"Hey," Ananias said as he slowly made his way into Robin's tent after asking for her permission first, "how are the shoulders?"
Robin gave him a reassuring smile before tenderly rubbing one of her shoulders as she rotated it, and answered, "Great! Almost as good as new!"
Ananias let out a small sigh of relief. "That's good." He then cast Robin a mildly disapproving and somewhat annoyed look. "Next time, don't wait until the last minute to get something checked out, alright?"
Robin let out an exasperated sigh. "Geez, you really sound like Chrom, you know that?"
Ananias lifted an eyebrow in mild surprise. "Yeah?"
Robin nodded. "Yeah." She averted her eyes to the side. "He really ripped me out a new one after he found out." She winced at the memory. "Said that a tactician shouldn't be causing her army so much trouble."
Ananias nodded understandingly. "Yeah, well, he's right though."
Robin sighed. "I realized that the moment I came back to camp with my shoulders all bandaged up and carrying a bottle of ointment with me. I guess I just don't want everyone to keep reminding me about how stupid a mistake I made, hiding my injury and all."
Ananias nonchalantly shrugged. "If that's what you want, then so be it. I guess I'll try not to bring it up anymore."
Robin giggled before smiling gratefully at him. "Thanks." After a brief moment of silence between the two, Robin looked at the shoulder Ananias had previously attempted to carry her on, frowned, and asked, "Speaking of shoulders, how's yours holding up?"
Ananias looked at the shoulder Robin was referring to and rotated it a bit, and answered, "It's fine. My shoulder problem wasn't as big as yours, so it just sort of healed itself after a little bit."
Robin let out a sigh of relief. "That's good. Sorry for making you go through all of that." She then averted her eyes, blushed a bit, and added, "I must've caused you a lot of trouble, with you worrying about me and all and forcing you to pull the stunt you did in order to make me to do what I should've done in the first place."
Ananias shook his head reassuringly. "That's alright. It was nothing major, you know? And if anything, I didn't mind escorting you to get your shoulders checked."
Robin's eyes widened in surprise. "Really?"
Ananias nodded. "Yeah."
A pause. "Well, why is that?" Robin asked.
Ananias thought about it for a moment before simply shrugging his shoulders, and answering, "Not really sure. I guess it was sort of a relief to know that our amazing tactician was still susceptible to making stupid mistakes every now and again."
Robin blushed intensely. "H-Hey!"
Ananias' eyes widened a bit out of mild surprise. "What? You asked, so…."
"I know that!" Robin said. "I'm just… surprised that you actually liked the fact that I made a complete fool out of myself is all."
Ananias indifferently shrugged his shoulders. "I'm just saying that it humanized you in my eyes," he answered innocently. "It made me hate you a little less."
"Hate me a little less?!" Robin cried.
Ananias, though surprised at Robin's sudden outburst, simply nodded his head. "Yeah, I know right? I hate you, but I also like and admire you." He crossed his arms as a somewhat confused look appeared on his face. "It's weird."
Robin stared at him, her mouth hung agape in shock. "I… I don't follow," Robin said as she slowly shook her head.
"What's there to follow?" Ananias casually asked. "You always seem so perfect and talented, and I always seem so strange and talentless. It would only be natural for me to hate you a bit, you know?"
"Y-Yeah, but to say it so casually…," Robin said, still somewhat confused, but also somehow a bit amused and flattered at the same time, "you really are something else."
Ananias gave her a funny look. "I honestly don't know how to feel about that," he remarked.
Robin giggled, before admitting, "Me neither, once I think about it." She then pondered over what she had just said compared to what she really thought about him, before explaining, "I guess what I'm trying to say is that you're just full of surprises."
Ananias raised an eyebrow slightly in surprise. "Really?" he asked.
Robin nodded. "Yeah. I mean, I practically learn something new about you every time I talk to you, so there's that, and you're certainly extremely talented in your own weird little way, but at the same time you're a bit," she winced, "too strange for me?"
Ananias thought about it for a little bit before nodding his head in acknowledgment at Robin's statement, and saying, "Yeah, that seems fair."
Robin raised an eyebrow up in surprise. "Really?"
Ananias nodded. "Sure, I mean, my feelings for you are pretty weird, so it's only fair that you feel a little weird towards me, right?"
After a long moment of silence, Robin, much to Ananias' surprise (not that he ever really conveyed it), let out a laugh of relief and genuine amusement and said, "Sure, why not?" She then continued to laugh until, amazingly enough, it started getting contagious. As she continued laughing, the edges of Ananias' lips couldn't help but quiver upwards ever so slightly. He had hoped that Robin would not be able to notice it due to the fact that she was laughing so hard right now, but one glance at his face was enough to make Robin gasp in surprise, run up to Ananias' face, point at his lips, and cry out, "Oh my gosh!" As he averted his eyes to the side and blushed embarrassingly, she looked up at him and, noticing the look of embarrassment on his face, smiled knowingly, and asked, "Were you just about to smile just now?"
Ananias gently pushed Robin's finger away from his face before blushing a bit harder and saying, "So what if I was? You make it sound like I never smile around here or something!"
