Bell and his party entered the 13th floor of the dungeon. Its ground was bedrock, and twists and turns seemed to branch off everywhere. The air seemed damp and moist. Yet it wasn't hot nor cold.

It was just normal.

"Alright, welcome to the middle floors," Bell said as he turned around. "Emma, can you tell me what monsters spawn on this floor?"

"Hellhounds, Al Mirages, Crystal Mantis's, Dungeon Worms, Bad Bats, and Hard Armored with the possibility of Wyverns if one is unlucky," Emma answered.

Bell gave her a small clap. "Good job, Emma, now, from here on out, stay close to each other. This will be like nothing we've ever faced before."

After Bell finished speaking, he moved his head out of the way as an Al Mirage flew past him. A makeshift axe in its hand.

Bell's hand snaked around his neck and, with a flick of his wrist, snapped it.

"Case in point. It tried a sneak attack."

Bell dropped the Al Mirage on the ground, and Lili carved into it, taking its monster stone out and watching as it disappeared into ash.

"Now, Welf, how many Al Mirages are normally in a group?"

"As little as three to as many as fifty." The boy answered.

"Correct, so get ready."

Bell drew his sword and shot forward like a bolt of lightning. Five Al Mirages laid dead around him, with five more charging the rest of the party.

"Those are yours."

Welf drew his greatsword and swung down, slicing an Al Mirage in half.

Karen thrusted her rapier forward and stabbed one in the head.

Lili thrusted her spear forward and stabbed one in the eye.

Emma slashed down and decapitated the last two.

Bell stood there with a proud smile on his face. "Good job."

Lili then got to work carving out the monster stones while Welf took a closer look at the Al Mirages.

"Hey, Bell, these rabbits kind of look like you."

Emma and Karen took a closer look and had to agree with Welf. Bell approached Welf and stood next to him.

"Why, because we have white hair and red eyes? That's like me saying Lili's a goblin because she's short."

"Hey!"

Welf laughed while Emma and Karen tried to stifle theirs. Small giggles leaving their lips as they failed. Lili mumbled as she carved the monster stones out.

"Heads up, Hellhounds," Bell said.

Two hellhounds stood on a ridge above the group. Their mouths opened, and fire was ready to shoot forth.

Welf's hand quickly shot up, and he chanted. "Will-O-Wisp."

The fire shot forward from the Hellhound's mouth but immediately went back in and blew up, causing their heads to pop.

"Good reaction time, Welf." Bell congratulated.

Bell jumped up to the small ridge and, grabbed the bodies, and brought them to the pile Lili had just finished working on.

Meanwhile, in Bell's mind, he was hoping things would continue to go well. But if they didn't, he was ready to fight like hell to make sure they all survived. He had taught everyone everything about the middle floors, including their layout.

Meaning if things went wrong, they would know the quickest escape route.

The Hellhound's bodies disappeared as Lili took out their monster stone, and the group was ready to move once more.

They moved in a diamond formation with Lili in the middle. Protecting her while also keeping an eye out in each direction, with Welf constantly looking behind him to make sure nothing snuck up on them.

They encountered a few monsters here and there, but not the overwhelming amount Bell had said they would. Leading Karen to ask a question.

"Bell, I mean no offense. But where are all the monsters you said would pop out? It appears to me we've just been picking off stragglers."

"That's because the dungeon's waiting for us to let our guard down. The second you do is when it'll strike. Trust me, Karen, enjoy the quiet while you can."

"Bell, how do you know so much about the dungeon? You've only been in the city for about four months." Emma asked.

Bell felt his heart hurt a tiny bit. But he pushed that pain down. "My Grandpa used to be an adventurer. He knew I wanted to come to Orario one day, so he prepared me as best he could."

"What familia was he a part of?" Welf asked.

Bell was silent for a minute as he sliced a dungeon worm in half before falling back into his lead position.

"I'll tell you all when we don't have the chance of running into anyone else. Back on the surface at home where I know the walls aren't thin."

Welf furrowed his brow at this answer, and this caused confusion with everyone else as well. It was just the name of a god or goddess. It shouldn't be that big of a deal.

But Lili had known Bell the longest out of them and knew he was a very private person when it came to his personal life.

But out of respect for Bell and his privacy, no one voiced any complaints about him keeping secrets. After all, everyone had them.

