Warning: No no naughty words are present

Cooper walked to the elevator in the front lobby to head to the atrium. He was excited to reunite with his friends after the previous night's... happenings. He hadn't needed crutches since his ankle wound was only minor. He just had a slight limp to him.

Exiting the elevator from the lobby, he was immediately hit with the cool breeze of the ACs kicking into action. He looked around. He saw nobody. He wasn't exactly surprised, the animatronics had no idea he was returning. The mechanics had told them 'a few days' which isn't really specific.

Still having slight pain, he made his way to Rockstar row to greet everyone. The Glamrock chicken was the first room he knocked on. Knock. Knock. Knock.

Chica walked over to the door expecting to see the temporary replacement night guard from the previous night. She was shocked to see Cooper's face.

"Cooper! You're back!" She exclaimed excitedly.

"Yeh. Miss me?" He said jokingly.

"Kind of. I know Roxy did. Anyways, I need to tell the others! They have no idea!"

"Wait, before you go, where's Gregory? You hid him didn't you?"

Chica didn't answer. She instead just pointed to a couch, opposite the door, that was sticking out ever so slightly.

The couch began to move back and forth a little, before Gregory's face popped out behind it.

"Gregory!" Cooper was relieved. He felt as though a massive weight on his shoulders was lifted. With Gregory and Cooper reuniting, Chica left to inform the others of his return.

"Ahh, Greggy, good to see you. How have you been? Animatronics treating you nicely?"

"Yeah!" Gregory replied enthusiastically.

"They let me have as much pizza as I want whenever I want, and I get a comfy bed to sleep in."

"Speaking of comfy bed, why weren't you returned to your parents?"

His smile and enthusiastic nature had shifted slightly.

"I don't have any. But at least I have you guys now!" His smile returned upon saying the last sentence.

"Oh, Greg, why didn't you tell us?"

"I told Freddy, but you and the others never asked."

"Ehh, fair point kid. So are ya staying here?"

"I... Think so, if... you're okay with it."

"Of course, I'm okay with it mate. You'll always be welcome here."

Gregory smiled at this. The mood felt wholesome and light, and when Roxy, Freddy and Chica returned, it got even brighter.

"Sorry, I couldn't find Monty. He wasn't in his green room, tearing up the place like he usually does." Chica rolled her eyes while saying it.

"And I can't be bothered walking all the way to Monty golf to get him."

"Cooper! I am glad you are OK, I will never forgive myself for not being there for you in your time of need." Freddy was apologetic, as he always was.

Cooper was about to reply, before Roxy suddenly ran up to him and hugged him tight, almost a little too tight. He joined in.

The three others in the room kept their mouths shut. They let the two have their moment.

"My turn to return the favour." She gently whispered into his ear.

"You're okay, thank god." Cooper said with a soft voice, and a smile on his face. Cooper let go first this time.

"I am an animatronic. I can be easily repaired, unlike you humans. So fragile and weak and..." She stopped herself. "I'm sorry."

"It's OK."

Gregory jumped over the couch he stood behind and took a seat. Freddy sat next to him. Chica walked over to the two and sat on the right of them, next to Gregory. Cooper and Roxy both got stools and sat next to each other, facing the three.

It had almost turned into a campfire story night, well, as best you can do in a mega pizza mall.

Chica chimed in first. "So Cooper, what exactly happened?"

"Oooh, yay! Storytime!" Gregory interrupted.

"Well, where do I begin... So I found Gregory..." Cooper began explaining the night's happenings in such detail that he was surprised he remembered that much. "And then the Vanny slashed Roxy's paw..."

Whilst he was explaining that, he subconsciously put his hand on Roxy's paw. She didn't move a muscle. She just sat there, listening.

"And then I stabbed her in the back of the neck, and I woke up in a hospital." He moved his hand when he said the last sentence. Roxy was disappointed.

"But, now I'm back here with you guys, where I belong." The mood lifted a bit.

"Freddy, what happened to you? I thought the recharges only took a few seconds?" Cooper was mainly confused, but a little bit of suspicion lay in the back of his mind.

"Yes, they usually do. But when I went to recharge that hour, I felt a strange presence, and I saw red, a-and I saw a VHS filter, a-a-and I..." He was starting to freak out a little, but maintained his composure. "And then everything went black. Then I woke up in parts and service."

The group began chatting and theorizing about what could've caused his blackout. They came to the conclusion Vanny had something to do with it. They didn't know what, or how, but they knew it was her.

Once they came to that conclusion, it went silent for a bit. Until Gregory spoke up.

