Holding two plates full of food in each hand, Ananias carefully entered Severa's fashion studio and made his way to a footstool placed besides the table Severa was currently working on. She was apparently concentrating so hard that Ananias actually found it necessary to call for her attention. "Severa," he said.

Severa blinked and looked around the tent to give whoever had just called her out her undivided attention. "Hmm?" When she finally spotted Ananias, her eyes widened slightly in surprise, and she asked, "Yeah?"

Ananias raised one of the plates he was holding up to indicate that that particular plate was the one worthy of Severa's attention. "Here's your lunch," Ananias answered. "You want to eat it now," he then indicated towards the footstool next to Severa's work space, "or should I just place it down here?"

Severa stared at Ananias dumbfounded for a moment before quickly shaking her head to rid herself of the feeling and nonchalantly nod her head in approval. "Um, yeah, sure, go ahead." She then went back to working on her designs.

Ananias did what he was told, carefully placing Severa's food onto the footstool, before taking a bite of his food, looking over at Severa, observing her, and asking, "You're really getting into this, aren't you?"

Severa let out an exasperated huff, slammed her hands on the table (causing her ink bottle and feather pen to jump slightly, thankfully not inciting any mess of any kind), turned her head towards Ananias, and gave him an irritated look. "Of course I'm 'really getting into this'!" she said. "What?! Did you think I would give up so easily after spending so much gold on all of this?!" she asked, gesturing around her towards all of the supplies she had bought. She then balled her hands into fists and pressed them against her hips. "Are you daft?!"

Ananias turned his attention back at his food, played with it a little bit, and nonchalantly took a bite of it, before shrugging his shoulders and answering, "Well, you never know, right? It could've been a bad idea, you know?"

Severa gasped. "So just what are you saying Ananias, huh?! Are you saying that you thought that my fashion studio was a bad idea?! Well, are you?" She crossed her arms and glared at him expectantly.

Ananias, realizing that he was in an undesirable position with Severa, but powerless against his habit of answering every question as truthfully as possible, and a bit too used to Severa's usual attitude, calmly shrugged, and answered, "It just seems a bit excessive, yeah?" He then took another bite of his food, chewed it, and swallowed it down before adding, "And it's not like creating and designing clothes is a walk in the park, you know?"

"Oh, I get it!" Severa cried. "So what you're actually trying to say is that you think it's a bad idea for ME to be doing this, aren't you?"

Ananias thought it over for a moment, before shrugging his shoulders and answering, "Kind of."

Severa gasped before turning her head away from him haughtily and snidely remarking, "Gee, thanks for all of your support."

Immediately regretting what he had just said, or, at the very least, immediately regretting how he had phrased what he had just said, Ananias gently explained, "It's all just a bit unreasonable is all, especially when you've got no experience doing this in the first place. Like," he gestured around the tent, "this is all a bit much for the first try, you know?" He took another bite off his plate before shaking his head in resignation and suggesting, "I don't know Severa. Maybe you should've come up with some designs before making yourself an entire fashion studio, yeah?"

Severa blushed a bit from Ananias' words. She hated to admit it, but he had a point. Upon hearing Ananias' much more reasonable alternative to her idea, maybe she had gotten a little bit too ahead of herself. She was about to reluctantly admit to Ananias that he might have had a point, that her impulsiveness and over-eagerness towards her own idea may have backed her into a corner, but then remembered something that could make Ananias' words little more than a moot point. She grinned egotistically to herself as she rummaged through the plethora of papers sitting on her desk, looking for a particular dress design that she had just finished today.

When she finally found it, she held it up proudly for Ananias to see and asked, "Well then, what do you call this, huh mister?"

Ananias walked up to get a closer look at Severa's design and simply answered, "A design for a dress?"

Severa smiled arrogantly. "You're darn right it is. Sure, it may be just one, but it's going to be the first of many! Just you wait and see!"

Ananias simply shrugged before looking back at his plate, scooping up a spoonful of his lunch, and disinterestedly answering, "Well, I am your full-time assistant, so…," before placing the food into his mouth and chewing it down.

