Well, ladies and gentlemen, we're here. While last chapter was the climatic showdown for 'The Battle of Fairy Tail', then this is the battle that is by FAR the most epic in terms of sheer scale and spectacle. Bambietta and Lucy vs Laxus was meant to be the culmination of Bambietta's journey throughout the entire story? This? This is meant to be something on par with the likes of Madara vs Hashirama.

You will NOT get another battle like this until the end of the story. That is how NUTS things are about to go. Consider this a sneak peak of how crazy things will be by the stories end.

The question now is, who will emerge victorious?

Sylphia, the progenitor of Wizards, Goddess of Comradery, and the one who brought Bambietta over into Earthland to make this story possible in the first place?

Or Yhwach, the son of the Soul King, leader of the Wandenriech, the man who brought the soul society to its knees and the final antagonist of Bleach?

There's only one way to find out.

Thank you to Sorarocks531 for helping to edit this chapter.

Disclaimer: I don't own Bleach of fairy tail. Those belong respectively to Tite Kubo and Shounen jump and Hiro Mashima and Weekly shounen magazine. This is just for fun!

"Um, are you sure about this boss? This doesn't feel like a very good idea to me."

"Oh shut up, you coward. Either you can chicken out or you can partake in one of the greatest 'get rich' plans to have ever existed!"

"Well...if you're sure."

The chatter belonged to two dark mages. Cromley Fiedbatcher, the guild master of Dradgurs Axe and Pablo Packwood, the sniveling second in command. Currently, their guild was the last one under Emberella's control that remained in its entirety. All of the others that she had brought along had been dealt with over the course of the battle with Fairy Tail, and by the look of things, her plan had started to go south.

Cromley didn't mind it all too much. Frankly, he could never stand the woman, nor how she strong armed his guild under her command with thinly veiled threats. But now it seemed she was preoccupied, leaving him with plenty of freedom to do as he wished. With any luck, both she and Fairy Tail would take each other out, leaving him and his men all of the spoils of her attempt at a coup de dat.

Presently, he and his guild had set their eyes on a particularly wealthy prize. The Emperor of Bosco, currently sitting in the Fairy Tail guild hall minding his own business, and completely unguarded. It was the perfect opportunity, in Cromleys mind, to take him as a hostage for the ransom of the ages. With Fairy Tail busy tending to its own wounds, and his elite guard out of sight, he seemed like easy pickings.

Admittedly, there had been a rumor that the king was an exceptionally powerful wizard, having felled the previous regime of Bosco in a single night. It was no doubt for this reason that Pablo expressed such doubt. However, as far as Cromley was concerned, it was clearly just that. A rumor. Why else would he stay within the safe confines of the Fairy Tail guild when he could have, presumably, put an end to Emberella's scheme in an instant. Such actions would garner further support for his nation, would it not? No. As far as Cromley was concerned, he was just a feeble ruler with an unreasonable reputation.

Cromley set down his binoculars, and faced the rest of the guild. "Alright boys, listen should be a quick and easy operation. We go in, kidnap the emperor, and head out of town before we send his kingdom a message and live a grand life of luxury!" He then thrust his hand up into the air, grinning. "Are you ready boys!?"

His men let out all sorts of cheers and jeers, many of them throwing up their own hands in the air, alongside their weapon of choice.

Cromley smirked. "Alright then! Let's get going, take that dumbass with us and then it's the rich life for-"

Then, before all of Dradgur's Axes eyes, their guild master had an arrow of light pierce right through his head, his body falling to the ground with a thud. Blood pooled out of his wound, covering the streets as the rest of his guild looked on in horror..

"Word of advice. Whenever you're trying to kidnap royalty, don't cause a ruckus beforehand. It's probably the stupidest way to give away both your intent and location."

The dark mages glanced upwards to the sound of the voice. Standing atop a nearby tree branch was a beautiful woman with purple hair tied behind her head in a short ponytail with a pink ribbon and brown eyes. The rest of her outfit consisted of a white jacket, black tights, purple shoes and gauntlets and a long blue sash tied around her waist formed into a giant ribbon in the back.

Most bizarre of all, however, was the small fox-like creature that stood on her shoulder with light brown fur and three tails with a rainbow-esque hue.

Then, before they could even reply with so much as a generic "Who are you!?", the woman simply waved her hand in their direction, the lot of them silenced as Heilig Pfeil fired into their heads, as the fell to the ground in a bloody heap.

The woman sighed at the sight, and then, with a snap of her fingers, created a cube of reishi that surrounded the bodies. There was a bright flash of light, and as the construct vanished, so did any sign of their bodies, not even leaving a speck of blood. With the task at hand settled, she used Hirenkyaku to appear right in the guild hall, marching over to the Quincy Emperor where he stood alone at his own table in the guild hall.

The woman fell down to one knee."Father, I've already dealt with your would be kidnappers. You needn't worry soiling your hands with their blood. " She reported. As far as she was concerned, such a trifling matter was best left in her capable hands, as to not distract the newly ordained emperor of Bosco.

'Yhwach' slowly turned his head towards her direction and smiled. "Excellent work as always Princess Sachi. However, I regret to inform you that I'm not the one you seek. His Majesty is currently down below in regards to Fairy Heart. I'm simply fulfilling the role of doppelganger so as to not raise suspicion of his whereabouts."

Sachi's s eyes widened, but quickly composed herself."I see. So it's you, Royd Lloyd. My apologies, but with your Schrift, it's next to impossible to spot the difference."

The man who had taken up the Quincy kings likeness, could only chuckle. "Well, it's only natural. In the end, even that fool Yamamoto fell for it."

While the plan had resulted in his own demise, Royd could not help but look back on the role he had played with some level of fondness. He had achieved his goal of buying his Majesty more time, ultimately allowing his great king to kill the man responsible for the deaths of countless Quincy. Why, he was even able to thoroughly thrash and humiliate the one who had killed his twin brother, Lloyd. If he had but one regret, it was that he had never gotten the chance to finish Kenpachi Zaraki off.

"Still, I'm surprised you've come to Magnolia," Royd told Sachi. "I specifically recall His Majesty asking you to remain in Neo Silbern. It would be wise for at least one member of the new royal family to remain within the kingdom to maintain proper appearances."

Sachi fought the urge to roll her eyes as she tried to remain placid. "As Fathers-I mean His Majesty's shadow, it's my duty to take care of any opposition or obstacles that may impede his efforts for the world we wish to create, especially those that don't warrant his attention. Besides, Anko, Kaede, Jose and Xander have more than enough power to keep things under control."

Royd Lloyd could feel the urge to scold Sachi for her blatant disregard for the orders their king had given her, but ultimately decided against it. It's best to leave this matter to the hands of His Majesty. I dare not risk his wrath for rebuking her in his place.

He was her father after all, not him.

Sachi, meanwhile, furrowed her brow at the recent information. "So, His Majesty is down stairs with the Fairy Heart? No doubt he's already dealing with Sylphia," She tried to sense her father's spiritual pressure... only to find that she couldn't. Her eyes widened and looked back at Royd Lloyd, her face filled with determination. "Tell me where the stairs for the basement are! I'm going to head down to assist-"

"You'll do absolutely no such thing, Princess Sachi."

Sachi blinked with surprise, only to glare at the imitation. "You listen here, Royd Lloyd. I don't care if you're stronger than I am right now, you don't have the authority to give me orders. Just because you look like my father doesn't mean that I have to-"

"It seems that you are forgetting an important trait about my half of the ability his Majesty bestowed me," Royd interrupted. "Both aspects of "The Yourself " allows its user to take on the appearance of whomever they come into contact with. However, whereas my brother's portion allowed him to copy the abilities and powers of those he imitated along with 100% of their reiatsu capabilities, my portion allows me access to their memories and personality with 80% of their reiatsu. So when I take on the appearance of his Majesty, I know better than anyone else what his true thoughts and desires are. Even more than you and Princess Mette."

He honestly would have rather not spoken to her in such a tone, but it was both for her, His Majesty's, and the Neo Wandenriechs own good.

Sachi continued to glare, but chose to remain silent, prompting Royd Lloyd to continue. "One of the things His Majesty despises the most is when his own subordinates feel the need to interfere with his own battles. It's a matter of pride you see. Not even the Schutzstaffel are exempt from this-"

"But Mette and I are different!" Sachi shouted, unable to remain silent. "We might both be members of the Neo Sternritter, but we're more than that! We're his daughters an-"

"It's for that exact reason that he would especially wish for either of you to stay out of his battles," Royd interrupted her. "Yes, with the other Sternritter it is purely a matter of pride. And yes, as his daughters, you two surpass us in every conceivable way when it comes to his connection. But it is because you are his daughters that he wishes for you to remain on the side lines. The Schrifts you were given were not just so you could serve by his side, but so that you could also protect yourselves. If you were to enter in the fray with a foe your father actually considered dangerous, then he would spend most of the battle fraught with worry for the both of you."

"Ridiculous. My father is above such concerns," Sachin rebutted. "He'll do whatever it takes to bring about the ideal world that my mother would have wanted. Especially since…"

She glanced away, unable to bring herself to say the rest. While it was true that she and Mette shared a mother, they did not share a father by blood. Her birth father had died not long after she was born, and was thus nothing more than an enigma to her.

In that regard, Yhwach had been the closest thing she ever had to a real father. Certainly, he had acted the role more than well enough when her mother was around, but ever since her passing he had been slightly more distant to the both of them. Lile Barro had assured her it was simply because he was in mourning, but that had done little to dissuade her own fears.

After all, what was she by comparison besides a simple tag along that he had to take in when he and her mother had fallen in love. She wasn't really his child and as far as she was concerned, she could never really, truly compare to Mette.

Royd Lloyd, picking up on what her words had implied, rose up from his chair. "There are some things that only a father should share with their daughter. If you truly wish to ask his feelings in the matter then-"

"No!" Sachi shouted unexpectedly, before she quickly covered her mouth and glanced away. "I-I can't do that. It's not my place to ask. His Majesty will tell me in time. I'm... I'm sure of it."

The both of them knew full well she didn't believe a word of that. However, as far as Sachi was concerned, she had already heard enough. She wouldn't dare to ask him such a thing. As much as she desperately wanted to know how he felt, she was just as equally fearful of it.

For the moment, ignorance was bliss.

Royd spared a brief glance at Sachi before he turned around. He had already said more than enough to keep her out of harm's way and as far as he was concerned, that was more than enough.

However, sensing that she was still more than a little concerned for her adoptive father, the princess unable to look him in the eye, Royd was unable to remain silent. "In any event, there is no reason to fret. Even without the ability to use his Almighty eyes in battle, His Majesty is still more than enough of a match for anyone who resides in Earthland. Whenever your father goes into battle, it should not be his safety you should be concerned with, but rather those who face his divine judgment."

"Sachi, I think you should listen to what Royd is saying," The small tiny fox on Sachi's shoulder finally spoke in a slightly squeaky voice. "I know that you're worried, but I can't think of anyone that could beat him. Going down there yourself will only make things worse."

Sachi could only glance down towards the basement, clenching her fists. "I pray that you're right, Volme," She muttered. Normally she wouldn't have even perished the thought that her father could lose. He was practically, power incarnate.

But now was different. Now he faced a foe that was unlike any other he had encountered in Earthland. The first and greatest of all wizards. A woman so powerful that she had been granted godhood. A power that greatly exceeded even that of the Black Wizard, Zeref.

Her eyes closed, as her father emerged in the forefront of her mind. Father... Please, come back to us. If me and Mette were to lose you too...then I wouldn't know what would happen.

"Now then, I will politely ask you to return to Neo Silbern post haste," Royd informed her. "I don't imagine your father would take too well to your presence in Magnolia. I shall keep your breach of conduct a secret, just this once."

Sachi nodded her head and thus, with a heavy heart, she made her way back towards her country.

She only hoped that her father would be able to do the same.