"Uhhh, h-hey guys?" He was nervous about something. "Do any of you actually know what Vanny did? And why I was crying in the vent?"

"No." They all replied. Apart from Cooper.

"I think I may have an idea, but... Go on."

"Well, during the day of when she attacked, I was being bullied by these 3 kids and... She found us and... invited us into her office... and... she..." Gregory was having a hard time getting the rest of the sentence out.

"Go on Gregory. There is nothing to be afraid of." Freddy reassured him.

"And she killed them. She killed all 3 of them... in front of my eyes..." He started to sob. No one said a word. "I escaped through the vent, but..."

It was at this moment everyone went to comfort Gregory, but not Cooper. He was connecting the dots. When he pulled that one-liner on Vanny before killing her, he wasn't sure if he was right or not. but now he was.

So she was responsible. I mean, I shouldn't feel too bad. I killed a killer. Technically, it was self-defence.

Cooper then went over to comfort the boy with the rest of his friends. "It's all right Gregory, she's dead. She can't hurt you anymore."

The elevator was destroyed, looking like it could only handle one trip. But He knew better. He had been down there several times before.

"He had to build it in Roxy Raceway, one of the messiest places in the pizza Plex, this place has been under construction for years, why not pick fazerblast?" He told himself. "Doesn't help that I'm carrying you either. Heavy."

He reached a cavern-like area, the place was large and open, very dusty and illuminated by hanging fairy lights just barely bright enough to direct you.

There were generators everywhere, he didn't know why. There was also a giant Freddy mask to the left of him, inside a small crevice of the cave.

He arrived at the remaining ruins of an old pizza place. Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. He stepped through the shattered glass door and made his way to the centre of the room.

The place was old and crumbling, looking like it had just barely survived a fire. An old show stage to the left of him, tables, chairs and props to the right.

The centre of the room held a spiral staircase of sorts, if you could even call it that. Mostly just junk old props and wood that lay in such a way it could pass for a staircase, if you squint hard enough. Trash littered the place. (No pun intended)

He made his way down cautiously, hoping not to wake the scorched remains of his master's victims, he made that mistake the first time he came down here. Safe to say he did not want to make it again.

He struggled a bit, because of his heavy payload, but nevertheless managed to make it down safely. The blob, he called it. He traversed his way around it, making sure not to touch it.

He then climbed down a broken, rusty ladder that looked like it would snap at any minute. Whilst carrying her. He found himself in an old, broken, seemingly abandoned office, with functioning doors somehow.

He made his way to the back of the office, where he found an occupied recharge station, a workbench and some tools and medical equipment, as well as some parts of animatronics. It looked like this thing, whatever it was, was a mad scientist.

He put the girl down on the floor. He then opened the recharge station.

A grotesque figure emerged from the recharge station, with opaque purple smoke to accompany him. His face was torn, half animatronic half mangled, twisted grotesque human. Its corpse twisted and turned through the endoskeleton, resembling the nervous system if it wasn't covered with skin. It was visible through the torn, destroyed, 'suit' it was wearing.

"Ahhh, Monty. You're back." Its voice was twisted, emotionless, as rough as sandpaper.

"Bad news boss. She died." Monty pointed to the body he had laid on the floor.

Sigh. "Well, if I'm going to bring her back I'll have to sacrifice more children. We just needed one more."

"Well, there is one in the pizza Plex right now as a matter of fact. I could go try to nab him when the others aren't looking."

"Do you like killing kids?"

"No."

"You want Freddy gone?"

"Yes."

"Then I'll have to resurrect her, she'll get the children, then we both get what we want. I get my son back, and you get to be number one. You can't get rid of him on your own." He chuckled.

"Hey! Credit where credit is due old man, I got rid of bonnie!"

"On accident."

That shut Monty up.

"I will bring her back. Do not fret alligator."

"How? She's dead."

He walked over to a drawer. he opened it and pulled out a syringe that was full of a milky white substance. It was almost floating inside it's container like a gas.

"Remnant, my friend. That is how."

He walked over the corpse. He kneeled over her and injected her in the neck with the white substance. The body started twitching. Slowly at first, then she became restless, and started to have seizures...

"This is how miracles are made, Monty. Vanessa is alive." The twisted voice whispered.

"Burntrap... I don't think this is o-" Monty was cut off by Vanessa awakening and jolting up, gasping loudly, in a similar fashion Roxy had. She started gasping for air, as if awakening from a nightmare.

"What the fuck..." She said.

"Welcome back, Vanny." Burntrap said. He chuckled evilly.

