Chapter 67: Demonic Entrance
2:00 P.M.
"Where. Are. They?" Mikoru swiped the marriage license papers from his desk when he heard the news of all of his elite soldiers were missing. A group of Dark Knights gave each other looks and shook their heads.
"We don't know, Milord!"
"FIND THEM IMMEDIATELY!" Mikoru demanded. He annoying clicked his tongue from his own elite soldiers missing all of a sudden. "Why can't I get in touch of Michelle?" He murmured.
Before they left by their orders, a Dark Knight ran to Mikoru to give some unfortunate news.
"Lord Mikoru! There's a huge hole in the basement that leads directly out of the castle! There's not even a single prisoner there!"
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" Mikoru released all of his anger into his fist as he slammed it on the table. The table burst into tiny splinters of woods and some of the pieces got into some of the Dark Knight's skin. They tried their best to keep silent from the pain they felt at the instant it struck them. Mikoru glared at his soldiers as if they were the cause of everything. "Even the King and Queen are missing?!"
"Y-yes!" The Dark Knight startled back.
"Without them, I don't even have a hostage. As long as Makato doesn't know about them. . ." Mikoru growled quietly, knowing his plans were turning into mud.
"Um, about that. . ." The Dark Knights looked at each other with scared faces.
"Come on just say it."
"No, you say it."
"You think I want to die?"
Mikoru watched them argue until another Dark Knight came in. "MILORD! LADY MAKATO IS MISSING! M.I.S.S.I.N.G!"
"What?" From that point on, Mikoru's sanity was all lost. His face was twice as pale as before. He gently got up from his seat and slowly came into a chaotic, outrageous laugh. The Dark Knights stared at him awkwardly, not knowing what else to say or do. Instead, they quietly chuckled along with Mikoru.
"I should have just killed them on the spot!" Mikoru exclaimed, feeling enormous regret. "They took everything from me! I'm going to kill every last one of them!" Mikoru shot his cold eyes at his soldiers as if he was about to kill them. "There are Smashers in the village wearing the same exact outfit as our Dark Knights uniform. If they're not human, kill them. If they look like a video game character, kill them as well. Search the whole village of Niho! I want them all dead at my wedding!" This announcement was not only to the Dark Knights that were with Mikoru, but to every Dark Knight that possessed the tattoo on their bodies.
"Yes, Milord!"
Once Mikoru was left alone, he summoned himself up to the rooftop of the castle. A cold breeze slithered down his spine as he slowly drew his demon sword out.
"I need some friends. . . to help me. . ." Mikoru lifted his sword over his head and performed a dramatic spin with his sword before slamming the blade to the castle. A large hole was created at the instant. A faint red was being formed slowly becoming a blood hole. A fiery blast spat out from the hole becoming even larger than before.
"NOW COME!" He roared from the top of his lungs. Monsters and demons and witches exploded out of the hole like firecrackers in the air. Snickers and laughs came out from the monsters quickly making their way in Niho. The sky was clogging with bloody clouds, ruining the blue and perfect sky. It kept spreading like a wild fire, till the whole sky above Niho was consumed with its unusual demonic sky.
"You want to piss me off, go ahead. I'll make sure you won't get in the way." Mikoru glared at the sky completely filled with revenge.
(oOoOoOo)
"I'm sensing something bad," The Dark Knight girl spoke quietly to herself as she flew along with Ike, Marth, Roy, and Miru. "It's coming closer. . ."
"Guys! I'm sensing something unreal!" Marth exclaimed while looking at the dark red sky. Their eyes followed Marth's and they too saw what the prince was talking about.
"Shit. . ." Roy murmured. "It's red, like my hair!"
"I think you mean your soul," Miru commented.
Ike scoffed, "Since when can you sense stuff like a dog?"
Marth angrily smiled at him. "Since the day your mom laid eyes on me."
Ike choked hold him furiously, "You take that back!"
"URGH!" Marth fought back, both choking each other till the brick of their fall off the dragon.
"Guys, this isn't the time to be fighting!" Miru said. The moment he said that thunder struck the clouds, which disturbed Corrin's flying to bend a little. Marth and Ike immediately stopped their intense bickering to watch the lighting from afar. "This isn't good, it's most likely Mikoru's shit. We gotta head for the main part of the village." Miru told the crew, especially, Corrin, who was basically the JPS of the ride. Corrin roared and Miru took that as a yes to his order.
"We can only assume that Makato is there. . . hopefully." Ike said. The female Dark Knight could feel his worriness without even taking a glance at his face. She tugged his cape for his attention.
"Um, what if I told you. . . that I'm-"
"I seriously need to put some kind of tracking device on her. I don't care if she's in the shower or not-" Ike stopped talking and turned his head to the Dark Knight girl. "Did you say something?"