Meanwhile, back in the lowest level of the Fairy Tail guild hall's dwellings stood two beings of immeasurable might. One of them was the current Emperor of Bosco and King of the Neo Wandenriech, the man who had conquered all of Europe under the banner of the Lichtreich and brought the Gotei thirteen to its knees. Yhwach.

The other was the one who had been responsible for bringing over Bambietta and the other deceased inhabitants from her world; alongside, Meifon and Jade to Earthland. The Goddess of Camaraderie and even the progenitor of all of Wizardry. Sylphia Nelia LaBelle.

The two stood a mere fifteen feet apart, their eyes locked in an intense stare. For a moment, it seemed as if neither would make the first move. However, the silence was not to last as the Quincy king's lips curled upward. "Well now, I'm honored to have such a prestigious individual in my presence. It's not every day when one comes face to face with the progenitor of all wizards. It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Sylphia."

The purple haired goddess bowed her head. "Oh no. The pleasure is all mine, King of Quincy. It's not often when one meets a mortal with power as great as yours…" Her smile grew ever so slightly. "Though I suppose calling you a 'mortal' would be a bit of a stretch, given your lineage."

Yhwach chuckled. "I've ceased to view myself as some sort of deity for some time now, even if most of my 'children' feel otherwise. I'm but a single man with a goal to save this world," He gave her a knowing glance. "I'm certain that you, of all people, can sympathize with that."

Sylphia nodded. "Indeed I can. Still, I'm rather surprised that you managed to acquire knowledge of my past. I've taken many precautions to ensure that my name was wiped out of the history books to ensure the identity of the first mage remained a secret. It wouldn't do if the public knew it was possible for mortals to ascend to godhood. Should I assume you acquired this information as a result of the knowledge that you managed to steal from Orez?"

She still had a hard time reconciling that the God of Knowledge had not only been foolish enough to bring Yhwach into this realm in the first place, but also had a portion of his nigh infinite knowledge stolen from him as he was slain. She had feared such knowledge would be put to terrible use, but never had she suspected that her origins would be among them.

Yhwach smirked. "His knowledge has proven to have been quite valuable, even in such small qualities. Thanks to his generous 'contribution', I know quite a bit about your past...and how and why you ascended to godhood," He rested his right hand on his hip. "With all that information in mind, I wish to propose to you a rather generous offer."

"Oh? And just what could the son of the Soul King possibly wish to offer me?" Sylphia asked chipperly.

"Sylphia Nelia LaBelle. Come under my command."

The Goddess couldn't help but blink, genuinely surprised by his offer. "You wish for me to join your forces? Is your goal not the destruction of all deity's? Surely you can understand why I would be baffled by such a request."

Yhwach smirked. "I told you, I know all about the truth of your ascension. You are not a proper deity like the rest of the gods. You are amongst the very few who used to be mortal, and amongst them, you are the only one who ascended with noble intent. You did not seek godhood for the sake of power or everlasting life. No, rather you chose to ascend so that you could better aid your fellow man." His eyes narrowed. "But you've seen for yourself just how bureaucratic the Gods are when it comes to interacting with humanity and how fickle they can be."

Yhwach outstretched his hand. "It is for this reason, and this alone, that I ask for you to work alongside me. With your assistance, reaching the Divine realm and annihilating the remaining gods will be considerably easier. Surely you've seen now that the world would be better without your fellow deities. All I seek is the eradication of those who have ill will towards humanity."

Sylphia closed her eyes, appearing in deep thought. "I see. That is quite the generous offer. A rather tempting one, really. However..." Her eyes opened, brewing with determination. "I see through your deception. You may claim to wish to only destroy the gods which harm humanity, but the truth is that you seek the destruction of us all."

She held up her left hand, index finger extended. "Your reasons for this are likely twofold. The first is that good can not exist without evil, or vice versa. As long as the benevolent gods exist, the malevolent ones will simply continue to be recreated. A new body, a new mind, but the same incarnations none the less. It's Earthlands way to maintain a proper balance of yin and yang. So to completely destroy one side forever, you would have to completely destroy the other. Not even the destructive abilities of God Slayers or those of a Quincy could prevent that."."

She raised up her middle finger along with her index. "But even if that were not the case, you would no doubt need to annihilate the rest of us for your true goal. You still seek a world where death as a concept no longer exists, do you not?"

Met with silence, she proceeded. "Such an ideal is a possibility in this world as well, as I'm sure you no doubt have learned from Orez. All that is required is complete and total dominance over the divine realm and to combine it with the mortal realm, and utilize its unique properties to grant immortality to all who dwell in the mortal realm by combining the two. However, in order for such control to be possible, to fully utilize the realm of the gods...One must slay all of its inhabitants."

Yhwach narrowed his gaze, forming his blade into his right hand. "I see. So you're also among the few that knows the truth about the workings of the world. Then surely you know that the gods exist only to help 'guide' the concepts that they oversee. They do not 'create' or necessitate their existence. The world would be better off without them."

Sylphia shook her head. "I will not deny that, but while many of the gods are truly detestable, and simply view humanity as a means to an end, there are many of whom I consider friends. I was made the Goddess of Comradery for a reason..and I refuse to abandon them."

Yhwach closed his eyes. "A shame. I see now that an alliance between us is all but impossible. You were the sole one I had hoped to spare if possible and simply return you back to your mortal self. Now it is clear you would never stand by as I slaughtered your comrades."

Sylphia shook her head. "No, I would not. Now that we've settled that little dispute, I shall give you this one warning," Her expression then turned very serious. "Turn. Back. Now. Your plans to acquire Fairy Heart have failed. You won't be able to so much as lay one hand on it without facing my wrath. And my wrath is something not even the likes of you wish to face."

She slammed the bottom of her staff into the ground and a massive blue aura engulfed her being, a constant flow of air seeming to radiate around her. The goddess' gaze intensified as she pointed her staff at the Quincy monarch. "If only for the sake of your kingdom, and your daughters, don't force me to destroy you."

Then, to her immense surprise, the King of Quincy began to chuckle. "It seems that you're still under a great misconception. I didn't come here to find Fairy Heart. I came here for you ."

(Song of choice: Dark 2211 TYBW full orchestra, Bleach TYBW OST)

Sylphia, while certainly aback by this admission, quickly regained her composure. "I thought I made it perfectly clear that I have no intention of working alongside you, regardless of your intentions."

Yhwach shook his head. "Ah, but your potential cooperation was only partially why I sought you out. For you see, I had always assumed that an alliance between us was unlikely at best. No, my primary objective for coming to Magnolia wasn't for your cooperation, nor even seeing the true strength of the Special Threats or even Fairy Heart.. No, my primary objective-"

Yhwach vanished from Sylphia's vision before he appeared right above her, his quincy blade held up high. "Was your demise!"

Sylphia quickly brought up her staff to block the oncoming strike, her legs bending as Yhwach's weapon made contact with her own. Landing back on his feet, he went in for a series of strikes, each with the intent of removing her head from her body. Centuries of experience came into play however, allowing her to twirl and move her staff in such a way that she was able to block each of his attacks, though her feet skid across the ground with each strike.

The goddess kicked off from the ground, aiming her staff at Yhwach's face, but the Quincy king parried her attack, using his blade to move her staff to the right and attempted to fire a Heilig Pfiel at her face from the palm of his hand. Sylphia ducked underneath the arrow just in the nick of time, however, and slammed her palm against his stomach, sending him back.

The Quincy emperor was quick to react, appearing right behind Sylphia and a horizontal cut appearing right across her chest…until the goddess faded from existence, her body bursting into shards of light. His eyes widening, Yhwach quickly spun around to block Sylphia's staff from striking his head, his knees buckling.

"Very impressive of you to leave a light duplicate of yourself without my notice," Yhwach admitted. "Most wouldn't have been able to have achieved such a feat."

"Well, I've had some practice," Sylphia replied. "Though, you didn't exactly leave me with much room for error." She smirked. "Now then, shall we continue?"

The quincy Kaiser's lips curled upwards, bloodlust filling his eyes. "Indeed we shall."

Yhwach slammed his knee onto Sylphia's stomach, forcing her to bend over before he attempted to strike her with his blade. However, Slylphia pointed her right hand at the oncoming strike and a ray of light burst forth, sending Yhwach across the floor. Narrowing her eyes, Sylphia lifted up her right hand, her body surrounded by several dozen small stars.

"Heavenly Body Magic: 6 Stars, Light's Judgement!"

She flung her hand down, stars transforming into rays of light.

Yhwach didn't seem worried in the slightest, and slammed his hand to the ground, with a massive cross of light emerging before him, blocking her attack in its entirety.

However, just as Yhwach had pressed his hand to the ground, so too had Sylphia, the earth beneath them beginning to change as multiple spikes shot upwards at the quincy king.

"Iron Rock Spikes!"

Yhwach smirked at the attempt and swung his sword, the shockwave he produced destroying the stakes of earth before they had come close to touching him. He pointed his index finger at the goddess, unleashing several dozen beams of light towards her.

"Dark Rondo!"

Sylphia narrowed her eyes at the oncoming attack and twirled her staff, firing off several dozen green ghostly specters at the onslaught of light. Green and blue light erupted between the two of them, but just as the dust began to clear, Yhwach appeared right behind Sylphia and thrust his sword into her back.

Sylphia cried out as she felt the blade cut into her body, only for her body to disperse into shards of light yet again. Yhwach's own eyes widened at this turn of events, with Sylphia appearing right behind him, her staff pointed right at his back with three purple magical circles before her.

"Amaterasu: Formula 28."

The area surrounding Yhwach burst into a massive pillar of darkness, the attack shooting up past the basement and almost reaching the guild hall above. The Goddess smiled, satisfied that she had finally landed a blow.

"Lichtstrahl!"

A torrent of light burst out from the dust cloud from where the quincy king had stood, blasting towards Sylphia at unbelievable speed. Not having time to properly dodge, she instead slammed her staff to the ground as a massive ornate wall of steel formed into existence.

"Titanium Make: Rampart!"

The ray of light slammed into the newly created defensive shield, blocking the spell. However, the goddess took note of the cracks that were beginning to form. This spell simply wasn't going to be enough. However, just as Yhwach's spell burst through her shield, the first mage leapt up into the air and aimed her staff at her opponent..

"Dark Capriccio!"

A blast of green light, with an orange swirling vortex traveling along its length, shot towards Yhwach. The Quincy king swung his sword at the attack, deflecting it to the right…only for the attack to whip around in the air and hurtle back towards him. Yhwach brought up his left hand to block the attack, his feet skidding against the ground until he swung his sword even harder than before, dispersing it completely.

He glanced at the palm of his left hand, the glow of Blut Vene shining brightly…and a slight burn mark adorning his hand. I see, so not even Blut Vene is enough to fully block her attacks. I'll have to exercise more caution.

Sylphia wasn't finished yet, however and pointed her left hand at Yhwach, a purple magical circle appearing in her palm. "Zetsu!"

Multiple blasts of air shot towards Yhwach, but the Quincy king braced himself for the impact and charged through the onslaught of air. The goddesses eyes widened, not expecting Yhwach to simply charge through her attack. She quickly brought up her staff to defend just as Yhwach slammed his sword down at her, bringing her right knee to the ground.

Yhwach smirked. "What's wrong?" He asked, getting a good look at her strained expression. "Is my Blute Arterie too much for you to-"

"Water Lock!"

The emperor of Bosco found himself engulfed in a massive sphere of water. Then, before he could attempt some sort of escape, She swiftly moved, pointing her staff at the orb of water, the tip of it mere centimeters away from making contact

"Evil Spark!"

A powerful current of electricity flowed through the watery sphere, electrocuting Yhwach. The light was intense, covering the sphere in its entirety, and blocking off any view. But, before she could follow through with her plan, a massive Heilig Pfiel shot out from her Water Lock spell, piercing through her stomach. Sylphia cried out, her feet skidding against the floor til she came to a complete halt and glanced down at her stomach. She let out a pained grunt, her eyes falling upon the newly created hole that went through her entire body. "Oh dear…"

"Well now, it would appear that first blood goes to me," Yhwach remarked, his blade pointed at Sylphia. "I highly doubt even one such as you can fight unabated with such a wound."