Annoyed, Severa placed her design back on the table, stood up, walked up to Ananias, forcefully took his plate and his utensils out of his hands and said, "Would you stop stuffing food in your mouth for one second and focus?!" She placed his plate onto her chair and irritably placed her hands on her hips.

Ananias' eyes widened in mild surprise. "Focus? On what?"

Severa heaved an exasperated sigh before picking up her design again, holding it up, and crying out, "On the design you blockhead!" She shoved the design directly in front of Ananias' face, so much so that Ananias actually had to lean back to prevent the piece of paper from colliding with his face. "Well, what do you think?" Severa demanded. She looked back at the design longingly, and asked, "Aren't I a genius? Don't you think that it'll be perfect for bringing out my smile?"

Ananias simply shrugged his shoulders. "Sure."

Severa frowned disapprovingly at Ananias' answer. "Sure? Sure?! What the heck does that even mean?!"

Ananias once again dispassionately shrugged his shoulders. "If you like it and think that it'll bring out your smile, then sure, why won't it?" When Severa still did not look satisfied with Ananias' answer, he let out an exasperated sigh, before explaining, "Look, I know you want my opinion, but I've honestly got no experience when it comes to fashion. Have you seen the way I dress?" He indicated towards his current, and usual, attire. "I let my mom and aunts dress me. My opinion wouldn't hold any water."

Severa rolled her eyes at Ananias' words. "Gawds Ananias! Just because you feel that your opinion 'wouldn't hold any water', doesn't mean you shouldn't voice it!" She forced the design right back into Ananias' face and ordered, "Now tell me what you think about this design!"

Ananias gulped nervously, something that Severa immediately noticed and began to worry about. What did Ananias think of the design? Did he not like it? Was her first and only complete design a total flop? Was she really in over her head with investing all of her money into something that she possibly had no business getting into?

After a long moment of silence, Severa finally mustered up the courage to finally ask, "Well?" She lightly blushed before adding in a defeated tone, "Is… is it really that bad?"

At this, Ananias immediately shook his head and quickly answered, "No, it's not bad! It's perfectly okay!"

Severa once again gave Ananias a look of anger and disapproval. "Okay? Okay?! Ananias! How is that any better than saying, 'Sure'?!"

Ananias ran a hand through his hair frantically as he pathetically shook his head. "I know and I'm sorry, but," he shrugged his shoulders, "I just don't feel entitled to an opinion when I'm just not qualified to!"

Severa angrily groaned before slamming her design and hands back onto the table, shaking her head, and calmly, though angrily, saying, "Fine. If you're not going to give me an opinion, then you might as well make yourself useful around here." She walked back up to Ananias and said, "I'm going to go get what I need to make that dress of mine and you're going to help me stitch it together."

Ananias quickly recomposed himself and nodded obediently. "Understood."

"And once we're done, you," Severa continued, jabbing her index finger into Ananias' chest, "are going to be the one to put it on."

Ananias blinked a couple of times in confusion before his eyes began widening in surprise. "Wait… what?"

Severa smiled impishly. "And once we get you into that dress, we're going to show you off to everybody in the army and get their opinions instead!" she said in a tone of voice that made it sickeningly obvious that she was feigning sickeningly sweet innocence after she clasped her hands together. "And of course you'll do it! After all," she cooed, pinching one of Ananias' cheeks, "you are my faithful assistant," she smiled up at him dangerously, "aren't you?"

Ananias let out a low, muffled, and uncomfortable squeal. He knew that the only way to get out of this current predicament was to start offering Severa opinions on her work, but he still firmly believed that he was not qualified in making opinions on fashion, and as he had already pledged his loyalty to all of Severa's fashion related pursuits, and was bound by the Anna Customer Satisfaction Policy, he ultimately realized that he had very little choice in the matter. He nodded his head compliantly, and said, "Y-Yeah."

Severa smiled and then began making her way out the tent. "Good! Wait here, alright? I'll be back in just a moment."

After she had left the tent, Ananias heaved a heavy sigh, rubbed the back of his neck apprehensively, and mumbled, "Did I really just allow myself to agree to that?"
