Lightning was just browsing channels on Tv. When his doorbell rang. He looked at the clock up on the wall. 6.00pm. He rushed over to the door and hesitated opening the door. Fuck it. He opened the door and smiled as he greeted the young girl. "Hey, Tiff." She blushed a little and asked, "Is it okay?.. That I came?" Lightning chuckled as he let her in. "Of course! I wanted you to or else I wouldn't have invited you." "Yeah, but.. It was just a show for my Dad, right?" She asked nervously. Lightning nodded then asked, "Did it work?" Tiffany smiled and answered proudly "It really did! He gave me a bunch of money and my Ferrari back and my keys!" "That's great! I'm glad I could help." Tiffany followed Lightning to the couch where they sat. Lightning browsing tv again as Tiffany asked, "You sure know how to force a women to blush, don't you?" Lightning glanced at her and smiled awkwardly as he shrugged. "I had to make it look real." He admitted. Tiffany's brows raised, "Well the picture you put in my head would and could do more than that!" She awkwardly giggled. Lightning snickered.
Tiffany couldn't help it ask, "How many girls have you?.. Um... Not what I mean. But like... Obviously you have had your.. Rounds... So.. I don't know, but how important is it that you make them feel good before you? Because guys are quick to finish, you know." Lightning snickered before correcting, "I go for women, not girls.. And I don't know. I guess it depends on what I want form them. I know that sounds really selfish after I said that aloud, but.. Before Sally... I just.. I put myself first mostly." "So you rarely pleased them, huh? Typical guy." "NO, not at all. I mean, yes.. But depending... Ugh.. If I was horny enough, I enjoyed playing her before I even pleased myself at all. Why-what are-why do you ask?" Lightning asked. Tiffany shrugged.
Lightning chuckled and muttered, "Think I planted a picture in your head all to well. I apologize for that." "Oh no! IT's fine! I-You didn't! I just.. Never mind!" Tiffany blushed red! Lightning was just happy to eye that he could make other women feel that way besides Sally. Yah, he's still got it. Tiffany scooted closer to Lightning. Her body grazing his now. Lightning glanced at her. Putting the remote down and leaving the channel on some home make over show. He was married. He thought of Sally. Sally inviting Ben over. But.. He wanted his marriage to work. SO he ignored her for now...
But this turned into a nightly thing. Tiffany coming over for the entire week and spending the night once. Nothing happened. No kissing, no touching, maybe some sketchy conversations but nothing over the line really. One more week and he would be home. One week and honestly.. He was enjoying Tiffany's company. She made him feel happier...
Lightning was passed out asleep. Sleeping in. He rolled over his bed. So quiet. He had gotten use to being alone in the mornings actually. BBBzzzzzzz... BBbzzzzzzz. BBBbzzzzz. Lightning grabbed his phone and rubbed his eyes. Sally. He hadn't heard from her in forever it seemed like. He pressed answer and "Hello?" In a sleepy and husky tone.
Have you not seen the latest from RSN?
"What? I just woke up, Sal..."
It came out three days ago. Linda has cancer.
"Linda?.. Linda Weathers?" Lightning asked as he sat up.
Yes...
"Fuck... How bad is it?"
I called Meg and the family is just depressed, Lightning.. Between Cal and Meg's baby, their marriage and now this.. Apparently, she's had cancer.. She's just decided to stop fighting it...
"Are you kidding me?"
I wish I was... Cal...
"I know... I'll.. I'll call him once I wake up."
...
"I'll... I'll see you soon." Lightning said as he hung up. He just... He didn't feel like talking to his wife right now. He didn't want to deal with her and her crap. Lightning had time to think about how he would talk to her about this whole lies and Ben coming over crap, but as he got to think about it, it didn't bother him as badly as it did at first. So he was considering just acting like he never knew and letting it go. Just not causing an argument and letting Sally have her pathetic fun. But was that right? Should he talk to her about it? And now this with Cal? It seemed like death followed that guy around so badly. Lightning got up and dressed and began to make himself some coffee and his phone rang again. Already. He sighed and answered it, thinking it was Sally again honestly, but why would it be? "Hello?"
