The day had finally come. The first day of classes for the new year was here. While some kids might dread the start of a new year, that wasn't the case for Kendo. She was all smiles, as she walked the streets with her childhood friend, Amajiki. Even with the age gap between the two, they still got along like siblings would. That being said, their personalities looked like polar opposite. At the moment Kendo, was upbeat and full of energy while Amajiki, looked as if he wished he'd never left his room.
"I don't get it. How can you be this excited in the morning?"
Kendo looked behind her with a sigh. "How can I not be? It's my first day at UA, anyone would be excited."
"Still, I just don't get it."
"Well, that sounds like a you issue and not a me issue."
Amajiki rested his head against a wall as he looked down. "That was just mean."
Kendo sighed again. "I'm sorry, Amajiki. I'm actually really nervous right now and you know I tend to lash out… stupid quirk influence."
Amajiki looked at her from the side with confusion. "Quirk influence?"
"Oh, it's something Izuku told me about. There's this theory out there that says that quirks can influence the way people act and think. It's possible that because my quirk involves my fists, that I'm prone to violent outbursts quicker."
Amajiki sighed. "If that's true, then what part of my quirk makes me this nervous."
Kendo shrugged before starting to walk again. "Maybe it's the fact that you have to rely on other things to use it- it makes you have no confidence in yourself. Now let's move it, Amajiki, I don't want to be late on my first day."
"Words can hurt, you know."
Kendo pulled out her phone, only halfway listening to what Amajiki had said. "Yeah, yeah."
Just as Amajiki had said, the two of them weren't running late for school. In fact, they were actually half an hour early; while that was way earlier than usual for Amajiki, he didn't mind, since he had nothing better to do. Kendo, on the other hand, was more than happy to be early- she still needed to find her class and hopefully get to know some of her new classmates. At least that's what she had hoped for, unfortunately she found herself sitting in the classroom all alone. Having nothing better to do, she decided to try and talk to Midoriya.
Itsuka: "Well today has started out great."
Izuku: "What happened?"
Itsuka: "Well I got to school early hoping to get to know my classmates, but now I'm just sitting in an empty room."
Izuku: "Wow… how early did you get there?"
Itsuka: "Like thirty minutes. It's not that early for the first day."
Izuku: "That's pretty early."
Itsuka: "Alright, yeah it's early but I was excited. Is it so wrong to look forward to school?"
Izuku: "Depends on who you ask. I know Eri has been excited about her lessons."
Itsuka: "Oh yeah, how have things been going with her?"
Izuku: "It's been fine, she hit a bit of a wall recently, but she hasn't given up."
Itsuka: "That's good, so when do I get to meet her?"
Izuku: "When do you want to come to Osaka?"
Itsuka: "That's a pretty far trip for a few hours."
Izuku: "You could always stay the night."
Kendos face heated up momentarily as she reread Midoriya's message. The mere idea of spending the night at the boy's place didn't phase her, but staying with her boyfriend was something else. Being so lost in the message she didn't hear the door open or the footsteps approaching.
"You look like you're really into whatever's on that phone."
Kendo jumped at the sudden words, when she looked up she was met by a pair of green eyes. They weren't the emerald ones she had grown accustomed to, no these were a dark green.
"I… I'm sorry, I didn't hear you come in."
A pair of sharp teeth smiling back at her teasingly. "I can see that, were you too busy making plans with your boyfriend?"
Kendo's face lit up as she shook her head. "No, it's not like that at all."
"Oh, so it's a boy toy then?"
Kendo continued to shake her head. "No, it is my boyfriend, but he was talking about introducing me to his niece that he's helping take care of."
The girl that was talking to her began to laugh, which only caused Kendo to be confused. When the girl finished laughing, she let out a soft sigh.
"Oh wow, you seem like a lot of fun already, I'm Setsuna Tokage."
Kendo stared at the girl, still clearly confused, before she realized what was happening. "Oh, I'm Itsuka Kendo."
Tokage smiled at Kendo while nodding satisfied. "So Kendo, tell me all about this boyfriend of yours."
Kendo narrowed her eyes on Tokage. "Do you always pry into people's personal life's when you first meet them, or is this something special?"
Tokage continued to bare her sharp toothy grin as she sat across from Kendo. "Nah, this is just for you. It's like I said earlier, you were really into your phone, so I just felt like teasing you a bit. I think it was a great ice breaker if I do say so myself."