Robin shook her head. "I'm not saying that! It's just," she frowned, "you've never really smiled around me before." She tilted her head curiously to the side. "Why is that?" she asked.
Ananias shrugged. "I don't know. I guess it's because there's never really been anything to smile about, you know?"
Robin smirked and she placed her hands on her hips. "So what are you trying to say? That there was just something to smile about just now or what?"
Ananias fidgeted nervously for a bit, before answering, "The former."
Robin giggled. "And may I ask what about the former?"
Ananias continued to fidget nervously. "I'd… prefer if you didn't."
Robin smirked. She knew the offspring of Anna's weakness, and she was about to shamelessly exploit it. She took a step closer to him, playfully poked at him, and said, "I insist."
Ananias let out an exasperated sigh, before swallowing his pride and answering, "I… I'm just happy that you're happy, alright?"
Robin gasped, before asking, "Y-You mean in the way you're usually happy when someone else is happy or… what?"
Ananias gulped, before rubbing the back of his head sheepishly and answering, "T-The… the latter."
Robin gulped nervously. "And… what exactly is the latter?" she asked quietly.
Ananias let out another exasperated sigh before answering, "I… I…," he blushed even harder upon realizing that he was seriously about to do this, "I… I might… think of you more than a regular customer who asks for my services."
Robin gave Ananias a funny look. "Excuse me?" she asked.
Ananias groaned. "I might have feelings for you," he somewhat shamefully admitted.
Robin blushed. "O-Oh."
The two simply stood where they were in silence for a moment before Ananias let out another exasperated sigh and said, "Look, if you don't have feelings for me, then I would perfectly understand-"
"Oh, stop selling yourself short all the time!" Robin said.
Ananias' eyes widened in surprise as his mouth hung a bit agape. "Ah…."
"I'm flattered that you have feelings for me!" Robin reassured. "Because, believe it or not…," she blushed, "as strange as it may seem, I also have feelings for you!"
Ananias couldn't believe his ears. "S-Seriously?"
Robin nodded. "Yes! Being around you is surprisingly refreshing and relaxing!"
"Despite the fact that you keep saying that I'm talented in my own little way and the both of us admitting how strange I am?" Ananias pointed out.
Robin nodded. "Believe it or not, yes! I mean, all we do is talk to each other and do simple favors for each other, but whenever I do anything involving you, I just… I just have this great feeling of happiness swelling inside of me, you know?"
Ananias' eyes widened in surprise. "That's freaky. I… I kind of feel the same way." They then continued looking at each other in shock, before Ananias asked, "Is… is that feeling strong enough to make you… contemplate marriage with me?"
Robin gasped. "Are… are you asking me to marry you right now?"
Ananias blushed. "I… I guess I am." He then fidgeted nervously for a bit, before asking, "S-So what do you say? Y-You want to get," he gulped nervously, "m-married?"
After holding his breath for what seemed like an eternity, Robin blushed immensely, before smiling up at him and nodding her head in agreement to his request for them to be wed. "Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!" She then wrapped her arms around him and gave him a great, big hug.
Ananias couldn't believe what was happening. "S-Seriously?"
Robin let him go before nodding her head once more. "Sure, why not?" She smiled. "We already act like a married couple anyways! Might as well seal the deal, right?"
Ananias smiled, for the first time in her life, and said, "Well… when you put it like that…."
Confession:
"To know that the person you love reciprocates those feelings… you don't know how happy this makes me! Oh, um… I'm sorry… d-did I sound happy there? I… I can't really tell."
Ending: Ananias and Robin
Many wrote of Robin's legendary exploits, but accounts of her origins and character varied. Scholars, poets, and bards agreed on one thing alone—she loved her husband, Ananias, above all else.
Due to Popular Demand:
Tenk: Manakete
Tiki's future son. His nihilism and bad attitude make it particularly hard for his companions to work with him. Despite this however, he's got a good heart deep down and is surprisingly philosophical. Is the most likely to play devil's advocate in the entire army.
Author's Note #1: Ah, love. The one feeling where two people put up with each other despite their flaws. The one feeling that makes you want to hug and strangle someone at the same time. The one feeling where even the smallest acts with another person are worthwhile and memorable.
Author's Note #2: Well, therein ends Female Robin's supports with Ananias. It was surprisingly more difficult than I imagined, but I feel it turned out pretty good regardless. Next up, Male Robin!
Author's Note #3: Well, by popular demand (or rather, due to enough people asking me for it), I finally decided to let Tiki have a kid of her own. Now, currently the order of the supports are:
Father, Tan'bay, Lucina, Gerome, Nah, Cynthia, Noire, Kjelle, Zephyra, Lumaria, Yarne, Laurent, and then Brady.
But considering the fact that Tenk hasn't gotten a fair shot at being requested before anyone else, we'll be doing something a bit different with him. Male Robin's supports will definitely come next, but tell me where in the order of support you want to put Tenk in. For example: "I want Tenk to support with Ananias before Gerome." Or: "I want Tenk to support with Ananias somewhere after Noire but before Laurent." Request where you want Tenk to be on the list and I'll try my best to pick a spot that will make everybody happy. You guys have until next time!