After killing a few more monsters here and there, the group ended up at the tops of some stairs leading into an open room that had a pitfall surrounded by rocks.

There were multiple hallways that branched off in either dead ends or other pathways deeper into the dungeon.

"Alright, looks like we reached a nice open room. More monsters should be showing up soon." Bell said as he descended the steps.

His party followed him and made their way deeper into the floor.

"Lili thinks this room is perfect for culling some monsters."

"I agree, we have the gorge to put back so we can't get snuck up on from behind. But that has the added bonus of us having our back to the metaphorical wall." Bell added.

"Well, as long as it's killing monsters, I'm good to go!" Welf cheered.

"Yes, I'd like to see how well I'd fare against horde." Karen hummed.

"You guys are way too relaxed for this!" Emma yelled.

Everyone laughed as roars of monsters sounded down the hallways.

"And let the party begin." Bell grinned.

"Bell Cranel has thrown an unnecessary wrench in our plans. He crippled our production of the vats and stopped our assassination attempt on the Gale."

"He's starting to become a thorn in our side, and with the rate he's growing, I believe he'll become more than just a mere thorn."

"We must get rid of him before he gets too strong. We need to nip this problem in the bud."

"And how do you suppose we deal with this problem? Assassinate him? That would bring questions, and people asking questions is something we don't need right now."

"But he still needs to die."

"Then how do you suggest we do this then, hmm?"

"We make his death look accidental. He bit off more than he could chew in the dungeon."

"Hmm, very well do it. Assign Jura to the job, he has a bone to pick with the Astraea familia. Especially since its rebirth. Oh, and no weapons. Doesn't scream accident if the boy is stabbed."

.

.

.

.

Bell ran forward, slicing through multiple Hellhounds. They all dropped dead as Bell spun on his heel and charged at a Hard Armored going for Karen.

He stabbed it in the back before dragging his blade down, making the cut wider. Bell kicked it down before stabbing another in the neck that was on Karen's left.

Karen thrusted her rapier into an Al Mirage's eye before quickly taking it out. Her hand shot out and grabbed one in the air before throwing it down and stabbing its monster stone.

Emma sliced through many Crystal Mantis's with Gekka and her other sword. Cutting them in half with sloppy precision yet killing them nonetheless.

Welf, on the other hand, was cutting through Hellhounds and Hard Armored's left and right with his Greatsword. Every monster that met his blade was sliced in half.

Lili stayed in the back and thrusted her spear into anything that got past the main group. Her golden and red spear killing Dungeon Worms and Al Mirages.

Once the battle was over, hundreds of dead monsters laid on the ground. When Bell turned around, he swore he could see the valis signs in Lili's eyes.

The group then put the monsters in a pile out of the way so Lili could work in peace while the group kept an eye out for more monsters.

"So Karen had your fill yet?" Bell teased.

Karen cleared her throat as she wiped the sweat from her brow. "I will admit my earlier question was stupid looking back on it."

"Yeah, there's way more monsters here than the upper floors," Emma added.

"It's like Bell said there would be." Welf deadpanned.

"Well, I didn't think he'd mean like a literal army!" Emma protested.

"If you think that's bad, wait til we go deeper." Bell chuckled.

Emma's face seemed to pale when hearing that. Like all, the wind had been sucked out of her sails, and her face dropped down.

"I'm about to be covered in so much blood." She muttered.

"Don't worry, it's purple, it'll go with your whole standing out there kind of look," Welf added.

"That doesn't comfort me!"

"Wasn't supposed to."

Emma pouted while Welf laughed. Karen gave the two a side eye but smirked nonetheless. Bell looked back at Lili and saw she was almost done.

"Hey Lili, how much longer do you think you'll be?" He asked.

"Just a few more minutes, Master Bell."

"Alright, good, after this, I think we should. Ah-

Pain shot through Bell's head as memories that weren't his own filled his vision.

He was fighting something that looked to be a black bony dog. It was fast and quickly made its way behind him, stabbing him through the stomach.

He persevered, however, and broke the claw before lighting himself on fire. He then stabbed the creature and exploded its shell before his vision filled with darkness.

Bell blinked, and he was back on floor 13. His party was looking at him worriedly as he had just screamed in pain for no reason.

"You alright, Bell?" Welf asked, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Bell nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just had the weirdest thing happen, though."

"What happened?" Emma worriedly asked as she and Karen approached, with Lili following.

