Chapter 51: SSBB Field Trip: Part 3

Morning in the Smash Resort

May 29

6:25 A.M.

It was the last night for the Smashers to enjoy the hot springs and the fun adventures of what they want to do. Memories were being made since the last two days in the Smash Resort. However. . . something felt strange. . .

Makato woke up from her futon and stretched her stiff arms. Peach and Zelda were somewhat arguing with each other for who knows how long. She heard Cloud's name in the argument and decided not to get involved. She then remember, she didn't had that dream with the mysterious black haired guy.

She felt somewhat confused. Shaking her head, she decided to freshen up herself. She kept on walking till she reached her destination to garden.

Makato's POV

Strange, that man wasn't in my dream. Maybe he left or he got bored of me. Or maybe because I gave up on that challenge. That must be it. I just can't apologize to Ike, after THAT! Just seeing his face makes me wanna run. I'm sorry mystery man.

I'm a coward. I'm just trying to avoid Ike. That's why I would leave in the mornings, to see Gin. I don't know why. I just met him two days ago, but anywhere to avoid Ike's eyes.

Also, he broke my heart. He loved Samus. Not me. . . I trusted him. I guess I was wrong. They were both lovers in the past. . . How dare he used me like that. He was a hero to me. A hero that taunted my feelings. . . But yet, he saved me so many times. I told him I liked him as a friend. But all of those countless savings, changed my feelings towards him.

I should visit Gin again, maybe play some checkers, and go hiking. I should get ready. Gin doesn't mind if I visit him in the mornings. I'm sure he would need some company.

Normal POV

As Makato ran on the wooden sidewalk, she bumped into someone without noticed.

"Ow. . ."

"Ah, sorry. . ."

"It's fine. I'm the one who should apologi-" Makato shook her head and opened her eyes in surprised. 'Ike's voice. . .' She slowly glanced up at him and quickly looked back down.

"Makato. . ." The sound of his voice showed how he was shocked to see her. Even though, they are under the same roof. The memories were flowing back to Makato. . . . of that day.

That Day. . .

A hard blow landed on Robin's face, falling to the stone pavement. Makato screamed. People were watching. Some were chanting 'fight'. Ike didn't hear Makato's cries, nor Marth's annoying plan of the Operation. He was in flames.

"Ike, I think you should stop." Marth jogged up to Ike, pulling his yukata. "Come on, let's go!"

Ike pushed Marth away and walked towards Robin. "Don't get in my way. . . Not till I'm done with him."

Ike pushed Marth away and walked towards Robin. "Don't get in my way. . . Not till I'm done with him."

Robin slowly got up, getting back on his knees.

"Ike! Stop! Please stop it right now!"

"Get out of the way!" Ike viciously, swiped the person across the face with his strong hand. He woke up from being bloodlust killer, shocked from his actions. The snow globe was release from her hands, exploding like a pop rock.

End of That Day

Ike could see the fear in her eyes, but still attempted to talk to her. "Makato. . . about yesterday-"

"Stay back. . ." Makato made some stepped back to keep her distance.

Ike stretched forth his hand. "Wait, listen what I got to say-!"

"I SAID STAY BACK! I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU'VE GOT TO SAY!" Makato mentally cupped her mouth at the end. She felt she went too far. Ike stood there in silence. His bangs covered his eyes and then he finally spoke. "I see. . . So be it. . ." Ike approached her silently, just passing her with loud steps. Makato stood in place. Her eyes trembled and then softened a little.

Outside of Gin's Cabin

"Gin, are you awake?" Makato knocked on his door a couple times.

"Precious!" She heard his voice through the door. Gin opened the door, revealing a cheerful expression. "Come on in, I made a delicious breakfast. Eat as much as you like!"

Makato frowned. "I'm sure you are hungry as well, I don't want to be a burden."

"Oh, don't worry about me. I'll be fine. I already breakfast." He winked. "Please, come in. . . I made this breakfast especially for you."

Makato let herself in as she let her bag down near the door. She walked up to the dining table and sat down. An appetizing breakfast was lay out before her. Gin walked into his kitchen, washing the leftover dishes.

"Um," Makato stared at her waffles. "I hope you don't mind if I can stay here for a little bit."

Gin still facing the dishes, stopped his hands from washing. His eyes darkened. "Yes! Stay here as long as you like. I could use your company."

Makato sighed in relief. "Glad to hear."

'This is too easy. I can't wait to touch you. Just one touch. . . Precious."

Resort

9:30 A.M.

"The party has just begun!" Lucina barged in through the door making her way in. Chrom and Robin followed as well, taking their seats. She placed her homemade apple pie directly on the table. The Smashers sweat dropped.

"What are you doing here?" Marth asked. Lucina sat right next to Marth and grabbed a plate. After she stuffed a croissant in her mouth, she talked.

"You know the rumors from yesterday about a young woman who disappeared in the afternoon? It seems that the woman enjoyed walking in the forest. She loved collecting mushrooms. A man said that she told him that she stumbled upon golden mushrooms. That was when she met a man named 'Bob'. Some people would see her in the mornings ever since the first day. One day the young woman left her room in the afternoon, and she never came back. The police couldn't find Bob's home nor the woman, so they ended the investigation. Continuing to eat their fried sugary snacks. Such as a donut. Or a DOUGH-nut. Get it? Dough-nut? Hehehe"

"Well that's just twisted." Pit commented.

"It's not twisted, it's fucked up." Chrom said.

"Oh my gosh! Daddy! Did you just swear?!" Lucina gasped cupping her mouth.

"It's all in your head Lucina. . ."

"So Bob's the killer?" Zelda asked.

". . . I don't know. I know there's no Bob in the Killer Richard."

"There's Bob the Builder." Ness said.

"Oh, that's a good show." Lucas said, eating Lucina's apple pie.

"Maybe, he made up his name to keep his real identity from showing." Miru said.

More people gasped. Some started to choke on the apple pie.

"OMG YOU MAY BE RIGHT!" Lucina screamed. "He's hiding his fucking identity!"

"Lucina! Did you just swear?!" Roy then said.

"I said, fuu- funnnnking! Yea!"

"Sure. . ." Robin rolled his eyes.

Mario and Link drank their milk tea in unison and sighed.

