"That's it, Louis, come to Daddy," Adrien told Louis, kneeling down and holding his arms open. Louis gurgled happily, tottling step by step to his daddy. Then, flump! He went down on his bottom.

"Oh, are you okay, sweetie?" Marinette emerged from the bedroom for work, seeing her son's confused face. "Come here, little kitty," Adrien scooped up his son before Louis could cry. "Thanks for watching him, Adrien. Apparently the art department needs extra hands today and I volunteered." "Saving the day again, aren't you, Bugaboo?" Adrien leaned over, kissing her cheek. "Yeah," her eyes were a bit starry eyed as she blushed. "Just not in a suit or mask."

"Maybe this little one would like to be Cat Noir for the day. I'd be with him anyway." "I don't know…" Marinette bit her lip, then relented. "He can wear the ring for a half hour, no longer. And you have to bring the front pack…" "Bugaboo," Adrien said, gently. "And his bottle," "Bugaboo!" "Yes?" "Love, he'll be fine." "Sorry, just protective. You be good for Daddy, okay, Louis?" "Boo!" Louis exclaimed, then grew shy, hiding on Daddy's shoulder. Marinette laughed.

A good spot for hero training was the park and Adrien packed everything they needed, including a blanket and plenty of snacks.

Louis was delighted to crawl around the blanket on patrol. But then, "ahhh!" Louis begin to wail. But Adrien was prepared. Digging out Louis bottle, he quickly transformed himself, scooping up his crying child. "Here, little meow-meow. Time for bottle?" Louis sucked away happily, milk dribbling down his chin. Cat laughed, cleaning the mess then pressing a kiss to his son's forehead. Milk usually made Louis sleepy, but there was so many sights and smells. "Ready to be a kitty?" Cat asked, slipping off the ring and onto Louis. Louis could mostly babble, but Marinette had helped with his transformation words.

Then Louis sat there on his bottom, sucking on his leather tail. Adrien knew they needed a "mission", one that Louis could help with. Adrien's eyes looked around the park, with a small breeze came up, carrying the scent of cherries on some nearby trees. "Want to help Papa pick cherries so Mama can make a cherry pie?" "Lysm!" Louis squealed, and Adrien was grateful he wasn't able to say the full word yet.

When they got to the trees, Adrien had just the right job for Louis. "You stand guard, and look for signs of danger." Louis nodded seriously, then wrapped himself around his father's leg. Adrien chuckled. His son might be Cat Noir someday, hoping cracking jokes and telling puns, but for he was still quite shy.

"Mission accomplished!" Adrien said, a little later, knowing it was close to his son's nap time. Louis was now fast asleep, and Adrien tucked him into the stroller. Being Cat was a hard job, and now his little cat could use a nap.

Marinette was home when Adrien returned, and she smiled when Adrien carried in a sleeping Louis, still in his cat suit. "Hey, Princess, this kitty is ready for bed," Adrien whispered. "Your such a good daddy," she whispered, kissing him then headed down to the nursery.