"Oh, you think so?" Sylphia asked, her left hand glowing with a green light before she placed it over her wound. In almost an instant the flesh rapidly reformed itself until it was fully restored. "Miss Marvell isn't the only one who has access to such potent healing after all," Sylphia told him. "There used to be dozens of healing arts besides Sky Dragon Slayer magic that mages once had access to. I've mastered them all."

Yhwach nodded. "I see. It seems that I'll have no other choice but to behead you to be absolutely certain of your demise."

"Don't get too far ahead of yourself!" Slyphia declared, as she twirled her staff before slamming it to the ground, an icy chill beginning to fill the air. "Ice Make: Snow Tiger Ambush!"

Six tigers made of ice came into existence from the chill that had surrounded her, taking off in a charge towards the Quincy king. Yhwach smirked, his blade at the ready. He ducked under one of the creatures of ice and swung his sword, cutting the beast in half. Five more tigers came running towards him, but the Quincy emperor merely pointed his index finger at them, and fired out multiple blasts of light, destroying them outright.

"Did you really think such theatric's would allow you to defeat me?" Yhwach inquired. "Surely you know better than-"

"Dragon Slayer Secret Art, Blazing Fury: Plasma Vortex Assault!"

Yhwach turned around, the goddess somehow managing to appear right behind him, her body surrounded by a fiery dark purple and red vortex. She swung her staff towards his direction as the flames shot forth, Yhwach responding in kind with a swing of his sword, parting the flames before they made contact. "Not a bad spell, but I've already seen a move similar to that one before, you'll find it won't-"

However, Sylphia was far from finished, the progenitor of all mages having only just gotten started. She pointed the tip of her staff at Yhwach, a small black orb forming around its tip. "Lightning Gods Charged Particle Cannon!" Yet, as the magnificent blast of black lighting shot forth from her staff, Sylphia was still not done, and aimed the palm of her left hand at Yhwach, as a black wind formed around it. "Sky God's Boreas!"

Yhwach's eyes widened with concern as the dual God Slayer technique hurtled towards him. Knowing that Blute Vene would not be enough, He thrust his own left hand forward, and a circle of light surrounded his very being before it shot off from the ground and transformed into eight rays of jagged light. "Heiliger Pfähler!"

Light clashed with the dual onslaught of thunder and wind, the black mixing with the brilliant blue light until the attacks burst into a mighty explosion. Sylphia narrowed her eyes, trying to locate Yhwach, only to sense his presence right behind her. The Quincy monarch was already in mid swing, his blade mere centimeters away from making contact with her own skin. There was simply no time to evade by normal means.

Thankfully, Sylphia was anything but normal.

"Shinra Force!"

With only seconds left to spare did an invisible force blast out from the goddess's body, forcing Yhwach's blade, and the quincy kaiser himself, to go hurtling across the room. He rolled across the floor, until he used his left hand to grasp at the ground, bringing himself to a complete halt. He stood to his feet, only to feel something wet across his forehead. He quickly swept at it with his left hand…Only to find his palm covered in blood.

However, rather than express any sort of anger, he smirked. "I see. Repulsive Force Magic. How useful," Yhwach complimented her. "I can see now why the gods feared you enough to ascend you to the divine realm."

Syplhia gave him a slight smile. "I take it that you're impressed?"

Yhwach nodded. "I am indeed. But not simply because you can utilize so many forms of Lost Magic, though it is an impressive feat in itself. No, what I am truly impressed by, is how you placed the two of us in an alternate reality at the start of this battle."

Syplhia blinked, taken aback by his deductive abilities. "Well now, I didn't think you'd have figured it out so soon." Her expression harened. "It's true. I knew that a conflict with you would be much too disastrous for the human world if I were to fight you. Thus, I used an improved spell from an old friend of mine to create a perfect replica of all of Earthland. The land, the oceans, the skies, and trees, and every last city that mankind has created. Even the stars that surrounded us. I've perfectly replicated it all with my own power. The only things that do not exist in this world are sapient or sentient life. I call it Universe 0."

"A wise decision on your part," Yhwach informed her. "Had our battle not been moved, then the lives of all of Fairy Tail…No, all of Earthland would have been forfeit, save for Acnologia and the Five Dragon Gods."

"So I suppose you'd be willing to lay down your arms and simply go about your day?" Sylphia asked, giving him a slight smile. "I hear there's a wonderful festival about to take place. You should enjoy it."

Yhwach glared at her. "Don't patronize me with your attempts at pacifism. Neither of us has showcased even a fifth of what we're truly capable of. Do you really think a battle of this caliber would be enough for me to even consider the idea of retreat? The fact of the matter was that I was hoping you would use such a spell once our battle began. Now the two of us can battle unrestrained, without the concern of damage to the mortal world."

Sylphia sighed. "I suppose I should have known it would have been no use. Still, you can't blame a goddess for trying. It's such a shame. I truly had hoped we could settle this peacefully," Her eyes narrowed and her magic built up around her, the surrounding debris lifting up in the air before completely disintegrating in her presence. "But I suppose against the likes of you, nothing short of truly significant force will be enough to convince you to submit."

Yhwach responded in kind, his reiatsu increasing to greater heights than it had against his battle with the partially awakened E.N.D. "Then by all means, show me what the progenitor of all mages is truly capable of!"

Sylphia slammed her staff onto the ground, her magical power surging to levels far beyond that of the Wizard Saints and calmly uttered one of the most powerful spells in all of Earthland. "Sacred Light-"

Yhwach smirked, rushing straight ahead. "Do you really believe I'll allow you to cast that spell?! How foolish!"

The Quincy king knew exactly what spell she was preparing to use. Given how it takes the magic council an hour ro prepare that spell, you're probably able to fire it in a mere thirty seconds. Unfortunately for you, that's more than enough time for me to-"

(Song of choice: Forze Finale)

"Etherion."

Yhwach's eyes widened considerably, sensing the immensely powerful spell fired down far quicker than he had anticipated. Wanting to escape the blast radius, Sylphia disappeared from the room, teleporting high above Ishgar. As the brilliant light struck Magnolia, both it and everything within the entirety of not just Fiore, but Boso and Seven as well, were completely and utterly annihilated. In its wake was a massive crater that spread out far as the eye could see, leaving nothing left of the devastated nations.

Sylpia narrowed her eyes as smoke filled the air, knowing full well that Etherion alone would not be enough to win her this battle. Her suspicion was proven sound the moment the smoke cleared. There was Yhwach, the Quincy king glaring at her intensely through the protective barrier of Blut Anhaben.

Then, before Sylphia could determine her next spell, Yhwach appeared right above her, and swung his sword down. She blocked with her staff just in time, but the strength of his blow was too much, hurtling her through several mountains in the country of Iceberg. Sylphia came to an abrupt halt, her feet skidding across the frozen tundra, only to quickly jump up into the air, narrowly avoiding yet another one of Yhwach's strikes, the shockwave of which cleaving an entire mountain in two.

The Goddess spun her staff, and a magnificent golden magic circle formed in front of her body as she prepared her next spell.

"Abyss Break!"

As the massive torrent of darkness fired towards Yhwach, the Quincy king pointed his sword above his head. The sky glowed with a bright blue light, and a gigantic Heilig Bogen formed above him, alongside several massive Heilig Pfiel.

"Sankt Bogen!"

The bow let the arrows loose, hurtling towards Sylphia's spell. Light and Darkness clashed, quickly erupting into a mighty explosion that rocked the land. Yhwach took off into the air, his body adorned with more bruises. However, as he made his accent, Sylphia instantly appeared right behind him with teleportation, her staff now adorned with an ethereal blade.

"Celestial Blade!"

She swung the attack at Yhwach, the force of the swing devastating the land below. The emperor of Bosco attempted to block the magical blade with his own, but her spell was too strong, cracking his blade. Then, with a determined yell, Sylphia parried his weapon to the right, resulting in a shockwave destroying several artificial towns and forests below them.

Skating backwards with Hirenkyaku, Yhwach formed an ornate bow in his hand and fired off several Heilig Pfiel towards her. However, much like his attacks from before, the Goddess used her staff to deflect each one, the errant arrows leaving large craters in the earth. But it seemed his initial onslaught of arrows was only the beginning, the Quincy kaiser having already fired out several dozen more arrows hurtled towards her.

The progenitor of all wizards let out a silent gasp at the onslaught, knowing that this next onslaught would be much harder to block. A change of strategy was in order. Thus, she closed her eyes, power focusing around the soles of her feet, preparing to utilize a spell from one of Fairy Tail's less renowned members.

"HighSpeed: Falcon Heavenward!"

Rocketing across the sky with greatly enhanced speed, Sylphia kicked Yhwach in the chest, hurting him through the sky. Yhwach, fortunate that he activated Blut Vene to lessen the impact of the kick, crashed through an entire mountain range before he came to an abrupt halt. However, rather than engage her in close quarters combat yet again, the emperor instead chose to kneel down and place his spare hand onto the earth, glaring at the goddess.

"Leichte Hände der Erde."

Several dozen massive hands of blue light shot up from the ground towards Sylphia, the goddess slicing one of the limbs in half with her staff's newly formed blade, before another one attempted to grab her. She soared over the hand and swung her ethereal blade through the artificial hand, only for one of the other hands to grab her from behind. She let out a mighty shout, magic bursting from her body and forcing the hand to let go of her…only for another hand of light to slam down on her from above.

As she hurtled towards the ground, the goddess pointed her staff at the earth. Fortunately, she had just a spell for the occasion. "Liquid Ground!" The terrain beneath her softened, but Sylphia didn't use this spell merely to soften her fall. Just as she fell several feet short of impacting the ground, the now malleable element shot upwards, stopping the remaining hands of light Yhwach created from punching down at her. Yet, there was no time to rest, as Yhwach himself shot downwards through the hands of light and earth and his sword poised to thrust right through her.

Just as she hoped he would.

"Storm Bringer!"

The Goddess spun around with her staff, and a gargantuan Tornado shot up into the air, catching the Quincy king in its mighty vortex. Despite his best efforts, Yhwach was unable to maintain a firm reishi foothold in the air with the intense wind. As things stood, he was trapped, flung about in the sky as the wind began to cut into his very skin.

It was not to last.

"Göttlicher Blitz!"

A massive bolt of blue lightning shot down from the heavens, disrupting the mighty tornado and hurtled towards Sylphia. Her eyes widening, Sylpha teleported out of the way, only to reappear right behind the Quincy king, swinging her bladed staff down at his back. Unfortunately for her, Yhwach had grown accustomed to her teleportation, pivoting to the left to avoid her strike and slashed her across the chest. Sylphia let out a sharp cry, only for Yhwach to slam his foot into her stomach, sending her flying.

Sylphia placed her hand over her chest, promptly healing her wounds while wind magic flowed around her body to stop her momentum. After coming to a complete stop, she glanced down at a massive city littered with buildings. She waved her staff over the metropolis, plucking the thousands of buildings out from the earth and into the sky behind her. Her gaze turned towards Yhwach and pointed her staff at the Quincy king, commanding every building under her command to hurtle towards him.

Yhwach, however, simply formed a massive bow above him and uttered a mere two words.

"Licht Regen."

Tens of thousands of arrows of light crashed into the buildings, in what initially appeared to be an equal clash. However, Sylphia's buildings were only finite in their number, opposed to Yhwach' nigh infinite supply of arrows and it quickly became clear just who was about to come out on top of this exchange. However, as Yhwach's barrage began to overcome the goddesses, Sylphia took a deep breath, leaning her body back before she lurched forward.

"Plasma Dragon's Roar!"

A massive blast of purple and red blasted out from Sylphia's mouth, destroying Yhwach's onslaught of arrows and slamming into the Quincy king. The king went back several miles in the air, the sleeve of his right arm completely destroyed until Yhwach came to an abrupt halt mid air.