"What's up with them?" Robin whispered to Roy. Roy shrugged, "I don't know, they've been like that since yesterday night. Probably got dumped or something."

Roy turned to Zelda and Peach and they were giving cold stares at each other.

"Peach, you need to go to Mario." Zelda said.

"Well, Zelda, don't you need to go to Link?" Peach talked back.

"Ohh-kay. . ." Robin trailed off.

Marth thought about what Lucina said and turned to Ike. "Hey, do you know where Makato is? She does love collecting mushrooms. . ."

"I don't know and I don't care." Ike answered.

" I see then. Ok- -wait, what do you mean you don't care? Did something happen between you two? Something that I don't know. . . or something? Something something something? Tell me, young and confused child-"

Ike clogged his face with french toast and smoked sausages. "How about you shut up and eat, Oujo-sama?"

"It's Ouji, for Prince." Marth mumbled.

"What was that?"

"Nothing. . . Mmm, tasty. . ."

"Meow!" Whisker De Pablo said.

O_o

The usual fun continued on at the Smash Resort with more eyes of awareness.

3:00 P.M.

"I'm still kinda pissed, I can't believe Kirby won the prize." Roy said in disappointment, petting his kitty. Marth, Miru, Robin, Pit, Roy, and Ike were all sitting together at a cafe. Most of the waitress couldn't help but to stare at the guys.

Marth sighed. "Sing better next time."

"I still don't get how he won." Pit scooped some of his strawberry parfait and placed the sugariness into his warm tongue. "Mmh! Tasty!"

"We all know how Kirby is very terrible at singing." Ike said.

"I think he used a healing potion, you know? That can heal anything, even your singing." Miru said.

The guys stared at him and shook their heads. "Impossible."

"Not possible."

"That's crazy. . "

"Then why did his voice sounded like an angel?!" Miru asked the four guys.

"He just sang I Believe I can Fly that's why. That song would make anyone sound like an angel." Ike answered.

"It's something about you girl~!" Pit sang.

"Shut up Pit!" Marth said.

After some random talking about other topics, 6 cute waitress walked up to their table, holding up pink tickets. Their names indicated the color of their hair and eyes. They were making giggly noises and winky faces. They caught their attention fast.

"Greetings young men, I'm Strawberry!"

"Orange! Nice to meet yall!"

"Kiwi is what Kiwi goes by."

"I-Indigo. . ." She took a glance at the blue-haired mercenary.

"My name is Magenta. Please to meet you." She bowed.

"Hello, I'm Sally." Except for Sally. Sally had brown hair and green eyes.

"Now that was unexpecting. . ." Robin said.

"What was that?"

"Nothing. . ."

After the boys greeted them and tell them their names, Strawberry cleared her throat and began the explaining.

"Would you guys like to go to the Sakura Bond Fire Dance with us?" Strawberry asked. "It's a really fun event, tonight at the Sakura Fields, 8:30 P.M., where you dance with your love ones. Anyone is invited from the Resort. It's suppose to be bonding." Strawberry explained.

"If that's the case, why are you holding up tickets?" Robin asked.

"Oh, only the girls get the ticket, and they get to invite who they want to invite, up to 5 people." Sally explained.

"Ooooh~" The guys said.

"Hey, haven't you guys been here last year? Is this stuff all new to you?" Miru arched an eyebrow.

"We never been invited!" Roy cried.

"It's because you always make mud pies at the wrong time." Marth muttered.

"Well, it's always good to have a memory check." Pit said, "May I have another Strawberry parfait please?"

"Yes, you may." Magenta walked away from the group to get the parfait.

Miru thought about the Sakura Bond Fire Dance. "Well, if that's the case. . . I hope Lucina. . ."

"Sounds stupid. . . only sissies dance. Real men don't" Ike crossed his arms. Indigo's face turned into disappointment and frowned.

Marth coughed awkwardly. "Come on, Ike, they asked us nicely, at least we can do is to have fun." Marth elbowed him.

"What's fun about a dance?"

". . .Well it's. . ."

"Kiwi heard of an eating contest. Winner gets $100!" Kiwi added.

"I take that back on dances being stupid." Ike smirked. "I must win. . ."

"You hear that Indigo, he's going!" Sally smirked.

"Y-yes. . ." Indigo smiled.

"Hey, do you think Makato will be at the Sakura Bondage Dance?" Pit asked Miru.

"I'm sure of it. She likes dances. You know how rich people are. But I don't know where she is. Probably hiking. She is a potion princess after all."

"So it's settled!" Orange cheered. "Yall put on your nice clothes because it's going to be a blast! Meet us at the Chinese Garden at 8:15. Don't be late, ya hear~?!"

"Heh, I'm startin to like this orange-haired chick and her accent." Roy gazed at her eyes.

"Here's your Strawberry Parfait." Magenta came back with the delicious treat and handed it to Pit.

"Awesome! Thanks a lot."

"How about we choose our partners in advance." Magenta suggested.

"Good, idea, Strawberry." Kiwi said.

"I didn't say that. . ." Strawberry laughed.

"Well, I'm going to pick Pit, if you don't mind." Magenta smiled at the angel. Pit's face was flushed as he dropped his spoon. "S-sure!"

"I call dibs on the Orange-head!" Roy raised his hand.

"Hey! The name's Orange! Not Orange-head!" She snapped.

"Aww. . . I wanted to go with Lucina. . ." Miru murmured.

"You actually like her?" Marth was surprised.

"Um, no? . . .Is that a bad thing?"

"Don't worry, it's not like we're officially together." Sally said. "Just a dance, that's all there is to it."

Miru frowned. "I guess you're right."

"Well, I hope you don't mind me, Marth." Strawberry said.

"I don't mind." Marth answered. "As long as you're not crazy. . ."

"Kiwi will pick the white-haired freak!" Kiwi cheered.

Robin didn't respond but to show a fake smile of his gratitude.

"I guess you're stuck with me." Ike turned to Indigo.

"I-I-I hope you d-d-d-don't mind! I-I-I-Ike-san. . ." Indigo twiddled her fingers, blushing madly. Ike raised an eyebrow but then shrugged.

"Then, it's settle! Sorry to waste your time guys!" Strawberry said.

"Hello, Marth-sama! Ooh! What's going on?! A party?!" Lucina ran up to their table and sat right next to them.

