He (Griphook) looked at Anna, came forward and with a rush of feathers, they were all taken, instantly to Diagon Alley.

Line Break.

Diagon Alley was quiet, Witches and Wizards hurrying along with their business; No one spoke, too scared to do so as they passed one another and a dark alleyway that led to the Darker part to the shopping Precinct: Knockturn Alley.

It was in this alleyway that feathers were heard flapping as and a couple were seen walking with purpose, the rugged man scratching his beard while the woman, too recognisable to the Wizards, ignored everyone in her quest to go to the bank. No one knew that a red-haired woman walked beside them, invisible to the eye and also that Undesirable No.1 Harry Potter had arrived back in Diagon Alley and was walking behind Bellatrix Lestrange with a goblin upon his back.

Anna kept looking around as they walked, keeping herself unseen even to her companions. It would be no good if she were discovered, being the getaway driver, so to speak. It was only when a figure came out of a shop beside them that Harry stopped suddenly, Griphook tightening his hold on the wizard. They watched as witches and wizards quickly scurried away from the Death Eater among them, Harry swearing under his breath, wanting to Curse the man but unable to do so without compromising their plan. So, he went for the next best thing and put a hand out to stop Anna.

He didn't feel the angel as he fell back and watched the Death Eater go to Hermione who looked over when she heard the man call Bellatrix's name, Ron doing the same before the man got to them and looked Bellatrix over as she stood tall and did the same.

"Well, this is certainly a surprise, Miss Bellatrix. I heard that the residents of Malfoy Manor were under House Arrest after the... unfortunate escape last month." The man said, stumping them all as he continued, "And you had a Winchester too as well as Harry Potter."

It was thanks to Anna's sessions with Hermione that the witch kept her face straight as she was scrutinised and answered, "I am not without fault. However, the Dark Lord does deem our punishment learnt and has allowed myself to Gringotts on important business."

"And your companion?" The Death Eater looked Ron over with his beard and short stature as Bellatrix did the same and replied, "This is Dragomir Despard. Hungarian, Full Blooded and sympathetic to our Cause. The Dark Lord has requested that I at least show him Gringotts before he goes back to Hungary."

"Alas, the folly of money. I too have to visit Gringotts today, Madam Lestrange. Perhaps we should visit together and show our esteemed guest the bank." The Death Eater looked 'Dragomir' over once and turned back to Bellatrix, deeming him unnecessary of attention before he was walking away, towards the bank, Bellatrix following and soon stepping in line with him. Dragomir, Anna, Harry and Griphook all followed the two up to the entrance, past the gigantic and glorious white doors and into the atrium where the infamous poem stood, written in gold,

Enter, stranger, but take heed,
Of what awaits the sin of greed,
For those who take, but do not earn,
Must pay most dearly in their turn,
So if you seek beneath our floors
A treasure that was never yours,
Thief, you have been warned, beware
Of finding more than treasure there.

Anna raised an eyebrow as they passed through the doors and into a splendid marble foyer with tall desks running down the entire length. The chatter that had accompanied the affairs of the bank-tellers and customers abruptly came to an end with the arrival of the two Death Eaters and humans and goblins alike quickly moved out of the way of them both, everyone looking away or down for fear of attracting attention. No one knew that Undesirables Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley had returned to Diagon Alley and that they had brought along an actual Angel of the Lord with them.

Seeing the way that the humans were looking away pissed Anna off as she walked behind her companions and resolved to do what she could to help them all… after this had been done. Right now, they needed to get the Horcrux and destroy it. There was just one small matter of the Death Eater accompanying 'Bellatrix' as he got to a counter, handed over a small key to the goblin who nodded and called forth a second goblin, with whom he went before turning back and waiting for Bellatrix and Dragomir as she too handed her key over and watched as the goblin scrutinised it and then looked at her before setting the key aside.

"I'm sorry, Madam Lestrange but may I see some form of identification?" Bellatrix didn't look surprised to hear that identification was required, just silently handed over the wand, looking slightly pissy as she did so and the goblin observed her and then looked at the wand.

"Hermione, remember what we went over." Anna told her, leaning over to speak to the Polyjuiced witch, "She's haughty, commanding and an overall bitch."

The goblin looked Bellatrix over again and opened his mouth but stopped as his face became calm and he nodded, "All seems in order. Allow me to take you to your Vault, Madam Lestrange."

He turned and disappeared briefly. No one saw the shoulders drop in relief on both the invisible and visible wizards before they went with the goblin, whose name turned out to be Bogrod as he joined them and they all went through a plain-looking door. Travis Scott was nowhere in sight, having gone on alone with his goblin.

Anna suddenly felt like she was being forced back as she walked through and her invisibility melted away as the door banged shut, concealing them from view. Harry and Griphook also emerged from underneath the cloak, Griphook hopping off the wizard's back. The goblin accompanying them gave no shout of surprise as Undesirable No. 1 became visible along with a former colleague and a redheaded who could pass for a Weasley.

"Imperious Curse," Harry said, by way of explanation when Dragomir and Bellatrix looked shocked and looked at the Teller.

"This is all well and good, but we need to get to the vault. I no longer have the clearance to drive the cart, so we need Bogrod." Griphook interjected, walking between the Quartet and dragging his former colleague behind as Anna backed away, "Command him to call the cart."

Harry pointed his wand to the Teller who raised his hand, and a small mining cart came rattling down the track and stopped in front of the group of four humans and two goblins. Anna looked at it, and the others and backed away, raising her hands slightly and saying, "I'm out."