"No. . . I didn't." Her face suddenly pale as she tugged her hoodie more over her head.
"Look out! A dragon! It's heading straight at us! It's huge!" Roy shouted. The female Dark Knight released his cape quickly and faced the opposite direction of where they were going. It was going twice as Corrin's speed was going. Ten times as bigger with sharp razor teeth opening out wide with its hot, melting breath. Its wings flapped like drugs drizzled in chocolate. Everyone began to panic.
"Cornbread! Dodge the dragon!" Ike yelled directly at Corrin's dragon ear pipe.
"Roooar?!"
"Left!" It seemed that Ike was a dragon whisperer.
"Roooar roar?!"
"No! Your right is my left!"
Just when Corrin was about to make his choice of dodging, the red bloody dragon slammed right on his behind causing Corrin to lose balance in the sky.
"AAAH!"
"ROOOAR!"
"Who cares if it just tackled your ass! Don't kill us!" Ike shouted. The crew did their best to keep a hold onto Corrin after that mini air quake that shook them. The dragon passed right by them after that and it seemed it was heading for the same place. The main village of Niho.
"I-is everyone okay?" Marth felt exhausted as he did his damn best not to fall off.
"Yea. . ." Roy shook his head regardless, "I feel like I'm going to be sick. . ."
"I feel like we're missing someone. . ." Miru eyed Ike, Marth, and Roy with a cautious expression.
"If you mean Kirby, he ditched the sky ride a long time ago. . . that stupid pink slime chicken nugget. . ." Ike rolled his eyes from the thought of it.
"I know right? He said he was hungry so he jumped right off." Marth sighed. "Rest in pieces, Kirby."
"Chicken nuggets do sound good. . ." Roy showed a lazy smile to his friends.
"No, not him. . . where's that Dark Knight girl?" Miru asked.
The four of them checked their surroundings. Not a cloaked girl in sight.
"I think we lost her from that dragon!" Marth said.
"We got to get her! She knows where Makato is!" Roy said.
"There's no time! We need to warn everyone about the sky that is filling up with demons!" Miru said. "Unfortunately, we'll have to look for Makato without her."
(oOoOoOo)
"ATTENTION ALL DARK KNIGHT SCUMS! THERE ARE TRAITORS WITHIN OUR OCCULT! THESE PEOPLE ARE CALLED SMASHERS! FIND THEM AND KILL THEM! THEY WEAR THE SAME OUTFIT AS US! JUST AS OUR LORD MIKORU SAID, IF IT LOOKS EDIBLE, EAT IT."
"What?! Traitors?!"
"We must kill them!"
"What do they look like?!"
"He said like game characters."
The Dark Knights began an all full out war in the main village. While the security was broken, the villagers took the chance to escape and make even more chaos. The Smashers too heard the announcement and took cautious at the explosions surrounding them.
"They caught us!" Zelda said.
"Um, if so, why are they fighting each other?" Link pointed at a group of Dark Knights beating each other up with their dark magic.
Zelda shrugged. "Who knows."
"Look at the sky! It's turning red!" Mario exclaimed, pointing.
"You're right!" Pit said.
"The pages have certainly turned. . ." Meta Knight said. "We must be ready."
"Something tells me Ike and the others caused this. . ." Robin sighed, staring at the sky.
"Staring at a demonic colored sky is not good for you, Robin. You'll get flashbacks if you know what I mean." Lucina placed his hand on his shoulder.
"I know, but red is my favorite color. . ." Robin couldn't help but grin.
"Honestly, if we retreat now, there will be even more chaos than before," Lucario said.
"Guys, there's a dragon coming this way!" Pit shouted which caused even the Dark Knights to look up at the sky.
"AH! Dragon!"
"RUNN!"
"That's all I can do anyway!"
"FUck tHis! I diDn't jOiN tHe DaRK KNighTs tO GEt kILLed!"
"Me too!"
"I rather kill myself than getting killed by a dragon!"
The Dark Knights did themselves a favor and all caught themselves a wyvern rider and left Niho as soon as possible. With only the terrified villagers left, worming around the area, the Smashers were left with two jobs: to protect the people of the village and to defeat that incoming dragon.
Zelda watched the red dragon coming slowly to a land and removed her cloak. "It's about time I bring out the Golden Flower Goddess."
"Don't waste it on the dragon! We need it for Mikoru!" Link reminded Zelda.
"Oh, I forget. . ." Zelda checked her dress and realized something was missing. "AH! I lost the Golden Flower Goddess!"
"Whaaat?!" A bunch of Smashers near her exclaimed.