Yes, May I speak to Lightning McQueen, please?
"Who is this?"
This is a private call for Lightning McQueen. Um.. My name is Shauna Pastelle. I'm calling to offer a once in a life time opportunity for Mr. McQueen.
"Yeah, not thanks. I've heard that before."
Wait! It's for FIsh.
"Excuse me?"
Dirt rally. I'm with Kinetic energy protein and workout inc and would like to speak to Mr. McQueen about sponsoring him in a rally competition. He would just need to come and qualify to make the cut. He would have everything he would need. His choice of car, paint scheme, everything set and ready.
"It sounds nice, but he already has his hands full. Besides, wouldn't that fall into the same season as NASCAR?"
Um.. Well.. Technically yes.. But Mr. McQueen would have the opportunity to travel the world and drive in different climates! He could be crowned a rally champion on top of his NASCAR career.
"No thanks." And he hung up. Sighing. It would be really cool, but he was still dealing with anxiety from the World Grand Prix mess and it would make NASCAR nearly impossible. He couldn't put that career on hold for dirt. He was a stock car driver not a rally car driver...
After a day out at the school, Lightning returned home and began getting ready for bed. The door bell rang. He smiled. It was probably Tiffany. Which would be nice to see her again. Not long and he'd be out of here anyway. He walked over and let her inside. She had a large purse and pulled out a bottle of champagne. "I figured we could have a celebration!" She announced. "What for?" He asked. Tiffany smiled and closed the door answering, "The fact that we have been deceiving my Father for the past couple weeks! I have got just about everything of mine back now. I owe you." She added, poking his chest. Lightning snickered replying, "Think nothing of it." The two made their way to the kitchen where Tiffany grabbed glasses and poured their drinks. Handing one to Lightning and clicking his glass with hers before sipping it. Lightning sipped his then set the glass down and asked, "Want to pick the show tonight?" "Sure." "Just no more fashion shows..." "Why not? Maybe you could use a make over? A new look?" She teased. Lightning chuckled answering, "No thanks. I like the way I look." "I don't know... This hair isn't it." She argued. Coming over and beginning to mess with his golden hair.
Lightning gently swatted her hand away, scowl, ding, "Don't touch my hair." Tiffany rolled her eyes then walked over and sat on the couch. "Do you have a blanket?" "Sure/" Lightning answered then went and grabbed done out before returning and sitting with his friend. Tiffany grabbed the remote and scooted close to him. Leaning on his shoulder. Lightning wrapped his arm around her and rested his hand on one of her knees that were bowed up. And Tiffany turned on the tv. Flipping through it. Tiffany rested her head on Lightning. Both relaxing and watching the channels flip until Tiffany landed on one about spooky stories and decided to stay on that...
Both watched some of it. Tiffany looking up at Lightning then positioning herself where her head rested in his lap. Lightning didn't fuss, he let her. And just began playing her hair slightly as they watched the show. Tiffany smiled. "That feels soooo good." She complimented. Lightning stopped and stared down at her. Smiling a little then back up at the tv. Tiffany remained still but then after some time did something weird. She kissed hi inner thigh. Looking up and asking, "Why not have a little fun tonight?" Lightning stared at her. He wasn't nervous at all. He shrugged answering, "I don't know." "Oh come on. I don;t mean we have to.. Like.. Fuck or anything." She then sat up and scooted up into his lap. Her ass right in between his legs. "Just some.. Fun." Wrapping her arms around his neck. Lightning glanced at her lips. Tiffany leaned in and kissed his lips. Once. Twice.. Third time and Lightning invited her in. Beginning to make out with the beautiful young woman. Tiffany moaned in such a sexy way then suddenly stopped and announced, "I'll be right back." Grabbing her bag and running off to the bedroom.
Now Lightning felt uncomfortable. This wasn't okay. He needed to tell Tiffany no. Talk to her. So he got up pretty quick like and began to head that way. He got it the cracked bedroom door and almost opened it when he saw what he couldn't believe. She was sitting on the bed.. Sabotaging a condom. Poking little numerous holes. He froze. Was she serious? Lighting thought quickly about things. How to confident, how to act, what he should do?! He walked back to the couch like nothing happened. Sitting back down and waiting for Tiffany to return. Fuck! What had he done?