Yhwach glanced at his arm, the limb covered in light burns. In spite of this injury, however, he smirked. "A decent counter. However, I-"

"Arc of Embodiment: Tower of Dinger!"

A massive ornate tower shot out from the earth, slamming into the Quincy king and engulfing him, and half of Iceberg in a mighty blast. Sylphia looked on from the ground, hoping to have some significant damage with her most recent spell. However as the dust cleared, it was not to be. Yhwach stood in the air, bleeding slightly across his right arm, but despite his new injuries, his smirk hadn't diminished.

"Sankt Bogen."

As a massive bow and arrow formed behind him, firing five gargantuan Heilig Pfiel at unbelievable speeds. She pointed her left hand outward, and began to chant. "That which dwells in my left hand is a golden shield that pushes back everything! Arc of Embodiment: Golden Shield!"

A magnificent Gold Shield appeared in her hand just in time, the arrows mere inches from striking her. The moment they made contact, a massive blast shot through the earth, destroying the remnants of the frozen countryside of Iceberg. Her shield held against the first two arrows, but the third left a massive crack that the fourth only exasperated, before the fifth and final arrow broke through the shield and slammed her stomach, forcing her to roll across the ground.

Yet, despite this recent injury, the goddess got up to her feet, her torn attire revealing silver scales where the arrow made impact. However, this last minute defense was far from perfect, a web of cracks ran over the scales, along with a small trickle of blood falling to the ground.

"I see. Silver Dragon Scales is it?" Yhwach asked. "I hope you don't expect a Silver Dragon's defense would be enough to allow you to withstand my might."

"No, I certainly don't," Sylphia proclaimed. She took a moment to kneel down, picking up a tiny pebble from off the ground. "But I also hope you don't expect your arrows alone will be able to get the job done."

The Goddess cocked her hand back, ice cladding her left arm and formed itself into an elongated gauntlet, before she tossed the pebble as hard as she could.

"Ice-Make: Vambrace!"

The quincy king couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, confused at her choice of tactic. Even with the Ice Make spell enhancing her throw, surly she doesn't expect such a tiny rock to be capable of-"

"Command T: Expansion!"

Almost immediately did the small pebble change form, transforming from a small, insignificant rock, to a mass of earth comparable to the largest of Mountains. His eyes widening, Yhwach attempted to cut through the mountain with his sword, but the speed of the gargantuan object was simply too fast, with both it, and the Quincy king, sent hurtling past the very clouds themselves.

I suppose if I'm lucky enough, that ought to have pushed him past the boundaries of the mesosphere. Sylphia thought. I doubt he'll stay up their long enough to suffocate, but that should at least give me enough time to formulate my next move-

Only for a massive pillar of light to fire down from the sky just a few feet from where she stood. The attack destroyed what little remained of the remains of Iceberg, dust filling the air. However, as Sylphia tried to glance through all the debris, she could make out a bright light in the middle of it all, no doubt the source behind the destruction.

Her eyes narrowed, until she finally got a good look.

"A sword?"

It was certainly no ordinary blade, however. In terms of its shape and appearance, it was completely unlike the one Yhwach had used prior. The weapon before her eyes was made entirely out of light, opposed to the ornate eagle winged sword he had been using up until now. Yet, in spite of this, she knew the weapon well.

"This is…"

"Yes, the very same weapon I used to execute Genryusai."

Sylphia's eyes widened as Yhwach appeared right next to the weapon, her grip on her staff tightening. To think he'd be able to travel back down here so quickly…

"You should feel honored, Sylphia Nelia LaBelle," Yhwach declared, removing his sword from the ground. "This is a weapon I only use on those who I consider a genuine threat to myself, for executing the most dangerous of foes. Take it as a sign of respect, Goddess of Camaraderie!"

He appeared right before her, his sword held high, and swung his new weapon down at Sylphia. She brought up her staff to defend, but Yhwach's new weapon cut through it with ease, allowing the blade of light to cut her across her chest.

Sylphia cried out, pain flowing through her body, but Yhwach attempted to thrust his blade forward, intending to end the battle here and now. With her staff in a state of ruin, the goddess was left with no choice but to create a plethora of weapons with her Titanium Make magic. Unfortunately, these proved no more effective than her staff, each and every single one slashed in two, with a new injury to follow in the wake of their destruction.

Her waist, right shoulder, left hip, and even one of her lungs, each of these locations were either cut or pierced with the Quincy Kings blade in some way. Yhwach smirked as he attempted one last thrust, fully intending to skewer her. However, just as the sword's tip was about to pierce her skin did the goddess vanish from sight.

Yhwach frowned. No doubt this was a result of her teleportation magic. However, rather than get upset, he merely closed his eyes, trying to sense her current location.

Run as much as you like, Goddess of Camaraderie. You're only delaying the inevitable.

Meanwhile, over in the replica country of Joya, the Goddess of Camaraderie panted with exhaustion, taking this respite to heal herself once more. Her eyes closed, her mind focused to hurry along the healing process. I knew that defeating him would be no easy feat, but I never expected he'd be capable of injuring me to this extent without his Almighty eyes. I suppose it's to be expected from the son of Reio.

Her wounds healed quickly thankfully, but that didn't change the fact that he had come close to killing her twice. It had been over a thousand years since she had ever been placed in such a perilous situation. In her attempt to stop him, had she gone over her head?

The goddess dissuaded her worries with a shake of her head. No, it's not that. I've been foolishly naive. I've been hoping he'd surrender before things got to this point. That I could spare his life. But from this point onwards…I'll have to fight with the intent to kill.

"That Teleportation spell of yours is certainly quite useful. However, it seems you're unable to travel very far in your current condition."

Sylphia's eyes shot open as the King of the Quincy appeared behind her, a confident smirk now adorning his face. He slowly walked towards her, his sword at the ready. "To be honest, I had much greater expectations of your power. If this is the most you can do, then I see no reason why I need to fear any of your fellow deities. Surrender now, and I'll see to it that you'll receive a swift and painless death."

Sylphia gladed at the king as she slowly rose up to her feet. "You have my most sincere apologies, Yhwach."

That was certainly not the response he had been expecting, his eyebrow raised. "You're apologizing? To me? Has fear of death driven you mad?" He asked "Or is this an attempt to plead for Fairy Tail's lives? Fear not, I have no intention of killing -"

Sylphia shook her head. "You're mistaken. While I appreciate your word that you won't take the lives of my most beloved mortals, I have no intention of begging for anyone's life, not even my own. No, I'm apologizing for another matter entirely."

Magic began to flow around the progenitor of wizardry, shaking the entirety of the artificial Earthland. "The first reason I wish to apologize is for not coming at you with all my power right from the start. I was hoping that I could force you into submission and solve this peacefully with

only a bit of force. However, it appears that you have far more of your strength than you had let on in your battle against E.N.D. I see now that if I am to emerge victorious then I must utilize my full might. Unfortunately, you very well may not survive."

Her stern expression turned solemn, her body glowing with a golden light. "In doing so, I'll rid two kind daughters of their last remaining parent and rid your empire of its ruler. What I'm apologizing for is not doing what must be done, but for hurting those who rely on you."

Sylphia held her hand outwards, the space around the palm of her right hand beginning to tear itself open. Out from the distortion of space came a sword handle with two red diamond's resting atop its rectangular like shape, save for the two spikes jutting out on each side. She grasped the handle, eyes closed, her mind thinking back to days long past. To her day's as a human.

There were many memories, both good and bad. However, the ones that preoccupied her mind were those of her dear comrades and the many adventures they had taken. Amongst all of them, however, one singular man took center stage with flowing blonde hair, and blue eyes, with the most sincere of smiles plastered over his face.

A blade of white light burst forth from the sword's handle, briefly covering the entirety of the world in a bright light before it ceased. As her eyes looked over the magical blade, her gaze fell back upon the Quincy monarch, the blade of light pointing right at him.

Eric…May your sword bring me victory!

Yhwach smirked, his gaze focused on the weapon in her hand. "Ahh, I see. The legendary Luminescence Blade. One of the very few weapons in existence capable of harming even The Five Dragon God's and Acnologia. To think that it was in your possession. But, do you really think that a mere change of weapons will allow you to-"

(Song of choice: Dark Domination. World of Tres ORCHESTRA MIX)

"Meteor!"

In the midst of Yhwach's taunting, Sylphia's body enshrouded itself with a golden light and sped over towards him, cutting him diagonally across the chest, the blade of light blade cutting through Blut Vene with ease.

Yhwach's feet skid across the ground, only to rush forward, bringing his own sword of light to bear. Just as the Quincy king went in for a mighty swing, Sylphia swung her own sword to counter. The two blades of light clashed against one another, their blades parrying to the right, unleashing a shockwave shooting across the sea, obliterating the island capital of Stella in the process.

With newfound speed Sylphia blitzed around Yhwach. His eyes tried to keep track of her great speed, but she was simply too fast. The goddess cut him across the back, forcing him to stumble forward before he tried to swing back. However, the moment he had, Sylphia already moved behind him and thrust her blade. Yhwach felt the tip of her blade press against his back, but she could fully rub him through with her weapon, the Quincy monarch vanished.

Immediately sensing his presence, Slyphia leapt back, avoiding a barrage of arrows raining down from above. With Meteor still enhancing her speed, she dodged and weaved through the onslaught as she attempted to close the distance between them. Yet, much to her surprise, Yhwach descended far quicker than she thought possible, forcing her to block with the Luminance Blade and sending her crashing to the ground.

"To think, you would actually force me to use a technique I had once deemed too risky for my Sternritter," Yhwach proclaimed, Blitzrakete Schritt flowing through his body before it ceased. "But fortunately for myself, it seems that my perfect control over reishi allows me to utilize this technique in short bursts before any potential drawbacks become an issue."

Now with his newfound speed Yhwach soared downward and swung his blade down once more, forcing Sylphia to pivot on her feet to avoid the attack. Presented with an opening, she attempted to slash Yhwach across the back, but a quick burst of Blitzrakete Schritt allowed him to avoid the strike. The Emperor of Bosco tried to follow her example, as he tried to impale the goddess through her back. His blade hit nothing, however, the goddess utilizing teleportation once again, her blade of light in mid swing. Unfortunately for Sylphia, however, Yhwach managed to turn around and block the attack with his sword, the earth behind him giving away and forming into a massive chasm.

Their eyes met as they locked blades, raising up their respective free hands pointed at one another. From Yhwach's hand several powerful Heilig Pfiel shit forth. From Sylphia's, a golden ray of light. The moment the two forces met, both Goddess and Quincy king alike were blown back, destroying several hundred miles of earth from the exchange.

However, rather than take this as a brief moment of reprieve, the two rushed forward once more, Hirenkyaku and Meteor enhancing their speed. Again and again did blades of blue and white light clash, each resulting in the utter annihilation of the terrain that surrounded them. Yet despite their best efforts, neither was able to land any significant blows against the other, managing at most to lightly pierce the other's skin with glancing blows.

That was about to change, however, as their high-speed clash throughout Ishgar quickly took them over to the vibrant and massive rainforests of Minstrel, where the tree's themselves were as large as skyscrapers. The goddess Slyplhia raised up her left hand into the air, a massive green magical circle forming around

one of the massive trees.

"Wood Make: 1000 Headed Dragon!"

A gargantuan dragon made of wood burst up from the magical circle, the magnificent tree transformed, and took to the sky with its wings. True to its name, it did indeed possess one thousand heads, each of them glaring down at the Quincy king.

"Now, Great Tree Arc: Bleve!"

The dragon let out a fearsome roar before each of its heads spewed out mighty explosive blasts towards Yhwach. However, the Quincy king slammed his left hand down, and a massive Quincy cross made of light emerged from the ground.

"Gottes Querschild!"

The magnificent Quincy cross blocked the blast from the mighty wood dragon. However, it soon proved futile, the blasts from the Wood dragon simply too much for the spell to hold, shattering the cross and littering the land with a volley explosions. The Quincy emperor burst out from the dust cloud and soared towards the Wooden dragon. Channeling Blut Arterie, Yhwach's sword cleaved the dragon in two, its two halves falling to the ground.

