"Mozu! I came here as fast as I could! What's the emergency?"

Mozu frowned. "Hmm? Emergency? What emergency?"

Ananias blinked in confusion. "T-the emergency." Mozu continued to give him a befuddled look. "I was told that you needed to see me, like, right away."

"Oh! That!" Mozu laughed. "Sorry, Ananias. I guess the message got a little lost in translation as it was making its way to you."

Ananias' eyes widened in surprise. "Wait, so you didn't want to see me right away?"

"Well, more like the sooner the better, but since you're here anyway, might as well do it now."

"Do what now?"

Mozu smiled. "Just you wait and see." She then turned around and whistled loudly, so loudly in fact, that Ananias jumped and had to cover his ears. "Alright, boys! He's here! Come on over and do what ya'll promised!"

Three familiar-looking boys ran towards them. "O-oh, um, hey," Ananias awkwardly greeted. "It's you three."

"Hey," one of the boys who had previously wrecked the fields mumbled.

"Hi," the second boy meekly said.

"Hey there, mister," the last one unenthusiastically greeted. All three boys were avoiding eye-contact and lowering their heads.

"Alright, boys! No use dawdling! Say what you need to say and then get yourselves right back to work."

The three boys sheepishly looked at one another before the first boy said, "We're sorry that we ruined your fields."

"And that we tried replacing your new seeds with rocks," the second one said.

"And that we made fun of you when you tried to get us to stop," the third boy added.

"We won't do it ever again, mister," the first one promised.

Ananias could hardly believe his ears. "Wait, really?"

All of the boys nodded their heads. "Really."

Ananias turned to Mozu, dumbfounded by what just happened. "Um, what brought this about?"

Mozu giggled. "Well, remember when I said that I'd take them back to their parents and that we'd have a nice, long talk with them? Well, that's exactly what we did, and boy, were they mad! Gave them more of a tongue-lashing than I ever could, that's for sure!"

Ananias glanced at the three children and noticed them fidgeting nervously. "Yeah, I'll bet."

"Well, after giving them a good, old-fashioned scolding, their parents promised me that these three would make up for all of the trouble they've caused, and today, they've finally decided to do just that!"

"I'm guessing that they're helping you tend the fields?"

"Yep! And then some! But not before apologizing to me first. And when they did, I couldn't help but remember how badly they had treated you and told them that they needed to apologize to you too. Unfortunately, you're kind of all over the place, so I just sent word for you come on by as soon as you had the time, but I guess one thing led to another, and well -"

"It caused this little misunderstanding," Ananias finished.

"Yeah. Sorry if I took you away from something important."

Ananias shook his head. "Nah, you didn't. And besides, even if you did, it wouldn't really matter much, I think. In the end, I'll always make time for you."

Mozu's eyes widened in surprise as she blushed. "O-oh. R-really?"

"Well, yeah," Ananias nonchalantly answered. "You're my girl, Mozu. If you need me, then how could I just leave you hanging?"

Mozu became noticeably flustered upon hearing such things. "O-oh, stop! You're doing it again!"

Ananias frowned. "Doing what again?"

"Saying things without a care in the world!"

"Um, I'm sorry, but did I say something wrong?"

"Well, no, not really, but... it's just that, you're saying them to me, so your words have just a teensy bit more impact than what you'd probably think."

"Yeah, I'm still a bit lost here."

"Ew!" one of the kids cried. "Gross!" He turned to his friends. "I think she actually likes him!"

"W-w-what?!" Mozu cried, her arms flailing around wildly. "N-n-no, I don't!"

Ananias turned to her, somewhat hurt. "You don't?"

"I mean, of course I like you! It's just that, the way they said it implies that I like you, well," she averted her eyes to the side, "romantically."

"Oh my gosh!" the second boy cried. "She totally does like him!"

The third boy laughed. "She probably wants to kiss him!"