"Ugh, must I do everything by myself?" Ganondorf removed his cloak and placed his fist together.
"No one asked you, pork butt. . ." Ness said.
"Oh, the pain! Oh, the horror! Yall to weak to fight such a mere dragon! Very well! I shall defeat it!" King Dedede walked up front to where Ganondorf was. The evil pig was pleased.
"Hey! I called dibs on the dragon first!"
"No, I did!"
"Leave the dragon to me! Maybe, I'll get promoted!" Bowser came up as well. The dragon watched the three villains as he breathed through his fiery nostrils.
"While they keep the dragon handicapped, we need to protect the villagers," Samus said.
"Yes, good idea," Zelda said.
"Agree with you, Sammy! If I think long and hard, maybe Cloud may come to my rescue! EEEK!" Peach squealed at the end.
"Um. . ." Samus sweat dropped and just drew out her plasma whip. "Okay then. . ."
"Guys! I see more monsters coming this way!" Pit pointed from the horizon. An army of demons was marching toward the main village, bringing their destruction and evilness with them.
"This is going to be tough!" Lucas cried.
"We gotta be on our feet." Sonic seemed chilled about the whole situation that was happening right now.
"Agreed." Snake said, loading his bullets.
"This will be easy, I swear!" Falco said.
"Yea right. Like it was easy for you to floss your beak." Fox rolled his eyes.
"That was just once!"
The chatting stopped when the monsters came for them in different shapes and forms. The Smashers did their damn best to fight off the demons while protecting the villagers with their lives.
(oOoOoOo)
The potion of a Dark Knight wore off completely once she passed down a few long tree branches before face-planting the Earth. After her long recovery on her face stuffed with weeds dirt, she slowly came up to her feet, legs still wobbly from the long fall. Makato plucked a few branches from her dress and hair before checking her surroundings.
"I can't believe I'm alive. . ." Makato slowly moved her arms and legs if they were in pain. "My joints seem to be in great shape- -AHHH!" Makato then collapsed to the ground, feeling extraordinary pain. "I take. . . that back. . . I can't even more. . ."
"ROOOOAR!"
"What was that?!" Makato yelped, checking the dark forest around her. Growling came in after right in front of her. She looked at the ground to find a weapon, at least, to defend herself from this mysterious beast. She spotted a thick piece of wood that looked almost like a baseball bat still in the making. The bushes right in front of her shook like maracas. Makato reached for the stick and held it firmly toward herself.
"I- -I got a stick and I'm not afraid to use it."
The bushes stopped moving and the creature of evil came before her.
"What the. . .?" Makato sighed in relief. The monster happened to be an innocent little slime. Small as Kirby, green as the snot itself. The slime stared at her and slowly giggled its body toward her. Makato still had her stick ready just in case.
"SLIME." The slime spoke with its high pitched voice.
"Slime?"
"SLIME."
"Did you make that noise?" Makato asked the slime.
"SLIME." It responded. The ROOOOAR came back, coming from its stomach.
"Oh, you must be hungry." Makato looked around the forest. So far there wasn't anything edible for the slime to munch on. A few more slimes came out from the same bush. Makato only hoped to find them harmless.
"What do you slimes eat? Fruit? Grass? Are you all vegans? I bet some of you guys are vegetarians." Makato asked the clan of slimes that gathered around her.
"SLIME."
"I don't speak Slime." Makato sweat dropped.
"HUMAN BONES." The slimes translated.
Makato had her eyes wide from their answer. "Wait, what? Human bones, you say?" She laughed, hoping they were joking.
"HUMAN BONES." They repeated, staring at her.
Makato grabbed her stick she placed right next to her. "Well, I don't have any human bones. . . on me. . . So, bye bye!" She tried shooing them away with her stick, but they stood in their spots as solid as a rock. Human bones could only mean Makato was going to die any minute now. They were too smart for their own good when they found her.
"HUMANBONESHUMANBONESHUMANBONESHUMANBONES-!" The slimes chanted as they bounced their bodies up and down. They started making the way toward Makato.
"Get away!" Makato was forced to use the stick against the slimes. She slammed her stick against one of the first slimes that came to her and green goo splattered everywhere. Makato continued the attack with her eyes shut, now terrified of the human-eating slimes.
There weren't any human bones chanting and Makato took the opportunity to open her eyes. All the slimes around her were instant goo.
"If you guys weren't human eaters, I wouldn't have killed you. . ." Makato said at the end.
"Oh, so it was a mere little girl. . ." A grown woman's voice echoed into the princess' ears. Makato checked her left and right side. Not a person in sight. The voice was very close to her, but she couldn't spot the woman.