Kendo sighed as she relaxed in her chair. "So, you're the mischievous type."
She shrugged playfully. "I can be, but I know when it is and isn't appropriate. I mean I didn't get in on recommendations by chance."
Kendos eyes widened at that. "Wait, you didn't have to take the standard entrance exam?"
Tokage shook her head. "Nope, but out of the select group of recommended students, only four were selected."
"Did those that didn't make it get to take the normal entrance exam?"
Tokage shrugged again. "I don't know, I'll let you know if I see anyone I recognize."
The two girls continued to talk and slowly more students made their way into class. She recognized a couple faces, but that was all. Tokage on the other hand recognized someone immediately from the recommendation test. Her slight scowl caused Kendo a bit of concern.
"Is something wrong?"
Tokage shook her head. "Not really, it's just there were a few hot guys in my test and I was hoping we got one of them."
Kendo rolled her eyes at Tokage. "Seriously?"
Tokage put a finger to her chin as she started to think. "Well, there was this one other girl who had a massive rack. I wouldn't have minded getting another look at her."
Kendo was slightly taken back by her statement. "I'm guessing you go both ways then."
Tokage smirked at her, playfully. "Is that an invitation?"
Kendo put her hand on the desk, attempting to slide away. "Ok, this conversation is done."
Tokage laughed as she reached out to stop Kendo from moving. "I'm just teasing you. But to answer your question, hot is hot and I'll admire it either way."
"Right, as long as the hands stay to themselves."
Tokage laughed nervously as she lifted her arms to show her hands missing. "I can't make any promises."
Kendo went wide eyed as she looked at the two stumps in front of her. As she looked on in amazement, she felt a tap on her shoulder; when she turned around, she saw two floating hands next to her. The two hands drifted back to Tokage, and reattached themselves.
"Alright, what exactly is your quirk?"
"Lizard Tail Splitter: I can split up my body and control the pieces, individually. Also: if I lose a piece, it regenerates."
"Like a lizard's tail."
"Bingo."
Kendo smiled excitedly. "That's a really cool quirk."
"Thanks, what's your's?"
"It's called Big Fist."
Tokage smirked, mischievously. "Sounds kinky."
Kendo took a deep breath ready to lay into her. "You know wha-"
Just before Kendo could get started, the door opened up, revealing a tall man in a red and white outfit with gray hair.
"Alright, everyone in their seats, we don't have much time before the orientation."
Tokage patted Itsuka's desk with a smirk as she made her way to her desk. Kendo could only sigh in response as everyone got seated.
"Alright, first things first, my name's Vlad King, but you can call me Mr. Vlad and I'll be your homeroom teacher. Second, I'd like to once again welcome you to UA's Hero Course. I'm looking forward to seeing the heroes you grow into. Third, while this may in fact be class 1-B, that makes you in way inferior to class 1-A. Does anyone have any questions so far?"
No one raised their hands, whether it was because they had no questions or if they weren't sure what questing to have, Kendo wasn't sure. Seeing that there was no questions Mr. Vlad continued on.
"Alright, let's go ahead and do introductions and then we'll head over to the auditorium for orientation. First seat, you're up."
The first person up was a boy named Yosetsu Awase, his only memorable feature was his blue and white headband. His quirk is Weld, which allows him to fuse anything together, but he has to be touching them.
The second person was another boy who had no memorable features, his name Sen Kaibara. His quirk, Gyrate, lets him rotate body parts at high speeds as if it were a drill.
Third was Togaru Kamakiri, who has a mantis-like appearance. He is able to produce large blades from any part of his body, thanks to his quirk: Razor Sharp.
Shihai Kuroiro was fourth seat in the class, he stood out quite a bit thanks to his pitch black skin. His quirk Black let him merge his body with anything dark in color.
The fifth seat was Itsuka Kendo with her quirk Big Fist.
Sixth was Yui Kodai, she's a shy girl. Her quirk, Size, allows her to change the size of any non-living object she touches.
Next was Kinoko Komori, her hairstyle resembled a mushroom. Her quirk is Mushroom, which allows her to create spores from her body, the spores she produces grow quickly once they make contact with a solid surface.
