Here's the next chapter! There was a vote in the server on who I wrote next after finishing Worm CYOA, Kitsu Ch. 59. And Lilyrael won easily.

Lilyrael POV

.

Sir Gelebor left sometime ago to make his journey to the other wayshrines. Azuraitha hid the body and herself away before he awoke. I know him to be an ally. But I'm not sure I can trust him in full as of yet.

Who knows how he would react upon seeing another Falmer woman in a maid outfit. And a Corrupted One tied down before him.

I have no way of truly explaining my abilities to him. So, I won't until needed.

"The subject is tied down and ready master." Azuraitha says with a bow.

She's somehow managed to keep her outfit clean, despite the slimy, grimy creature she had to handle.

"Very good." I say as I rise from my seat. Making my way towards the thrashing creature.

It truly is a perversion of everything that made our people great. Our silken hair, that ranges from the softest snow white, to the smoky cloud greys. Is now a disgustingly matted, yellow tinted skeever's nest of tangled wires. Our fair skin, reduced to a decrepit, sickly purple grey. Veiny and gaunt. Our eyes, our beautiful eyes. Swollen shut, unseeing.

"Ragh, ha, ragh ahhak!" It spouts gibberish in a hoarse, dry voice. Wiggling and squirming against the ropes holding it down like a wild animal.

It's gut wrenching to see and know that this is what has become of the great Falmer.

"Let's start this." I say as I raise my hand and cast Rapid Evolution.

I feel the magic tug. My soul connection to Aetherius, flowing out and latching onto the Corrupted One. And I get a sense of what I need to revert them. There's a, code in them. It, it's morphed, I see it! Or, feel it rather. I feel the chain links. The pieces I need to move. I can't remove anything. I can only add, and change. But, everything I need is here! I feel it! I just, need to, change, a few things.

So, I do so, expending all of my magicka in the process as I transfer it to the spell. Darkness consumes my senses as I expend more magicka than my body can contain.

Groggily opening my eyes, I see the smiling face of my dragon, maid, servant, summons, thing. Azuraitha is smiling down at me. The night sky gleaming behind her from my angle as I lay in the soft snow.

"Good morning master" She says with an innocent smile. "I trust you had a good nap?"

I ignore her as I get up from the snow and look to the Corrupted one. I smile as I see its state. Gone is the gaunt and hollow cheeks. No longer is its hair a stringy stained pale yellow. And its eyes!

Are still swollen shut as it writhes on the ground. Shouting gibberish.

"This, less than ideal." I say as I stare at the feral Mer.

"Well, you have other magic that can help." Azuraitha says as she walks around to stare down at the Mer tied to the ground.

"What other magic?" I ask curious as to how she would even know of such things.

"Don't you have an unread Tome of Subjugation?" She asks with a gleam in her eye.

I do! How could I forget?

Azuraitha

.

.

As her master Lilyrael summoned the tome and began to read. Azuraitha watched with great interest. As a being of the Gacha System, she knew of its ins and outs a little more than most. And she was very eager to see her master grow in strength. Oh the stories that will be written! The adventures told!

There is no greater treasure to Blue dragon than that of priceless arts. Books, paintings, jewelry. Azuraitha was just glad she got a master who was not only of royal blood, but had the means to give her what she wanted.

As Lilyrael finished the book in roughly an hour, she looked towards the restrained Falmer. She holds out a hand, glowing blue tendrils extending to the mer, and watches as it stops raving and frothing at the mouth. Soon it just stares off into the distance. Well, not really. Its eyelids are still red and shut.

"Why can't he see?* Lilyrael asks. "He's evolved past being a hideous savage, and I even supplanted a basic structure of normality in his mind. Why is he still blind?"

"I suppose that whatever caused his blindness, is not a result of evolution. And is something unnatural." I so desperately want to give her the answer.

No spoilers you glitch

But I'm held back. I have a more, tangible interaction with the system. Seeing as I'm a sentient, magical summons without any real template. The system made an error when making me. And it doesn't like errors.

Are you sure you can't just, bend the rules? Just this once?

No.

I've held her hand enough.

'But wouldn't it be, entertaining, to see this speed up and have her do some, real quests?' I goad the system.

I know you're playing me.

But?

But you're right.

Okay, whatever happens, is on you.

Agreed.

Oh I can't wait! Succeed or fail, this will be fun!

Lilyrael POV

.

"What could be the issue?" I think out loud.

Tell ya what kid. How about a deal?

'What deal?' I tentatively ask.

One time only. I give you the answer.

In exchange, the next roll you get. You take it immediately. And have it reduce by sixty points.

'Points?' I ask.

Every roll you make, is a one, out of a hundred. And the number determines the quality.

'I suppose.' I think the Daedra. 'Very well, if it'll help me progress, I accept!'

Okay

[Achievement unlocked!]

[Make a deal with the system]

You'd be surprised how few try and negotiate with their power.

Reward: 1 roll

"You did that on purpose." I accuse.

Everybody loves a good monkey's paw!

Now roll, or I won't tell you what you need to know.