"Great Tree Arc: Ramus Sica!"

Trillions of pieces of wooden shrapnel shot out from the remaining massive trees of the country of Minstrel towards Yhwach, but the Quincy king merely swung his sword at the attack, the shockwave destroying them while simultaneously cutting down hundreds of massive trees. "Surely you didn't think such a pitiful technique would give you any sort of leeway," Yhwach said. "Either you've grown desperate or it's merely -" He glanced towards Sylphia as hundreds of vines shot upwards in his direction, and gave her a knowing smile. "A distraction."

Yhwach swung his blade at the onslaught of vines, cutting several dozen down at a time. However, the number of vines Sylphia had unleashed proved to be too much, and several of them wrapped around each of his limbs, leaving him trapped in the air.

Embedding her sword to the ground, Sylphia enshrouded herself in a barrier of light. She then took both of her hands and slammed them together as the ground beneath Yhwach glowed with a brilliant orange hue.

"Terra Clamare!"

The two halves of the One Hundred headed Dragon, along with the entirety of the rainforest began to glow a bright orange before they combusted in a magnificent explosion shaking the artificial Earthland as it spewed outward, the pillar of flame blasting out past the stratosphere. The entirety of the landscape of Minstrel was left completely barren, nothing more than a massive crater. However, despite the horrific sight, the goddess smiled, believing she had finally managed to land a definitive hit.

"Sternenlicht Schwall!"

Sylphia's eyes shot upwards, only to widen in horror. A million arrows, fired down from the heavens, threatening to engulf her. Thinking quickly on her feet, she pointed her sword at the incoming Heilig Pfiel and uttered her next spell.

"Arc of Time. Freeze Frame!"

The innumerable barrage of arrows, once moving at blindingly fast speed, began to slow to a crawl, their speed decreasing more and more before they came to a complete and total stop. She let out a sigh of relief, the Goddess having been unsure if she could have stopped them all. So Arc of Time is effective against him. I suppose "The Almighty" truly is no longer in his possession after a-

"Quelkreis!"

Sylphia's eyes widened once more as Yhwach's voice rang through her ears, only to find herself trapped within a circular cage of blue light. One of the eight bars shot out a Heilig Pfiel towards Sylphia, but the goddess deflected it with her sword. Unfortunately this was only the beginning, as another one of the jail bars fired out a similar shot, though it too met with a similar result. More arrows of intense blue light followed, each one deflected like the rest.

However, much to her horror, the arrows that she had already parried began to circle around and strike back. Gasping in horror, she spun around to deflect them once again, but the bars of light that surrounded her continued to fire arrow after arrow. Despite her best efforts, the barrage of arrows only continued to increase, with each deflected Heilig Pfiel rebounding back towards her, with more still firing out.

Not good, I can't concentrate enough to teleport or use Arc of Time! Slyphia dismayed, frantically parrying an arrow aimed towards her head, only for the next to strike her in the back, forcing her to stumble forward into the path of another. She had already activated her Silver Dragon Scales as a precaution, but the defense would only hold for so long, the scales already broken where they had been struck.

The longer this goes on, the more damage I'll take and the more stamina I'll lose! Sylphia realized, just barely bringing up her sword in time to block another Heilig Pfiel, only for another to shoot right through her right leg. Her teeth grit, holding in the pain. There's no choice. It'll drain more magic than I'd like, but it's my only choice!

Yhwach smirked as his cage of light continued to belt the goddess with arrows, each of the bars now charging up an especially powerful Heilig Pfiel. "Quite impressive. No one aside from Genryusai has survived in Quelkreis as long as you have. However, it's beyond evident that you've reached your limit," The Quincy emperor smirked. "Now, fade into Oblivion, Sylphia Nelia LaBelle."

Sylphia closed her eyes as eight Heilig Pfiel of incredible might, each with enough power to kill a Captain level Shinigami, shot towards her, along with all the others that had been fired prior, rebounding for what was no doubt a death sentence. However, just as the attacks were mere inches away from skewering her did Sylphia softly utter two words.

"Fairy Sphere."

A massive barrier of golden light expanded from her body, destroying all of the Helig Pfiel that were mere centimeters away from taking her life, and dispelling Yhwach's Quelkreis. The Quincy king used Hirenkyaku to evade the ever expanding barrier, appearing high into the air and glancing down at it.

"Sankt Bogen."

A massive bow formed behind him, unleashing several powerful arrows at the golden barrier. However, each and every single one of them bounced off of its surface, leaving not so much as scratch. Yhwach narrowed his eyes at the golden orb. "So that's Fairy Sphere, the Ultimate Defensive spell. I see now that it lives up to its reputation. However, surely you realize that you'll never be able to defeat me if you keep yourself within that barrier."

"Oh I'm well aware."

Yhwach's eyes widened as Fairy Sphere faded before his very eyes. He quickly turned around towards the direction of Sylphia's voice, only to find the Goddess standing right behind him, her left arm already cocked back along with a serious expression adorning her face.

"Crushing Evil, Spreading The Truth: Empyrean!"

The Quincy emperor had quickly shifted to Blut Vene, but the moment her fist and Crash Magic made contact with his stomach, it became clear that his defense technique wouldn't be anywhere near enough. Yhwach coughed up blood, several of his ribs cracking from the attack, his body sent hurtling through the horizon. His body crashed through mountain after mountain, tree after tree, until his body finally hit the ground, rolling across the terrain and even across the waters of the ocean itself.

Finally, after thirty seconds of nonstop momentum, Yhwach was finally able to come to a complete stop, using ethernano to create a foothold atop the ocean. Slowly, he brought himself up, only to lurch forward, puking out blood into the sea.

Yet even in spite of his injury, his lips curled upward.

No one besides Genryusai, Ichbie Hyosubie and Ichigo Kurosaki has ever managed to wound me so thoroughly. To think that her level of power would be so close to theirs!

He had certainly expected a fight of some kind, but nothing like this. In all of the futures he had bore witness to in his dreams, Sylphia had rarely, if ever, been allowed to battle outside of the divine realm. Any and all futures in which they fought had usually been with the accompaniment of her fellow deities by her side, or he with his Sternritter. Neither had shown how a proper one on one battle would have gone between them. It was a completely and totally unknown outcome.

His heart began to race at the sheer thought of it. Not out of fear…but the thrill of the unknown!

To think that I would feel the thrill of battle once more. You're a special one indeed, Goddess of Camaraderie.

Sylphia appeared right above Yhwach with of teleportation, but just as Yhwach prepared to bring forth his bow to continue the battle, his attention was instantly grabbed elsewhere as multiple massive pillars of water shot up into the sky and above Sylphia's head, her blade of light pointing to the heavens. As more and more water flowed upward into her next spell, the Quincy king quickly glanced downwards, only for his jaw to drop at what he saw. Or to be precise, what he didn't see under him.

You mean to tell me that, she's gathered up all of Earthlands water into this one spell!? Yhwach realized, before he began to unleash a barrage of Heilig Pfiel at the goddess. However, just as he unleashed this onslaught of arrows, did a gargantuan serpentine dragon materialize from all of the water Sylphia had managed to conjure up before it let out a massive roar at the Yhwach.

Sylphia, for her part, simply glared at the Quincy king, and swung her sword downward.

"Water Make: Torrential Tribute - Daedalus!"

The water serpent compressed of all of Earthlands Ocean's slammed down on the Quincy king, hurtling through the barrage of arrows with no resistance. The attack was too fast to dodge, crashing Yhwach against the barren ocean floor, refilling up the artificial construct of Earthland with its vast seas once more within only the span of ten seconds.

Sylphia teleported over the mass expanse of water, glancing downward. The ocean's pressure should keep him occupied long enough for my plan to come into fruition. I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but you've left me with no choice.

Slowly she floated down to the water's surface, and let out a depressed sigh. "It's such a shame, you could have been a great Emperor for your people if you hadn't-"

Only for Yhwach to burst forth from the ocean, the Quincy king having propelled himself through the vast depth of the ocean and thrust his blade through the goddess's body. She cried out as an intense, sharp pain ran throughout her body. Propelling magic around herself, a repulsive shockwave erupted from her body shoving him away. Unfortunately, the damage had already been done. Her spine was heavily damaged and many of her intestines pierced. Her breath now erratic, she placed a hand over the new hole over her stomach as she attempted to heal herself.

"Did you really believe that mere water pressure would reduce my speed? " Yhwach inquired before he swiped his blade clear of the blood that covered his blade. "You've underestimated me once again, Sylphia."

Sylphia, in spite of her horrible injuries, closed her eyes as she prepared to utilize her next spell. An intense chill began to fill the air, her heavy breathing became visible and the water beneath her feet began to turn to ice. Having regained her composure, she crossed her arms in front of her into an X shaped pattern and the chill only began to increase with four magical circles coming into being, surrounding Yhwach on all sides. Her eyes shot wide open, her body slowly turning into ice.

"No, you've underestimated my resolve."

Yhwach's eyes were fraught with worry, knowing full well just what that spell was, what it was capable of…and the cost to its user.

She wouldn't dare-

"ICED SHELL!"

Now fully transformed into ice, her body shattered into dozens of pieces and shot out towards Yhwach. The Quincy Monarch tried to swing his sword to dispel the great magical circles that surrounded him, but it was too late, her body having already made contact with the magic circles. A bright light filled the sky, and soon, within mere moments, the entire ocean had been frozen completely solid. On its surface rested a massive shell shaped dome, almost three times the size of Fiore itself, the king of the quincy trapped within.

"Well, that was a little close. Thank goodness I decided to take some precautions and used a duplicate in my place."

The true purple haired goddess floated down from the sky, standing just a few feet away from the newly created ice dome. She placed her hand against it, sensing the energy that flowed through it. She had been initially worried that using a clone in her place would have resulted in an inferior version of the spell, but that thankfully was not to be.

Clone Magic often isn't worth the hassle. Sylphia thought. It'll either split you up into hundreds of copies of yourself that can disperse with a mere poke, or split yourself into separate emotional personalities. In order to make a clone that's even a third of the strength of the original user, without a personality change, a quarter of the caster's magic must be used in the attempt. Normally it's not viable in battle. But for situations such as these…well, I suppose I can't argue with the results.

No, that wasn't quite true. Even though she had now emerged victorious, she still couldn't help but lament that things had gone the way that they had. While the son of the soul king had fully intended to kill her, along with her fellow deities, she was aware that his intentions were founded on the basis of trying to make a 'better world'. That in itself was not what she took issue with, but the cost to create such a utopia was simply too high. Nevertheless, she fully understood why he felt the way that he did.

After all, they both suffered the same loss from similar circumstances.

"Well, at least now it's over," Sylphia remarked as she began to float away from the Iced Shell. She would no doubt have to find a way to teleport the construct of ice somewhere discreet in Earthland. Taking him to the Divine realm to hide it simply wasn't an option, as there existed a few gods of chaotic nature that would no doubt try to free him simply to watch it all burn due to the aspects they governed. Now it was simply a matter of knowing where to-

"Bankai: Zanka No Tachi."

Sylphia's eyes widened and let out a horrified gasp as she heard the voice. Almost instantly did the chill of the air change into a dry heat, her body covering itself with a massive sweat. Then, right before her eyes did the dome of ice melt, and in the span of only a few mere seconds did the frozen ocean return to its former self, along with the massive dome that she had created mere moments ago.

However, as the Quincy king now stood before her, the water that surrounded him began to steam up and the entirety of the ocean began to evaporate. His blade of light seemed to have disappeared, now replaced with his old steel, winged blade. But whereas the blade had once been pristine and well kept, it now appeared to be charred and worn. Yhwach took a sudden step forward in the air, while Sylphia took an instinctive step back.