Ibara Shiozaki was after her, her long thorny vine hair was hard to miss. Combine that with her religious dimenure and it would be impossible to not notice her. Her quirk, Vines, lets her control her hair at will to do whatever she wants it to.
The next boy had a beast-like appearance and was known as Jurota Shishida. His quirk, Beast, lets him drastically augment his strength, speed, and durability, as well as improves his senses. The major drawback is that he becomes reckless in this state.
Nirengeki Shoda, was after him. His quirk, Twin Impact, allows him to hit an object and then remotely make the point of contact experience a second impact. The second impact is much stronger than the first .
Next was a foreign exchange student from America, Pony Tsunotori, her long blonde hair and horns caused her to stand out. Her quirk, Horn Cannon, lets her fire the horns on her head and control them, once she fires the horns a new pair grows back instantly.
Kosei Tsuburaba was behind Pony, his quirk, Solid Air, lets any air he breathes out create a solid wall of air.
After him was a boy of redundancy, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu. His loud personality caused him to stand out in unwanted ways. His quirk, Steel, lets him turn his skin into steel. As simple as it seems, it still grants him a drastic increase in durability and strength.
Setsuna Tokage decided to have a little fun with her introduction. While she was in the middle of speaking, she stopped and let her head fall off and hit the floor. Almost everyone screamed in terror, as normal people should, but that ended quickly, as she laughed from the ground.
Following Tokage was Manga Fukidashi, who has a speech bubble for a head. His quirk Comic lets his words he says materialize, sadly it only works for words that describe sounds.
The next student was the second one accepted from recommendation, his name was Juzo Honenuki. His quirk, Softening, lets him soften any non-living thing he touches.
Kojiro Bondo, was next and he was the one of the more interesting looking ones in the class. His quirk, Cemedine, lets him shoot a quick drying glue from the holes in his face. It honestly didn't sound pleasant at all.
The boy after him was Neito Monoma. With his quirk, Copy, he can use the quirk of anyone he touches for a set amount of time, that being said that didn't mean he could use all of them. Some quirks would be "blanks" that happened if the quirk used stored power.
A quiet girl was after him, her name was Reiko Yanagi. Her quirk, Poltergeist, let her telekinetically control objects around her, but there was a weight limit.
The final student was Hiryu Rin. His quirk, Scales, allowed him to grow reptilian-like scales from his skin. The scales could be worn like armor or fired off for offense.
When everyone had finished introducing themselves, Mr. Vlad once again took the front of the room and instructed us on where the orientation was taking place. When he was finished, we all lined up and began to walk to the auditorium.
Inside, we found our seating area, Tokage was quick to take one of the seats next to me, while Monoma occupied the other. While we were waiting for things to begin, Tokage leaned in and elbowed me.
"Hey, it looks like class 1-A hasn't shown up yet. Do you think something happened?"
I looked over to where she was motioning, and noticed an empty area. I found it odd that they hadn't shown up yet.
"I doubt it, maybe they're just running late."
A soft scoff came from Monoma. "They must think they're too good for this."
Tokage and I both looked at him confused. Sure it was odd they hadn't shown up yet, but I highly doubted it was the students' choice. It was more than likely their teacher's idea, but I was sure whoever they were had a good reason for it.
Before we were able to tell him our opinion, a small rodent-like creature stepped up to the podium and began the orientation. The whole speech took about thirty-minutes, and it was basically a rehashing of our welcome. There wasn't much interesting said, and it honestly made me wonder if class 1-A had made the right decision on skipping out on this.
When everything finished, we found our way back to the classroom where Mr. Vlad opened the floor for questions. Most of the questions were about what we would be learning about, hero work, or what our daily schedule would look like. Everything was going smoothly, until Tetsutetsu raised his hand.
"Mr. Vlad, is there a reason why class 1-A never showed up?"
Mr. Vlad sighed as he rested his hand on the podium. "Here at UA, teachers in the hero course are given more freedom in the way they run their classes. Class 1-A's teacher is known for doing things quite differently than the others. He more than likely was having his class do a quirk assessment test."
Tetsutetsu shot up confused. "Wait, should we be doing a quirk assessment as well?"
Mr. Vlad nodded his head. "Yes, but we'll be doing it at the end of the day."
Shishida raised his hand wanting to chime in as well. "Is that really necessary? Didn't everyone see what we can do during the entrance exam?"