"I'm not sure, all I remember is fighting this creature. But the weird thing is I had never seen anything like it."

"Was it an irregular?" Lili asked.

"I'm not sure. It was nothing I'd ever seen or heard of."

"Maybe Lady Astraea will know something about it. You should ask her when you get back." Karen said.

Bell pinched the bridge of his nose, feeling his headache going away. "Yeah, that's probably a good idea. Alright, let's get back to work."

The group worriedly looked at Bell, but the boy assured them he was fine. His headache was already gone.

"So what's the plan? We stay here, or do we move on?" Welf asked.

"Well, we've had good luck here so far. I don't see any need to move." Bell answered.

Before anyone else could say another word, multiple monster lures hit the party's armor and clothes. The essence of the lures quickly seeped in, staining them.

The dungeon seemed to roar as the ground shook and the walls cracked. The stairway they entered from was blocked by a massive horde of monsters.

"RUN!" Bell ordered.

The group immediately ran in another direction, with hundreds of monsters pouring out from each hallway. For some reason, the dungeon itself seemed angry at Bell and his party.

Or, more likely, the monsters were somehow corralled there.

The group kept running, cutting their way through monsters that were attracted to the scent of the monster lures. It stuck to them like wet on water.

"COME ON KEEP GOING!" Bell ordered.

He sliced the head off a Hellhound before kicking it away. His party was close behind him as Bell cleared a path. They could feel the overwhelming numbers behind them.

The group arrived at a bridge and saw hundreds of pairs of red eyes glowing in the darkness. They went to turn around but stopped seeing a wave of monsters coming.

Before they could organize a stand, the dungeon shook once more, and the bridge they were standing on collapsed beneath them, sending our group plummeting.

"Hmm, an unlikely circumstance. I'll send the disposables after them."

.

.

.

.

Bell's eyes opened as he looked up to the ceiling above him. It was so high up that he assumed he fell a few floors.

He quickly remembered what happened and pushed himself up. Scrambling to his feet, he looked around and saw the growing forms of his party.

But none seemed to be too badly hurt.

"Up! Get up now!" He yelled.

He walked over to Welf, grabbing his arm, and picking him up. Welf groaned in pain but stood as Bell helped Lili up next.

Karen and Emma pushed themselves up, and Bell took Lili's backpack off.

"Leave the pack, Lili it'll only slow you down!"

Lili didn't protest, throwing the backpack off her and grasping her spear. Bell took a Quick Look at his surroundings and noticed the walls were slightly more purple than before.

"Floor 15, we're on floor 15." He muttered.

"What!" Emma yelled.

"We fell two floors?" Karen asked. A small hint of fear in her voice.

"No wonder my back is hurting." Welf groaned.

"Alright, everyone, just stay calm. This is good. We head to floor 18 and wash off there. It's a safe zone, so no monsters spawn there." Bell said.

Karen let out a shaky breath, with Welf giving her a comforting pat on the back. Emma was filled with fear to the point it nearly paralyzed her.

But she knew Bell wouldn't let anything bad happen to her. He made a promise, after all.

"Alright, let's go we're wasting time!"

The group then broke out into a jog, running to the 18th floor in hopes of safety. The second they exited the cave they landed in, they were immediately set upon.

Hellhounds and Ligerfangs had caught their scent and were searching for them when they landed. But when the group exited the cave, they pounced.

"Don't fight! Just run!" Bell ordered.

The group followed his orders. Fighting would be a waste of energy if they'd just be set upon once more.

They reeked of monster lures.

The monsters grew more in number as they continued their journey. Hellhounds, Lygerfangs, and Minotaurs harassed their descent.

"Ah!" Lili screamed as a Hellhound jumped on her.

She quickly moved her arm up as its jaws bit down. Her armor began to creak and strain as the bite became stronger.

"Lili!" Bell yelled as he turned around.

He moved to intercept, but Welf was closer. He kicked the Hellhound in the face, causing the beast to fly off Lili.

"I got you little bit!"

He then grabbed her by her collar and tossed her. Karen caught her, and Welf was then punched in the chest by a Minotaur.

He slammed into a wall, causing it to indent and crack as he slid down. Bell's sword was already drawn as he shot forward and decapitated the Minotaur.

But the other monsters were only seconds away from catching up. Bell quickly devised a plan as he looked up to the ceiling. He hoped this would work.

