The couple began packing up for the long weekends ahead. Between the experience and the first race of the season. Lightning walked over to their dresser and grabbed out some shirts. Sally looked over and asked, "Would you grab me a couple of your shirts to sleep in?" "Sure. Hey, here's an idea. Why don't you just buy a few men's shirts for yourself to sleep in?" He suggested. Sally stared a moment. Watching Lightning grab a handful of shirts and walk over to the bed where they were packing. Sally grabbed a few of those shirts to pack into her suitcase, then answered, "Because I like yours." "Why?" Lightning chuckled. Sally shrugged, "I just sleep better in your shirts, okay?" Lightning snickered and rolled his eyes at her before going to grab more clothes to pack. Knock, knock, knock. Both Sally and Lightning stared out of the room. Sally asked, "You expecting anyone?" Lightning answered, "No." As he walked out to go answer the door.

Sally continued to pack up things. Jewelry, make-up, clothes, etc. She could hear Mater's voice from across the house. She smiled as she packed. Mater was a dear and close friend. Especially ever since he saved Lightning's life. Although, the more Sally thought about the events, the angrier it made her. Miles setting up the entire event just to wreck drivers. Miles was up for trial this week too. She wondered how long he would get. May not be much on endangerment, but for the attempt to murder Lightning McQueen. Sally hoped he was in prison for the rest of his life! Lightning walked back in and announced, "Mater will be coming along. Hope that's okay?" Sally nodded, "Of course! Long as he doesn't get into too much trouble." "He'll be fine." Lightning assured. He then walked over to the dresser then noticed a little sparkly, white material. He pulled it out of the drawer and held it up, asking, "Now what is this?" He asked with the biggest and probably goofiest smile he ever had.

Sally looked over and her eyes widened and she blushed! "You were not supposed to see that yet!" Staring at him holding up the white sheer thong with little spots of what looked like glitter on it, it had a ruffled top to it even. Sally walked over and reached to grab it, but Lightning wouldn't let her. "Yet? What's yet mean?" Sally tried grabbing it again, but Lightning was playing keep away, holding behind his back. "Just yet." Sally answered firmly. Lightning scoffed at that, "As the man of this household, I forbid any lingerie to be in this house that I don't approve of." Sally glared at him and asked, "Oh so you disdisapproveLightning shrugged answering, "I have to see it on the model first." Flirting with her. Sally pushed him back, pushing his backside against the dresser. She held out her hand between their chests then asked, "May I have my thong now?" Lightning glanced at her palm then asked, "Can we take it with us?" Sally stared into his eyes in deep thought. Debating if she wanted to take it. "If I take that thing, you know what is going to happen, right?" Lightning quietly answered, "Well, yeah, that's kind of the idea." He smiled.

Sally flexed her fingers, motioning for him to give it up. He sighed and finally placed the thing in her hand. Sally thanked him then placed the new thong back into the dresser. Lightning seemed disappointed and it looked cute. Sally shut the drawer and assured, "Don't look so disappointed. You will get to see it on me evantually." "Well, now you're just teasing me." He growled. Sally walked back to the bed and zipped up her suitcase as she asked, "What makes you think I haven't ahaven'tpacked something like that to wear for you?" Lightning stared at her. Now THAT was teasing him. Noticeably to. Sally giggled and looked him up and down before saying "You better stop thinking about it before that thing gets to out oftooontrol." Lightning glanced down at his mild erection then back up as Sally and scolded. "You did this. You mentioned it." "You took that out of the dresser!" "You bought it and knew exactly what it would do." "Oh no. You are not blaming me for your dirty little mind." She giggled.

Lightning glared at her a moment before walking over and grabbing her arm, leaning in to whisper in her ear, "This is your first and only warning. Once we head out those doors and start our trip, I am going to fuck you every chance I get. Relentlessly, every day, every oppurtunity I get, I'm taking it. And I'm going to make sure you cum every single time, I'm going to make you beg for mercy and more at the same time.. And then, once I am finished with that.. I am going to make love to you. Sweet, soft, gentle love and leave no inch of skin on you untouched. Does that sound nice?" He asked. Sally swallowed loudly before answering, "It sounds like something.." "If you couldn't handle it, you shouldn't have woken the beast." "The beast? Is that what we're calling it now?" "I don't give a dam what we call it, you're getting it." Lightning growled. Sally giggled replying "Okay than."