Thinking hard about things. Tiffany returned with a smile and sat down next to him. "Close your eyes." She ordered softly. Lightning sighed but did so. Then felt Tiffany's lips on his. He let her in. Resuming their make out session. Then her hand was on his knee.. His inner thigh. Making it's way up to his groin. She rubbed his area gently yet with force. It would be a lie to say she was doing nothing to his body. As they made out, she moaned. Lightning reached around and grabbed her thigh and pulled her into his lap. Grabbing her ass cheeks as they made out more intensely. He rubbed his fingers lower.. Between her legs.. Caressing her area that he could tel as getting more and more wet. He then took her lifting her up in his arms, and a carrying her. Tiffany giggled and asked, "Where are we going." Lightning carried her to the front door and barely was able to open it. Tiffany was confused then asked. "Oooo? Are we going to the hot tub?" Lightning set her down outside his front door then shoved her against the house and kissed her in such a sexy way. Fiddling her ass then her pants hem then reached into her pocket and pulled out the condom. Tiffany smiled and asked, "Are you wanting to?.. I.. I brought it just in case." Lightning tossed it on the ground and growled, "I saw you in the bedroom." Tiffany turned pale!
"Lightning... I.." "I trusted you.. I thought I.. Leave." "But.. Lightning I"-"I don't fuck with whores anymore!" He yelled into her face! Tiffany's eyes watered up. "I. It's not like that... My Father.." "WHAT!? Made you do this?! NO! That's a fucking lie! What do you really want right now?! You want me to do this with you!?" He asked rudely! "Pin you up here?" Her asked in anger, shoving Tiffany up against the wall, her hands above his head. "Do you want me to fuck you that badly!? To knock you up!?" He shouted as he shoved his pelvis against hers! Tiffany began crying. She was overwhelmed and terrified! Lightning stepped back and growled, "Get out of here and never come back." Tiffany ran! Ran to her car as she cried hysterically! Lightning walked back inside and slammed the door. Angry was an understatement...
Sally was at her desk of the Cozy Cone. Working on some paper work. Flo walked and asked, "Hey, how are things?.." Sally smiled answering, "Good. The motel has been doing really well this last month." Flo sat down and asked, "What about you and Lightning?" "Oh. Um.. Good. I've talked to him some... I think he's upset still.." "Did you apologize? Or at least talk to him about why you came back?" "Not really..." "Sally..." Flo Snarled. Sally stood up and began, "I know! I know I messed up, but.. I'd rather talk to him in person. I think that's the best way to handle him." "Handle him?" "I don't know what I mean. He's never good with words and he never listens to what I try to tell him. It's so tough with him. I have to plan out words so that he understands." Explained Sally. Flo sighed. Staring at her friend. She could see the potential disaster that Sally was creating, but she wasn't going to push too much. "Alright... Well I'm glad we talked some. See you later, Sally." "See you later, Flo." Flo left and Sally retuned to some paper work she was putting in on the computer. Pausing and thinking. About Lightning. Should she tell him about Ben coming or not?...
It was late. Or early. Sally rolled over in bed then heard a noise at the front door. Her eyes opened suddenly. She continued to hear something. Then she choked as she heard the door open with a faint squeak. Sally looked over at the clock. 3.57am. Terrified, she slipped on her robe over her nightgown and slipped her feet into her slippers. She quietly made her way to the bedroom door and peeked down the hall. She could see a figure. Who was it? "Lightning?.." She whispered. It was! Sally flipped on the hall light and called "Lightning." He looked at her from across the room. Staring at her as she just stared back. Quiet. Sally leaned against the bedroom door beam and asked, "What happened? You're home early." Lightning sighed before nodding and answering, "Yeah.. Um... Just.. Ended early." Sally cocked her head a little. "You okay?" She asked with concern, Lightning nodded, "Yeah, just tired." "I would have come and got you from the airport if I had known you were coming home early." "I didn't want to bother you.." Lightning muttered then walked down the hall and to her. Hugging her. Sally closed her eyes, wrapped her arms around him and they both embraced each other. Sally taking in his scent she moaned slightly with, "MMM, It's good to have you back." Lightning snickered with a smile, "I'm glad to be back with you." They then pulled back and gazed upon each other. Lightning kissed Sally on the fore head then suggested that they go to bed...