"To think, you would actually force me to utilize Genryusai's Bankai," Yhwach spoke while he trekked towards her, the goddess of camaraderie continuing her own steps back. "You continue to impress me more and more, Sylphia. Up until now I have simply kept the Bankai in my possession to simply prevent that fool from ever having access to it ever again in this world we find ourselves in. But now I see that if I am to ensure your defeat, that I will have to utilize the most powerful abilities of one of my most hated foes."

He pointed his sword at the goddess and smirked. "Now, brace yourself, Sylphia. For you are about to experience the same fear, pain, and demise as countless quincy did over one thousand years ago."

(Song of choice: Hellfire. Final Fantasy 15 OST)

The quincy king took off from his foothold in the air, a trail of fire left in his wake. Sylphia, knowing that she couldn't evade him at such speed when he was this close, brought up her sword to defend instinctively. However, the moment their blades touched, an invisible explosive force blasted Sylphia away, crashing on the coast of Midi. The Goddess had no choice but to scream in agony, an unbelievable pain ravaging her body, the right side of her body was completely covered in third degree burns. It was easily among some of the worst pain she had ever experienced… But she still lived.

Yhwach, meanwhile, glanced down at his blade, frowning. I see. So it seems that not even I can escape this flaw of the Medallion.

"Zanka No Tachi East: Kyokujutsujin." Slyphia spoke weakly while the right side of her body rapidly healed itself. "Anything that blade comes into contact with is hit with flame so intense that they're blown out of existence. Had I been hit by this technique's true power, I would have no doubt perished. Unfortunately for you, however, it seems that even one such as yourself is unable to utilize the Bankai's true strength."

Yhwach sneered at Sylphia, her wounds now fully restored. "Be that as it may, it should be more than enough to suffice in slaying you. The power I have access to may not be its full capacity, but I can still utilize its power to be greater than it was 1000 years ago!"

Yhwach leapt up into the air and tried to slash down where Sylphia stood. The Goddess teleported herself away from the blade's explosive might, knowing that defending against such a technique was next to impossible. Her decision was quickly proven sound, the moment the tip touched the ground, the entire country of Midi was disintegrated from the explosive force of the blast.

Yhwach turned his head towards Slyphia's presence, the Goddess floating above him with a spell already prepared, a swirling mass of darkness emerging in the palm of her left hand. Slyphia's fingers curled around the mass before she cried out its name.

"Black Hole!"

The swirling black void hurtled at Yhwach, the Emperor of Bosco swinging his sword to counter the spell. The minute the tip came into contact with it, the darkness was completely annihilated, along with a vast chunk of the earth below. Yhwach smirked, while, Slyphia's eyes widened with worry.

"Using intense Gravity as a weapon to overcome the heat of Zanka No Tachi? Not a bad idea in theory. After all, gravity can't simply be melted away. Unfortunately for you, however, the gap in power that now exists between us is simply too much for such logic to apply."

Sylphia narrowed her eyes and concentrated her magic. "We'll just see about that!" She proclaimed and a huge silver magical circle formed under the palm of her left hand. Anything that comes into contact with his sword will no doubt be destroyed. If I'm going to win, then I'll just have to hope his other abilities have been lessened enough so I can inflict some damage!

"Titanium Make: Knight of Titanio!: Grande Guerriero!"

A gigantic Knight wearing an ornate Titanium armor came into existence, standing well over 250 feet tall. It swung his colossal blade down at the Yhwach, but the Quincy king leapt above the strike, gave the enormous warrior a nasty grin and brought down his charred blade on its face.

The body of the knight was completely obliterated, leaving not even specks of dust to flow in the wind. However, Sylphia pointed her left hand where her knight had been moments ago, her eyes flashing with a purple light. "Arc of Time: Rewind!"

The atom's that once made up the Knights gargantuan structure came back into being and reformed back to a more visible size. However, rather than fully rewind to completely restore her creation, the Goddess stopped several steps short, the titanium now resembling large pieces of shrapnel that floated in the air.

She swung her hand down, commanding the thousands of sharp pieces of Titanium to pierce Yhwach. However, just as the first several dozen were about to connect with his skin, the metal melted instantly. Sylphia gasped while the rest of her barrage of metal proceeded to destroy itself against the Quincy King. No, don't tell me that he can still use -

"Come now, if you know that Zanka No Tachi had an East then surely you know that it has a West as well? Or…Perhaps you were simply hoping that my inexperience with this Bankai would prevent me from using this technique?" Yhwach asked her. "In that case…Allow me to show you the true form of your demise."

His body became enshrouded by a dark purple flame, the tips of his beard covered in the dark flames and the ground beneath his feet melted from its presence. "Zanka No Tachi West: Zanjitsu Gokui. In its present state, it burns at Five Million degrees Fahrenheit. As long as I have this technique activated, you can no longer touch me."

"Hydrogen Dragon's Typhoon!"

A massive swirling mass of water shot out of Slyphia's hands, hurtling towards Yhwach, but the Quincy king merely swung his sword at the small ocean she had fired forth, the water instantly evaporating.

"Did you sincerely think that utilizing water would allow you some sort of advantage?" Yhwach asked her. "Must I remind you? The power of Zanka No Tachi is not power over flames. Rather, it takes the reiatsu of the user and transforms it into an all encompassing heat. Were I to have fully mastered this Banka, it's possible its heat may end up exceeding that of the Sun's."

Something ran down Sylphia's spine. A feeling that she hadn't felt in over two thousand years, at least in regards to her own wellbeing.. Fear. How long had it been since she had ever encountered someone who had even a remote chance of taking her life? Far as she was concerned, this was only the third time she had ever experienced fear for her own life once she had ascended to Godhood.

However, Sylphia was not one to place her own safety over the fate of the world, her gaze turning stoic. I still have a few ways I can win this, but I'll have to do something about that stolen Bankai of his. It's far from ideal, but I'll have to draw out this battle a little longer before I can put a definitive end to this.

She pointed her sword in front of her and a massive magical circle of white light formed around her. "Arc of Embodiment: Sacred Guardian Beast,Maledizione The Dragon! Sacred Guardian Beast, Spadaccino Demoniaco! Sacred Guardian Beast, Meridian Golem! Sacred Guardian Beast, Belcusas The Thunderclap, and Sacred Guardian Beast, Belfast the Hurricane!"

Five creatures came into existence around her, each of them over forty feet tall. The closest one to her right was a yellow dragon with red eyes. Spikes jutted out from its top and bottom jaw, the back of its head, the corners of its wings, the side of its hips and its tail. It possessed no legs, simply choosing to fly above the ground. This was the Sacred Guardian Beast Maledizione The Dragon.

To her immediate left was a purple humanoid like demon with bat-like wings emerging from the top of his head, pupiless yellow eyes, a torn red cape, and a massive yellow scimitar like blade held at the ready. This was Sacred Guardian Beast Spadaccino Demoniaco.

The one further to her left was remarkably more simple. A massive humanoid Golem composed of bricks cracked its knuckles, its one distinct gesture being the singular ornate eye it had covering the entire block that made up its face. This was the Sacred Guardian Beast Meridian Golem.

Second to Last was a creature composed mostly of metal with lightning bolts running down both of its arms and a skull like head with two small horns protruding from it's forehead. This was the Sacred Guardian Beast Belcasas The Thunderclap.

Last but certainly not least was a gigantic black wivern with massive wings and a large gaping jaw. It had no eyes, but two massive spikes jutted out from the tips of its wings. This was The Sacred Guardian Beast, Belfast the Hurricane.

Yhwach smirked at the assorted creatures that Sylphia had brought into existence. "Ah, I see. Recreations of the Sacred Guardian Beasts. Each of them seems to have a power equivalent to that of a Captain Class Shinigami while in Bankai state. Yes, An impressive army indeed."

However, Yhwach simply pointed his sword to the ground, and smirked. "In that case, I suppose it's only natural then that I bring forth an army of my own!" The chatter blade embedded itself into the ground before Yhwach began to speak. "The Dead. Lend me your aid, and I shall give you a moment's joy of battle!"

The ground beneath them burst open, millions of charged black skeletons emerging from the ground, covering the landscape with their bodies and the sky turned into a dark red. The creaking of their bones filled the air as they rose up to their feet, many of them pointing their swords at Sylphia.

"Zanka No Tachi South: Kaka Jūmanokushi Daisōjin!"

Their bodies began to change forth, the skeletons beginning to shape as they began to wear uniforms of Shinigami, Quincy, and arrancar alike. Mask fragments, hollow holes, zanpaktou and Quincy bow soon appeared over the lot of them, but their faces and skin still remained that of charred black bone.

Yhwach faced Sylphia once more, now surrounded by the undead. "With the heat of Zanka No Tachi, I am able to revive the bodies of all of whom I've slain. While you God's have already procured the souls of all of the captain class shinigami I killed, I still have access to all of the other shinigami, Quincy, hollow and arrancar that I've slain a thousand years ago!"

He pointed his charred blade at Sylphia and her assembled monsters. "Now, let us see which army is superior. The army of the dead, or the army of Sacred Guardians!?"

Sacred Guardians Belcasas and Spadaccino Demoniaco charged the horde of the undead, running through an onslaught of Heilig Pfiel, Ceros and Kido. The two Sacred Guardians began to smash and slash their way through the massive horde, but a barrage of high level Kido began to push them back.

Meridian Golem punched the ground beneath him, creating a massive chasm that stretched out for miles while Maledizione and Belfast took to the skies. Maledizione unleashed a blast of chaotic darkness from its mouth, while Belfast let out a mighty roar before it flapped its wings, creating a powerful tornado that swept up thousands of the undead.

At first, it seemed to have worked, the natural disasters and power of the Sacred Guardians devastating the undead army of millions. However, while they had destroyed a considerable amount of Yhwach's forces, millions of them still remained, the horde crashing their blades against the likes of Meridian Golem, Belcasas and Spadaccino Demoniaco, while Belfast and Maledizione where hit with a barrage of Kido, Ceros and Helig Pfiel.

The Sacred Guardians fell back from the brutal onslaught before they let out a roar of defiance, each of them charging back into the field of battle.

As the war waged on between the two armies, Yhwach began a slow trek over towards Sylphia. "Now then, where were we?"

Slyphia gulped, sweat pouring down her forehead. Not good! I still need to stall this out more before I can assure the spell's effectiveness. I'll have to take him head on until then. I can only pray for my success.

Sylphia closed her eyes as her body covered itself in light green tinted scales. "Hydrogen Dragon Scales!" However, the moment she had cast her spell, the iron scales quickly were enveloped by a coating of silver. "Silver Dragon Scales!" Yet, even now the Goddess was not finished with layering herself with defensive spells, as a vortex of Wind began to enshroud her entire body. "Storm Mail!"

Yhwach chuckled at Sylphia's attempt to defend herself. "Do you truly believe that wind and a double layer of some Dragon Scales will allow you enough durability to injure me?"

Sylphia glared at him. "Oh, you'll discover what I have in store for you soon enough!"

The two leapt up into the skies above before they clashed their blades, dispersing all of the clouds that floated over Ishgar. Sylpha ducked underneath a strike from Yhwach's charred blade and swung her sword across his chest, the light making up its blade allowing her to strike an extremely shallow cut across his chest. Yhwach quickly countered this by swinging his blade down at her chest, completely obliterating the wind armor she had placed over herself, the Goddess crashing onto the continent of Guiltina. She quickly reapplied her armor of wind only for Yhwach to plunge downwards, forcing her to teleport from the blast.

Half of the Northern continent was obliterated the moment it had made contact with Yhwach's sword, its wielder showing less and less restraint over the course of the battle. However, while Sylphia rose up to the sky, dozens of tornadoes formed around her blade before she looked back at her foe and swung her sword down at the Quincy king. "Barra Tornado!"

A gargantuan arc of wind shot down towards him, but Yhwach simply swung his blade at the incoming strike, completely dispersing the wind that had fired down from the sky. In almost an instant, he soared up towards her, leaving a thin trail of fire in his wake, while he ascended to the skies above.