"Gospel." He chanted.

A block of sound flew up to the ceiling. It was seconds away from impacting it.

"Lugio."

Gospel exploded in an Ignis Fatus, causing the ceiling to shatter and collapse down. Bell jumped back right as dozens of boulders blocked the path.

He let out a breath as he turned around, seeing Welf push himself out the wall. He was wheezing, and the back of his head was bleeding.

But he still stood.

"Let's go...we don't have...much time." He wheezed.

Welf took a step forward and fell to his knees. His breathing growing more labored. Bell quickly reached into his pouch and poured the potion down Welf's mouth.

It seemed to heal him, but only slightly. The bleeding stopped, as well as the wheezing. But Bell could tell he was still in a lot of pain.

"You should've...saved that." He panted.

"You needed it more than me. Can you walk?" Bell asked.

Welf nodded and winced. "Yeah, I can walk."

"Lili, how are you holding up?"

Karen set her down. "Fine Master Bell. The armor saved my arm."

"Thank Welf later, we need to move again. That side might be blocked off, but they can still come from anywhere."

The party then began moving again. Although a bit slower because of Welf's injuries. They didn't know how long they walked for. It could've been minutes or many hours. But they were moving slowly.

Emma was helping Welf walk, and it was him that was slowing the group down. He knew it, and they knew it.

"Up ahead," Karen said.

In front of the group were three Minotaurs. All holding landform axes, sniffing the air before their eyes landed on Bell and Co.

"Wait here." The boy ordered.

He placed his hand on the handle of his sword. He took a deep breath before shooting forward. His sword was already drawn as the first Minotaur lost its arms.

Bell stopped and spun on his heel as he drove his blade into the second Minotaur's back. He pierced the monster stone, causing the Minotaur to turn to ashes.

Bell ducked under a slash from the third's axe before slicing that hand off and stabbing it in the throat. It choked on its own blood before dropping dead.

Bell then turned his attention to the first one, that was screaming. He quickly cut its head off, ending the problem.

"Come, let's move. We're almost to the 16th floor." He said.

More time passed as they descended down into the 16th floor. Welf let out a cough as Emma kept him steady.

"Leave me." He wheezed out.

Bell stopped in his tracks and turned around as Emma looked wide-eyed at Welf. Karen and Lili were stunned into silence.

"Don't look at me like that. We all know I'm slowing everyone down. Use me as bait and get yourself out of here." He said.

The area was silent for only a second before Bell answered.

"No, and if you say something stupid like that again, I'll kick your ass back on the surface."

His tone didn't leave any room for discussion. But Welf retorted anyway.

"Bell, my life isn't worth all of yours. Leave me right here, and the monsters chasing us will be too busy eating me to care about you."

"I don't care, I made a promise to all of you to keep this party safe. I can't exactly do that if I leave you to die. Now shut up, and let's go. I'll get you all out of this. Even if I have to carry all of you at once."

His tone again left no room for argument, and this time, Welf stayed silent. They continued their death march down to the 18th floor.

Bell dispatched any monsters that were in front of them. Karen guarded the rear to make sure nothing snuck up on them.

However, once they entered a bigger room, more monsters attacked. The group hobbled along, praying that no monsters would grab them.

But a scream from the back dashed those hopes. Hellhounds and Lygerfangs descended on Karen, knocking her down.

A Hellhound bit her leg, but its teeth met metal. The same happened with her arm. She was being pulled in two different directions as a Lygerfang kicked her in the stomach.

Bell quickly ran forward to save her.

"Gospel." He chanted.

The monsters went flying back as Bell wrapped an arm around Emma's waist and threw her over his shoulder.

He felt something charging on his left and swung his sword without looking. But he could've sworn he saw the rotting face of a person out of the corner of his eye.

But that thought was quickly pushed out of his mind as his group descended into the 17th floor.

"Gospel!"

His spell flew to the ceiling above the stairs.

"Lugio."

Again, another Ignis Fatus exploded the ceiling above, blocking the path behind them. Bell set Karen down and propped her against a wall.

"Hey, you alright?" He softly asked.

Karen whimpered in pain as her leg touched the ground. Bell quickly lifted her back up and held her so her leg didn't have any weight on it.

He looked down and saw her left greave caved in and bent. Her leg had been broken, most likely from the Hellhound yanking her.