LIghtning awoke with a yawn. Glancing at the clock, 10.42am. He sat up and stretched. Alone. In bed. He figured Sally would be at work as usual. It did cross his mind.. How would Sally make time for a kid? She barely made time for them. Whatever, anyway.. He was not having a child with her anytime soon. Not after these petty lies and tricks she had been pulling. He still had to figure out how to talk to her about that to. Should he though? Or should he just leave her be to think that she had fooled him. It would avoid a fight. "Morning, Stickers." Sally greeted as she walked in the bedroom. She walked over and sat down next to her husband. Lightning was surprised to see her. "What are you doing here?" He asked. Sally snickered then began brushing his hair neatly out of his face as she answered, "You came home early and late.. Or early.. I thought it would be nice to spend my day with you rather than the motels today." "Wow. I.. I'm surprised." "Well you are more important than motels. You do know that, right, Stickers?" She asked. Lightning nodded. "Good." Sally replied then leaned in and kissed his lips softly.
Kissing again, but more intensely this time. Laying her hand over his thigh and rubbing up his leg. The two began making out and Lightning's lap began to raise. But then he pulled back with blushing red cheeks. "What's wrong?" Asked Sally. Lightning smiled awkwardly answering, "I just.. I.. We need to talk about this trying thing." "Seriously?" Her tone said it all. She was preparing for war with that one. "Yeah, well.." Lightning continued, "We are not ready, Sal. I know I promised, but that was before." "Before what?" She asked rudely. Lighting sighed. Should he really talk to her bout Ben? How he feels he can't trust her? Lightning frowned a little before continuing on, "Because I can't do this with you. Not yet." Sally stood up and snapped! "You promised me! I keep getting told later by you and you are doing it again, Lightning! This is not okay!" "I"m sorry..." "Sorry!? Really!? Sorry doesn't do what you, as my husband, has promised me! We are trying, Lightning!" "Well not anymore!" Lightning shouted! Sally's jaw dropped, Staring with such anger at her husband. "Where is this coming from!? Is this because I left?" Sally asked. Lightning shook his head, answering "Not really. But I have to much going on and I'm stressed out! I can't handle a kid right now!" He whined.
Sally flared her arms up in the air and reminded, "It's not like it's just bam a kid!? It takes time and will probably take more time than average for us! Stress?! We can work through that!" "Can we!?" Lightning asked as he stood up. Sally scoffed, "Are you kidding me? Yes!" Lightning snickered and made his way to the dresser and began getting dressed. "Don't walk away from me! We are not finished talking about this, Lightning!" Sally was furious and panicking. She really wanted that baby. Part of Lightning felt bad, but she was a lying and distrustful person right now. Lightning turned towards Sally and said, "Look... There is to much stress between us.. We are already fighting, Sal.." Sally frowned and stared at the floor. "Can we just talk about this later?" He asked. "You said you wanted to spend the day together and I really don't want to spend it arguing." Sally stared at Lightning a moment before shaking her head and replying, "Spend it by yourself. I need to be alone." Heading to the bathroom and slamming the door. Lightning snickered and shook his head. Was she serious right now?...
Lightning walked into the cafe, immediately greeted by a few fans and the Sheriff, followed by Flo. Lightning walked up to the counter and took a seat on a br stool. Flo placed a menu in front of him and asked, "How was the trip? Work?" Lightning looked up answering, "It was alright. It's over for good now though. I'm glad to be home. ... I think.." He muttered as he glanced towards the Cozy Cone Motel. Flo looked over at the cone shaped rooms then back to Lightning. "Everything okay at home?" She asked. Lightning nodded as he picked up the menu and began glancing over it. "The usual?" Asked Flo. Lightning nodded and set the menu down. Flo walked away. Lightning tapped the counter top with his fingers. Frustrated and stressed already today. He sighed. Thinking. What was up with Sally? Should he talk to her about Ben? No... Best not to. Surely nothing happened. He honestly didn't believe Sally would cheat. Like Tiffany. Lightning whined and placed his face in the palms of his hands as he leaned onto his elbows. He was a horrible husband. He cheated, didn't he? The way he was letting Tiffany come over, the way they hung out, the gifts, the flirting, the kissing.. Making out and touching. Fuck.