Monty was incredibly uncomfortable with what just happened. Call him traditional, but when people died he was used to them staying... Dead. "I think I'll leave now... I don't really wanna..."

"Bye." Burntrap said. An evil grin emerged from his rotting corpse.

Monty left as quickly as he could. Fuck that. Fuck that. Fuck that. Fuck that. Fuck that.

Those were the only thoughts he could think of while leaving.

"How am I still here?" Vanessa asked, confused. And rightfully so.

"My dear girl, there is so much you can do with this stuff, it's remarkable! The reason I brought you back, is because Monty will never be able to kill children and bring them to me. It's against his programming. And that virus didn't work as planned. All it did was make Freddy fall over a couple of times and rot their casing. Even if he could, IT would check Monty's memory logs for the missing children, and then he would be scrapped. Not to mention he can't handle a tiny little resurrection."

Vanessa stood quietly listening, before saying, "Guess I have to get more kids."

"Clever girl." His voice was condescending.

Vanessa facepalmed herself and begrudgingly said "How many more?" Whilst groaning.

"Resurrection takes quite a bit of remnant. Probably 4 more."

"OK then mad scientist. I'm going home. I'll catch them later."

Vanessa walked out of the broken office, scared and confused after what just happened. He can resurrect people? W-What if he finds a way to weaponize it? We are all going to die. She thought to herself.

She exited Roxy raceway as stealthily as she could, it wasn't exactly hard due to the aforementioned props and pallets and cones and trash etc. She made her way to the atrium, looked around and nobody.

They must be having a little teacup party in one of the green rooms. She thought to herself. She entered the elevator, got to the lobby, exited the pizza Plex, found her car and left. She had a lot to think about that night.

Monty was in a similar boat, he had a lot to think about that night. He had exited Roxy raceway before Vanessa, and he had headed to Monty golf, to try and act like he was there the whole night if anyone questioned him.

"I kinda feel bad that Monty missed out on all this info, maybe one of us should go get him to bring him up to speed." Cooper said.

"I agree. I would not want to be left out of such an important conversation." Freddy replied.

"I vote Cooper. He's the night guard." Gregory replied.

"Why'd we even leave him out again?" Cooper asked.

"Because it was a long walk and I couldn't be bothered." Chica replied.

Cooper didn't exactly give her a death stare, but he was disappointed to say the least.

"Maybe he would prefer to be left out. I don't know, he kind of likes isolating himself. Roxy said.

"He seemed energetic around me when I first met him."

"He's energetic around humans, but not us."

Freddy and Chica nodded in agreement.

"Ehh, A killer almost killing me and you was kind of a big deal, we should probably tell him." Cooper said.

"Yeah, no, you're right." Roxy agreed. "I'll go."

"Gregory wanted me to go." Cooper said.

"You can both go." Chica exclaimed, slightly fed up with them.

Cooper and Roxy nodded, and they left the room.

Once they were gone, Freddy, Chica and Gregory started talking about something, but they couldn't quite tell through the wall.

"How do you think he'll act?" Said Cooper.

"I don't know. He's nice around people, less nice, but still nice around us. So I'd say... nice I guess." Roxy replied. She felt oddly comfortable.

"That's good. Nice is better than not nice."

They had some small talk on their way to gator golf, but overall, they were both happy in each other's company.

They exited the elevator for gator golf and searched around for Monty.

"Found him." Roxy said quietly to Cooper, not wanting to alert the alligator. She pointed through a tree to the other side of the 'river'. They both began walking up to him.

"Oh hey Roxy, and Cooper. Care for some golf?" He sounded unnaturally chirpy, kind of like he was hiding something.

"Actually, nah. we just wanted to let you know what happened a few nights ago, get you up to speed." Cooper replied.

Roxy and Cooper then began informing him of the major events that happened that night. The two never noticed how uncomfortable he seemed the whole time they were talking to him. It didn't take long. They were finished in roughly 10 minutes.

Cooper looked down at his fazwatch. It read 5:48 am.

"Oh. Sorry but I'm off soon. It was fun talking Monty." They said their goodbyes and Cooper was off, with Roxy close behind him. When the two reached the lobby, they began waiting for the 6 am mark, and started talking with each other.

Freddy, Gregory and Chica still remained in Chica's green room, when they began spying on Cooper and Roxy through the cameras on Gregory's fazwatch. The cameras didn't have audio so there was no way to know what they were saying.

The three sat there, theorising what they could've been talking about, when Cooper and Roxy hugged and departed ways.

"They are so cute together." Chica said with an almost jealous smile. The others nodded in agreement.