Lightning's expression changed. He tried not to smile, but he could not help it as he chuckled. "That's it. I was trying to be sexy, but then you go and ruin the moment." he scoffed. Sally laughed and apologized. "I'm sorry! It was sexy, you were sexy. I couldn't help myself." Lightning rolled his eyes dramatically then lifted Sally's chin and pressed his lips to hers. Kissing her softly with such love. This moment, at this moment.. They were so madly in love, so comfortable with each other. Unbreakable and probably the strongest they ever had been and ever would be throughout their entire relationship and marriage. And maybe, just maybe.. If they could somehow harness this strength to last until their deaths, they would have been able to make it through some harder times with ease...

Now since it was so far away, The gang had to stay overnight in the trailer at a truck stop. Mack was dead asleep in the truck, Mater had a sleeping bag on the floor, and Lightning and Sally slept on the small pull-out couch. It was so quiet in the trailer. You could hear it creak with every movement. Sally glanced over at Lightning and noticed his eyes were open. "You okay?" She whispered. Lightning turned and looked at her before answering, "Yeah. It's good that I get back to work, right?" He asked. Sally thought a moment. Why would he ask that? This was Lightning and he loved racing. It's who he was. Sally sighed, "Well.. I think so." Lightning nodded.

Staring up at the ceiling of galaxy lights. They turned them on by Mater's request of being too afraid of the dark. Sally stared up at the lights. Changing colors from red and blue and green. "One day, you will have to stop." Sally reminded. Lightning nodded. "Not yet, but yeah, I know. I'll retire when my time is done." "What? Like when you're dead?" "What? No." Lightning chuckled then corrected, "I'll retire when it's obvious my time racing is coming to a close." "It almost did though.. You almost"-"I know, okay? But I didn't." Lightning growled. Then they both heard Mater shuffle around on the floor. Lightning thought about the Grand Prix, how it had messed them up. "Sal." He began. "Let's promise to never bring up what happened in the World Grand Prix again. I think if we want to move on, we have to stop bringing it up. I know. I almost died, you almost died, A lot of our friends could have been killed, Sal.. It hurts to think about it, so.. Maybe we.. Don't.." Sally stared a moment.

Talking helped. OR so she thought. She nodded. FOr him. For him, she would do anything. LIghtning smiled then leaned closer in and kissed her velvet lips quietly. Mater shuffled around on the floor and made the trailer creak. Lightning sighed and admitted, "If we were alone, I'd fuck you." Sally scoffed, "Sure didn't stop you in Italy." "I don't know what I was thinking." He replied. Sally kissed him. Really kissed him! Gazing into his eyes with such a sexy, seductive, beautiful gaze. She was amazing. SHe made Lightning's world freeze and revolve around her in a good way. If he was doing one thing right in his life, it was marrying her. Lightning smiled and caressed the side of her face with his hand. "Don't ever leave me." He pleaded. Sally raised a brow and asked, "Why would I?" "Because I'm a jerk. I'm an idiot and I say and do stupid things a lot of the time.." "Well, we can agree with that." Lightning snickered. "I can't see myself without you, Sal." "I can't see mtself without you." She assured. Lightnimyselfn cuddled up with his future wife. Kissing her once more before they drifted to sleep. A good night's sleep...

The gang walked through the garage area of the track of Charlotte. Making their way to the track to prepare for the experience run. There were some officials, security, the firemen, and EMTs. Always, just in case. But as they approached they saw another driver was here for the run. Cal. Cal and Meg were ahead and talking to Tex. Lightning was a little nervous. Feeling like Cal may have still been pissed at him after how they had been talking to each other last season. Cal saw Lightning and instantly asked Tex, "What is he doing here?" Tex saw Lightning and Sally and smiled. "Lightnin! Happy to see my favorite racer!" He went up and hugged Lightning then turned to Sally and his eyes widened.