This, is why you are to never trust a Daedra.

"Very well. I shall accept my consequences graciously." I say to the Daedra. "Roll"

Rolling

Congratulations-

Putting a pin in that

Here's what you need. The Dwemer made the Falmer blind with a potion. So all you need to do, is find the potion recipe, and reverse it.

Quest!

[The depths of Blackreach]

Objective: Head to the ruins of the northern Dwemer capital and find the Dwemer's original notes on the potion used to make the Falmer blind.

Reward: 5 rolls

'What's, Blackreach?' I ask.

Fal'Zhardum Din

It's the modern name for Fal'Zhardum Din

Okay, resume

Error

Roll reduced

Minor curse rolled.

Oh you got so lucky!

You were two points away from a major curse.

"I suppose so." I say dryly as the curse reveals itself.

[Curse of the yandere]

At some point in the future. Someone will become obsessed with you and want to be with you. They will dedicate their life to being with you. Even putting the lives of those around you in mortal danger to achieve their goal of being with you.

"I can handle a single person." I say.

You say that. But you don't know the batshittery of the people out their right now. What are you gonna do if it's some Thalmor? Or Alduin? Or, fuck, what if it's the Dovahkiin?

'Dovakiin? That means, Dragon Kin, but, the dragons don't have relatives outside of Auri-El, and by loose extension the royal house of Faloia.' I think in confusion. 'By the eight, who on Tamerial would earn the title of The Dovahkiin?'

Though Auri-El's firstborn gaining an attraction to me would be. Quite an issue. On one hand, it would be an honor to have Auri-El's firstborn find my presence endearing. On the other, this curse makes it sound as though that, is not what will happen.

'In all seriousness, what is the Dovahkiin?' I ask. 'And how would Alduin gain an attraction to me? I thought Auri-El's children were banished?'

You got enough pointers.

'I suppose I do.' I say resolutely as I get up.

"Azuraitha, we're heading to Fal'Zhardum Din." I say as I stand.

"Where might that be master?" She asks.

"To the east of here." I inform her. "It is, was, the Dwemer's chief colony in Faloia. Even when we gifted them land in the mineral ore rich land of the Reach. They preferred their settlement. We merely believed it to be personal preference. Though, now I have a feeling it's a bit deeper than that."

Azuraitha snorts at my words. Apparently finding something funny that I fail to see.

"What?" I ask the indignant maid.

"Deeper? Deep elves? Dwemer?" She chuckles.

I stare at her, unimpressed with her deduction and sense of humor.

"Azuraitha? Transform." I tell her. "We have need to be elsewhere and I'd rather we accomplish this with haste. As the last of the Falmer's royalty. I refuse to see my people in such a state longer than needed."

She gives a bow as she nods. A soft light encompasses her as she grows back to her colossal size. Her gleaming blue scales that charge the air with electricity.

"Are you ready master?" She asks in that deep, primal voice. "I know not where Fal'Zhardum Din is, so you'll need to guide me."

"That is quite alright." I say as I prepare to mount her. "I know of its location. But have never been there myself. So long as the very land of Faloia has not changed. I should be capable of guiding us.

Even Fal'Zhardum Din has a new name. For eons before my birth, things have remained. And now, in a mere few thousand years. Auri-El's children are gone. My people turned into twisted monsters. The Chimer are now the Dunmer. The Dwemer are gone. Man has taken over Faloia and renamed it Skyrim.

What else has changed?

"What should we do with that one?" Azuraitha asks as shes points a claw to the blind Falmer. Tied down and awaiting my instruction.

Oh, right. I nearly forgot about him.

The Tome of Subjugation gave me the knowledge to rewrite his mind. Replaces a few things and bring him to proper sense. But, it's imperfect. He's a puppet without will of his own. To any and all who would meet him. He is little more than a Dwemer Automaton.

Truly not the greatest of assets. If only-

Upgrade Quest!

[Overlord in the making: part 1]

Subjugate and keep 10 individuals

Current Progress [1/10]

Reward: [Subjugation] becomes more powerful and versatile. Able to insert basic personalities into those subjugated.

"How convenient." I say as I stare at the Falmer. "Azuraitha, how many Corrupted ones are in the Vale?"

"Hundreds, possibly thousands in the cave systems." She answers easily. "Why?"

A plan quickly forms in my head I think of how best to accomplish my task.

"We're staying here a bit longer." I tell her. "Take me to the nearest encampment of Corrupted ones, post haste!" I command the dragon.

"Right away master!" She says enthusiastically as she flares her wings and takes off.

A/N

There is, so much to keep track of in terms of names and things that are different in regards to the Merithic Era, and modern Skyrim.

For example. Lilyrael still doesn't know about the empire, the dark brotherhood, the red mountain eruption, the oblivion crisis, Jyggalag, the Thalmor, hell

She doesn't know about Talos!

God that's gonna be fun to write.

Oh well, I'm on The Dark Wolf Shiro's discord server. I have my own junior author chatroom where I'm trying to elevate and get my own cult in the server!