"We're discussing about the Cherry Blossom Wind Dance. . ." Marth said.

"I wanted to go with you Marth-sama!"

"Heck no! We look like siblings! I don't even know how's that possible!"

Miru glanced at Sally to get her permission. Sally smiled and made a thumbs up. "Don't worry about me. I'll ask that man with the beard. He's so hot. . ."

"Um, Lucina. . ."

Lucina turned to Miru. "What is it?"

Miru became flustered and everyone was staring right at him. Miru destroyed 80% of fear and said it. "W-will you go to the Sakura Bon-Bon Fire Dance with me?"

Lucina dropped her pink ticket and stared at Miru intensely. "Wait, you wanted to go with me?"

Miru blushed like a Red Kirby and nodded. "That is. . . if you don't want to. . ." Miru couldn't make eye contact with the fangirl. Lucina picked up her ticket and smiled. Everyone waited for her answer.

"No, I don't mind. . . nobody ever asked me. . . to the Chocolate Bon Factory Dance before."

"It's because it's your first time Lucina." Robin shook his head.

"Well, congrats dude!" Roy wrapped his arm around Miru's shoulder. The waitresses clapped as well.

"Excuse me, guys." Strawberry sweat dropped. "It's called the Sakura Bond Fire Dance."

Ike stared at Pit's empty parfait glass. "Makato. . . I wonder what she's up to. Wait, why am I thinking about her?! She doesn't even like me. . ."

"Um, is Makato a friend to you-I mean a friend of yours?" Indigo asked the mercenary. Ike thought about it and answered.

"More or less. . ."

"Thank goodness." Indigo sighed in relief.

"Huh?"

"L-let's have a great time." She smiled at Ike.

"Yea."

Gift Shop Area. . .

"For the last time, will you guys stop following us?!" Sonic exclaimed at Zelda and Peach.

The two princesses were clinging unto Cloud's arm like a toy. "I want to invite Cloud to the Sakura-" Zelda was interrupted by Peach.

"No! I'm inviting him!"

"No I am! You have Mario!"

"Well take a good at Link!"

"We're just friends!"

"Liar!"

"This is going to be my whole day isn't it?" Cloud sighed.

Link and Mario watched from the sidelines as they drank their tea. "Ugh. I hate him" Mario said.

"I know your pain Mario. . . I see why you wanted to kill him back at the Mario and Sonic War." Link growled.

"We should jump him." Mario made an evil grin.

"Good idea. . ." Link smirked.

The two both saw more girls coming up to Cloud. Sonic back away from the commotion and walked over to Mario and Link. "Hey guys, what are you up to?"

"O-oh, um. Nothing that is!" Mario panicked.

"Yea, what he said." Link quietly continued to drink his tea, while hiding his sweaty face.

"Okay then. . ."

Forest

It was getting dark. Makato supported Gin's limping body as they both head back to his cabin.

"Thank you Makato, I should be more careful. . . when it comes to hiking. . ."

"It's no problem. Let's hurry so we can treat your injuries." Makato's breathing became thick and heavy. She didn't know why her chest started to throb. Maybe it was the hiking. Makato ignored it and focus on getting back to the cabin. After their arrival, Makato laid him on his couch.

She sighed and let go of her bag. She opened it and gave him a healing potion. Makato then noticed, it was her last healing potion. "But, I'm sure I brought more. . . Oh well. . . Gin, drink this. Your injuries will be healed."

"A drink?''

Makato laughed. "No, it's a potion."

"Ah, then, you're Princess Makato?!" He shot up his head in shocked.

"Yes, I am."

"I've been dying to meet you! Who knew. . ." Gin cried tears of joy at an instant. Makato smiled.

"Oh, I should hurry up and drink this. . . hehehe." Gin pulled the cork out and drank the healing potion in one gulp.

"Ah! That hit the spot!" Gin got up from the couch and stretched. "Well, I'm going to start on dinner. Care to join me?"

"Sure." Makato nodded. She coughed on her arm and walked into the kitchen with Gin.

8:13 P.M.

"Well, we are on time, aren't we?" Marth asked the group. "Oh, I see them."

"Hello guys!" Strawberry waved. The waitresses were next to Strawberry, waving as well. The girls wore kimonos based on their hair color. Very beautiful indeed. While they guys wore formal-casual clothing.

"Let's party!" Kiwi cheered.

"The Sakura Fields are just near. See the people over there?" Sally pointed to the glowing light of people, barbeque, music, singing, booths, and dancing.

"Sounds E rated." Snake commented, crossing his arms.

"Nonsense. People that participate in the Sakura Bond Fire Dance, often find their mates." Magenta said.

"Mates, huh?" Ike thought outloud. Indigo stared at him, wondering what he was thinking about.

After some chit-chatting, the girls and boys walked in pairs, as they head for the Sakura Bond Fire Dance.

Sakura Fields

"Holy shittu! It's crowded!" Roy exclaimed.

"Come on Partner! Let's go to the food section!" Orange dragged Roy's arm running from the others.

"Oh boy, I love greasy foods!"

"Honestly." Marth shook his head. "Let's go, shall we?"

"Yes," Strawberry answered. They both walked away as well as Kiwi and Robin.

"Where do you want to go Magenta?" Pit asked, walking with Magenta.

"Anywhere is fine." She replied.

Sally and Snake both left the group, leaving Ike and Indigo.

"Well, this place is more like a festival. . ." Ike sweat dropped. "Let's go to the food contest."

"Food contest?"

"Unless, you don't want to."

Indigo blushed brightly. "N-no! I mean Y-yes. I mean! No! A-anywhere is fine, as long as I'm with y-y-you-"

"Food contest it is then." Ike walked away from Indigo.

"W-wait up!" Indigo grabbed a hold of Ike's hand and they head toward the crowded area. Most people enjoyed the dancing, including the games and food. The fireworks were such a great view for the young and old couples to gaze upon.

Peach and Zelda were on a lookout for Cloud. Along with a giant group of single girls.

"Where is he?!" Peach screamed.

"Let's check the game section." Zelda suggested.

"Good, idea. Let's go girls!"

:AYE!" The Cloud fanclub cheered.

Sonic and Cloud were both wearing masks. Sitting on the sakura trees.

"They'll give up eventually." Sonic said.

"I hope you're right."

