"So, what's the scoop?" Soleil asked as Ananias led her aside, away from other people's gazes once he had alerted her that he was now ready to give her the help she had asked him for. She grinned expectantly. "You finally got all of the latest in hot dating tips for young people?"

Ananias heaved out a weary sigh. "Not exactly," he muttered. "But I did ask around a bit, so at least I can say that I'm not leading you in completely blind, so there's that."

Soleil nonchalantly shrugged. "Well, that's a start, I guess. More than I ever had. So," she crossed her arms, her feet bouncing impatiently up and down a bit, "whatcha got for me?"

"Well," Ananias said, eyeing the way she was moving with a disapproving frown on her face, "first off," he gently placed his hands onto Soleil's shoulders and firmly held her down from her bouncing, "none of that."

Soleil innocently frowned. "Huh? None of what?"

"None of all that... unladylike behavior."

"Huh?" Soleil looked down at herself for a moment. "What 'unladylike behavior'? All I ever do is be myself. And I just so happen to be a lady. So how could I not be behaving all ladylike?"

Ananias sighed as he wearily pinched the bridge of his nose. "Well, you're technically right, and sometimes you DO act pretty ladylike, but that's not the point."

Soleil tilted her head to the side. "Then what is?"

Ananias let out an exasperated sigh upon realizing that he was going to have to explain all of this junk to her. "Well, you see, there are these stereotypes that both males and females have that sometimes people prefer when looking and asking for a date," he monotonously and disinterestedly explained. "And most of the time, you don't really fit those stereotypes, so I guess that that's one of the reasons why guys won't ask you out. They just don't know what they'd be getting into otherwise."

"Oh," Soleil said softly as she took a moment to truly process what Ananias was telling her. She eventually began nodding her head slowly as everything he said began to make sense to her. "I see." She then looked back at him. "So how do I become more, um, ladylike then?"

"Well," Ananias said, "first off, you act a little bit rough around the edges, you know? So acting a little bit more dainty and graceful would probably help."

"Dainty and graceful," Soleil murmured to herself. She then looked at her hands for a moment before visualizing to herself what a dainty and graceful girl looked like, smiling and giggling at the thought. Dainty and graceful, huh? Those were always the most adorable.

"Soleil," Ananias said, firmly bringing her back into reality, "focus."

"O-Oh!" Soleil helped, giving Ananias a goofy and apologetic grin an chuckle in response. "Heh heh, sorry. Gotta little carried away there." She then cleared her throat and murmured, "Dainty and graceful. Dainty and graceful. Dainty and graceful." She then slowly forced her body to imitate the desired mannerisms, placing her hands behind her back innocently and standing up with as much poise as she could muster. "Like this?" she asked uncertainly.

Ananias looked her over before shrugging his shoulders. "I guess."

"Hey!" Soleil cried. "You're supposed to not be leading me in blind, remember?!"

"Y-Yeah, you're right, sorry," Ananias muttered. He cleared his throat. "Alright, so the next thing you got to do is that you've got to act a little vulnerable, you know?"

"What? Why?"

Ananias sighed. "Look, guys may look like they're all macho and full of it sometimes, but in all honesty, we're terrified. Like, about everything. Vulnerability just makes it easier for us to talk to people, that's all."

"Wow," Soleil said, "that's surprisingly honest of you, Uncle Annie."

Ananias lightly blushed. "Yeah, well, don't go telling your parents about this, alright? I'd never hear the end of it otherwise."

Soleil giggled. "Oh, don't worry, I won't. I'm going to keep this side of you all to myself!"

"Er... thanks, I think." He then proceeded to clear his throat again. "Okay, and the last thing I've got to tell you is to, well... wear a dress or something."

"Huh?" Soleil looked down at her clothes and frowned. "But why? What's wrong with my clothes? They're just so comfortable."

"Yeah," Ananias said, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck as he did, "that's not really the point. You remember all of those stereotypes I was talking about?"

Soleil nodded cautiously. "Yeah."

"Yeah, well," Ananias shrugged, "girls are known for wearing dresses. It's just an easier sell than being a girl who... doesn't... wear... dresses."

"... No offense, but that sounds a bit too shallow, don't you think?"

Ananias sighed as he buried his face into his hands. "Look, I don't make the rules, alright? I'm just teaching you them. It's not my fault that this is the majority of men's preferences, okay? They just are."

"Says who?" Soleil scoffed.

Ananias gulped nervously before averting his eyes away from Soleil's gaze, crossing his arms defensively, and murmuring, "Says all of my aunts and nieces."

Soleil's jaw dropped. "Oh gods," she groaned. "You mean I'm being fed advice from merchants?!"

"Do you want my help or not?!"

"Honestly, I'm starting to think twice about it!"

Author's Note #1: There will be no Hoshido supports except for Rinkah, Setsuna, and Subaki, which are the three I have chosen for Ananias to support with (as in the game, those of the opposing side can support with two of the opposite gender and one of the same gender). Sorry. Also, Kanna Male and Kanna Female will be a gender neutral support in order to keep from having to do both. I mean, they both have similar enough personalities to make it work, right? So that's the end of that.

Author's Note #2: Supports after Soleil are Peri, Felicia, Jakob, Lana, Kaze, Nyx, Charlotte, Niles, Effie, Female Corrin, Benny, Anna, Ophelia, Camilla, Gunther, Setsuna, Kanna, Selena, Beruka, Xander, and Azura. Got someone you want to support with Ananias? Request it. Remember, all Nohr first generation characters, Soliel, Ophelia, Anna, Kanna, Rinkah, Subaki, and Setsuna are allowed to support with him as well and it is a first come, first serve system.