"We did, but that was in combat, this will give you a baseline of what you can do with your quirk. We'll do these at the beginning of every semester to check your progress. If there's no more questions we'll move onto our next class."
The rest of the school day was relatively uneventful. All the classes did their first day introductions, then immediately began lectures. In between classes, everyone began to socialize and get to know more of their classmates. Kendo spent most of the time talking with those directly around her, and Tokage who somehow managed to make her way over every time.
At the end of the day, they did their quirk assessment test. It wasn't anything extreme, if anything it was a let down. Kendo had figured there would be some extreme events relating to quirks, but in reality, it was a standard physical fitness test where they were allowed to use their quirks.
When class finally came to an end for the day, Kendo sighed in relief as she made her way through the halls. Some people had decided to stay back and chat more, but she was just ready to get home for now. As she made her way into the courtyard, she pulled out her phone and saw a message with an attachment from Midoriya. A smile crept onto her face as she saw him sitting with a cute girl with white hair and a single horn. She was smiling happily as she bit into an apple. She could see paperwork spread across the table so it was obvious she was taking a small break from studying.
"Whoa, Kendo, I didn't know you had a kid?"
Kendo jumped as she nearly dropped her phone. "Christ, Tokage, don't sneak up on me like that."
Tokage gave her a toothy grin. "Relax, I was just trying to have some fun. Now, tell me about this kid."
Kendo sighed as her head slightly dropped. "No, I don't have a kid. It's my boyfriend's niece, and he's helping her study."
Tokage put her hands together. "Ah a boy who loves children, how dreamy."
"Don't go getting any funny ideas, he's spoken for."
Tokage scoffed and feigned being hurt. "And what exactly kind of girl would you take me for, Kendo?"
Kendo narrowed her eyes. "Someone who jumps at any opportunity that sounds fun."
Tokage laughed as she raised her hand. "Guilty as charged, now let me see a picture of Mr. Boyfriend and niece."
"And why exactly should I do that?"
"Come on we're friends, I'd show you my boyfriend if I had one."
Kendo looked at her skeptically, before sighing and showing her the picture of Midoriya with Eri. Tokage's eyes widened in surprise.
"Dang Kendo, look at you, I approve of the choice of green."
"Thank you… I think?"
Tokage laughed again. "Don't mention it."
The two of them walked to the station together, Tokage was full of questions for Kendo. Kendo didn't exactly mind, she found it to make the trip go faster, but that didn't make it any less exhausting. When they reached the station, they split up to catch their respective trains, that wasn't before they exchanged numbers. When Kendo found a seat on the train, she pulled out her phone and saw a message notification.
Izuku: "So how was the first day Ms. Hero?"
Kendo smiled as she read his message; with a deep breath, she began to type out her own reply.
Itsuka: "Well do I have a story for you."
Midoriya was sitting in his living room with Eri, she had just finished her snack and was once again practicing writing the alphabet. In the short time they had spent together, she had made tremendous progress. She had learned the alphabet and was currently working on her penmanship. Was copying the alphabet the best option? No, but the repetition with familiar words wouldn't hurt at all.
As she worked, Midoriya sat with his laptop doing further research on Nighteye Agency. He wasn't exactly sure what he was looking for, but he knew he hadn't found it yet. Every link he clicked pulled up the same information, the only difference was occasionally an article would mention an intern while others never made mention of them.
Just as his annoyance was starting to peak, his phone started to go off. The sudden noise caused Eri to flinch, but he quickly reassured her that everything was alright, before excusing himself to answer the call.
"You know I'm out this week, so this better be important."
"Apologies, Phoenix, but an urgent matter has come up. I promise it will be quick."
Midoriya sighed as he went to his closet to grab his clothes. "Give me ten minutes and I'll send you my location."
"Thank you."
The call ended and Midoriya rubbed his temples. This wasn't necessarily the worst time for a call, but there easily could have been better times. After quickly changing clothes, he grabbed a lighter that sparked a crimson flame. When he walked into the living room Eri gave him a confused look.
"Sorry Eri, I have to step out for a little bit. Will you be alright by yourself?"
She nodded vigorously.
"Good, remember the rules?"
She nodded again. "Don't open or answer doors, don't answer the phone, and don't go outside."
"And why don't we do that?"
"Because it's dangerous for me to do those things alone."
Midoriya gently patted her head before leaving. "That's my girl."
