Just another day in class at yancy academy for Edward Finch. Edward is a normal student at yancy which makes him extraordinarily out of the ordinary. He has some of the wildest dreams imangianable which he claims brings him to another world; plus the ADHD and dyslexia. Yeah its mainly the ADHD and dyslexia which sent him to Yancy academy. But its not all bad he has acouple of friends at this school, Grover Underwood and Peresphone Jackson. These terrible three are the reason some of the teachers flee, at least according to Edward. Currently the three of them are on a school bus to visit the new greek exhibit for their latin class. Edward doesnt quite get the reasoning of latin to greek considering the differences but the teacher mr Brunner has been teaching mainly about the mythology of latin so that you 'can see the roots and then the tree' so to speak. But alas we got off topic let us get back on topic and, ooph peanut butter and ketchup sandwich to the face of our beloved Edward. Of course his flare for dramatics is diminished as persephone decides to chew out the dreaded sandwich slinger, Nancy Bobofit. Grover ever the loyal friend hands Edward a tissue to clean up his face. As Edward Rises to the occasion we are reminded by Grover as to why he can't, "Edward you know what'll happen if you are caught in 'another incident' as the principal puts it; and Perce you know your on the same thin ice as Ed." Grover reminds the both of us. Yes ever the dutiful friend, and the only one of the trio who has thus far stayed out of trouble. As they both let the words rattle around in their brains a fresh chunk of the 'sandwich' plops right on Grover's head. Grover continues whilst fishing another tissue out of his bag "now stop trying to defend me, both of you. We both know that the principal will consider any act you two do no matter how 'good' as an incident and expel the both of you, and he has his loyal math teacher staring you down as if you personally offended her by existing." Both Ed and Perce look over and see as their math teacher Mrs dodds looks as though personally offended by their very exsistance. as he removes the sandwich from his hair he adds "thanks though, for sticking up for me." Persephone finding the atmosphere has gotten quite a bit heavy and serious with another hour on the bus looks to Ed with eyes that say tell us a another one of your stories. "Well, as we have some time what do the both you say to an 'Edwards Epic Epilogues' to pass the remaining hour we have on the bus." as they both nod Edward wets his lips and begins "As is only fitting since we go to the museum for the greek exhibit, why don't I tell you of the story of the Berserker class servant of the fifth goly grail war in Fuyuki japan; one of the greatest heroes whose name is still spoken aloud today, Heracles 'the Raging destroyer'. Capable of monstrous feats granted to him by the gods Heracles has the ability too…" as Edward tells them of one of his wacky dreams with his own flair for the dramatics the both of them are entranced and ask a variety of questions, "Wait so Heracles killed the hydra by shooting a 100 arrows all at once which killed the hydra and mankind just recorded history wrong?" asks perce "yes precisely as the gods were sealed into the heavens by gilgamesh chains Enkidu they could only affect the mortal world with their children, or those that they decided to influence with their blessings; and since mankind couldnt wrap their heads around how to fire one hundred arrows all at once they changed the story over time to make it more believable." Explains Edward. Grover poses his own question "How did he not die and was able to break free of the chains Enkidu whilst he was out of his 12 lives?" edward answers with short and curt "because one of his 12 lives recovered so he didnt have 12 he managed to recover enough to gain a 13th life and once that was taken his skill battle continuation activated and he was able to continue fighting despite lethal damage. As for breaking the chains i just assumed that since he is the strongest hero he was capable of feats others just arent."
As the troublesome trio reaches the museum and Edward is forced to end his tale both Grover and Persephone are uncharacteristically excited for the tour. Mr Brunner begins his tour of the statues and exhibits "Now here we have a clay pot which depicted Heracles and his fight against the lernean hydra now who can tell me about him?" Persephone leaps a hand in the air quick both to answer her favourite teacher and being hyped up about the hero by Edwards tale. as mr brunner picks her she tells quite a bit about him how he was originally Alcaeus before being renamed to appease Hera and all about his training under Chiron, his labours and his time in the argonauts. Mr brunner is stunned by the in depth wrong information until his eyes glimmer over with realization "Ms Jackson although you had quite a bit of correct information and Mr finches tales are interesting. I must implore you to remember that his stories are just that and that the actual myths are what is considered correct. So class remember that although what Ms jackson said is about 90% correct there were a few errors such as the fact that Heracles defeated the Hydra not with shooting a hundred arrows at once with the force to obliterate each of the hydras heads but by cutting off each head and then his nephew cauterized them. But great explanation Ms Jackson." Mr Brunner says and continues his tour. Persephone looks happy for the praise and cast a quick glance towards Edward, who flashes a thumbs up. The tour continues with nothing much of note to any of our trio until they come upon a statue of Kronos eating Zeus and Edward is called upon to answer. "Mr Finch, please explain this statue and its significance" Sighs Mr brinner knowing and being fully aware of Edwards flair for the dramatic. "Here, in this statue is a picture perfect description of a tyrant. The king of Titans the crooked one himself the titan lord of time and youngest son of Gaia, Kronos. He was a brutal oppressive king to all beings which were deemed under him. Here is a statue depicting him eating Zeus or should I say 'Zeus'. His mother Rhea had 5 kids before Zeus the olympian gods and each one of them were devoured whole. But Zeus being enough of an ugly baby was able to be swapped with a rock and kronos didnt think anything was different with his stone flavoured son. Zeus the underwent the classic heroes journey training on the isle of Crete and eventually joined his fathers court as a cup bearer where he fed him such a gross concoction that all the gods which were eaten Hestia,Hades,Demeter,Posedion and Hera where all thrown up and, thus begun the first Titanomachy where the gods won and claimed the tallest mountain as their seat of power Mount olympus." Edward makes to continue but is shut up by Mr Brunner saying "alright class thats enough of learning for now lets get some fresh air and eat our lunches."