"Red hair? I love it. You can pull it off nicely." Tex complimented. Sally smiled and thanked the man. He hugged her gently then added, "Congratulations you two. I'm happy to see such a fine, young couple take the next step. You know, Sally reminds me a lot of my third wife. Now she was all business. Even in the bedroom." Tex laughed and nudged LIghtning. Lightning just nodded awkwardly. Tex then turned to Cal and explained. "I wanted two racers for the run. Have a few people lined up to ride with you two. I wanted the best. And you two, are the best." Cal glared at Lightning which let Lightning know that yes, Cal was a little mad still.

"Awe, cheer up Cal. Lightnin is just popular." Tex assured. Cal sighed, still glaring, and replied. "Yeah.. He usually is the one trending.." Lightning frowned a bit. Cal must have been going through a lot right now. Mater then jumped between the two racers and asked "HEY! Can I get a picture of us three together!?" Grabbing Cal and Lightning and squishing them in close! Tex smiled and shouted "Great Idea, Mater! Heck, without you, young man, There may not have been a Lightning McQueen to return this season." Lightning glanced at Sally who shrugged. Lightning and Cal smiled fake for the photo then Mater shot off next to Sally.

Cal adjusted his jacket while Lightning apologized, "Cal, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to intrude before about"-"Well you did!" Cal snapped. Lightning stared at his friend. He overstepped before. Badly. Cal closed his eyes and took a deep breath before replying, "Let's just get through this as friends.." Lightning wasn't sure what Cal meant by as friends. Were they not friends anymore? Tex then commented that, "Sure is a good thing that Rusty and Dusty pushed for you to run in the experience." Lightning raised a brow and asked, "Wait, they pushed for this?" Tex nodded answering, "They sure did. Something about giving you time to meet Olivia." "Olivia?" Lightning questioned. Tex didn't have an answer for that though...

While the boys posed for pictures, ran the experience, talked, and laughed with fans, Sally and Meg stood in the background. Just watching for the most part. Meg stared at Sally. Over and over, Meg would stare at her. Sally finally asked, "Is it the hair?" "It's the hair." Meg answered. Sally sighed. Meg then asked "Why did you dye it? You had the most beautiful hair of any racer's wife! You know women fry their hair to have what you had." "I know.." Sally whined. Meg had to ask though, "Was it Lightning? Did he ask you to look like Josie?" Sally's eyes widened. She never even thought about that! "I do look like her, don't I!?" Sally asked in a panic.

Meg shook her head and realized she made a mistake there. "What-no. No, Josie has way lighter skin and freckles and green eyes. I think..." Sally face palmed herself then asked, "Is it bad? Be honest with me Meg." Meg stared a moment before answering, "No, it's not bad. It's not your color, but it's not bad... A redder would look better. You have splotches of yellow and orange.. You did it yourself, didn't you?" Sally whined and nodded. Meg sighed. "Oh, Sally.. You knew better than that. Seriously, why did you do it?" "I just wanted to be different. I'm tired of being boring.." "Did Lightning call you boring?" "Well, no.." "Good. Because you are far from boring Sally.." Meg assured as she stared at her friend's hair. Sally hated her hair more and more by the second. Especially knowing that it made Meg think of Josie. Now she knew that THAT was who Lightning thought of when he asked her if she were trying to look like someone.

It was Josie for sure. Cal walked over and Meg grabbed his arm and took him aside. The couple instantly began arguing quietly about something. Sally stared at them a second or two before Lightning walked over. "Hey." He smiled. Sally smiled back and asked, "All done?" Lightning nodded, answering, "Yeah, for now. We have to do another run tomorrow, but I'm yours for the rest of the evening." IT was already pushing four o clock. Sally adjusted Lightning's jacket as she replied, "I do like the sound of that." "Good. Where's Mater?' Asked the racer. Sally looked back towards the garages. "Back at the trailer. Said something about a restroom emergency." She answered. Lightning raised a brow and reminded, "We don't have a bathroom in the trailer."

