It's been about a month since that night...
Inuyasha and Kagome can't stop thinking about that passionate and romantic evening they had with each other, even though it was a month ago.
On that same night, Inuyasha did confess his feelings for her, and hers to him, so maybe that's why they can't stop thinking about it? Hell if any of them knew why.
"I must be living in a dream..." Kagome sighed, not realizing she said her comment aloud.
"Kagome, who are you talking to?" Sango questioned.
"Oh! Umm, nothing really!" Kagome responded with a bit of nervousness in her voice.
Kagome's face was immediately bright red. She hated her emotions so much. Inuyasha could easily find out how she's feeling by the sniff of his nose, or her facial expressions. Curse his canine genes.
If he noticed, she would die in embarrassment!
While Kagome was clearly focused more on Inuyasha in that moment, when the footsteps of her group of friends came to a stop, her thoughts were immediately interrupted.
"What's wrong?" Kagome asked, looking at her friends.
Did they sense something evil? If that was the case, why couldn't she sense it?
She saw Miroku point his finger towards a small village a ways in front of them.
"Wow, really?! Miroku, could we please perhaps stay? We haven't stayed in one for over at least a month!" Sango begged.
"Maybe we should stay, just for one night!" Kagome said, looking at Inuyasha.
"Fine." Inuyasha said flatly.
Kagome bursted with joy along with Sango next to her, as the two men sighed, facepalming.
"Thank you!!" The two girls said in unison.
"Keh, whatever." Inuyasha replied.
Miroku took a few steps in front of his friends. "I'll go ask the village headman if we could pass the night here. You five stay until I get back."
Sango nodded to her boyfriend, as he walked off.

Miroku walked back to the group sighing.
"What is it?" Sango said.
"They only have one room available." Miroku responded.
"We can make it work! We can stay here, take baths, and eat dinner. After, we all get settled down, one of us can sleep outside." Kagome implied.
"I'll camp outside, I need to relax from you humans." Inuyasha said.
"Then I'm going to, you're not going out by yourself! What if something attacks you?" Kagome said loudly, making Inuyasha scoff.
"I'll go with Kagome!!" Shippo said, getting ready to jump onto her shoulder.
"No!" Miroku grabbed him by the shoulder.
"Why not, Miroku?! Who died to make you emperor!" Shippo complained.
"Listen Shippo, couples need time to be alone with each other for, well, reasons." Miroku whispered into Shippo's ear.
"Reasons? What reasons, Miroku?" Shippo asked innocently.
"I'll explain to you when you're older." Miroku chuckled, putting Shippo down.
After he was put down out of Miroku strong grasp, he ran over to Kagome. "Hey Kagome? What reasons do you have to be alone with Inuyasha for?" Shippo asked.
Kagome blushed a bit as Inuyasha's ears had a faint blush to them.
"Just because!" She laughed nervously.
Sango walked up and smacked Miroku's face. "Pervert! What did you tell him?!"
"Nothing bad, I swear!" Miroku said with a bit of a whiny and irritated tone, rubbing his red cheek.

"Wow, it's so nice in here!" Kagome exclaimed, walking into the hut the villagers got them settled into.
"Yeah, you said it." Inuyasha responded.
"Who's first to bathe?" Miroku asked.
"I guess I will, come on Kirara." Sango starts walking off, gesturing to her pet to follow her to keep her company.
Shippo runs up to her. "Sango can I come too? Miroku is a pervert. I can't stand him sometimes."
The young girl laughed a bit at Shippo's comment about her love interest. "Yeah sure, he can be annoying sometimes. Let's go everyone."
They all walk to the bathing room together.
It was deathly quiet in the living area where Miroku, Inuyasha, and Kagome were left at. They had food in front of them, appetizers actually, to make sure they got plenty of food in them for more than likely another battle tomorrow.
Kagome picked up her cup filled with tea. It wasn't too awkward, but the silence was starting to make them sorta uncomfortable.
"So Inuyasha..." Miroku started.
'Oh thank god he at least started something.' Kagome thought, starting to drink her tea.
"Hmm?" Inuyasha responded, looking at Miroku.
"I know how young couples are, but I've just gotta know if you've moved forward a bit, you know?" The monk snickered.
"What the hell are you going on about Miroku?" Inuyasha asked.
"What I'm trying to say is, have you and Kagome ever, you know, done it."
Kagome spit out her tea mid-drink, and covered her face with her hands.
"Miroku that's none of your business!" Inuyasha said a bit loudly.
He felt bad for Kagome, she looked so embarrassed.
"I'm taking that as a yes, my dear companions!" Miroku slugged him on the shoulder.
"You..." Inuyasha started.
"We haven't done anything at all! We're waiting for the right time, pervert!" Kagome said loudly, embarrassed.
Sango comes out in her night robes, drying her hair, sighing. "I can hear you from the bathroom, what is going on?!"
"Nothing!!" Everyone responded loudly in unison.
Kagome stood up grabbing a towel. "I'm next!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kagome took her clothing off, getting in the bath, submerging her body under the warm water.
Her cheeks were flaring red. "Miroku, why did you ask that."
She heard a knock from the other side.
"Don't come in!!" She covered herself.
"It's me, Kagome. I'm not coming in." A voice said.
"Inuyasha?" Kagome asked softly.
"Yeah, are you okay? You're not mad at Miroku?" He asked.
She giggled a bit. "Why would I be mad?"
"Well you stormed off, so I just assumed-"
"You're silly Inuyasha. No, I left because I was getting embarrassed and my cheeks were red." Kagome laughed.
"Oh, thank goodness. For a minute there I thought you were mad!" Inuyasha said, sighing a bit.
At least he didn't have to fear her wrath again.
Phew.
She got dressed and opened the door drying her hair, looking at Inuyasha.
"How about we eat dinner after I'm done taking my bath?" Inuyasha asked her.
She kissed him on the cheek. "I'd love that."
He looked at her, putting his lips on hers. "Wench."
" Teehee!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once everyone finished eating, Miroku, Sango, and Shippo all went to sleep.
Outside though, Inuyasha and Kagome were finally just getting the chance to set up their camp outside, along with a small fire.
"This is so nice..." Kagome said, looking up at the sky.
"It really does." Inuyasha said, looking at the stars for a spit second before turning his attention back to the fire.
Kagome smiles. "I'm serious! The stars out here are beautiful! You gave us a good view!!"
Inuyasha gets the fire going enough. He sits next to it, looking up at Kagome. 'She really is a beautiful girl.'
Kagome warms her hands up by the fire. She won't lie, it's freezing, but Inuyasha always makes sure she's warm and safe, even if it means having to come out here and hour early to make a bigger fire than usual.
"How do you make me do that?" Inuyasha says quietly, interrupting the silence.
Kagome wasn't sure if she was supposed to hear that or not, but she wanted to make sure.
She turned her head towards him. "Make you what?"
"Make me fall in love with you all over again..." He smiles, looking at her with his soft, gentle expression.
"Inuyasha..."
He leaps over to where she is sitting as he lifts her chin.
"You better be glad I took us a good ways from the village." He smirks a bit.
Kagome blushes a bit.
We're they...what...so soon?
"Kagome...please..." Inuyasha looks at her.
"You don't have to ask Inu...of course..."
Their small, sweet kisses soon turn to somewhat hot and heavy ones. As they shed their clothing, laying in the most intimate way in front of each other's eyes nude, they make passionate, unforgettable love to each other.