"Ok Karen, bad news. Your leg is broken, and I'll need to set the break. However, we don't have time for that right now as more monsters will be here any second-

"Don't leave me!" She pleaded.

"Hey, hey, hey, I'm not going to leave you. You'll just have to wait til we reach floor 18 for me to set. I'll carry you from here on out. Lili, how are you holding up?"

"Lili feels useless not being able to carry anyone because of her height."

"You're useful in other ways besides carrying. Just make sure nothing sneaks up behind us."

Lili nodded before moving to the back. Her eyes and spear at the ready.

"Alright, Karen, get ready. 1,2,3."

He lifted Karen up, and she wrapped her arms around his neck. Bell hand his hands under her legs as he carried her.

"Final stretch, everyone, after this, we're home free," Bell said.

This seemed to rouse everyone's spirits a little as they continued marching on. However, no amount of morale-boosting could wave off the exhaustion the group felt.

Both mentally and physically, they were running out of steam. Their actions seemed to grow repetitive as it was run and fight. Run and fight for hours on end.

Nobody knew what time it was either, so that also messed with their minds. Had they been down here a few hours or a few days?

Nobody knew.

"Hey, Lili, when was the Goliath last killed?" Welf asked.

"During the Loki familia expedition. Though that was nearly a month ago."

"So we'll just make it then." Welf chuckled.

"If Lili's calculations are correct, then yes."

"If not, we run like hell." Bell joked.

"Nah, I prefer walking," Welf added.

"I'll crawl."

"I'll slide."

"How are you going to do that without motion first?"

"Don't care for the details." Welf coughed.

The group chuckled once more. Thankful for this respite they were given. The only thing they all thought of was finding a source of water and getting rid of the monster lure smell.

But they remembered it wouldn't be long until they reached the 18th floor, where promised safety lay.

After around half an hour later. With hide nor hair of monsters, the thankful group arrived at the Wall of Lamination.

Where the Goliath spawned.

"We're in the home stretch now. Just past this wall is safety." Bell explained.

"That wall looks terrifying," Welf said.

"I'll say," Lili added.

"But it's so pretty." Emma cooed.

Karen didn't say much as she was going in and out of consciousness as her adrenaline was wearing off, and her exhausted body was catching up to her.

Bell noticed this and softly spoke. "Don't fall asleep just yet. We're almost to the finish line."

Karen weakly nodded as Bell adjusted her so he could have a better grip. The roars of more monsters reached their ears from behind them. It seemed the dungeon had run out of mercy.

"Alright, let's go, no matter what, don't stop," Bell ordered.

The group began their march to the entrance of the 18th floor. Hobbling as fast as they could, safety getting ever closer.

But the dungeon really had run out of mercy as the Wall of Lamination began to crack, and the floor shook.

"Shit, move now!" Bell yelled.

The rest of the group picked up their pace as rocks fell all around them. Bell could see the outline of the Goliath spawning as he moved ever closer to the 18th floor.

100 feet, 75 feet, 50 feet, 25 feet.

The Goliath broke through the wall right as Bell and his party made it to the entrance. The Goliath swung its massive fist at the party but missed as they jumped down right as the fist impacted above them.

.

.

.

.

The group landed on floor 18 after their tumble down from floor 17. Welf had landed protectively over Emma, with Bell doing the same with Karen, who was whimpering in pain again.

She had landed on her leg, causing it to shoot pain through her. Lili was quick to her feet, her spear at the ready. But all she was greenery and trees.

They had made it.

Bell quickly got off Karen and took her left greave off, seeing her bone pushing against the skin. He looked back to her face and saw tears welling up in her eyes.

"Alright, Karen, I'm not going to lie to you. This is going to hurt. A lot, but only for a second, ok."

Karen sniffled and nodded as Welf hobbled over and kneeled next to Karen.

"Here, squeeze my hand." He offered.

Karen quickly took Welf's hand as Emma and Lili kept watch. Bell placed his hand on the break as she started breathing quickly.

"Alright, Karen, on the count of three. One, two-

Bell didn't say three as he set the break back in place, causing Karen to scream in pain before Bell quickly handed her a potion. She was quick to drink it, feeling her leg heal and the pain dull.

"How many of those things do you have left?" Welf asked.

"Only one," Bell responded as Karen's eyes closed.

