Holly asked Tiff to keep it really small for her bridal shower, as she didn't want any risk of danger, so Tiffany invited her closest friends over. Holly loved that it was small, but there was so much love in this room.
Robin walked over and took Holly's hand. "Come on."
Holly followed her into the kitchen, where Emma and Jayne were waiting with bowls of ice cream. "What's this?"
"Remember when I was a teenager, you and I would talk everything over with ice cream? I thought you could use some with your girls." Robin always thought so fondly of those moments.
Holly placed her hand on her heart as she sat down. "I love this."
"We knew you would, Grandma Holly." Emma's face lit up as she gave Holly a bowl.
"How could I not? How is college going?" Holly asked Emma. "Thank you."
"Oh, it's going great, Cam and I are both making sure to make time for each other, but we also are both so focused on our education. It's a fun time." Emma was really falling for Cameron, and it showed. "Do you care if he's my date tomorrow?"
"No, of course not. He seems like such a good young man." Holly smiled. "I look forward to getting to know him better."
"I know he feels the same about all of you." Emma replied before taking a bite.
"Patrick is still having a hard time with his little girl being in a serious relationship, but he's easing up as they go." Robin told them.
"Yeah, dad is getting better, I think it helps it's Cam. When did you know you were in love with Grandpa, Grandma Holly?" Emma blurted out, causing both Robin and Holly to choke on their ice cream.
"Um.." Holly collected herself. "You know it kind of just happened. We were friends, and he was the kindest, most wonderful man. He would do anything to help me even though he was still figuring out how to be in love. I think we both were, at least that in love."
"I think friendship is really important. That's why I think Cam and I have such a good foundation." Emma eyes lit up.
"You are so right and smart. You remind me so much of your mother." Holly looked over at Robin and took her hand.
"I don't know what I would have done without you when I thought I lost my mom and dad. I still don't." Robin gave Holly a hug.
"Neither would I." Holly smiled.
"So Aunt Jayne, how are you enjoying living in Port Charles?" Emma asked Jayne.
"Oh, I love it. I love not having to go through everything alone anymore. It's nice to have family and friends." Jayne meant that with all her heart. The way everyone had her back was overwhelming.
"Oh, trust me now that I'm back here. If anyone messes with my little sister, they are going to have to deal with me, too." Robin told Jayne. She loved that she had a sister now to look after.
The four of them finished up their ice cream before returning to the party.