They stared at each other a moment, but before they could say anything more, Cal and Meg walked up and Cal asked, "Would you two like to.. Would you two let us treat you to dinner? For the engagement?" Lightning looked to Sally for an answer. Sally had the choice. Go to dinner with their friends or go to the motel and get the hell fucked out of her. Sally glanced at Lightning. Honestly, just staring at him made her are pulse with excitement. "Dinner sounds great." She answered. Meg replied, "Great! We'll call you guys with details shortly. See you two soon." Meg said with a wave. Mater suddenly ran up and asked, "Are we going to dinner?' Sally and Lightning stared at each other a moment before Lightning answered, "I think you are going to keep Mack company." "Oh, okay.." Mater then added, "Hey, don't you worry. It's just us and Cal. It's going to be boring for you. But tomorrow we can go to breakfast?" Lightning felt like they were pushing Mater away.. Just like he had in Japan.

"No, come along. Cal and Meg said it's for our engagement. Mater is my best friend. They shouldn't mind." Sally was surprised but didn't fuss about it at all. Mater smiled with excitement. "Awesome! I'll behave. Don't you worry McQueen." "I wasn't, but now I am." Lightning admitted. Sally snickered. Then a tiny, tall, dark brown-haired woman with a clipboard walked up to Lightning and asked, "This is rhetorical, but are you, Lightning McQueen?" Lightning, Sally, and Mater stared at her. Lightning nodded, "Yes." "I just needed that confirmation. Hi, I'm Olivia Greene. I'll be your sponsor temporarily." "What?! What happened to Rusty and Dusty?" He asked. Olivia smiled, answering, "No worries. They are just out with the flu. Rusty is in the hospital, Dusty is there with him. But They are letting me run the show a bit. That's why I called your agent and got you in the run." "Oh.. Okay." "I wanted to meet you and take this opportunity to really make you top dog out here."

Lightning couldn't help but chuckle at that. "Sorry, Sorry." He apologized. "But I'm already top dog of the racing community." "Sure you are." Olivia replied. Almost as if she didn't believe him. Or she did. Her tone was hard to read. "Be here bright and early Mr. McQueen. And I already placed you in a motel for the night. I have a women's jacket being delivered there later. Sally, Miranda told me to have you wear it." "Why?" Sally asked. Olivia shrugged, answering, "Something about supporting the brand." Lightning snickered and asked, "Brand? What brand?" Olivia raised a brow and asked, "Are you serious?" Lightning stared cluelessly.

Olivia sighed and explained. "The brand, Lightning McQueen. You are selling everywhere." "I'm not a brand." "You are. Enjoy it while your trending. See you tomorrow Mr. McQueen." Olivia said before walking away. Sally then reminded, "You were selling big in Japan. Maybe it's a good thing." Lightning shrugged, replying, "Sounds like a get rich quick scheme.. I don't like it." "Hey, there is nothing wrong with becoming rich beyond your wildest dreams." Lightning raised a brow as he stared at his girl. "You are only marrying me for the money, aren't you?" Sally snickered and played along with "You got me. I only want your riches, Mr. McQueen." "I knew you were too good to be true." He joked.

Sally giggled then Lightning pulled her close by the hips. Kissing her softly on the lips. "Hey.." He began, "This means we have a few hours before dinner too.. You know?" "I do, but.. I think it'll be more fun to wait until after dinner." "Not gonna happen sweetheart." Lightning growled then he leaned into her ear and added, "You are not getting away from me that easily.." Sally closed her eyes and swallowed nervously with anxiety in a good way. She was sort of looking forward to this...

The couple walked into their hotel room. Sally began taking off her shoes and preparing to relax. Lightning stretched and let out a yawn. "I am glad to be done with all of that." Sally agreed then warned, "Don't get too comfortable. We have to get ready for dinner soon." Lightning walked up behind his girl and suddenly picked her up into his arms. Sally laughed and asked, "What are you doing!?" Lightning smiled as he carried her into the bedroom, tossing her onto the bed then jumping-leaping onto the bed over her!

