"I know we have a lot going on," Ricardo says slowly, hand low on Alicia's back as he guides her through the empty room. "My sobriety, the twins on the way. But I've always wanted to, and the prices are right, right now." He rubs up and down her spine, examining the walls and light fixtures and everything in between. "It needs washed, and painted, and other things to make it look perfect, but I think it has a lot of promise."

Alicia turns in a slow circle, taking it all in. "You will be amazing at this, Ricardo," she says. "Everyone in Egypt and India loved you so much. I can't wait to see what you do here."

He rests a hand on her stomach and smiles, searching her face. "You're sure about this? I mean, it's a really busy time-"

"Ricardo," she says. "I get the feeling you're trying to talk yourself out of it by letting me tell you it's a poor time." She turns to him, dropping her hands on his shoulders, and squeezing. "I'm not going to do that." He blinks at her and she chuckles, shaking her head. "I came close to losing you to alcoholism," she explains, stroking his arms. "I'm proud of how you've handled your sobriety since then. And the move here went so well, it feels so much like home already. I'm going to trust you in knowing that this wrestling school will work well.

He smiles, dropping his head down on her shoulder. "When you say it like that," he says. "I'm going to trust you. This school is going to be incredible."

"Hell yes it is," she says. "After I have these little ones, you might even see me wandering around, teaching some of those people a few things."

He smiles. "Like your scissors kick."

"Exactly!" she tells him. "And how to be fashionable as a wrestler."

He chuckles at her. "Well, they'll definitely have the best looking wrestling gear when you get through with them."

She beams at him, cupping his face and kissing him intently. "Yes, yes they will. The other rookies on the indy scene will be so jealous of them all."

"Between the skills they'll be learning from me and other trainers, and your fashion sense, they won't need for anything."

Alicia beams at him. "I love how confident you've become since moving here. It makes me so happy." She kisses him, trailing her hand down his arm, and lacing their fingers together. "I love you."

"I love you too," he murmurs, stroking her face. "I'm so lucky to have you by my side through all of this. I'd be lost without you."

She smiles and kisses him again, deep and intent. "I feel the same way," she tells him adoringly. "Now what do you say we get a big pile of food on the way home and you can tell me the rest of your plans tonight."

"That sounds perfect," he agrees with a grin, following her out of the building with only a couple of glances back, still weighing various options for the space. He's going to do his absolute best to make it work, as quickly as possible.

He hasn't realized just how badly he missed training people until the possibilities were just out of reach for him. "Soon," he murmurs, shutting the car door for Alicia before crossing over to the driver's seat to find something good that she's craving.