"Wind will avail you no better than water!" Yhwach proclaimed as the two of them soared over Alakitasia. The goddess managed to evade the initial strike aimed at her head, but the second one made complete contact with her chest, destroying the armor of wind once more. A third strike soon followed, and the silver that had once coated her skin completely disintegrated.

Knowing that her Hydrogen Dragon Scales alone would certainly not be enough to allow her to withstand another blow, she closed her eyes and magic built up around her before it burst out with an invisible push.

"Shinra Force!"

The shockwave was fortunately strong enough to send the Quincy king hurtling towards the ground, burrowing him deep underground. Yhwach rose up to his feet but before he had the chance to fly back up, Sylphia had already prepared her next spell, her spare hand extended to the sky above.

"Rain down the Judgment of the Cosmos: Sema Cento!"

One hundred meteors began to rain down from the heavens, each of them shining with a bright light.. However, Yhwach showed no concern at the incoming meteors and he placed his sword to his right side, taking up a stance similar to a samurai unsheathing his blade, the 'flames' surrounding his body turning to a blood red crimson.

He smirked.

"Zanka No Tachi North: Tenchi Kaijin!"

Then, as if he were performing the ancient japanese art of Iaijutsu, the charred sword swung out, the flames enveloping Yhwach's body intensifying as his power reached a new peak.

A blinding white light engulfed the world, the power of Zanka No Tachi North shooting forth into the heavens. As the bright light finally began to fade, the hail of meteors had been completely and utterly destroyed.

Sylphia's body hurtled from the atmosphere and crashed to the ground, her body completely and thoroughly charred in third degree burns. Her left arm was completely destroyed, leaving a stump just around her shoulder. The pain was indescribable, and tears flowed down her eyes. If not for the pain suppressant spell she had activated the moment her body had been hit by the intense heat, she had little to no doubt she would be able to do nothing but scream from the sheer pain of it all.

Yhwach gave the goddess a mocking clap while he encroached upon her. "A brilliant display, Goddess of Comradery. Such an onslaught of meteors may have been enough to have overwhelmed Zanka No Tachi West's defenses in its weakened state. Even more impressive is how you were able to activate your triple layered defense just before the moment of impact. But tell me, do you really believe that you can defeat me in your weakened and raged condition?"

The question was rhetorical, the Quincy king fully anticipating that she had already begun to heal herself, the pristine condition of her skin returning as he made his approach, while her tattered clothes began to restore themselves, no doubt due to Arc of Time.

He stopped just ten feet away from where she crashed, the goddess only now rising up to her feet while she fully restored herself. The Quincy kaiser narrowed his gaze, frowning."Will you not surrender against the inevitable?" He asked her. "You've fought admirably, but certainly you've realized now that you cannot win this battle." He glanced towards the battlefield where their 'armies' had battled. The Sacred Guardian Beasts she had created had already fallen in battle, unable to overcome the undead army of millions. The sound of creaking bones filled the air once more, countless hordes of skeletons making their way towards her.

"Give in now, and I shall make it painless," He told her. "This is the last concession I will allow you to have."

However, the Goddess simply narrowed her eyes at Yhwach as she slowly floated above the ground.

"No…I will not yield. Not with everything that is at stake," She spoke with a sternness that came from thousands of years of existence. "What you wish to do will not only destroy the lives of my fellow deities..but it will forever change the lives of the mortals. To make your world without death would require the merging of the divine realm with the mortal one. The only humans who would survive would be those with magic or some sort of internal power. Everyone else would perish."

Yhwach nodded. "An unfortunate side effect I admit, but it is a sacrifice I am willing to make to bring forth the paradise that she would have wanted."

"Bianca wouldn't-"

"Don't say her name!" Yhwach snarled. "None of you 'gods' possess the right. You allowed one of your own to run rampant in Bosco, simply not caring to properly deal with her since she was sealed to remain in its borders. But her chaos was not stopped, it was merely contained. The Goddess of Despair took over the body of the former emperor and brought forth a caste society where the weak died and the strong could do as they wished. My wife was far too good for this sinful earth. Yet, it was by Despiroa's actions and the indifference of the rest of you that allowed her to suffer at the hands of her wicked army before she was brutally executed!"

Sylphia gave him a solemn glance. "I'm sorry for your loss. Truly I am. I wanted nothing more than to go to Earthland and put a stop to her myself. But her powers of despair can infect even those among the divine and force us under her own thrall. The others simply deemed it too much of a risk to allow me the chance to deal with her. For the inaction that led to all of this, I offer you my most sincere condolences."

Her expression changed, her pity giving way to intense determination. "But your pain and suffering doesn't give you the right to take away the lives of millions of people. They have done nothing to deserve such a fate!"

"Do you think I would pursue this course of action if there was any other way?" Yhwach told her. "I do not want to rid the world of its population of non-mages. It is for that very reason that when the time comes, all of the citizens of Boso will have inherited some of my power, along with any who wish to serve under me. No, I do not want the deaths of millions of innocent people on my hands. Not anymore. However…"

Yhwach gripped his own sword. "If it will bring about the peaceful world that she desired. A world where what happened to her will never again repeat itself. A world where the pride of Ankhseram will not continue to ruin the lives of mortals, then I will gladly place that sin upon myself."

"You will not stop? Not for anything?"

"No."

Sylpha simply closed her eyes. "A pity. Then it seems that you have left me with no choice…but to end your life."

(Song of Choice: Fairy Law OST)

Then, much to Yhwach's surprise, the Goddess dispelled her blade of light and clasped her hands together. She slowly separated them, and a brilliant light began to form around her palms. The golden light only began to intensify more and more, the nearby skeletons beginning to erode from its mere presence.

She wouldn't dare! Yhwach realized as his army of the undead began to surround her. To use that spell on so many foes, she'd practically be throwing her own life away! It was for the first time in their entire battle that Yhwach felt a feeling that he hadn't felt up until now. One he never would have imagined this Goddess could have ever forced onto him.

Fear.

"LAW."

The massive bright light shone throughout the entirety of the artificial construct of Earthland, her cloak flowing in the wind. The massive horde of charred skeletons began to disintegrate the moment they made contact with the golden radiance of Law. No longer possessing any sort of survival instinct, each and every one of them simply stood by while they were completely destroyed, the army that once numbered into the millions quickly dwindling down to zero.

Eventually, the golden light faded from the world, revealing a barren wasteland completely devoid of the once innumerable army that had littered the landscape moments prior. Now all that remained were the two originators of the conflict. However, whereas Slyphia still floated above the ground, her cloak still floating in the wind, Yhwach was down onto his hands and knees, the color of his hair, skin and clothes now bleached a lighter shade. His body shook while he panted and wheezed, the power of Law clearly having taken its toll on him.

Yhwach weakly rose up his head to weakly glare at her, the flames of Zanka No Tachi still clinging to his body. "How…Do you still remain unhindered by that spell?" He weakly sputtered.

Slyphia's feet touched down to the ground, brandishing her sword once more. "The spell does indeed reduce the lifespan of its user. However, because us deity's possess an unending life span, the cost of the spell instead wears not on our lives, but that of our magic capacity."

As things stand, she was almost completely spent. At the most, she only had enough magic left for 5 major spells. Whatever came next .. She'd have to be careful.

Yhwach gave her a slight smirk. "I see. Yes, that was quite the cunning plan of yours. How unfortunate then, that your gambit has failed," Ribbons of light containing roman numerals fell from his hands, his body engulfing itself with a bright light, his whitened hair and shaking body rapidly restoring itself to its original state. Once the process was complete, he fully rose up, completely restored. "Unfortunately for you, I have the capacity to simply restore my power. In the end, all you have done is simply prolong the inevita-"

(Song of choice: Flying Light. Naruto Shippuden OST)

But before he could finish, Sylphia raised up her right hand, a red mark resembling the Fairy Tail emblem, along with a massive set of red wings under it, appeared on her left arm. A massive golden ring formed around him, and a pillar of golden light enveloped her own body until she pointed her arm at the Quincy king.

"Gather! O River of Light that's guided by the fairies! Shine in order to perish the fangs of evil! FAIRY GLITTER!"

An enormous pillar of golden magic engulfed the Quincy king, devastating the remaining countries of Joya, Destro, Bellum and Sin, shaking the rest of the artificial earthland and filling it with a brilliant, blinding light. As the dust began to clear, Yhwach had once again fallen to one knee, as the bright light of Blut Vene covered his skin. He was far from uninjured, however, his body littered with scrapes and bruises.

However, most importantly of all was the Quincy medallion, the one that contained the Bankai of the venerable Head Captain Yammamoto, was littered with cracks. They quickly began to expand around the silver material before it completely burst into thousands of tiny fragments, the power of Zanka No Tachi leaving Yhwach's body.

Yhwach glared at the goddess, infuriated at her most recent action. "To think you'd actually be capable of ridding me of one of my most valuable assets. I'll make sure you suffer for that, Goddess of Camaraderie."

This was a considerably bad turn of events. With the Medallion now broken, the power of Zanka No Tachi had more than likely returned to that fool Genryusai. While he extremely doubted his arch nemesis had the gall to use his Bankai in Earthland proper, it was nevertheless a prospect he was most certainly not comfortable with.

The Quincy Kaiser once more brought out his grand sword made of reishi to his side, determined to cut Sylphia down. "I hope you're prepared to make amends for that mistake with your very life."

Slyphia, however, didn't seem the least bit worried, and narrowed her eyes, pointing up her sword of light up to the heaven's. "The only one that will perish today will be you, Yhwach. Deus Sema!"

A massive meteor pulled itself from the reaches of the artificially created asteroid belt, hurtling towards the god made planet at incredible speed. However, this was only step one of Sylphia's multi pronged attack.

"Command T: Expansion!"

The already massive meteor began to quickly expand in size before it came to an abrupt halt, its girth twice that of the entire moon's. Yet even this was not the end, as a bright purple aura surrounded her body.

"Arc of time. Flash Forward!"

The moon-sized celestial object, having slowed down due to its immense size, quickly sped up allowing it to reach across the artificial solar system in less than ten seconds. The artificial planet began to shake as the massive rock made its way towards the Quincy king, Sylphia taking steps to teleport behind the Meteor as it passed the atmosphere.

Please, please let this be enough. Sylphia prayed to herself. Please don't force me…to use that spell!

Yhwach stared down at the gargantuan meteor as the very planet shuddered from its approach. If he failed to stop this spell, there was little to no doubt in his mind that he would perish. Thus, he prepared to use the most powerful spell in his arsenal, spiritual ribbons containing various roman numerals shot from his hands to the ground before they expanded into a massive blue light resembling that of the Wandenriechs symbol.

"Kirchenlied: Sankt Zwinger!"

Several towering columns of reishi, each shaped like the Quincy cross, erupted up from the ground in a circular formation. A blinding blue light shot forth, slamming right into the planet sized object and blasting it into countless fragments, the miniature meteorites striking the entirety of the artificial Earth land and devastating its surface, littering it with thousands of nuclear-like blasts.

With his latest spell successful, Yhwach gazed upon Sylphia as she descended from the heavens. "Sankt Zwinger, the ultimate Quincy spell which combines offensive and defensive magic. Any other spell under my arsenal would have not been sufficient enough to destroy it. Your combination of spells was truly one to be feared, but in the end it simply wasn't enough."

Slyphia looked incredibly dejected, almost as if she had completely lost hope, the goddess of Camaraderie staring down at her own feet.

"Now you see how futile resistance is, I see." The quincy emperor said. "I will give you this one last chance. Either join under my banner. Otherwise I will have no choice but to take your life. The choice is yours…goddess of comradery."

The goddess's gaze finally moved upwards, her eyes meeting his. Yet, the expression on her face truly baffled him. It was not that of fear, or hopelessness, but…sadness?

She whispered all but two words, her usually chipper voice devoid of any and all joy.

"I'm sorry."

(Song of choice: Escape to the Beginning, End of Evangelion OST)

The entirety of the artificial Earthland shook as magical circles of every conceivable color began to tower over Sylphia, layering over her one after the other while they climbed up into the heavens. Her body shone with a rainbow-esque aura, and the stars that made up the very solar system began to align above her.