Mozu blushed harder as she buried her face in her hands. "Eeek!" she shrieked.

Ananias glanced back and forth between the three boys and the increasingly more embarrassed Mozu. "Wait, is what they're saying true? You like me... in that way?"

"Oh...," Mozu groaned.

"Because I think I like you in that way too."

Mozu sheepishly peeked at him from behind her fingers upon hearing this. "Y-you do? You really like a plain ole village girl like me?"

"Why wouldn't I?" Ananias asked. "You're cute."

"Oh, you don't really mean that!" Mozu cried, burying her face into her hands again.

"But I do."

"Oh, stop!"

"See? What did I tell you? Cute."

"Ew!" the third boy cried. "Gross!"

The second boy nodded. "Yeah! They're getting all lovey-dovey!"

"What's wrong with that?" Ananias asked.

"Because girls are gross!" the first boy answered.

"I mean, they're not any more gross than boys are."

"Oh my gosh!" the second boy cried. "He likes her so much that he's actually defending how gross girls are!"

"Yeah!" the third boy said. "He must really like her!"

"Hey, mister!" the first boy said. "If you like her so much, then why don't you just marry her then?"

Mozu shot her head from out of her hands in shock. "M-m-m-marry me?!" Mozu stammered.

"You know, that's not such a bad idea," Ananias told her.

"It isn't?!"

"I'm up for it if you are."

"I... I... I... I must be dreaming," Mozu mumbled to herself. "There's no way this is actually happening!"

"I don't know. It feels pretty real to me. Unless you're saying that this is what you consider a nightmare, in which case, wow, way to reject my marriage proposal in the worst way imaginable."

"N-no! That's not what I'm saying at all! It's actually quite the opposite, really." Mozu averted her eyes to the side as she blushed. "The truth is, I fell for you the moment I laid eyes on you."

"Really?"

Mozu nodded. "Really."

"But then you actually got to know me and realized that I wasn't as much of a catch as you thought, huh?"

"Yes, you were a bit different than what I thought you were going to be, but I've learned to really love and appreciate the man you were."

Ananias smiled. "Really? Same here. When I first saw you, I honestly didn't think much of you, but you slowly proved more and more that you were more than just an ordinary village girl. You were a cute, hardworking village girl. And I can definitely respect and admire that."

Mozu giggled. "Wow. Really?"

"Do I seem like type of guy who'd joke about something like this?"

Mozu shook her head. "No, but to propose to someone like this... you really have no sense of romance, do you?"

"Oh? And how would you have preferred I do it?"

"Oh, I don't know. Call me old-fashioned, but I would've at least expected you to get down on one knee and propose to me proper."

"Um, okay. That's an easy fix."

Mozu gasped as Ananias immediately got down on one knee. "Oh, you really don't need to!"

Ananias gave her an innocently bewildered look. "But you just said -"

"I... I know what I said, I'm just... not very prepared for it, that's all!"

"Well, if it helps, I don't have a ring on me yet."

"This is so lame," one of the boys stated.

"Yeah, like, really lame."

"Like super lame."

Ending: Ananias and Mozu

Ananias continued with his humble life as a messenger almost immediately after the war had ended, his home being the only guaranteed place anyone looking for him could find him. His wife, Mozu, meanwhile, was a constant source of support and a humanitarian in her own right.

Author's Note: The Warriors supports are now officially locked in! You guys had plenty of time to vote, so there'd better be no complaints on who the top ten characters Ananias will support with are. The chapters will go from descending order (so first place is first and tenth place will be last). If there was a tie, then I'll favor the characters that I have not written for yet (this is especially true for the last few places). Just like in Warriors, the supports will only be the last one. The top ten characters who will be supporting with Ananias will be:

1. Anna (Warriors)

2. Tiki (Shadow Dragon/Young Version)

3. Lyn

4. Lucina

5. Celica

6. Sakura

7. Owain

8. Marth

9. Lianna

10. Chrom