Sally never laughed so hard and so cute. Lightning gazed down at her. At her wide smile, blushing cheeks, and watering eyes. "I warned you, every chance I get Miss Sally." Sally smiled and laughed a little more but then her laughter turned to a yelp-like whimper. Lightning stared down at her with confusion. "What's wrong? Am I hurting you?" He asked as he looked between them to see if he had set his knee on her somewhere. Tears rolled down Sally's cheeks as she shook her head and answered, "I don't want to lose you. Ever. I love you. I love you so much." Lightning snickered and kissed her lips. Kissing her lips softly and yet forcefully. Letting her know that he was very much alive, very much here, and very much hers...

Lightning, Sally, and Mater all sat down at the table with Cal and Meg. The friends all ordered drinks and their meals and chatted. Cal asking "How was it in Japan and Italy? The trip. Besides, uh.. England.." Lightning snickered, "Japan was different. I never realized I had fans in other countries like that. Countries where I don't even know how to say my name in their language." He chuckled. Meg smiled then asked "How about Francesco Bernoulli? I'll bet he was fun to meet." Sally blushed. Lightning noticed. He really noticed. Sally sighed and looked to Lightning, saying, "I think Lightning can answer this one."

Lightning grabbed his glass and replied, "No, you go ahead. You did spend an entire day with the guy." He reminded. Sally cleared her throat and loosened her neck. She wished she didn't. She wished she could forget about that. Meg became very curious about that though. "You did? Really?" Cal then asked, "Where were you?" To Lightning. Lightning swallowed before answering, "Practicing. Getting ready for the race." Meg continued with, "So what is he like? The famous and attractive Italian racer." cal glared at his wife. Sally smiled nervously and began, "Well, he's.. Not that different from any other racer.. He's.. Nice and.. Cool.. He likes kids, which was sweet. Um.. I got to see where he grew up a little. Much poorer than you would think. Especially since his Mother was a race car driver too."

Meg nodded then asked Lightning, "How did you do it? How did you pop the question?" Lightning and Sally glanced at each other. Mate then asked the table, "Is there a bathroom here for the public?" Cal pointed towards it and said, "That way." "Thanks." Mater replied then took off. Sally then answered Meg's question for Lightning. "We went out to dinner to this lovely place in Italy and.. And he just.. Asked." Meg raised a brow and asked, "Just asked? That's.. That's it? Cal gave Meg a look and reminded her how he asked. Meg nodded and dropped it. Cal then ate and asked, "How was it racing alongside drivers with different backgrounds and styles?" Lightning sighed, "Well, it was an experience. I enjoyed it though. It was kind of fun to be able to race against some.. Some serious rivals. Not to talk down our work, but.. Indy and Formula and Le mans and Rally, its'.. It was a little intimidating, I won't lie."

Cal smiled and nodded, replying, "Oh yeah, I bet." It fell quiet. Lightning even looked back towards the restroom and wondered why Mater was taking so long. Sally then broke the silence and asked, "So are you two?... Okay?" Cal and Meg stared at their friend, at their friends. Cal looked to his wife. Giving her the choice of talking to them. Meg placed her hand on cal's then took a deep breath and answered, "Cal and I were trying.. For a baby. And now, we're not. That's it. And.. I would like to drop the subject and never talk about it again. Okay?" She asked then sipped her drink. It was a little awkward. Lightning just put some food in his mouth. Sally sipped her drink. Mater finally came back and sat down. He noticed everyone was being a little weird. "Everything okay?" Mater asked.

Lightning nodded. Everyone kind of ate quietly. Quietly and awkwardly. Lightning ate some of his food then commented. "Funny that Bobby is doing the exact oppotsite of you two." Sally quickly scolded, "Lightning.. No." Cal stared at Lightning. ToppositeCal thought about that. The opposite of what they were? They were trying to have a baby. The opposite would be.. Would be getting rid of one. Cal blurted out, "IS Jesse pregnant?" Meg froze and stared at Lightning. Sally sighed and looked away. Cal's jaw dropped. "Jesse is pregnant... Isn't she?" he asked. Lightning nodded, adding. "They are getting an abortion.. Bobby talked to me."

