"Alright Kenichi, you better tell me right now! Why did our first kiss scare you? Do you, not like me?" Renka felt concerned as she held her arms defensively in front of her chest while standing. 'Had she over stepped herself in her eagerness. She had thought he would enjoy it at least. Was she a bad kisser? It was her first after all.'

The boy realized his reaction had caused a misunderstanding. His stunning friend was showing anxiety. 'She never did that before that he recalled. It was so cute to see her vulnerable side. He really didn't deserve her. She was so beautiful it hurt his heart knowing he was the cause.'

He stood slowly as his weak knees began to shake. "It's not anything of the sort. Renka you are by far. The most beautiful woman I've ever met. I had no idea you wanted anything more than friendship."

He gestured too himself with a sad face. "I mean look at me. In the dictionary my face would be right beside the word, average. However, your the type of woman that should have poems written about her."

The teenage girl blushed unashamedly at the praise. She relaxed visibly, but wouldn't let her boy sidetrack the conversation. "Then why Kenichi, if that's how you feel?" Her eyes bore into him as she continued speaking. "You need to be more confident in yourself. Never sell yourself short like that. Me and Miu both know you are a rare boy with the heart of a hero." Her arm gestured as a symbol that no argument was allowed on that point.

He laughed as the tension that was building lessened. "Oh Renka, your just so cute." He clapped both hands over his mouth as he realized what he said. After a few moments he tried to push on uncovering his mouth. "Honestly, Kensei Ma is probably the least terrifying master at Ryozanpaku. However, I have little doubt. He could snap my neck with a single kick if he wished."

"He has spoken of his daughter in China. I never would have guessed she would be such an amazing girl like you though." Trying to sound responsible his next words flowed. "Reguardless, he is your father. He will likely have a problem with us dating."

Renka laughed nervously as she responded. "About that you can't tell him I'm in Japan. That confrontation isn't one I'm ready for yet." She left unsaid that he might escape to an unknown location if he knew.

"But Renka, he's your dad? Wouldn't he want to see his daughter?" The brunette was genuinely confused at such a prospect.

"I'm sorry Kenichi this is a family problem. He left China and his over ten thousand students in mom and uncle Hakabi's hands. Part of the reason I'm here is to understand why." She swayed over to her boy and wrapped her hands around his neck. In a seductive tone she spoke. "Now, how about we make our second kiss much better than the first." She could feel his pulse pounding at the prospect, synchronizing with her own. As she was a breath away from blissful contact she sensed a problem. Mentally cursing her luck she pushed Kenichi onto his bed. Then dashed full speed for the book shelves across the room just as the door opened.

"Onii-chan, I do hope I'm interrupting." She glanced at busty as she seemed to be casually examining her brothers Manga. On the other side of the room her sibling was red faced. "Mom and dad decided to make a quick dessert since we have a guest." She grabbed her brother's hand a dragged him out of his room.

Renka followed behind acknowledging Honoka won this round. Then she smiled as she knew there would be other opportunities. At least she didn't have to mention daddy's brother being in Japan as well.

Next day Ryozanpaku...

"What is it Kenichi? If I were Appachai your neck would of snapped. Pay attention, this is my training time with you."

"Sorry Master Ma, I've just got a lot on my mind today." He really wanted to know why Kensei left China. However, he gave Renka his word that he wouldn't pry. So he tried to cover his tracks with his other pressing concern. "Do you know how I can beat Sukuba?"

Kensei smiled at his pupil. "Well Kenichi if your facing a Karate student I would suggest asking the Karate Master. Isn't that right Sakaki."

The hundredth degree street fighter tossed his empty Saki bottle. He had been pretending to drink it for the last hour anyway. "Well, I guess your in luck today kid. Ah, it's the anniversary of Judo's creation today. So in honor of that let me teach you something worth knowing." As he approached the teenager his ears were beat red.

Some time later at the Kisara crew hideout...

A sultry female voice spoke. "Well Sakuba, a pity Shirahama didn't work out." She tossed a picture at her mid level subordinate. "I hear this guy is some kind of genius with his own style. Go test him now, or else."

Sukuba swallowed nervously as he responded. "No problem Kisara, though I do hope he's worth my time."

At school...

"Oh come on, you weakling!" He kicked the disapointing fool repeatedly as he begged for mercy. "Another waste of time, genius my ass!"

"Hey you, leave him alone. You beat him so let him go." Miu glared at the black haired elder student.

He kicked the guy on the ground again. "Really girly, how about you make me."

'I'm sorry Kenichi, I know you've been training so hard to beat this jerk. However, I don't have a choice.' To her surprise a familiar voice spoke quietly to her.

"Hold up Miu, give the boy a chance." Renka smiled as Kenichi decided to show that heroic side of his again. She crossed her arms and grinned.

"Sukuba, leave that poor guy alone!" He tossed his sun hat aside and put his watering can down. Then he took up a defensive stance. "I'm warning you one more time, back off now!"

Sukuba laughed hysterically at this situation. "Wow Shirahama, you really have a death wish. Come on then weakling!" He began bouncing in place. Then he charged as the brunette hesitated.
