Over the next two weeks invitations have been received and RSVPs made. Ace is over at Graham's; they are making dinner together when he gets a call, "I am going to take this out there."

"You can take it in here, it's probably just Ryan."

"It's an old mate that I was friends with in school. He and I recently reconnected."

"I won't mind."

"It's someone you know, and it's part of your surprise," Graham gets closer to her, swipes something from the pan. "I know what you have been doing, I am going to join in." He pops a sausage in his mouth closing his eyes. Then walks out as Ace's mouth drops open.

'That day better get here soon,' Ace thinks to herself as she looks at the calendar. 'One month to go.'

"Hello Mark, how are you doing?""

"I'm doing good. How about you?"

"Better every day."

"Dorothy?"

"You would be right," Graham lightly chuckles at Ace dancing in the kitchen.

"What is that for?"

"I stepped outside to take the call and I can see Dorothy dancing in the kitchen."

"You have it bad for her?"

"How can I not? I love her. You have only met one part of her. I have met both her professional side as I come by the office a lot; and I also know what she's like when around her close friends and families."

"I sorta called you for a reason, Graham."

"What is it?"

"I just got back from a meeting with my business manager and he told me a month ago I got an invitation from A Charitable Earth to their fundraiser next week."

"You should come."

"Are you going?"

"I am, that is the night I am planning to tell her how I feel."

"Really, you haven't done that yet?"

"No, it has been in the books for a while now. I came up with this when I saw you. I have been taking dance lessons. I asked her closest friends the color of her dress so I can have a matching tie."

"You are going all out for her. I guess I should reply yes to see what the elusive CEO's reaction will be to it all."

"I hope it's a pleasant reaction." At that point Ace looks up and makes a face at Graham who makes a face back at her. "I am going to go back in now."

"I will see you in a month."

"Yep," Graham hangs up and walks back in; wishing he could wrap his arms around Ace who turns around.

"How was your chat with your old buddy," she tries to ask as if she isn't prying.

"He just was asking me a few questions about an invite."

"Why would he be asking you that question?"

"It was a surprise invite to him. It was also a surprise when we recently met in London and the reason why is because of a certain someone that works there," Ace blushes knowing that she is the someone. "He knows I have gotten a few surprises up my sleeve for her."

"You have?"

"I told him about you when he asked how I was doing after losing Grace," Graham drops the crumb that she is the reason he is able to move on.

"I am glad that I can help you."

"You help me in more ways than you can ever know."

"I do?"

"You do Ace." They gaze into each other's eyes when her phone goes off.

"I guess it's my turn for a phone call."

"Want me to walk into a different room? Or do you want to answer it here?"

"I will take it where you took yours." Graham smiles his answer as she walks out.

"Good evening Nyssa, what do I owe this pleasure, even though I was enjoying my dinner with Graham."

"I just called you to tell you that Mr. Turner RVSPd."

"That's great, wait," Ace's mind starts to wonder.

"What's up Ace?"

"Graham."

"What did he do?"

"He was just on the phone with an old friend who had a question about an invitation he received. Could he?"

"We sent them out ages ago?"

"We know he doesn't talk to his business manager a lot."

"If Graham does know him and talked to him."

"Then he is trying to help us out." Ace looks through the window to find Graham watching her.

"Probably more to help you. He doesn't like seeing you sad."

"He is also your friend."

"He loves you and it's not just some innocent love. It is full out marry you sex you up love."

"Gordon Bennete Nyssa, get your mind out of the gutter."

"I won't until you get some."

"Nyssa, I haven't had any for years."

"I know, you haven't been in a relationship for years. You are someone who likes commitment."

"Ever since I left my 20s that is."

"Ace, you are over 50."

"Don't remind me. I have never been married even though it is something I had wanted since I met my Grandmother not long after she had my mum."

"You know Graham has been married before, so you know he is husband material."

"He is everything I have wanted in a partner and more."

"You mean you usually go out with people that don't have qualities you want in one?"

"I guess so. Or I didn't figure it out until now."

"I think you have always known you just couldn't find someone for you that understood your past."

"Nyssa, if Graham and I are meant to be together it would've happened by now. I don't know how many times I can do the normal things one would do when trying to seduce a man."

"He is a gentleman."

"I know that Nyssa. A woman can only handle so much." Inside Graham does a few bizarre movements that make Ace laugh.

"What's so funny?"

"Graham, he is being silly."

"He is just wanting to see you smile."

"Maybe, I am going to go. I am glad Mr. Turner is coming." Ace doesn't wait for Nyssa; she just hangs up and walks into the flat again. She grabs Graham's hands and they start dancing.

Meanwhile Nyssa gets off the phone as Tegan enters the room. "What did Ace say?"

"She thinks Graham knows him."

"That would be the other surprise he has for her next month."

"What are the other or others?" Tegan sits down next to her wife.

"You can't tell Ace. I can tell you it is going to make her happy."

"I promise."

"So the first one he is taking dance lessons."

"That's sweet of him, what is the other."

"He will tell our friend that he is in love with her."

"FINALLY! Maybe then I will stop interrupting what could be a first kiss, or Ace trying to seduce him then watching him make a hasty exit walking weirdly."

"What," Tegan adds with a laugh in her voice.

"Whenever Graham comes by I watch on as Ace leans close to him while wearing a flimsy shirt."

"Now we get to watch them as they finally admit what everyone who sees them together knows. The month can't go fast enough."