Sally then admitted "Jesse and I talked.. She seems to think that.. This si the best thing for them." Meg scoffed rudely. Mater raised a brow and asked "Wait? Whois getting an abortion now?" Meg shook her head and became furious. "What is wrong with that couple. Bobby has always been a disgusting man, but Jesse. Jesse seemed normal. I mean sure, she's wild and impulsive and a bitch and likes her way or no way and she's blunt, but what a fucking bitch. How dare she kill a baby. An innocent baby. You two told them not to, right?" Sally and Lightning looked at each other before Lightning gave his opinion, "Um.. I think this is really up to Bobby and Jesse.."

Sally swallowed nervously then added, "I tried talking to Jesse. Telling her other-wise, but.. She seems stuck on it.." Meg threw her napkin on the table, took out heotherwiseen stood up and stomped out of the dining area. Cal sighed and apologized, "I'm sorry.. She's a bit.. Sensitive right now.." They all sit there quietly. They can even hear Meg going off at Jesse over the phone. Cal rubbed his hands over his eyes. Sally leaned back and cleared her throat, "I think we should go.." Lightning sighed and agreed. Cal apologized again. Lightning assured him that it was fine, then told Mater to come along and left to go back to the motel...

Lightning and Sally barely made it to the door of the motel when Sally's phone began ringing. She looked up at Lightning and announced, "It's Jess..." Lightning sighed and opened their door. "Bout to be hell.." He griped as they walked in. Sally put the phone to her ear and answered, "Hey Jess..."

You guys told the Weathers!?

"Jesse.. It wasn't exactly that.."

Really!? Because Meg says that Lightning told them we were getting an abortion!

"You are though.. Aren't you?..."

That is not the point and if you were my friend at all than you would never have let him do that! How can you even be with a man so rude and heartless!?

Lightning then walked over and grabbed the phone, putting it on speakerphone and setting it on the coffee table. "You got something to say to me?" he asked.

Jesse answered, "Yeah! How dare you tell Cal and Meg about our situation!" "I didn't just tell them! Cal guessed." "And you didn't think that maybe you should have kept your dam mouth shut! Now I have Meg calling me and screaming at me about what a bitch I am and horrible Mother!" Sally stepped in and said, "We didn't mean to cause any problems.. I.. Lightning didn't think when he commented." "BET!?" Shouted Jesse. Then Bobby snarled "What the hell were you thinking Lightning?!" Lightning answered, "I wasn't!"

Jesse once again yelled, "Fuck you, Lightning! I can not believe this!" Bobby then told Jesse to calm down and suddenly the phone cut out. Jesse or Bobby hung up. Sally let out a deep breath. She looked up at Lightning and said, "This is bad Lightning.. We should never have said a thing. You shouldn't have even made that comment about them to Cal.." Lightning sighed. Then his phone began to ring. Bbbzzzz... BBBbbzzzzz. He took out his phone and it read Bobby. He frowned a little then answered it, placing the phone to his ear, "Hey.."

Dude.. Not cool what you did.

"I know, I'm sorry.."

You fucked up with Jesse, , man... She's pissed. I mean, I'm sorry. It's her hormones right now and.. Shit. But.. It was shitty what you did. You shouldn't have mentioned anything to the Weathers.

"I know.. Um.."

Jess is pissed, I gotta go..

"Bye.." Lightning hung up and stared at Sally. They stared at each other. Sally sighed. Lightning apologized to her. "Sorry I caused such a problem.." "This is way more than just a problem, Lightning. This.. This is a huge ordeal here. Our friends may not be friends anymore and.. It's all our fault." "We did not ruin their friendships. You are being dramatic." "I am not. Lightning, one couple is getting an abortion, the other was trying to have a baby.. How do you not see how traumatizing that can be for them?" Sally whimpered as her eyes filled with tears. Lightning was speechless. He didn't know what to say to that. He didn't know what to think of Sally's emotions, of how she was softly crying about the situation. He wasn't sure exactly what he did wrong, but he knew he messed up...

Cal and Lightning were working. Running another Experience run together while the girls and Mater sat on the sidelines and watched. Meg noticed Sally's red, sports jacket with the 95 on the chest. "Nice jacket." She complimented. Sally smiled, "Thanks. Olivia, Lightning's temporary sponsor I guess... She and Miranda left it for me. Told me I should wear it to support Lightning." Meg nodded, "Well it looks good. So does the red hair. It's growing on me." Meg added. Sally rolled her eyes. Mater then asked, "You two ladies want anything to drink? I'm gonna go get me a water."