Indigo and Ike arrived at the food contest booth. Many people were in the competition including Kirby. Ike broke a sweat and cursed. "What's the point of joining when the Pink Prick is there? God, sonuva-"

"Ike?" Indigo asked, worried. Ike glanced down at Indigo. "Oh, it's nothing. Forget to the food contest. Where do you want to go?"

"Um. . ."

"Hey Ike." Miru walked up to the two, along with Lucina.

"Hey Miru."

Miru glanced at Indigo who waved shyly at Miru and Lucina. Lucina stuffed her face with takoyaki and yakisoba. "Mmh! Tasty!"

"Have you seen Makato?" Miru asked the mercenary.

"Makato? I haven't. . . Since that morning. . ."

"Well, it's been bothering me so. . . I hope she's alright."

"Maybe she's with her aunt." Ike said.

Miru sighed. "Michelle? She's with Toon Link. . . Even her aunt doesn't know."

Ike's heart began to race for some reason. Nobody so far didn't know where she was. Ike began to tense up. Indigo interrupted their conversation.

"Um, who's Makato really?" Indigo gripped onto her kimono.

"Miru's childhood-"

"-Ike's girlfriend! They were having so much fun at the Mario and Sonic War the other day!" Lucina answered.

"G-g-girlfriend?" Indigo cupped her mouth in shocked. "But Ike. . ."

"She's not my girlfriend." Ike answered, solidly. Miru stared at him, if what he was saying was his true feelings. Yet unknown. "Well, sorry to interrupted. I'm just letting you know. Let's go Lucina."

"Ok!"

"I'm telling you, she's not my girlfriend." Ike repeated to Indigo. They were both sitting on a bench, staring at people the passed by. Indigo stared at his face. "I-Ike, then why do you look so concerned?"

Ike didn't noticed as well. He sighed, he couldn't erase Makato from his mind.

"H-how about we go to the dance?" She suggested, smiling.

"Dance?"

9:30 P.M.

Gin's Cabin

"That was a good dinner idea. Thank you." Makato coughed once again, smiling.

"Are you okay?" Gin asked her.

"Oh, I'm fine. Let me wash the dishes. I'll be leaving after, if you don't mind."

Gin's face turned into disappointment. "Oh, I see. I did enjoy your presence, Precious. . ."

Makato carried the dishes and head toward his kitchen. She turned on the faucet and began scrubbing. As the noisy water occupied her hearing, Gin approached her, slowly, yet quietly.

"Precious. . . I don't want you to go. . ."

Makato heard a different side to his voice. It sounded, sad and creepy at the same time.

"I'm sorry. Maybe we'll see each other again."

"Maybe? Are you saying you don't want to see me anyone?"

"No. That's not what I meant. Since you live so far and all."

"There won't be a maybe between us."

Makato glanced back and saw a different side to him. He smiled creepily. She felt scared but tried to stay calm.

"You'll stay here with me? Right Precious?"

"I c-can't. . ."

"I said, you'll stay with me right?! We'll be together forever!" Gin gripped tightly onto her shoulders.

"I can't Gin! I have to go!" She struggled to break free of his grasp.

Gin forced opened her mouth and stuffed the can of bun spray in her mouth. His breathing became abnormal but his smile grew across his face. "Don't move my Precious. . . or I'll SPRAY."

'Gin, what are you doing?!' She thought. He never acted like this until now.

Gin brushed her pink hair. "Did you like my acting Precious? I did all for you." Gin laid his hand on her thigh and rubbed it.

'A-acting?' Makato made muffling noises, feeling uncomfortable.

"You're so beautiful, your skin, your hair, your eyes, your body, all so beautiful! I can't wait to cut you up! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

'W-what?! Cut me up?!' Makato shook her head rapidly. Tears started to form from her ocean blue eyes. Gin noticed her eyes and chuckled. He grabbed a clean plate and smashed it on her head. Makato collapsed, out cold. Gin carried her lifeless body, staring at her features.

"Precious. . . I'll keep you safe. Take a nap for now, my Precious!" Gin laughed insanely.

Sakura Fields

It was the right time for everyone to dance with their love ones or friends at the Sakura Bond Fire Dance. Most people watched. Most couples danced. Some Smashers break-danced.

Ike was one of the people to watch while everyone danced. Indigo was feeling depressed, sitting right next to Ike.

"So, you don't like to dance?" Indigo asked again.

"Nope."

"I see. . ." Her eyes moistened. "But, I really did enjoy o-our time together, Ike-san. Thank you for being with me."

"Indigo. . ." Ike got up from the bench, bored seeing the dancers. "How about I get some drinks?"

"Thank you, I-Ike-san."

Ike left her, walking to the vending machine. A girl with a brown ponytail and pink bow approached Ike. Ike turned to the stranger and dropped the coins in his hands.

"Hello, Ike. . ." She smiled.

"So, you're a real person, huh?" Ike smirked.

She giggled and nodded. "Yep, I'm real in the flesh. Let me introduce myself. I'm Aerith. I need to speak with you."

The two went to a place, where no one was around.

"Ike, Makato needs your help."

Ike crossed his arms. "She doesn't need my help. She can go to this Gin guy. . ."

Aerith frowned. "That's the problem. She's in danger."

"If she was in danger, she would have noticed."

Aerith put her hands behind her back. "Oh, Ike. . . Are you ok, with your last memories of Makato to be in the morning?"

"What? What are you saying?"

Aerith looked away from Ike and sighed. "There's still time Ike. . . Between the two of you, everything will be alright. But things won't be the same, if you don't take action now, Ike. I have to go now. I'm suppose to be a very mysterious person. Please, save her, Ike." Aerith walked away from him, leaving the mercenary, shocked.

Ike came back with the drinks to meet up with Indigo. Ike didn't want to believe that she was in danger, if what she said was true. Ike felt guilty yet angry.

He arrived back to the same place where Indigo was at. She wasn't there for some reason.

"Indigo? Where the heck did you run off to?" Ike began to search for her, leaving the drinks on the bench, not caring for them. After some time, he found her, under a sakura tree, with two guys. She looked unhappy and scared.

"L-leave, me alone!"

"Come, on. We just want to have some fun." Man 1 said.

"Yea, let's have some fun!" Man 2 said. They looked near their 40s. Ike approached to them and crossed his arms. "So, what kind of fun is it?"