Midoriya quickly made his way into a back alleyway near his apartment. When his location had been sent a purple and black mist opened a few moments later. After igniting his mask in a crimson flame, he stepped through and found himself back in the bar. The usual suspects were found in their usual places and once Midoriya took his seat, the TV turned on, playing a familiar voice.
"Sorry for the inconvenience Phoenix, I do hope we didn't interrupt anything important."
"It's fine, Koroguri said it's urgent?"
"Yes, Tomura has a plan and we wanted to fill you in ahead of time, in case any arrangements needed to be made."
Midoriya nodded. "Alright, what's the plan?"
Shigaraki slowly scratched his neck. "Next week, we're attacking UA."
Midoriya's eyes widened as he looked at him in disbelief. He quickly put a finger in his ear, twisting it a few times before pulling it out. "I'm sorry, could you repeat that for me."
Shigaraki scratched his neck a little quicker. "I said we're attacking UA next week. Are you going deaf or something?"
Midoriya scratched his head, clearly confused. "No, I just wanted to make sure I heard you right when you said you want to attack the number one hero school in Japan that All Might is teaching at."
"That's exactly why we're going to attack. We're going to kill All Might."
Midoriya looked at Shigaraki in disbelief. "You're crazy."
Shigaraki's scratching came to a stop as he glared at Midoriya. "Master, show him Nomu."
The tv screen flickered for a moment, before a giant bird-like creature with an exposed brain was standing in the center of the frame. The creature did nothing, it only stood there staring mindlessly into space.
"What the hell is that?"
Shigaraki's eyes lit up. "That is Nomu, it's a biologically enhanced weapon that is designed to kill All Might."
"Uh-huh, and how exactly will it do that?"
"It has been given multiple quirks, including: shock absorption, enhanced strength, and regimentation. It can take and deliver any hit needed."
On the screen it showed a cannon firing into the Nomu. The round went straight into its stomach, but the beast didn't move. When the round fell out it's stomach looked like a mangled mess of bones and muscle, but slowly the broken bits were forced out as new bones and muscles formed bringing it back to new. The fact that something like this could be made was terrifying.
"How many of these do you have?"
The screen turned black again as the voice came from it. "At the moment, we have one of this level and roughly ten of a lower level. These things take time to make and not all of them are successes."
"I see, so what's the plan we warp this thing into All Might's class and let it rampage?"
Shigaraki glared at Midoriya. "Are you an idiot?"
Midoriya matched his gaze, as his flames grew slightly. "I'm not the one that came up with the plan to attack UA."
"That's enough, you two, let's finish explaining the plan before we talk about if it's a good idea or not."
The voice coming from the tv had changed and had a tinge of intimidation in it that chilled Midoriya to the bone. He quickly calmed down as his flames returned to normal.
"That's better, please continue, Tomura."
Shigaraki began to scratch his neck again. "As you know, we have a spy residing in class 1-A. He informed us that they are supposed to be having a rescue training with All Might, next week. The class will be isolated from the rest of the school. We can use Koroguri to get inside and then cut off their communication. From there, Nomu handles All Might and our group takes care of the students."
Midoriya sighed after hearing his plan. "Alright, let's just assume everything does work out, how do we get the exact location for Koroguri and how do we stop them from calling for backup?"
"That's simple, Friday I'm going to cause a distraction at UA. The media has been flocking their entrance ever since All Might made his announcement, so I'll let them in. While everyone is dealing with the press, our spy will sneak into the teachers lounge and get us all the information we need. As far as communication goes, we have someone that specializes in that."
"I still think this is risky, but I guess we do have Koroguri if things go south."
"Just do your job."
Midoriya sent one last glare before turning to Koroguri. "If that's everything, can you send me back now?"
A voice came from the tv again. "Of course, we have some information on the students in the class for you to look over as well. Let us know if any of them catch your eye."
Midoriya nodded as Koroguri handed him a folder. As his warp opened, the voice from the tv spoke again.
"Phoenix, I heard you went to UA the day of the entrance exam. Do you by chance have a friend that goes there or perhaps it's a lover?"
Midoriya's blood began to boil as the flames on his mask grew hotter and brighter. His intensity caused Koroguri and Shigaraki to flinch.
"She's in 1-B, and if anything happens to her I will turn everyone here to charcoal."
