A/N I want to have them both separate, on the punishments. Charity's a narrow-gauge engine and Jessica's standard-gauge. Some of the ideas don't work with my canon timeline, but I'll use what fits. She has her 2nd fireman.

Charity woke up feeling okay after having nightmares last night, just then her driver and kind second fireman came in.

Charity said , "Good morning."

Her driver said, "Morning."

Her fireman said, "I see that you're feeling all right."

Charity said "As long you're both with me, times like last night when I woke up crying. I'm all right."

Her fireman said, "We got a surprise for you."

Charity asked, "What is it?"

Her driver said," Mr Percival wants us to tell you that you have a day off today."

The fireman said, "Except you had to go to your therapy."

Charity said, "Really? Wow, okay."

Her driver said, "Just letting you know that your fireman and I are going out."

Charity said, "Where are you two going?"

Her fireman said, "Well you're not going to like this but we're going to the court to see the judge."

Charity asked, "Why?"

Her driver said, "You might get nightmares again, but your abusive first fireman got arrested ten days ago and put in jail."

Charity was shaking of the shock and horror and started to break down in tears. She cried severely, wailing sobs with great tears coming as loud and hard as she could. Her face was wet with tears.

The driver and kind fireman came and wiped Charity's tears, with her fireman softly drying them with his hanky, rubbing her sodden cheeks and wiping her tear-wet eyes, then when it was drippy wet, her turned the comforting over to her driver, so he pulled out her cotton waffle hanky to wipe the tears streaming from her eyes.

Driver said, "It's okay, Charity. We'll both be okay."

The fireman said, "We'll make sure that cruel abusive fireman won't hurt you."

Charity said, "He'll come back for revenge, won't he?", her face all red and her eyes red and puffy from her cry, which stopped only when she had no more tears left.

Her fireman said, "He won't. They'll make sure that he doesn't escape from jail."

Her driver added, "We'll protect you from him."

Charity was happy that her driver and kind fireman are with her but still scared from her terrible past.

When Charity's driver and kind fireman came to the court, they discovered another engine, Jessica had been abused by her first driver and her abusive driver was on trial as well. It was 1:15 pm at the court, everyone, the judge, and also Jessica's kind driver and fireman along with Charity's driver and kind fireman were there. Just then the policemen and policewomen came in and brought Charity's abusive fireman and Jessica's abusive driver. The judge began to speak, then they talked about those two who abused two train engines, Charity and Jessica. Everyone agreed, even Jessica's kind driver and fireman and also Charity's driver and kind fireman. The judge asked if those two will be guilty or not. The crowd said guilty, then the judge agreed. The judge pronounced that Charity's abusive fireman and Jessica's abusive driver are now guilty. Charity's abusive fireman and Jessica's abusive driver are to be sent in jail for 40 years.

Hours passed and Charity had her therapy with Janie.

Janie asked, "Hi, Charity, are you okay?"

Charity said, " I'm fine but scared. My driver and kind fireman told me my abusive fireman won't attack me anymore now he's in jail." and began to cry, wailing sobs and she sniffled, long and loud.

Janie said, "Cry, Charity. Let whatever you feel fall from your eyes in a waterfall of tears if that's what you need."

Charity's driver climbed out of the cab and pulled out a cotton waffle cloth to dry her tears. "There, there, Charity. Go ahead and let it all out.". He gently rubbed her sodden cheeks and wiped her streaming eyes.

Charity cried some more, letting out another wailing sob as tears kept dripping and pouring from her eyes. She sniffled again, hard, coughed as she choked on her wailing sobs and hiccupped. She gasped and gulped, shaking as the torrents of tears gushed out of her eyes, not once stopping and let her driver comfort her.

He said, as he continued to wipe her tears away, "I'm here for you, to dry your eyes as long as they're watery.". He held the cloth to her endlessly weeping eyes and wiped all her tears away as best he could.

Charity wept non-stop, her tears flowing until she had no more left to shed. Her driver dried her last tears away, wiping them from her cheeks and eyes until they were dry, then went back to the cab with the sodden cloth. Her face was all red and so were her sore and swollen eyes, but she felt better. The session went on and she had a drink afterwards.

Charity went to her shed. She woke up crying, but her crew were there for her and her closest engine friend gave her a buffer press. She realized though she had nightmares from her past, her good friends were there for her to help her feel better.

A/N Dr. Tom won't be in the next chapter, the one with Jessica's driver, because it's before his time and he doesn't work on the Mainland. Charity came to Sodor when the Mainland was dieselizing, but Jessica came to Sodor much later, after years on a heritage railway. I don't have an age for Charity, but Jessica's a BR-built engine. That means Jessica was still on the Mainland when her driver was tried, but they could've been contemporaries. Charity's driver has what he considers her cotton waffle hanky, because it's just for her tears, so if she has a relief driver, then the relief driver has it. When he retires, he'll give her cotton waffle hanky at the time to her next driver. Charity has therapy with Janie and Jessica has her Mainland therapist.