"Anna…" Harry was shushed before they all appeared suddenly in the cart, Anna stepping away, her long dagger-like blade appearing from her sleeve as she hissed to the trio, "Get the cup and destroy the Horcrux within. I have to address a long overdue meeting."

The three wizards looked at one another before the cart lurched and they rattled away, Anna standing, looking frightening just as a man appeared and he held a different blade to what Anna held. They simply looked before they immediately lunged at each other, sparks flying from the blades before the cart turned the corner and the American was lost from view, causing the three friends to look worried at each other and Harry sat down, something within wanting to help Anna but unable to.

The cart rattled down the track, taking sharp turns and always threatening to throw the passengers out as the speed grew the further down they went, and the temperature dropped. A flash of power chased after them as a clap of thunder echoed above them, and they entered into a cavern as the cart went faster than before and drove towards what appeared to be a waterfall ahead of them. Griphook swore just as a body appeared in their cart and Anna's voice shouted, "GET DOWN! NOW!"

They all squashed down in the cart, Harry pulling Bogrod with him as they passed through the waterfall, but they felt nothing pass over them. In fact, it all became suddenly darker when they came out of the other side, Anna panting suddenly as she sat back, and they could see light drift into the cart again before they sat up and turned to a wet, bloodstained Anna Milton. Wings, large, owl-like wings, extended from her back as she sat back in the cart – only to pause and look behind her, then at the gawping humans and sigh before turning to Griphook, who also seemed speechless at the wings he was currently looking at.

"The Thief's Downfall. Powerful enough to lift all deceitful enchantments, even on angels." Anna said, showing the waterfall they'd passed under. Griphook shook himself out of the stupor and nodded, agreeing with the angel, adding, "Created during the first Goblin civil war, we needed a way to detect intruders into our Headquarters, especially Angels, who were notorious to find. We adapted the recipe to find their power and bring out the true nature. We took the same recipe and brought it to Gringotts when it was placed in our care over two thousand years ago. Your wings will remain visible until you wash the Downfall from your vessel, Angel."

The cart trundled along on it's given course in shocked silence and very soon, they found themselves stopping at a platform, Anna squeezing water from her hair which she scrunched into waves as they stood and got out, throwing the locks behind her, only to growl low when it didn't go to plan before just stepping onto the platform, her wings dragging on the floor, the cart trundling back up the rails when the last passenger stepped off. Anna couldn't help looking behind her as she shifted them only to sigh and roll her shoulders when Harry looked at her. She gave a wry smile as she tucked away the blade and slowed to walk beside the Boy Wizard and goblins.

It wasn't awfully long before they reached an archway that opened into an atrium. The humans just caught a glimpse of a tail and leather-like wing before they were all forced to duck around the corner, the goblins included. They all waited, crouched, whilst Griphook grabbed a heavy-looking bag from a dark cupboard in the atrium and looked inside. Chains rattled in the other room when a heavy rattle was pressed into Anna's hand. It sounded like someone was dragging their fingernails down a blackboard as Griphook passed more around and revealed that they were called Clankers, something used to deter the beast within.

Harry took the Clanker with a raised eyebrow and asked, "Just what is this beast, Griphook?"

A roar, not unlike the one's the Trio had heard during the Triwizard Tournament three years ago, had the humans looking at the archway before Anna was carefully going over and looking within, just missing a jet of flame as she quickly turned to dodge the fire.

"Dragons." Was all she said, glaring at Griphook as she re-joined them, "And not in their humanoid form either."

This information had the Trio looking at each other confused again before Anna was putting down her Clanker and carefully going out into the open, arms held aloft as she sidestepped quietly and looked anywhere but at the dragon, Harry decided to follow the Angel's lead as he put his own rattle down and went after her, Bellatrix and Ron following soon after. Griphook kept hold of his own Clanker as he came in, the sound coursing through the room and causing the Dragon to roar in pain as the humans froze, Anna looking back and just managing to force the others down as the dragon spewed fire at the Goblin wielding the rattle. His reaction wasn't quick enough for the speed of the dragon however as his sleeve was set slight and he dropped the Clanker, the rattle rolling underfoot of the draconic form in front of them and it was crushed, metal crunching under the weight of the giant beast as it roared horrendously, the sound drowning out Griphook's own yells before a jet of water was fired at him, Harry being the caster but his face was serious as he put his wand hand down and dragged the goblins forward while Anna looked at the dragon.

"We were making progress, Griphook." Harry hissed, looking at the only Goblin who wasn't imperioused and was glaring at him as Bellatrix and Ron joined them all, "I don't care what the protocols say for Dragons, but we were not to create attention to ourselves."

Behind them, the dragon gave another roar as Anna waved her arms and distracted it, her massive wings flapping in a dangerous display, but it seemed to be working as the dragon gave one last roar and backed down, allowing her to pass and re-joined the group, looking between them all and speaking up before Griphook could open his mouth to retaliate, "You're lucky, Goblin. I just want you to know that. Next time, I will not be here to distract the dragons and bail you out. Let's get into the vault."

Griphook growled shortly before they all walked as one, Harry flicking his wand to Bogrod and making him follow them up to a hand-hole in the bare wall behind the gargantuan being that had curled up, eyeing them almost human-like and pleading as Bellatrix looked back before a rumbling echoed through the cavern and a door appeared then opened, allowing them access into the vault...

That's better...

Good place to leave it, I think. If I'm honest, I've been totally dependent on my memory for this chapter, just really adding bits and pieces as they came. It would have been longer but when writing, it just didn't work.

There may be a reveal for the Trio but not telling what.

Anyway, please, please please leave a comment on what you thought. And I'll see you in the next chapter.