Flo walked over and placed Lightning's order in front of him. "Here you go, Honey. Your usual." Lightning took one look at the food then ran to the nearest trash can and puked! Everyone stared. Sheriff walked over and patted Lightning on the back. "You okay, son?" He asked. Lightning stood up and took a deep breath before wiping his face with his arm and answering, "No.. I'll be fine though.." He then walked out of the cafe. Flo about reminded him of his food, but decided not to...
Lightning walked to the small store nearby and went straight for the pharmacy section Searching for something to help his nerves. Once he found something, he paid and walked back towards the cafe to his car. Would he and Sally be okay? He wondered as he too two pills as the bottle recommended. Could going ahead and having a kid help the stress? Surely not. If anything, it should bring more stress. Lightning got into his car and took a deep breath before grabbing out a cigarette and lighting it. Taking in that first and amazing breath of the drug. He should talk to Sally. He knew it was the right thing to do even if it caused a small argument...
Lightning drove back to the house and walked in, closing the door behind him no closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Preparing for the possible fight to come. "Sal! YOu still home!?" He called as he walked into the living room. She was. Sitting on the couch, watching some tv. Lightning walked over and sat next to her on the couch where he asked, "Are you still mad?" She glared at him. Lightning frowned. She obviously was. SO he continued, "I understand and you do have a right to be mad at me sense I give you no explanation. So... Here it is..." He paused. Sally looked at him with curiosity. Hoping it could be something that she could fix so that they could go back to trying for a baby pretty quickly. Lighting leaned forward, elbows on his knees as he spoke, "I know that...(Sigh) ... I know that Ben was here." Sally's eyes widened. She was careful to make sure all trace of her ex was gone! "Lightning.. It's not like that.." She mumbled. Lightning only looked at her asking, "Like what?" "I didn't cheat." "I didn't think you did." He assured. Sally's brows lowered as she asked, "Than what is the problem?" Lightning stood up answering, "The problem is that you went off behind my back and invited another man into our home! Not just a man, your ex husband! I'm your husband! How do you think that makes me feel? Do you really think I can trust you now?" He asked. Sally stared at her husband. Her eyes filling with tears as she realized what she had done!
"Stickers... I.." She whimpered. The realization of this being his reason of not wanting a kid.. With her.. She screwed up... Hurting Lightning badly. "I'm sorry.." She cried. Lighting sat down next to her nod pulled her close. "I love you." He assured. "But I.. I don't know how to feel about this." "I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry.." She began crying. Leaning into his arm. Lightning sighed and admitted, "Well that's not all I wanted to tell you." Sally pulled back and wiped her eyes as she awaited his further words. Lightning frowned and continued, "Tiffany got.. Tiffany and I began to get too close. That's why I left and I'm not going back." "What? What exactly is too close?" Sally asked nervously. Lightning sighed, "We kissed.. Made out a little but I stopped it and came home. I'm not going to lose you!" Sally pushed back! Disgusted with her husband. "How could you? That's... That's cheating! You cheated on me!?" "What!? No! Never! I did not cheat! Cheating is a relationship or sex! Or pursuing! I didn't do that! It was meaningless and the minute I realized how bad it was, I left! I came back to you!" He reassured and reminded.
Sally instantly began to have a migraine. She stood up and sighed, "You're right.. There is way too much going on for us to have a kid." "Sal..." Lightning gulped. "I'm not going to lose you?... Am I?" He asked with such fear. Sally looked down at her love and smiled. "No. No, of course not... I think we both messed up here past few weeks..." She muttered. Lightning nodded and agreed. Sally stood there and Lightning sat there. Both silent as they weren't sure what to say to one another at the moment...
