"Psst!" Ananias hissed, trying his best to get the assassin's attention by inconspicuously calling out to her and signaling for her attention. "Beruka! Beruka!"
Fortunately for him, Beruka noticed his not so subtle plea for her and, after a brief moment of visible confusion on her part, walked up to him and asked, "Yes?"
Ananias hastily looked around to check if anyone was watching them before whispering, "I need your help!"
Beruka simply blinked at him before asking, "Help? With what?"
Ananias leaned closer and cupped his hand around his mouth, prompting Beruka to lean her ear towards him. "The body."
Beruka blinked a bit in confusion before realizing exactly what Ananias was referring to. "... Of the burglar?"
Ananias nodded frantically. "Yeah."
Beruka gave him a strange look. "What about the body?"
"I need help burying it!"
Beruka's eyes widened in surprise. "Burying it?" she repeated with a hint of surprise coming from her usually emotionless voice.
"Burying it, burning it, whatever! I need help with it!"
Beruka stared at him in disbelief for a moment before saying, "But... I would think that you would've already taken care of it by now."
"I tried!"
"So... what happened?"
Ananias let out an exasperated groan before explaining, "Well, after you left, I tried to drag it away. You know, to bury it and all."
Beruka nodded. "Right."
"But after dragging it around for a bit, I...," Ananias let out a frustrated grunt, "I heard one of the maids scream about seeing blood on the floor."
Beruka gave him a small look of confusion before her eyes widened in sudden realization. "You mean... you didn't clean up the blood?"
Ananias groaned before shaking his head and dragging his hand down his face. "Yeah."
"The first thing that anyone would've done before dragging a bleeding corpse around?"
"Well, I was just so focused on burying him that I kind of... forgot!"
Beruka skeptically raised an eyebrow at this. "You forgot... to clean up the obvious puddle of blood on the floor?"
"Well, I didn't want people asking me why I was next to a dead soldier, so I just focused on dragging the guy away!"
"Leaving a trail of blood behind you as you did?"
"Well, after the scream I just sort of... threw the body into some bushes and focused on cleaning all of the blood."
Beruka's eyes widened in shock. "You left the body somewhere?"
"I...," Ananias noticeably hesitated for a moment before placing his hands onto his hips and sheepishly saying, "yeah?"
Beruka took a moment to fully process Ananias' sheer incompetence and buffoonery. "... And is it still there?"
Ananias slowly winced and nodded. "... Y-Yeah."
"... Why?"
"Well," Ananias said, awkwardly scratching the back of his head as he did, "I can't exactly carry it around anymore, you know? People are on guard now. If I'm caught with it, it'll just cause more problems."
"Then why don't you just... explain the situation? I'm fairly confident that everyone would understand."
"Would they, though?" Ananias asked. "I mean, compared to everyone else here, I'm still kind of new, you know? If someone catches me with a dead body of a soldier than I'm going to be in some serious hot water!"
"... Which is why I suggest that you explain the situation to everyone."
"Explain what though?" Ananias frantically whispered. "That the guy was robbing from royalty?"
Beruka nodded. "Yes."
"Even when I have no proof?"
"Oh," Beruka said, nodding her head understandingly. "Yes, I see. That would complicate things, wouldn't it?"
Ananias nodded. "Yeah, and considering the fact that you were the one who figured him out, I don't exactly have a lot to explain to anyone!"
Beruka calmly nodded. "Yes, I understand now. I admit, it's quite the predicament."
"Right?!"
"Don't worry. Let's retrieve the body and explain what happened. I'm sure that with me as your alibi, everything will be sorted out accordingly."
Ananias let out a sigh of relief. "That's good. Now come on. Let's grab it before someone finds it fir - "
"Aiyee!" they heard someone cry. "There's a corpse of a solider here!"
Ananias' eyes widened in horror. "Oh no..."
Beruka sighed and shook her head in exasperation. "How truly unfortunate for you."

The next supports after Beruka, will be Xander, followed by Azura, Flora, Odin, Laslow, Rinkah, Arthur, Silas, Leo, Keaton, and Subaki. Kanna's supports will be like Ophelia's and Soleil's, with Kanna being Odin, Laslow, or Selena's kid and Ananias being an honorary uncle to them.