Her breathing slowed down, and she took a deep breath before opening her eyes again.

"Thank you." She said.

"No problem, but we really need to clean our clothes. Do you think you can walk?" Bell asked.

Karen shook her head. "My leg still hurts, so I don't think so."

"Alright, then I'll just carry you to a stream. There should be one close by." Bell said.

He again picked Karen up by her waist so her leg wouldn't touch the ground and maneuvered her to where she'd be on his back. Her arms snaked around his neck as Bell made sure she was secure.

"You good to walk on your own, Welf?" Emma asked.

Welf nodded. "I should be fine now. My chest doesn't feel as tight, and I don't feel as dizzy. Thanks for the help."

The group then started their search for a pond or a stream. Or any body of water to where they could wash off the stench of the monster lures.

They walked for a few minutes, with everyone taking in the sights and scenery around them. Lush and lavish green fields with trees that grew fruit.

Fake sunlight that shined across the floor thanks to the crystals above. The stories Bell heard of this place didn't compare to seeing it firsthand.

He wondered if the old man would be proud of him right now. His mind then wandered to Anya, and he thought of how worried she'd be once she found out what had happened.

"Huh, odd, I'm thinking of her. Why?" Bell wondered.

Eventually, after a few more minutes of searching, the group did find a pond that looked like a godsend. Fresh drinking water and a place to get rid of the monster lure stench.

Bell set Karen down at the edge of the pond before he stood up and spoke.

"Alright, we need to get this stench off as quickly as possible. It's stuck to our clothes and our skin. Meaning we're all about to get real comfortable with each other. No time for modesty or shame. It's life and death. Karen, one of the girls, will help you."

Nobody made any protests. Because no matter how embarrassing it was going to be being naked around each other. The alternative was most likely death or being eaten alive.

Both didn't end well.

So, wanting to get this over as quickly as possible, the group took off their armor and their clothes before jumping into the water. Emma helped Karen with her clothes as Bell and Welf quickly ran water over their skin.

Emma and Lili jumped in next, helping Karen into the water and having her sit down. Everyone had their backs to each other, but everyone still got an eyeful beforehand.

Ignoring the embarrassing situation, the next thing to be washed off was their clothes and armor. Dunking them in the water and watching as the blood from the lure washed off into the pond.

It was rinse and repeat for the rest of the clothes. However, they ran into another problem after washing their clothes.

They were soaking wet, and air drying them would take forever. Bell pushed that thought to the back of his mind as he hopped out of the pond and grabbed some kindling and wood.

It was easy for him to start a fire, thanks to his fire magic. Which then led him to feel like an idiot for not using the fire magic to dry the clothes off in the first place.

But once the clothes were finally dried off, night came on the floor, which led to Bell lighting a campfire for the group to stay warm.

Emma and Welf collected some food while Karen, Lili, and Bell tended to the fire. Once Welf and Emma returned, the group ate the very sweet fruit and drank the water from the pond.

The freshwater felt good on their dried throats. They finally felt themselves relax after surviving their death march down to floor 18.

"You girls get some sleep. Welf and I will keep watch." Bell ordered.

"Bell, I can keep watch, I didn't do much to help on our way down here," Emma said.

"Course you did; you carried all six feet, 165 pounds of me for hours. If anyone didn't do anything, it's me." Welf said.

Bell gave Emma a smile. It was a tired one, but a smile nonetheless. "Get some sleep, Emma. You've had a rough day. We'll make sure the bed bugs don't bite."

Emma looked worriedly at the two but laid her head down on the grass and soon fell asleep. Her body more exhausted than she thought.

Karen had already fallen asleep with her propped up on Bell's salamander wool cloak, just in case. Lili slept between the two girls, holding her spear to her chest.

"So, think anyone is coming for us?" Welf asked.

"They are, all we have to do is wait," Bell responded.

"And how are you so sure?"

"Because I made a promise to have dinner with my goddess every night unless I was incapacitated or would be in the dungeon for a few days."

"And that means we're saved how?"

"Well, we weren't supposed to be down here for a day, so I missed dinner," Bell smirked.

Another chapter comes and goes with our motley crew growing real comfortable with each other for the sake of survival. The death march down to floor 18 was very taxing on our heroes, but let's see how the ones on the surface react.

Anyway, that's it for now, and I'll see you later. Mostly because I'm really tired.