"Ike-san!" Indigo cried.

"Who are you?! You little punk!" Man 1 charged at him with a knife.

"Simpleton, shankers." Ike grabbed the knife and elbowed his neck.

"URGH!"

"WHY YOU BASTARD!" Man 2 charged at him with a fork. Ike did the same move to Man 1.

"Simpleton fork shankers. . ." Ike shook his head in disappointment.

"Ike-san!" Indigo hugged him and cried. Ike patted her hair. "Everything's fine now."

"You saved my life, Ike-san. I'm so grateful. Oh, Ike. . ." Indigo smiled at him. "I-I, I love you Ike."

"Indigo. . ."

"Please, make me yours." Indigo closed her eyes and leaned in to his lips. Closer and closer he felt her breath coming near. Ike leaned in a little, but then stopped. Ike covered Indigo's mouth. Indigo opened her eyes in confusion.

"Ike-san?"

"Sorry, Indigo. Forgive me. . ." Ike broke Indigo's grip and ran, leaving the Sakura Bond Fire Dance.

"Wait! I-Ike!" Indigo cried out. Indigo ran to him, trying to keep up to where he was going.

Many thoughts appeared in Ike's brain, as he ran.

"Well, I advise all of you girls to please stay together, especially in the forest. . ."

Get it? Dough-nut? Hehehe"

'She's been going to the forest, by herself. . . For mushrooms.' Ike thought.

"Have you seen Makato?"

"Michelle? She's with Toon Link. . . Even her aunt doesn't know."

"I wonder how Gin is doing. He seemed so lonely. I can't believe it. . . his family died in a house fire in the past. And he survived. Poor Gin."

"So Bob's the killer?"

". . . I don't know. I know there's no Bob in the Killer Richard."

"Maybe, he made up his name to keep his real identity from showing."

'It must been that Gin guy! He's the Killer Richard!'

Gin's Basement

Makato was tied onto a wooden chair half unconscious-half awake, seeing only Gin's back. He was busy, sharpening his knives. "Tell me, Precious. Do you have a favorite type knife? Boning? Pairing?"

Gin waited for a response but she didn't answered. "Quiet, I see? Hahaha. I can't blame you. Who knew my next victim would be the Princess Makato! Ah, such a blessing! To think you would come here! Hahaha!"

Makato was in a white world. She saw the other side of her, standing right in front of her. Makato's eyes widened.

"You-!"

"Makato, don't use me for hate. Please? That time, you almost used me again. In the Smash Mansion." She smiled sadly. "Strange as it sounds, I'll give you the last of my power, to free yourself." Dark Makato stretched forth her hand.

"Now, GO! Makato!"

Dark power flowed through Makato's body in reality. Gin walked up to Makato holding up his famous chef's knife. "Now, let's start making marks."

"FIGHT!"

Makato's eyes changed into a purple color and her teeth sharpened like a transforming werewolf. The rope snapped as the dark power devoured it. On the offensive, Makato made a fist with her hands.

"TAKE THIS!" An upper cup to the chin she did with Gin.

"Ahh!" Gin screamed in pain. It was a hard blow that sent him flying to the other side. "P-Precious. . ."

Makato's eyes were back to their normal color and her teeth were back to being dull. She was free. But something in her body told her she wasn't free. Makato coughed even harder than before. She fell to her knees. Blood spat out from her mouth. Her heart started to ache more than before. She felt weak. Then it hitted her.

"Poison. I was poisoned? But when?" She didn't feel any injections or she witnessed any blood spots on her arms or thighs. Makato thought of this morning. Maybe that was when. . .

He didn't eat, only she did when she arrived. Makato shook her head. She felt her vision being blurry. Makato used the strength she had in her body to get on her feet. At least she can do is to escape from this place.

'I'm not. . . going to make it. . . It's spreading. . . To be poisoned for this long.' Makato stepped on the first step of stairs. Coughing more, she kept walking.

"Precious. . . come back. . ."

Outside of Gin's Cabin

Makato stared at the trees. She continued to walk, back to the Resort at least. . .

"I'm such a fool. If only I'd listened to Ike. . ." Tears formed from her eyes. "I'm sorry, for pushing you away. I was selfish and angry. I only thought of my own feelings. I wish I could spend more time with you." Ike came up into her mind and his voice.

"Come on Makato, I'll lead the way to the Smash Mansion."

"It's ok Princess. We came here to save you."

"That I did wasn't a life or death situation. It was never from the beginning."

"I'm the one who should be sorry. I kept on pressuring you."

"How about I give you a piggy back ride? Now that's sounds like fun!"

"Anyways, Makato. . .I. I understand how you feel not seeing the War. I'm just worried about you."

"I don't want to be apart from you either. I promise I will make it up to you. I need to tell everyone that you can trust me, but I'll continue. . ."

"Makato, let me make everything up to you."

"I was just taking good care of you."

"I love you for being you. Not by that dumb book."

"I'll be there for you always."

Her rough coughs interrupted her flashbacks. "If only. . . I could hear your voice one time. . . And everyone's. . ." Makato dropped to her knees . Her feet turned stale, she couldn't move. Her heart felt even more weak than before. Makato closed her eyes. She saw the same guy from her dreams.

"Don't worry. Everything is going to be fine. . . I promise."

"Mystery Man. You came back." Makato smiled.

"Call me Zack. . ."

"Zack. . ."

Gin found Makato lying on the grassy ground. "Precious. I thought you loved me. Here I was thinking of sparing your life." Gin pulled her arm and carried her. "Let's head back."

10:50 P.M.

It took a long time for Ike to find the location of Gin's house. He could see why the police would give up so easily. It was hard to see, especially in the forest.

'Keep going straight. . .' The same feminine voice told him.

"Straight huh?" Ike did as told and ran north. In just minutes, he found Gin's cabin. He stopped to catch his breath. "This must be it. Time for a warm welcome." Ike walked to the door and broke it with his foot. "Pardon for the intrusion!" The wooden door was sent flying, hitting the couch.

Gin happened to be on the same floor as Ike, in the kitchen, making tea. Gin was surprised to see a stranger that was not a female into his own home. "Who are you, stranger?"

"I'm looking for someone." Ike replied. Gin walked over to him, still holding the tray of tea.

"What did this person look like? I might be able to help."