The emperor of the Neo Wadenrich couldn't help but gawk at the immense magical power he could sense building up around the goddess. "What…What is this!?" He demanded to know.

This wasn't like Law.

No, this was worse.

Far, far worse!

"You showed me the ultimate Quincy spell, so now I am showing the pinnacle of all Magic in Earthland. A spell that can only be utilized by tapping into the One Magic." Sylphia answered with a dejected tone. "The ultimate spell. Celestia."

A rainbow of bright light began to fill the entire sky, with Yhwach's fear only continuing to grow. He formed a powerful Heilig Pfiel in his hands and fired it at the goddess, only for it to bounce harmlessly against the bright lights that now surrounded her.

"It's no use," She told him. "Once the spell is cast, an impenetrable barrier forms around the caster to protect them."

Yhwach took a step back, then another before she spoke once more, her voice now having gained an echo."There's no use trying to run either. Celestia is a spell that attacks everywhere all at once. No matter how far you try to run, no matter what defense you try to erect, there is simply no way to defend yourself. It is a technique that cannot be evaded."

The bright lights continued to intensify more and more, forcing the Quincy monarch to cover his eyes as he fell to one knee, the bright light beginning to burn his skin.

"The last thing I wanted to do was to use this spell," Sylphia told him. "It is not simply a spell of destruction, but one of complete erasure. Your soul will cease to exist, your essence wiped from the history of Earthland. It will be as if you had never arrived in the first place. The only one who will have any recollection of you will be those who knew of your existence prior from your world, along with the caster of the spell."

Yhwach opened up his eyes despite the bright light, the Quincy all father struck with a horrible realization. "But…that would mean that-"

"Yes. Your daughter Mette would also cease to be," Sylphia answered for him. "The kingdom that you saved will no doubt return to its tyrannical rule, and your adopted daughter Sachi will no doubt suffer, if not be killed outright as a result."

She shook her head. "That's why I tried to utilize every other conceivable way to defeat you. I created this spell for dealing with beings that would irrevocably harm the world that could not be dealt with by any other means. I despise using this spell. It is a means of absolute last resort. However, if I must choose between this sacrifice and the lives of every single human without magical power, and the friends I have made in the divine realm, then so be it."

Letting out a scream of equal parts rage and horror, Yhwach proceeded to blast away at Sylphia with every conceivable power at his command. Sankt Bogen, Licht Regan, Heiliger Pfählerr and so on. Countless blue lights crashed against Sylphia's barrier to no avail. Tears began to fall down Yhwach's face, knowing full well what was truly at stake.

"Forgive me for what I am about to do, Son of the Soul King," She told him. "But this battle ends here and now."

She pointed her bright light at the defenseless Yhwach and sadly uttered its name.

"CELESTIA."

The rainbow lights shot forward, engulfing Yhwach in their inescapable light. In a last bid to protect himself, he activated Blut Vene, but the defensive technique offered him no protection. An ear piercing scream filled Sylphia's ears as the man was overcome with every possible pain imaginable to start flowing through his body. He weakly reached towards Sylphia, attempting to form one last Heilig Pfiel, but before he could make the attempt, his hand began to vanish.

More and more, the rainbow of light spread over his body, his body fading from existence until nothing remained but his tearful red eyes. However, soon enough they too were engulfed by the intense light and finally, ceased to be, fading into nothingness.

With the magnificent bright light finally having died down, a single tear fell down both of Sylphia's eyes. She truly hoped it wouldn't have come to this. How many millions of humans had she doomed to suffer at the hands of Despiroa's madness, the goddess of despair no doubt returned to life thanks to the effects of Celestia. How many more lives could have been improved by his leadership? That wasn't even to mention the fact she had doomed an innocent woman, his daughter, to nonexistence. That one in particular truly stung. Everyone else would at least be able to enjoy the afterlife.

Everyone except her.

"It had to be done," The goddess said aloud, trying her damndest to convince herself. "He simply wouldn't listen to reason. You did everything you could. It was the right choice. Hundreds of millions would have died if he was allowed to roam free! It…it had to be done."

Everything she said was true. She knew that very well. Victory was hers.

So why did that very victory feel so shallow?

Sylphia let out a depressed sigh, glancing at the barren world. She truly had been fortunate that she had created this artificial realm. Had she not, then the results would indeed have been disastrous. Nevertheless, she couldn't help but smile as she sensed the battle with Laxus coming to an end.

"Excellent, it seems as if Bambietta was successful in protecting her guild! Well, I-

"You've left yourself wide open, Sylphia Nelia LaBelle."

(Song of Choice: Nothing can Be Explained. Thousand Year Blood War version)

Sylphia's eyes shot wide open, the voice of the very last person she had ever expected rang through her ears, only for a sharp and intense pain to shoot through her chest. She glanced down, a massive glowing sword of reishi piercing her chest. She let out a scream of agony as she gripped onto the sword, trying her damnedest to not scream.

"H-how?" She barely managed to sputter. There was simply no conceivable way that Yhwach could have hoped to have survived Celestia. Defense and evasion was impossible! But as she slowly turned around to bring herself face to face with her attacker, she let out a horrified gasp as it all finally began to make sense.

There stood Yhwach, looking as if he hadn't suffered even a single injury given to him through their entire fight. However, there was one single, distinct, but very important difference in how he looked. Two red pupils now adorn each of his eyes.

"The…Almighty?" Sylphia weakly uttered, fear lingering in her voice.. "But…that shouldn't be possible. I…I was certain that you were unable to use it." Up until now, the Quincy king had not once been shown to have used his Schrift in the midst of battle. Not even E.N.D. the mightiest of Zeref's demons, had been able to force it out of him.

So how was he using it here and now?!

"You've been under a misconception, Sylphia Nelia LaBelle," Yhwach replied "It's not that I couldn't use "The Almighty" until now…I've simply chosen not to."

Sylphia's eyes widened even further. "W-what!?"

"Your confusion is entirely understandable, so allow me to properly explain before you die," Yhwach informed her. "You see, while I am capable of using the Almighty in my current state, it is still premature. Unrefined. Up until now, I have only been able to use it in my sleep to glean a potential future. Nothing more. Were I to have used it as I am now back in Earth Land proper, I would wind up robbing all of the Neo Sternritter of both their Schrifts and their lives, including those of my daughters."

He took a quick glance around the barren wasteland. "But thanks to your creation of this artificial realm, I realized it was possible that I could use my eyes here without endangering my own forces. I decided to hold off on using it at first on the chance that it could still affect them in spite of this alternative dimension you created, but after the use of that wretched spell of yours…I was left with no choice."

Sylphia pushed herself away from the Quincy king, pulling her body off of the blade of reishi. The goddess panted heavily as she hurriedly began to heal herself with the reminder of her magic, but the look on her face said it all. She wasn't even sure why she was continuing to fight anymore. It was over. Her chance at victory, her chance at living had most certainly come to an end.

Yhwach chuckled. "Defiant till the end, I see? An admirable trait, but one I plan to smother out right here, right now," He pointed his blade at the Goddess, no doubt intending to put an end to herself with his next attack. He gave her a nasty sneer, very much akin to the one he gave to Yammamoto just before he took his life as he lifted up his blade.

"Farewell, Sylphia Nelia LaBe-"

Yet, before the final blow could be struck, a loud cracking sound filled the air. The two of them turned around, the sky itself was filled with a massive crack in it. It began to expand rapidly, quickly engulfing the entire replica of Earthland.

Sylphia gave the Quincy king a weak but cheeky nonetheless grin. "It would appear…that we've run out of time. With my magic all but running on fumes, I can no longer maintain this alternate space dimension."

Yhwach sneered at her words. "Do you really believe something like this will save you? With my "Almighty" I can easily -"

Yet, as he tried to follow through with his words, Yhwach's eyes widened as the multiple pupils in his eyes began to fade. His expression was one of confusion, clearly not expecting this course of events. However, he quickly regained his composure, he quickly put things together. "I see. So I'm only capable of using the Almighty once in my current state. How contemptible."

"Oh, I don't think it's so bad," Sylphia told him, giving him a weak smile "At least this way… no one is going to die."

Yes, she was on her last legs, but despite his appearance, she could sense that his power had also plummeted next to nothing. Even if he were able to somehow kill her in their current states…their battle would no doubt be sensed by those from Fairy Tail.

Yhwach gave the goddess a bewildered stare, silence filling the air…until he began to chuckle. That chuckle soon turned into outright laughter, the Quincy king leaning back as he let out a bellow. "Ahahahahahaha!"

Sylphia blinked. "Is something funny?" She asked.

Yhwach quickly regained his composure, the world around them beginning to fade back to the deepest level of the Fairy Tail guild. " Oh,it's nothing. My wife. She would have liked you. I just find it all incredibly ironic given my immense hatred for your kind."

The Quincy kaiser turned around, promptly heading towards the stairs to take him back to the guild hall. "Very well. We shall postpone our battle for now, Sylphia. However, when next we meet on the field of battle,-" He glanced back towards her, giving her one last hateful glare. "I will see to it that you perish by my blade."

Then, with his threat given, he ascended up the spiral staircase.

After a moment of silence, wanting to ensure that he had indeed left, Sylphia let out a sigh of relief. "Goodness, that was far too close for my liking," She couldn't ever recall a time where she had been so close to losing her life, not even during her time as a mortal. "He truly is a fearsome one, that Yhwach."

"I say we take him out here and now!"

Sylphia glanced over her shoulder as Iris appeared right before her, fury filling the Goddess of Devotions face. No doubt she was still eager to avenge her former lover despite how things had ended between them. "In the state he's in now, he wouldn't stand a chance if we brought the rest of the gods! We could -"

"Lille Barro and Gerard Valkyrie are still factors that must be considered," Sylphia interrupted her. "They possess powers that are just as deadly to us, if not more so, than God Slaying magic. Not to mention his other Neo Sternritter. Furthermore, a fight with those three would still no doubt result in the innumerable loss of human lives. Trust me when I say my recent battle with him more than proved that. Now is not the time. Not until I can recreate that dimension once more."

"Well, how long is that going to take?" Iris asked, rather annoyed at the situation.

"Well considering the complexity and sheer size of the spell…I'd say about eight years at a minimum."

"Eight years!?" Iris shouted at her. "We don't have eight years!"

Sylphia sighed. "Trust me, I'm more than well aware of this. It's for this very reason I didn't suggest using this battlefield as a replacement for us to fight the malevolent gods for humanity's fate. It simply wouldn't be able to withstand so much power being utilized at once for long, and the other side no doubt wouldn't find such a wait period to be acceptable, especially with the likelihood of it simply shattering yet again in a following battle."

Iris's face turned to one of horror. "But…but in that case…Just what can we do?"

"Hope," Sylphia replied, one Bambietta Basterbine filling her mind. "We have hope that our champion can succeed where I failed."

And so there we have it. With the potential exception of Acnologia, the Five Dragon Gods from 100 Year quest, and some Top Tier Bleach characters not seen in the story proper yet, you've just bore witness to a battle between the two strongest people on Earthland.

I certainly hope that it lived up to the hype and expectations. When it came to Sylphia, I had decided I wanted her to be the 'First Wizard' not long after when I originally took over as writer. I figured that if Mashima wasn't going to do anything with the subject, then I might as well. Granted, now that 100 year quest is now a thing, there's a possibility that he could show his own interoperation, but at this point, I'm just going to have to disregard it. I work with canon material as best I can, but sometimes you just got to do your own thing in the face of adversity. Regardless, I hope she lived up to hype/expectations.

Also, Yhwach has another daughter, though not of his own flesh and blood. If you want to have an idea what she looks like and who she's based off of, look up Sheena Fujibayashi from Tales of Symphonia.

Let me know what you thought of the battle. Was it epic enough, or were you hoping for even more crazy shenanigans?

No MPFS this time around, since I'm still unsure, numerically, how much stronger than the rest of the cast are. I just know it's by a LOT.