Sally nodded, "Sure, Mater. I'll take one." Mater smiled and walked off. Meg then leaned closer to Sally and asked, "So.. Have the two of you been working on a lot of wedding plans yet?" Sally snickered, "Yeah. I mean, not.. Prefousiously, but.. I've been working on a guest list and we did agree to have it at Wheel Well." "Wheel Well? Really?" Asked Meg. Sally nodded. Meg crossed her arms and asked, "Wouldn't you rather have it someplace new and.. Different and special?" "Wheel Well is special. To us. It's very special to us and that way we can have a small wedding." Meg scoffed at that. Sally raised a brow and asked, "What's funny about that?" Meg sighed, "Well, nothing. It's just you think you will wind up having a small wedding with the Lightning McQueen. Not counting his huge family, you have fans, press, racers, teams, Tex, your family, friends, close and not so close anymore. Sal, you are going to be marrying the most famous and most known and most.. Good looking man in racing. A man who had a reputation with women and somehow, you are the one to tame that in him. Making you famous, making girls all over that wanted him, want to see this wedding happen and some see it not happen. People are saying that Lightning is going to choke at the last minute because he's Lightning. Your wedding is not going to be small and private by any means." Meg warned.

Sally swallowed nervously. Thinking about all of that, all of the women. Sally stared at her friend and asked, "Why would, why would Lightning choke?" Meg shrugged, answering, "Because.. He's Lightning." "What exactly does that mean?" "I just.. It means that Lightning is someone who.. He's just Lightning. He's... Lightning." "Yeah, I got that. He's Lightning." "I don't mean that in a bad way.. But.. Come on, you are telling me that you haven't worried about it?" Asked Meg. Sally turned to her friend and snapped, "No. No, I haven't, because Lightning is faithful. Lightning loves me and he wants to marry me. He asked me. He asked me to marry him. I am the unfaithful one, I am the one with doubt. I am the one who is scared and afraid and I can't talk to him about it because he is a dramatic and emotional person who might and probably will over-react about me freaking out. Me freaking out will freak him out and he's happy. Lightning is happy right now and I will not take that away from him."

Meg stared at Sally. Filled with so many questions. Mater walked up with some water bottles. Meg grabbed Sally by the arm and told Mater, "We'll be right back." She then yanked Sally, pulling her away to a more private area then asked, "What are you talking about?" Sally yanked her arm back and crossed her arms as Meg continued, "First off, you said you were unfaithful. What the hell are you talking about?" Sally sighed. Thinking a moment before admitting, "There was a man.. Not long ago... I, uh... He kissed me and.. I.. Didn't stop him and we made out.. That was it." "That's it?" "That's it. We made out and I stopped." "And you're scared? Of what?" "I'm scared of getting married again and it fails again, okay? I love Lighting and I loved Ben at the time. I thought things were good. I was happy and I was in love and things were so perfect before we got married." "Wait, are we talking about Ben now?" Meg asked in confusion.

Sally sighed and her eyes filled up with tears. "Ben and I were the perfect couples.. We were going to have it all and then.. We got married, we were always busy and always working and we grew apart and started getting into stupid fights and then I ran away. Because I was scared." Meg stared at Sally. She had to ask, "You're not going to... Runaway. Are you?.." Sally stared at her friend. The prolonged silence worried Meg. Meg snickered and explained, "As much as a jerk as Lightning is, he does not deserve to wake up one day to find you ran away. You can't do that to someone you love, Sally. If you are having this kind of doubt, you need to talk to him." "I tried talking to him. I tried and he just ignored me and blew it off as me being over-worked and"-"Lightning?" Sally stared at her friend. Tears began to roll down her cheeks. Meg could see it. She meant Ben, not Lightning. Meg sighed and nodded. No more words, she just hugged Sally gently. Comforting her. Meg made the decision here. She was going to do something that she was completely against, but she felt she had to get involved. She had to go behind Sally's back and talk to Lightning...