"Pink hair. . ."

"Pink hair? I don't know anyone with pink hair. Sorry to disappoint you. How about some tea?"

Ike smacked the tray, making the tea spill all over his face. "I don't want any of your fucking tea."

Gin glared at Ike, still uncertain of his identity. "I see. . ."

"I'll say this again, have you seen anyone with blue eyes?"

"No."

"Pink hair?"

"No. . .!"

"Blue eyes?"

"No!"

"Are you sure?"

"There are no girls here! Leave!" He snapped.

Ike smirked. "I didn't say if there were girls here. . . Richard. . . Killer Richard."

Richard felt defeated, but he didn't want to let his ego down. "Heh, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He bursted out his evil laugh. "Since you know who I am, I'm afraid I can't let you leave Sir,"

"And I'm afraid I can't let you live, Sir. . ." Ike talked back. "Tell me, where's Makato."

"Oh! You are an acquaintance! Ok, I'll show you. Just follow me. . ." Richard lead Ike down to his basement. When they both made it to the floor, Richard stretched forth his hands in the air.

"Welcome to my collection. . . of 50 Maidens!"

Ike couldn't believe his eyes. He had young women's heads on a shelf. Still looking fresh, and taken cared of. All label with names and dates. He saw the name of the latest woman. Brenda, May 27.

Ike was on a verge of throwing up on his collection, but kept his cool.

Richard walked over to his knife collection. "Who knew I would get my first male visitor? Hahahaha. I hope you like what you see. Because Makato is going to be the 50th head! Let's celebrate!"

"You and your fucked up hobby of yours! Where's Makato?!" Ike wanted answers before he could choked the shit out of him.

"She's my Precious. I can't tell you! She's mine!" Richard grabbed his chain saw, turning on it's annoying noise. "Plus, I don't get why would you want a dead corpse?"

"Dead corpse?"

"I'm sure you don't want a dead corpse, do you?"

"Cut with the bullshit! Where's Makato?!"

"Don't believe me, eh? Precious tried to escape, but she died before she could. A miserable failure I tell ya! It was a good thing I put a good amount of poison on her lovely breakfast." Richard walked to Ike slowly with his chainsaw, ready to rip up a person to shreds. Ike backed away slowly, regretting to bring his sword.

"She wanted to stay with me. I was surprised. I poisoned the food, a slow and painless poison. It was fun having Precious, but her escaping was troublesome. I can't believe she punched me. As if she was like a different person. But, enough with the chit-chat, let's end this!"

"I was thinking the same thing!" Ike made a sliding kick to make Richard off balance. As he tripped, Ike ran up to his head collection and grabbed a Brenda's head. "Forgive me. . ."

"What are you doing to my collection?! Unhand her!" Richard got up and charged at Ike with the chainsaw.

"How about we play some soccer?!" Ike threw the head up in the air, ending it with a blasting round house kick. The head ran through the spikes of the chainsaw. Richard laughed. "Haha! Is that the best you can do?!"

"Wow, heartless much? Don't worry I got more." Ike grabbed another one and threw it like a professional football player. It knocked the engine of the chainsaw so hard, the engine stopped.

Richard was surprised. "How dare you! I'll still kill you even without the 'vroom vroom' noises! DIE!" Richard swung the chainsaw to Ike's face. Ike dodged it and made a copy-right final attack.

"This is the end for you! SHORYUKEN!" A dragon punch to the jaw, straight out of Street Fighter. Richard released his chainsaw by accident as it flew up in the air.

"ARRGHH! I-IMPOSSIBLE! YOU CAN'T STEAL SOMEONE ELSE'S MOVES!"

"Shut up you fucked up creep!" Ike couldn't help but to see the chainsaw flying up in the air, and coming straight back down to Richard's stomach. Blood splattered everywhere. Ike won the battle.

"I can't believe. . . it. . . I lost. . ." Richard coughed out blood.

Ike smirked at his dying body. "See how it feels to get a chainsaw right through your abdomen? Yea, it hurts like a bitch doesn't it?"

"F-fuck you."

". . ." Ike held out a knife.

"I-I mean, since you defeated me. . . I'll tell you where Precious is. . ."

"You sure can talk a lot for a dead man."

Richard pointed to the long wooden crate. "She's in. . . there. . ." Ike turned around and saw the wooden crate. Ike turned back to Richard, making sure he was dead, just in case if he were to do a surprise attack, even though there was a chainsaw through him to keep him from moving.

"Makato. . ." Ike ran up to the crate. He lifted the wooden lid off of the crate, revealing Makato. She wasn't responding to his actions, nor was she moving, or breathing. Ike supported her upper body.

"Makato, wake up. It's me. . . Ike. I'm here Makato."

She wasn't responding. Ike held her arm to check for a pulse, unfortunately, there wasn't a beat. Ike pulled her out of the crate, laying her against the crate.

"Wake up, Makato. This isn't a joke anymore." Ike touched her cold and pale face. He kissed her, but she wasn't Snow White.

"No, you can't die Makato. Come on, just open you eyes! Even if you were to wake up and say 'It's just a prank bro'! Or even if you were Kirby in disguise. I might just kill you. Just, in a happy way. So please. Say my name. . ." Ike felt his face began to heat up. He felt tears coming down from his face, pelting against Makato's face. Some memories of Makato came to his head.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you for saving my life! For a second there I thought I was a goner! I'm so grateful!"

"Can you um...hug me again if you don't mind? You're really warm."

"S-save me? Thank…you. I'm really happy. I didn't know you guys actually cared."

". . .What you said to me when you read the letter. I didn't want to be near you. You just made me nervous."

"Well, I realized, most of the time, you were the one saving me. And I'm really glad about that. So thank you Ike. And everyone else."

"Hey! Stop talking to him! Sharing is caring you player!"

"That's not it. Will you come back?"

"No, don't go Ike. Are you going to leave me here like last time?"

"I just wanted your love. I didn't want you to hate me. That was my wish, personally. Thank you Ike, for making it come true."

"But, I would be lying if I said that."

"Thank you. . ."

"Makato. I'm so sorry. . ." Ike embraced her body, unable to show her his tears. The memories kept on flowing about the potion princess, "If only. . . I didn't-!"

