Bella's Pov
I was still furious with Edwards's choice not to change and the revelation that he had been cheating on me all along. I had honestly believed that he loved me, but I could not have been more about him. I wish that I could say that I wanted to go back to him and beg him to take me back, but I cannot. I do not want Edward back and I never will. I will go to Italy, and I will get what I have wanted all along. There was one thing that Edward was right about, I only wanted to be a vampire and he was not going to stop that from happening. I arrived in Seattle, and it was late, but the Airport is always open. I did not care about the price of the ticket, I just wanted to leave this place and finally become what I had always wanted to be and get my revenge on them all. I walked up to the man standing behind the counter.
"Excuse me sir I would like a plane to Italy," I said to him, and he looked at me strangely.
"A little late at night for travel, isn't it?" He asked.
"Not at all. The ticket please!" I said to him.
"Where in Italy would you like to go?" He asked me.
"As close to Volterra as you can get me," I said to him.
"The closest that I can get you is Florence, Italy." The man said to me.
"I just want a basic ticket, I don't plan to return to this horrid place," I told him.
"All right, a basic ticket is $1,430. Now will you be paying with cash or a card?" He asked me.
"I will be paying with a card," I replied and handed him my debit card without thinking twice about my choice.
"I will warn you that there will be 3 or 4 layovers due to how far you are wanting to travel. I hope that is all right." He told me as he handed me the ticker.
"Your boarding time is actually in 30 minutes so I would hurry up if I were you. All other flights do not leave until tomorrow morning. Have a nice night, Miss Swan." The guy finished.
"Thank you," I said.
I darted in the direction of the gate I needed to be at and thankfully the airport was not that crowded, and I was able to get onto the plane with no trouble. I only had to check the one bag that I brought with me because it was too big to be a carry-on. I sat on the plane, waited for takeoff, and looked down at my phone a realized that I had several missed calls from Jacob, my dad, my mom, and my friends. All the texts that I received were asking what happened between Edward and me and why I had left town. I even got asked where I was going and what I was planning to do. I was not about to tell anyone what my plans were, they had all hurt me in some way and I would make them all pay.
The flight to Italy was uneventful and only ended up being two layovers which was better than what the guy had predicted. The card that I was using to get around was a secret fund that I had saved up from working a part-time job that no one knew that I had. I had managed to save about $10,000 working there for 2 years and not spending any of the earnings that I had made. Once I got off the plane I caught a cab a requested they take me to the bus station so that I could take a bus to Volterra that cost me about $50 and the bust ticket cost me $150. I boarded the bus without a second thought and waited for them to leave the train station. After another 1 hour of waiting, they pulled out and we set off on our journey. I had never really gone anywhere alone, and this was honestly a little intimidating, but I was not going to wait on Edward anymore.
Once I arrived at Volterra it was dark out and the city was quiet. I wondered if the Volturi knew that I was here already or if they would be surprised to see me. I honestly did not even know where to begin in looking for them. When I was here with Edward, I was too afraid of everything around me and I did not commit anything to memory and now I wish that I had. I sighed and walked around the city in hopes of finding any sign of the Volturi so that could demand they change me. I looked down at an ally and saw glowing red eyes peering at me through the dark and they headed straight for me, but I did not move.
"You look ravishing Bella; the master's would like to meet with you." Jane leaned in and purred in my ear sending a shiver up my spine. What was this feeling that she was giving me and why did I like it so much?
"Just the person that I was looking for," I said to her.
"Is that so, well isn't that a shock. Who would have thought that you would come looking for little oh me." She said with a chuckle.
"Well, the Volturi, but yes," I told her looking into her beautiful red eyes that were captivating me right down to the soul.
"Come little human, the masters await your arrival," Jane said picking me up bridal style and disappearing.
We arrived at the Volturi throne in a matter of seconds, and I could see that a lot of the guard members and the three brothers were there. Jane put me down so that I could stand on my own and I glanced back at her and nodded my thanks. I was afraid at first realizing that they could kill me at any time, but I was not backing down this time. Last time I cowered in fear and used Edward as a means of protection, but now I felt nothing knowing that I may never feel pain again. I know that what I was about to say could be the very thing that would kill me or make me stronger. I glared into the eyes of Aro and knew what I was going to say next, and no fear left me.
"I demand that you change me into a Vampire, or I will expose all of you to the world," I said and saw a look of anger flash across their faces.
"You dare come in here and demand such things from us and then threaten us. Who do you think you are?" Aro snarled at me but made no move to attack me.
"I am Isabella Swan, and I was meant to be a vampire, but that foolish Edward refused and cheated on me. Edward never intended to turn me and planned to let me die old and feeble. How does it feel to be lied to by one of the Cullens yet again." I said, looking right at him.
"I hate the Cullen and they will deal with it, but you can't just come in here and demand something or threaten to expose us. You should be punished." Caius sneered.
"I don't care what you think. I do not want to be human anymore. I hate this feeble body and I want revenge on the Cullen's for what they have put me through." I growled out.
"Revenge is a dish best-served cold, my dear Isabella." Aro purred having moved close to me. I could see the look that his wife was giving me from a distance and knew that she was upset for whatever reason, but I did not care.
"Indeed, it is, and they deserve everything coming for them," I said looking right into his blood-red eyes.
"If I were to grant you what you desire the most what would you do to the Cullen's?" Aro asked me.
"Let's just say that none of them will survive my wrath. They all knew that Edward was never going to change me, and I want to make them all pay for that." I ground out.
"Then I will grant you your wish but remember that you belong to Jane and myself. No one else is to ever touch you." I looked at him confused before the all too familiar pain of being bitten and the venom spreading through my veins hit me and Aro stepped back while Jane held me as I collapsed. I was getting what I wanted and the first person to die was Edward Cullen.
