Ricardo wakes up with a schedule. Events to compete at, training seminars to teach at, people to see, things to do. Even Mexico City wasn't this good, because he was limited to what his contract with Alberto's federation would allow. Now he's free to do whatever, go wherever. It feels nice. Even more so when Alicia's stirring next to him, hand gently smoothing over his skin. "Morning," he greets her, kissing the side of her face.

She beams. "Morning." Rolling over to press into him, she cups his jaw and kisses him intently. "I was invited to Smackdown," she says with a small smile. "Probably won't be on TV or anything but at least I can see people there, say hello."

"That's nice," he says, tilting his face up towards her and sighing softly as she takes advantage and trails slow, hungry kisses along his jaw, against his mouth. His fingers ease over her body, causing her to shiver, and he smirks, squeezing her gently. "So," he whispers. "The house is quiet... everyone's probably still asleep..."

She stares at him, eyes dark with want and curiosity. "Mm hmm..."

"How quiet can you be?" She giggles a little, rolling her eyes, before leaning in for more, slow, deep kisses that sends tingles all the way to his toes. Damn, I guess we'll just have to see, he decides with a faint laugh as he rolls over and presses her into the pillows, trailing kisses over her soft, warm skin.

They only just find the urge to leave bed when they hear people wandering around, the faint aroma of coffee and sausage coming from the kitchen. Alicia hums and rests her head on Ricardo's shoulder as they walk hand in hand over to the other side of the house, a small smile on her face.

"Morning, guys," Mike greets them with a small smile as he pokes at some scrambled eggs.

Sara lights up when she sees them, reaching out for Alicia. "Morning, Mike," Ricardo responds, unable to look away from the tender affection on Alicia's face as she lifts the little girl up for an early morning hug. That'll be us, with our child some day, he thinks fondly, reaching out to ruffle Sara's hair and making her giggle and flail her chubby little arms around to try to settle her soft brown hair back down.

Mike leans against the counter with a small smile and watches them as Sara clings to Alicia. "So how are you two doing?" he asks with a knowing glint to his eye.

"Fine," Ricardo says, rubbing Alicia's back for a moment before trailing over to the stove to look at the food. "Hey, you haven't burnt anything yet."

"Ha-ha," Mike says dryly, nudging him before turning back to shift the sausages around. Ricardo merely grins, moving to get the cheese out for the eggs. "AJ is still asleep," he says after a moment. "I may eat with her when she wakes up, can you guys keep an eye on Sara...?"

"Of course," Ricardo says. "We're always up for that, you know that, Mike."

"Thanks," he says softly. "Doctor says AJ could go into labor at any time or it could drag on for a few more weeks. Baby's not in distress, she's doing really well on bedrest, so it's kind of like... a holding pattern, giving the baby more time to develop. Which is all fine and good, but AJ is pretty frustrated, being stuck in bed all the time. She didn't have any problems in the first pregnancy, which makes this even worse for her."

Ricardo nods solemnly, casting a glance over at Alicia. He couldn't imagine what he'd do if something went wrong with her, with their child. "Well, hopefully things will progress quickly and you guys'll have your second child in your arms before you know it," he says with a faint smile when Mike claps him on the back.

"Here's hoping, man," he agrees lowly, moving to get plates and serve their food.

Ricardo eases over to Alicia and Sara, lightly kissing Alicia on the shoulder and feeling her watch him. He finally looks up to meet her eyes and she smiles weakly at him. "It's a lot to take in, huh? So many risks and uncertainties..."

He nods, remembering some of the things his sister had gone through to have her children. "Yeah," he whispers, licking his lips anxiously.

"But no matter what," Alicia tells him, easing her free hand into his and squeezing gently. "I know I'd be ok because I'd have you by my side."

He smiles at her, not exactly eased by her words, but deciding to hold onto them anyway because if Alicia's so sure about something, then he refuses to let her down. Resting a hand on her hip, he draws her closer and whispers into her ear, "Let's try again before I go do that seminar."

She nods, kissing him softly. "Sounds good to me, Papi."