A laugh came from the tv. "I see, having someone to protect is a double-edged sword, but I'll allow it for now. Just know that it is impossible for her not to get wrapped up in this at some point, since she is at UA."
"I know, and I'll act accordingly when that day comes."
Midoriya could hear the manic laughter echoing in his ears, as he walked through the portal. Once he found himself back in the alleyway, he extinguished his flames before punching the wall. A few small trails of blood ran down his knuckles as he made his way back into his apartment. Inside, he found Eri fast asleep on the couch. With a deep sigh, he made his way back to his room to drop off the file.
After he washed the blood off of his knuckles, he checked on Eri again to make sure she was still asleep. When he had confirmed it, he took out his phone to call Kai.
"What do you want? I'm very busy?"
"How close is it to a testing phase?"
"… Very, why do you ask?"
"I have a job next week and I figured I could take it for a test drive. You know, do my job as one of the eight bullets."
"I see, how will you confirm their effectiveness though?"
"I have my ways, and you know I always get the job done."
"That's true, do you know what day you need them?"
"I should have an exact date by Saturday."
"Interesting, well I should be able to make a few rounds for you, but I'll need more of Eri's blood."
"I'll bring you a vial tonight, when I drop her off."
"I'll be waiting, now if you'll excuse me, I have some work to do."
Midoriya sighed again as he hung up the phone, today had continuously gotten worse as the day went along on. He glanced at the file but quickly looked away, he didn't want to think about that anymore for now. Instead he went out to the kitchen to start preparing dinner.
He tried to prepare as quietly as possible to not wake Eri, but soon she started to stir. With a dazed look she turned around and stared at Midoriya, confused. When the reality that she had fallen asleep when she was supposed to be studying sank in, she immediately started to panic.
"I… umm.. I… I-"
Midoriya laughed softly. "It's ok, Eri, you've been working hard today so you earned a nap."
"Ok…" She looked down, dejected, still feeling as if she had done something wrong.
Midoriya shook his head, before tapping the counter to get her attention. "Want to help me prepare dinner?"
She looked curiously, before slowly making her way over. Midoriya pulled out a small step ladder, so she could reach the counter safely. In front of her, was a layout of spices that she didn't recognize, as well as some bowls and measuring utensils.
"Alright, can you measure out some of the spices for me."
Eri nodded as she rolled up her sleeves similarly to Midoriya's. Before he could show her what exactly to mix his phone began to go off; however, this time he smiled as he answered it.
"What's up, Itsuka?"
On his screen Kendo was sitting at her desk studying. He figured she was just calling to see how things were going.
"Not much, just taking a little break from studying."
"It was the first day, how can you already have so much to study for?"
"Did you forget that this is UA we're talking about? It is known for being a prestigious school."
"Still, isn't the first day just a welcome and class overview?"
"I wish. We had lectures all day, but enough about school. I called to not think about it. It looks like you're cooking, what are you making?"
"Katsudon."
"Sounds yummy. Are you making some for Eri too?"
Midoriya laughed as he turned the phone towards Eri. "She's actually helping me cook."
Kendos face lit up as she watched Eri look at every spice. When Eri finally noticed the phone, she froze up and looked to Midoriya for help.
"It's ok Eri, this is Itsuka, she's the nice lady I've told you about."
Eri peaked up and quickly put her hand up and down. "Hi."
Kendo smiled sweetly at her. "Are you helping Izuku cook?"
She gingerly nodded. "Yeah…"
"That's awesome, what are you incharge of?"
"Measuring spices…"
Kendo nodded. "Sounds like you have an important job. Which one are you gonna start with?"
Eri looked up at Midoriya looking for confirmation. Midoriya could only laugh softly. "Sorry Itsuka, I hadn't told her what to start with yet. Do you mind helping her while I focus on the rest?"
"Of course, do you mind if I help, Eri?"
Again, Eri looked up to Midoriya and he gave her a nod of approval. Eri looked back to the phone and nodded as well. Seeing Eri's reactions only made Kendo's smile brighter.
The time the three of them spent cooking was filled with laughter. Eri, while very shy at first, slowly opened up to Kendo to the point she didn't look to Midoriya for confirmation all the time. When Eri began to laugh, Midoriya could see that Kendo had fallen in love with the girl immediately, and that there was only a matter of time before she asked to meet her again.
