The call comes when Ricardo least expects it. He's driving around California, enjoying what may be one of his last few days here for awhile, when his phone rings. He finds a quick, safe spot, and pulls over to the side, fumbling for his cell. He answers just before it goes to voicemail, breathy and uncertain who would be calling at this early of an hour. "Hola?"

Immediately he sits up straighter and listens, brows lifting in amazement. It's his Egyptian contact, and finally, finally, unless something else delays it because of COVID, they are- all three of them- cleared to come back so Ricardo can resume his training activities there. He closes his eyes, relieved. "Gracias, thank you, thank you so much," he says again and again, unable to stop smiling.

When he gets back on the road, he takes a left instead of continuing right, and drives on until he returns back to Miz's home. Everyone is still sleeping off the Thanksgiving feast he had hosted the night prior, but Ricardo had grown restless, antsy, thinking about Egypt, so he had gotten in the car and drove for awhile.

Now however, he sneaks back inside and toes his shoes off before tiptoeing back towards the bedrooms. Alicia is still sprawled out on her back, snoring ever so faintly, and he stands by the side of the bed for a few moments, just watching her, before he crawls into bed and kisses the side of her head, drawing her into his arms. "Alicia," he whispers into her hair. "Alicia. Wake up, Foxy."

She stirs, then groans. "Andre...?"

"He's fine," Ricardo murmurs. "He'll be even better once we're all where we're supposed to be, in Egypt." Her breath stutters as she turns in his arms and examines him sleepily. "That's right, I finally got the call. We're all cleared to go in three weeks."

She lights up. "Amazing," she breathes, winding her arms around his neck. "I can't wait, it's going to be so much fun."

He nods, squeezing her. "Yes," he hums, eager to experience this with her, to help Andre experience new cultures starting off as young as he possibly can. "It really, really will be."