Ike carried her out of the basement, locking the door behind him. He didn't know what his next move would be. Ike couldn't bring Makato's body to the Smash Resort and say, 'Hey guys! I found Makato but she's dead. LOL.' Ike shook his head from those thoughts.

"This better not be like Romeo and Juliet. . . Wait, didn't Aerith said something about Holy Water?"

"Don't worry Ike, everything between you and Makato will be fine. When the time comes, take her to the Holy Water."

"Yea, she mentioned something Holy Water. . . Maybe, it's now." Ike stared at her face. "Wait for me, Makato."

"This place is sooo fun!" Roy danced along with his partner, Orange.

"You said it buddy!" Orange agreed.

"Wow, they are having so much fun." Robin said. Kiwi was busy eating her cotton candy.

"Hey, where's Indigo and Ike?" Miru asked Marth and Strawberry,

Marth shrugged. "I have no idea."

"Ooh, maybe they are doing, you-know-what?" Strawberry snickered. "Indigo does have a crush on Ike."

"That's an interesting background story." Lucina nodded.

"That's not even a background story." Miru said.

"Well, I hope they're having fun." Sally said.

"She's probably slobbing on his knob." Snake smirked.

"Eww, that's gross!" Magenta squealed.

"Don't even go there Snake!" Pit said.

"Hey, I'm a old man, I can think what I want to think."

"That's why you're so hot!" Sally wrapped her arms around Snake's.

"Um, because I'm old?"

"I give up." Peach pouted. Zelda sighed in defeat as well. "We can't find him anywhere." Mario and Link walked up to the two. Giving their hands out to the two princesses.

"Shall we dance?" They both asked.

Peach was in the verge of tears and hugged Mario. Zelda frowned and grab a hold of Link's hand. In the end, they gave up their rabbit hunting.

"See, what did I say?" Sonic said, eating a chilli dog.

"I guess you're right." Cloud said.

11:40 P.M.

Somehow, a trail of fireflies lead Ike to the Holy Water. It was a beautiful lake, surrounded by flowers, fireflies, and sparkling grass. Where the moon shined the most was the Holy Water. Two people were standing there, waiting for Ike on the other side of the lake.

"So this must be it." Ike stared at the unfamiliar man with spiky hair.

"Yo, the name's Zack," He waved.

He didn't seem like a madman to him. "Ike's the name." Ike replied.

"I'm glad you chose to do this Ike." Aerith said.

"I didn't choose to do this. I have to."

Aerith smiled from his comment. "Yes, this is the Holy Water, The water that can bring anyone back to life. Some people think it's a fluke. Plus, Holy Water is very rare, and hard to find. So you guys are the few people to find this water. It cannot be removed from this area, or it would just turn into plain, drinking tap water."

"I see. . . So how do I use this Holy Water on Makato?"

"Just lay her in the water." Zack said.

"Wow, easy as it sounds." Ike with Makato in his arms, carried her to the lake, even if it means getting himself soaked, it didn't matter. As long as he can see Makato again, happy and cheerful. Ike gently laid her on the water as she floated. His heart kinda felt some doubt that she would ever open her eyes. But he had faith.

Her body started to glow a white and golden color. The Holy Water was taking effect. Ike witnessed Makato, slowly opening her eyes, staring at the sky.

"She's alive. . . Makato." Ike was paralyzed in shock. Makato blinked once more. She felt soaked, yet in peace.

"What's this? I'm floating, yet I can't even swim. . ." Makato realized she was in a lake and panicked. Thus, her body began to sink. Before it sank completely, Ike grabbed hold of her arm and pulled her towards his body. Makato looked up to who or what saved her. Her heart raced, seeing the mercenary staring right at her, as if she was a newborn.

"Welcome back, Makato." Ike smiled.

"Ike. . ." Makato once more realized she was alive, back in her own body. No sign of Gin or his cabin. Just Ike and the water. She saw two more people, but recognized Zack.

"You see, Ike, Makato," Aerith started, "None of this was a coincidence. All of this, just so you guys could make up."

"Well that's kinda fucked up." Ike commented.

"I can't believe it." Makato muttered.

Zack laughed. "Anyways, I'm glad you're alright Makato. We'll leave you two alone. Just follow the light of the fireflies and you guys will be back to the Resort." They both waved off the two and left. "See ya, Makato."

"Bye, Ike. One day, we'll meet again."

They were both gone, leaving the Holy Water area. Makato thought of what Zack said. "Embrace your dreams. . . My dreams. What is my dream?" She murmured. Makato glanced up at Ike. Ike stared back at her.

"Ike. . . I never thought I would see you again. You're. . . my dream I want to embrace." Tears bursted out at the instant. Makato hugged Ike, still in the cold water.

"I'm so happy that you're alive, back to me. . ." Ike said.

"I'm so sorry for everything Ike. . . I pushed you away. I ignored you. I hated myself for doing those things. Ignoring you was the worst part. But I thought you loved Samus. So I. . ."

"Makato, I'll make this clear. Samus is just a friend. She means nothing to me." Ike said. He rubbed her hair. "You shouldn't be apologizing, I'm the one who should be saying sorry. I've ignored your feelings till that point."

Makato took his word and closed her eyes, laying her head on his chest. "I love you."

". . .What was that?"

"Sorry, I'm only saying it once. . ."

"Come on, this is a reunion. You shouldn't act this way."

Makato faced turned cherry red, becoming flustered. "I said, I-I love you. . ."

"I've already heard it the first time." Ike sticked his tongue out. Makato pushed him away from her. "Ike! You're so mean!" She splashed some water on his face out of frustration.

"Hehe, sorry." He laughed. Makato sank her face in the water.

"Aw, don't be like that, Makato. I said I was sorry." Ike lifted her body and twirled her around.

"H-hey! Ike!" Makato panicked a little.

"Don't be embarrassed, no one is around. Just the two of us." Ike smirked. He released her down back on her own feet, embracing her once more. "I love you, too."

Ike brushed her hair away from her neck and kissed it. Makato felt Ike's lips against her neck. Deep within her pale skin. Makato fidgeted from his touch. She tried to move his head away from her neck. " Ike. . . Don't. . . It's embarrassing."

"There's nothing to be embarrassed about." Ike whispered.

