During the day in Halcyon, as the bright sun shines onto the beautiful city, a large purple mass ominously hovers in the sky over the center of the city. What looks like tall towers with built-in elevators connect from the ground to the mass.

This mass is the hole in the Digital World left by the explosion that decimated Seattle twenty-five years ago. Through this hole, forces of the Triumvirate Empire entered Earth and invaded it but were eventually repelled of course. Now, this hole is used as a direct entrance into the Digital World.

Wulf and Renamon stand together in the town center, surrounded by buildings and booths attended by people and Digimon. A beautifully crafted stone fountain with a small angel statue on top rests in the center, cornered by steel benches. The two observe the mass in the sky, impressed by not just its appearance, but its significance and history.

"Wow, the entire history of human and Digimon unity all begins here," Wulf said, gazing up into the sky. Renamon glanced at him and then looked back at the mass.

"Yes, indeed. It leads to the Digital World, my home." Renamon told him. Wulf smiled, looking hopeful.

"One day, I want to go there. It sounds like such an amazing place." Wulf brought his gaze down to look at Renamon. In turn, she looked at him and initially thought about her past, before thinking about the present.

"Well, it may be far from perfect, but I'm sure you would enjoy it." She said as she smiled at him. The two then looked around at the booths around them.

"What are these exactly?" Renamon asked.

"These are booths, they are all a part of a market," Wulf told her.

"Market?" Her ears perked up.

Wulf chuckled. "Markets are where people sell various items to other people.".

"Interesting. It is nice to meet humans out here, but why have you brought me here?" Renamon asked as Wulf took her hand.

"I want you to try human food. You've never tried human food before, have you?" he asked her, still gripping her soft hand.

"No, I haven't. Are you sure I should? Digimon don't usually eat human food." As Renamon conveyed a sense of concern, Wulf managed to reassure her.

"Don't worry, you enjoyed sleeping last night, I'm sure you will enjoy eating some food." Wulf started slowly bringing her towards a booth.

"Well, last night wasn't my first time sleeping, I've done it before occasionally. I've never had a single piece of human food before." Renamon told him. Wulf seemed rather surprised upon hearing this.

"Not a single piece?". he asked as Renamon nodded.

Wulf looked at the booth he was approaching and then back at Renamon, smiling at her. "Just one small piece of food, you can take one bite, trust me."

Renamon took a deep breath to prepare herself as the two finally went up to the front of the booth. The booth was filled with various apples along with a sign that read "Apples: $5". Behind the booth was an old woman with short gray hair wearing an emerald, green sweater that matched her green eyes. To her side was a Lalamon, a plant-like Digimon that looked like it sprouted from a garden. Wulf and Renamon looked at the two as Wulf began taking out some cash from his pocket.

"Hello, I would like an apple please." He politely asked the woman, gripping a five-dollar bill in his hand.

"Why, thank you both very much." She smiled, taking the dollar from Wulf and handing it to Lalamon, who safely stored it in a box. Wulf took an apple and thanked the woman and her Digimon, walking from the booth alongside Renamon.

He handed the apple to Renamon, who observed it closely. It was a very delicious-looking fruit, perfectly fresh, ripe, and brightly red. Wulf grinned looking at her analyze the apple, almost as if it was something she had never seen before.

"What's this?" She asked.

"An apple. Go on, try it." He encouraged her.

With a deep breath, Renamon opened her mouth wide and bit into the apple, her teeth penetrating the red layering. With quick and precise force, Renamon closes her mouth, breaking a piece of the apple off with her teeth.

She chews the apple piece, taking in its sweet taste as she pulls the apple away from her mouth. Finally, with a swallow, Renamon's eyes widen, and she looks at the apple again, holding it in both hands.

"It tastes good?" Renamon declared a slight hint of a dumbfounded tone.

"You like it?" Wulf chuckled.

"Yes, I do," Renamon said.

"Great! I knew you would, Renamon. And you can keep eating it if you want." Wulf winked as Renamon began eating more of the apple, enjoying its very pleasant taste.

"Let's sit down, and please be careful not to choke." He urged Renamon as they went to sit on one of the benches near the fountain. As they sat down together, Renamon stopped chewing on the apple and brought it near her knees as she rested her hands on her thighs.

"Thank you, Wulf. I enjoy the taste of this." She gave a genuine smile to him.

"You're welcome, Renamon." Wulf felt very eager to see Renamon try new things and genuinely enjoy them. Then, he got an idea.

"If you enjoy that small apple, maybe you would enjoy a complete meal." He suggested.

Renamon's ears perked up. "A complete meal?".

"Yeah, there are plates full of different types of food that can be served. It's what humans eat when they want to satisfy their hunger. Would you like to have one?" He asked her.

Renamon felt very curious and excited hearing this offer, she smiled and stood up from the bench. "Yes, I would love that, Wulf.".

As she turned to face him as he still sat on the bench, Wulf felt a bit warm as he realized his range of view on the bench was focusing on her thighs. He quickly stood up to be able to look at her face.

"Uh, great! Alright, well I think I have an idea of where to take you then." The two looked into each other's eyes feeling joyful together. Wulf was glad the day was going well so far, and Renamon was eager to see what meal she would have. Surely, Wulf had chosen something of top-notch quality for her.
