The year is Two Thousand and Fifteen, a majority of the world havmd been destroyed and Angels are attacking mankind in hopes of searching for Adam: The first Angel.

During a normal sunny day within Japan... a fourteen-year-old boy named Shinji Ikari. Also known as the "Third Children" and pilot of Eva-Unit One was returning to Misato's apartment after a long day of school.

Shinji's personality was normal. He wasn't depressed or angry. He was just in a regular mood.

"I'm home, Misato-san." Shinji said after he entered Misato's apartment. He then closed the door behind himself. He then removed his shoes from his feet. Only to find two more pairs of shoes on the floor. "Hm?" Shinji's left eyebrow raised as he stared at the extra two pairs of shoes. 'Are we having visitors?'

Shinji then suddenly heard chatting coming from another room. He walked toward the den of the apartment. As he did, he saw his legal guardian, Misato Katsuragi sitting at a table and chatting with someone. There were multiple drinks of Yebisu beer on the table.

A woman with short black hair, a single eyepatch over her missing right eye. She wore a black tuxedo without a black vest and black tie. Her name was Himeno.

"With the contract I made with the Ghost Devil, I can manipulate things with my mind." Himeno told Misato as she pointed at her head.

"Wow, that's so cool!" Misato said. There was a blush on her cheek as she had drunken many Yebisu cans of beer.

"Um, Misato-san?" Shinji looked and stared at both Misato and a woman with short black hair and an eyepatch. Sitting at a table with Misato.

Both women had looked to Shinji Ikari.

"Oh, hey Shinji-kun." Misato had waved to him. "How was school?

"It was normal as usual." Shinji had replied. Shinji had then looked at Himeno. "Um, who's this person? Is she a guest? Shinji had blushed a tiny bit.

Misato looked to Himeno for a second, then back to Shinji. "Why, yes. This is Himeno, Shinji. She is what you call, a Devil Hunter. She hunts and kills devils for a living."

"Really? Devils?" Shinji had asked.

Misato had nodded. "She came from another world where devils exist. And it's her job to eliminate them. Just like it's your job to eliminate angels." Misato had explained.

"This person... came from another world?" Shinji had asked, surprisingly.

"So, you must be Third Child that Misato-chan has told me about." Himeno said as she had sat up from the table and walked toward Shinji.

"Um... yes." Shinji nodded as he felt a bit nervous as Himeno walked toward him.

"Wow. You're a real cutie." She raised her left hand toward Shinji. "Don't worry. I won't bite." Himeno chuckled. Then, she wrapped her left arm around Shinji's left shoulder and then gently moved Shinji's right head toward her bosom.

Shinji had gasped as he felt Himeno's soft bosom.

"You must be really strong if you are willing to take on and defeat such powerful foes, right?"

"Um... yes." Shinji had replied as he nervously blushed.

"Well, I'm happy to hear that." Himeno smiled, cheerfully, then she had let go.of Shinji.

Shinji had sighed out of relief.

"Keep up the good work!" Himeno said in a cheerful tone.

"Um, y-yes. Thank you, Himeno-san." Shinji replied in a still nervous tone.

"Oh, Shinji-kun." Misato had called.

Shinji had quickly looked to Misato. "Misato-san?"

"I forgot to tell you. Himeno-san didn't come alone." Misato said.

"W-what?" Shinji had asked as he then assumed that another woman had came with Himeno.

Suddenly...

Shinji had looked toward the bathroom door and heard flushing. "Huh?"

Misato and Himeno had also stared at the bathroom doorr as well.

Within the next five seconds, a random person had walked out of the bathroom, yawning.

The person was a sixteen-year-old teenage boy with orange spiky hair. His name is Denji.

"Hello, lovely ladies." Denji had replied.

"Denji." Himeno had called.

"Yes, Himeno-san?" Denji had replied.

Himeno had walked behind Shinji and pressed her chest against the back of Shinji's head. Which caused Shinji to blush, once again. "I want you to meet Shinji Ikari. He's the Third Child that's protecting humanity from those bad angels." She chuckled.

"Oh!" Denji said aa he then made eye contact with Shinji. "So, that's him?"

"Shinji, here is fourteen years old." Himeno had told Denji.

"Oh! Then, that means I'm two years older than you." Denji told Shinji.

"Wait, so you're sixteen?" Shinji had asked.

"That's right, little dude." Denji walked toward Shinji and offered a handshake.

Shinji had stared at Denji's opened hand and slowly reached for it. Suddenly, the moment before their hands touch...

"By the way. Did you remember to wash your hands, Denji-kun?" Himeno had asked.

Shinji had gasped.

"Uh!" Denji had flinched as he had honestly forgotten to clean his hands in the bathroom. "I totally forgot!" Denji had replied to Himeno. "Sorry about that, little dude!" Denji had apologized, before running back into the bathroom and closing the bathroom behind himself.

Himeno smiles and shakes her head no. "Some things never change."

Misato laughed.

Later That Night...

Misato Katsuragi and Himeno had slept in the same bedroom, together. They were sleeping next to each other and both snoring loudly and in their underwear.

Misato wore a yellow tank top with blue cut shorts. And Himeno had worn a blue tank top with white shorts.

Meanwhile...

Denji and Shinji Ikari were sleeping in a separate bedroom, bit was sharing the same bedroom, together.

Shinji and Denji were both lying down on the floor with blankets over their bodies. They stared at the ceiling.

"Hey, Denji? Are you awake?" Shinji had asked.

"Yeah? What's up?" Denji had asked.

"There's something that I couldn't stop thinking about... ever since I met you, today." Shinji had begun to say.

"What's on your mind?" Denji asked.

"These devils that you fight... are they really that bad?" Shinji asked out of curiosity and concern.

Denji listened Shinji's question. "Well, there are some really bad devils out there, but I wouldn't say that "all" devils are bad." Denji said.

"Hm?" Shinji looked at Denji a bit confused.

"There are some good devils that work with me." Denji had explained.

"Really? Are the good devils nice?" Shinji asked.

Denji remained silent for a moment and thought of his acquaintance, Power. "Well, I guess you can say that."

"So, when did you start fighting the bad devils?"

"Shortly before I had met the most beautiful woman in the world." Shinji grinned and blushed as he had thought of Makima. When I return, I'm going to see you again, Makima.'

"Wow. Your parents must be very happy." Shinji smiled at Denji.

"Yeah, about that..." Denji's eyes had slowly looked to Shinji.

"Huh?" Shinji looked confused.

"My mom died before I was old enough to remember her--and my dad was a heavy gambler. He lost bets and collected so much debt that it wasn't even funny. When he took his own life, the sharks that he waa dealing with burdened me with paying all of my dad's debts and I had to give up really heavy things." Denji had explained.

Shinji frowned after hearing Denji's story. "I'm sorry to hear that." The story made him feel sad.

"Nah, don't be. It's all over, now." Shinji said as he then thought of when he killed the Zombie Devil. "So, what about your parents? How do they feel about you fighting angels?"

Shinji had sadly looked away from Denji. "Sorry."

"They both died, too?" Denji asked.

"Well, no. My father didn't die. But, my mother did. I don't even know what happened to her. My father won't explain it to me." Shinji said.

"So, you have dad issues, too, then?" Denji asked.

"Well... yeah, if you put it like that. Before I moved here, I lived with my sensei. My father avoided me when I was young. Until I began fighting those angels."

"I think I get it." Denji said.

"Get what?" Shinji asked.

"You and I have a lot of things in common." Denji said.

Shinji smiled. "Yeah. I guess we do."