Indigo was still on the lookout for Ike, in the dark forest. "Where are you Ike?" Indigo was on the verge to give up and turn back until something caught her eye. A glowing lake. Maybe Ike was there. She ran in her ruined kimono, hurrying over to the lake. Indigo smiled with hope in her eyes. From afar, she saw two figures in the lake. She thought, 'why were they in a lake? Yea, it may be a little warm at this evening, but the water is cold to go swimming!'

Indigo finally reached her destination at the lake. She saw Ike and rejoiced in her mind. "Ike-san!" She quietly called out. She was about to call out his name again, until she saw another figure with Ike. It was a girl. They weren't just standing in the lake, they were making out instead. Indigo dropped to her knees. Her heart sank and cracked like a cornflake.

"No, Ike! Why would you go to another woman? Could this be Makato you speak of? Why do you look so happy? Do I not satisfy you?" Indigo bawled out her feelings and wrapped her arms around her body. Ike and Makato parted, hearing a noise.

"Did you hear something?" Makato asked.

"Probably a bear." Ike said.

"A bear? It sounded like a girl. . ."

"Well, I don't know. Who cares." Ike shrugged. "Let's get out of the water, before you catch a cold."

"And you as well." Makato smiled.

"Do you want to go back to the Resort?"

"Um, honestly I don't, not in these soaked up clothes." Makato frowned at her blouse and skirt. "Not to mention I'm not wearing my shoes, but socks instead."

"Let's look for a place then. I rather not go back either." Ike held Makato's hand as they both left the Holy Water. Indigo hid her presence, watching the couple talking every often. Indigo decided to follow them, hoping it was all just an act.

Luckily, Ike and Makato found an abandoned home. It seemed very fresh to be an abandoned home. A sign was next to the housesaying: 'I hate the forest. I'm moving back to the city where I fucking belong. Claim this home if you want, but the water bills won't be coming to me :p'.

"Strange sign." Makato commented.

"Who cares, let's go. I hope there's a change of clothes." Ike and Makato head inside the morden house and explored a bit. Indigo watched from the distance, thinking of the right time to come in.

Resort

12:02 A.M.

"Wow, to slob on someone's knob, That's for sure taking a long time." Snake muttered, snoring.

"Baka, Ike wouldn't never let that happen to him." Marth mumbled.

"I'm sure they're just fine. Just go back to sleep." Roy said.

;_;

Luckily there were some yukatas in the closet for both of them to wear and sandals. As they dried their clothes on hangers, Makato and Ike head into a room that had twin size bed. So their was only one person who lived here. Makato ran up to the bed and dove right into it.

"So warm. . ." She grinned. Makato got up and opened the covers. She glanced back to Ike, who was snickering.

"Hey, what's so funny?" Makato blushed.

"Nothing, nothing at all." Ike answered shaking his hand. "You get some sleep. I'm gonna look around the house for a bit."

Makato yawned. "If you say so. Good night."

Ike waited for Makato to fall asleep before he searched around the house. Closing the door behind, Ike descended from the stairs. He felt more aware of his surroundings, feeling watched. Being watched. The sense of someone watching him. Could it be the ghost of the owner? Ike shook his head, knowing that was highly impossible. He thought about Richard, but he was dead. He heard the echoes of footsteps every 3 seconds. The person walked up slowly to him face to face. Ike was pretty surprised to see who it was.

"Indigo. . ." Ike stared at her ruined kimono, along with her face and hair. Indigo tried to make a smile. "Ike-san, I was looking for you. Just when I finally found you, you. . ." Indigo trailed. She stared at the wooden flooring. She locked her fist up, shaking. "You were with that girl. Makato, was it?"

". . .Yea."

"Why did you leave me behind, Ike-san? I thought you love me! I thought you didn't have a girlfriend!" Indigo ran up to him and gave him a hug. She cried and cried. Ike stared at her indigo hair and patted her head.

"I'm sorry, Indigo. There was someone I got to save. And it was Makato. I love her more than I love a stranger that I just met today." A giant arrow pointed at Ike, referring back to chapter 1. . .

"I understand. . ." Indigo wiped her tears, releasing him. "She's very pretty, unlike me. . ."

"I know right? I mean-it had nothing to do with beauty." Ike coughed awkwardly.

"Ike-san. I did enjoy our time together. It was fun."

"Was it really that fun?" Ike asked.

"Yes, believe it or not. I enjoyed it. Especially to be with my favorite Smasher" She smiled.

Ike smirked. He loved being admired by his fans. It then struck his mind. Hanging around Marth made him a little bit more. . . narcissistic. Ike shook his head and sweat dropped. "So, you followed me here? Why would you go that far?"

"Like I said, Ike-san. . ." Indigo smiled, "I love you. Me confessing to you made me less shy."

". . ."

"Ike-san? Before we part. Can you walk with me back to the Smash Resort?"

"Of course." Ike answered.

"Also, I have one favor to ask of you. . ."

"I'll take anything you ask me to do." Ike made an apologetic smile.

Indigo glanced up at Ike then back to the floor. "If so then," Indigo pushed him, making him fall on his butt.

"Hey, what was that for?!"

Indigo climbed on top of him, slowly removing his yukata. Ike stopped her hand from doing anymore actions. "Care to explain what you're doing?" He said with a serious tone. "Not that I like where this is going or anything. . ."

"You said anything I wanted. . ."

"Yea, but at least tell me!"

Indigo removed her hand from Ike's grasp. Still on top of him, she started to slide the sleeves of her kimono, slowly undressing herself. Ike stopped her from continuing any further.

"Stop it Indigo, I'm not going to have sex with you."

"I just wanted to bare your children."

"It's the same thing. Now, get off of me."

"Sorry." Indigo obeyed and slowly got up. In the end, Ike and Indigo walked back to the Smash Resort, which took some time. It felt weird to walk back to the forest, but he didn't want to leave Makato. They both said their good-byes and parted ways. Ike headed back to the freshly, abandoned home for tonight. Later, he made it to his destination to the bedroom, seeing Makato, sleeping, hogging the whole bed. He sat on the bed, weighing the bed down.

'Might as well, sleep on the ground. . . Fuck the ground. I want a comfy bed! I'm sure she won't mind. . .' Ike lifted the blankets and tucked himself to bed. It was a little cramp for Ike, having the bed against the wall, however he endured it. He never thought he would be sleeping with Makato again.

Expect, things were different this time.