"Who are you? Where are you?" Makato thought it was best to speak to the red sky. Makato's hair flings so far back as if Sonic passed by her. Loud gunshots blasted through her ears that the demons hidden in the forest ran off quickly before they too get shot. Makato then blinked and noticed the sound of a gun just then. She checked behind and noticed an orange orge had a bullet mark on its forehead. "Since when did that happened?" Makato asked herself. She tried to get up, but her legs already given up on her. Makato turned back and the first thing she noticed was a pair of skin tight black heels with blue guns at the back.
"You best leave this place, little girl. Or you'll get eaten up by hungry demons." It was the same voice that she heard from before. It was more clear to Makato that the woman had a British accent. Makato slowly looked up and witnessed the tall woman smirking at her from below. Makato swallowed in her anxiety and noticed the woman holding a pair of large, blue guns. Makato glanced down at her stick. Compared to her guns, she wouldn't stand a chance. Also, her injured legs kept her from fleeing.
"I. . . . um. . . who are you?" She was lost for words, knowing for a fact she wasn't human. How could a human have a shadow with butterfly wings on it she her physical appearance didn't? Also with her inhuman height, she was definitely not a human. Makato noticed the tiny details of her black, sleek glasses and the mole on the side of her chin. Her short, elegant hair. Makato slowly nodded to herself that her bewitching beauty was inhuman.
"That's not really important." She responded with her hands on her hips.
"But. . . you saved my life." Makato showed a tiny smile.
The woman tilted her head. "I just got bored. They were so many demons here, I decided to take a look at it myself. You best leave this place." The woman was about to make her way out but Makato quickly lunged to her legs, making her trip.
"Hey! Watch it!" She snapped.
"Wait! I need help. I can't move my legs. I'm trying to get to the main village of Niho." Makato cried out to her. "Pleaseeeee, I'm begging you!"
"Fageet 'bout it!" The woman spoke in an offense Italian accent as she got up to her feet and dusted her skin tight outfit. "I'm not going to be your babysitter." The black-haired woman began to walk away, however, Makato lunged to her legs again, taking no for an answer. This time the woman didn't trip. Instead, she was really annoyed.
"I'll do anything! Please, help me!" Makato literally began to wail so loudly the demons around her stared at the black-haired woman. She looked around at her surroundings and realized Makato was luring in some attention around her.
"Ugh, fine I'll help you!" She gave up and pointed the guns at the demons that were to stand in her way. The demons fled once more, being out of her sight. Makato wiped her tears and smiled brightly.
"Thank you!"
The woman carried the princess on her back and began walking. "This is going to cost you." She then said.
"What is it that you want?" Makato asked.
She only smirked for her own satisfaction. "I'm hungry to find an angel. But, I doubt you'll know what I'm talking about-"
"Oh! I know an angel! He's so adorable! You'll like him!" Makato said.
"Is that a fact?"
"Yep!"
"I'll take your word then. Also, I want some lollipops. Dum Dums are my favorite."
"Okay." Makato adjusted her arms around the woman's neck.
"I hope you're not afraid of heights, little girl. Because this trip will be high."
(oOoOoOo)
"Ah-choo!" Pit sneezed loudly while being on patrol in the sky if anything fishy was to happen. "Who could be talking about me? Oh, another dragon. . ." Pit wiped his eyes for another vision check. He squinted so tightly the angel was able to see Ike on the dragon before the others. "Guys! I see Ike! And Marth-! Roy-! Miru-!"
The dragon did a stomp as he squashed more demons below him for a parking. Ike and the others hopped out of the dragon and Corrin went back to his original form.
"Look at this place! It's horrible!" Marth said.
"Guess we're too late." Ike murmured.
"Oh! Ike!" Zelda shouted his name. Ike turned to see Zelda behind her as she walked up to him.
"What's going on here?" Ike asked.
"What does it look like? Demons invaded this place! We're doing our damn best to stop it from happening."
"The only way to stop this is to defeat that evil guy!" Link exclaimed.
Miru sighed. "He's probably still at the castle being the typical evil final boss."
"The sooner we kill him, the better," Ike said.
"Um, Ike?" Marth whispered over to Ike's ear.
"Excuse me," Ike cleared his throat, "the sooner we 'defeat' him, the better.
"Yea," Roy said.
"Sonic! You think you can look for the Golden Flower Goddess?!" Zelda yelled over to him while he was fighting some psycho female demons.
"No problem! I'll search the whole place if I have to!" Sonic left a sonic boom trailing him, leaving the main part of the village.
"You lost it?" Ike kinda had his jaw dropped.
Zelda scratched her head and spoke in a high pitched voice, "Maybeee~"
"Think of it as buying you guys time when you fight Mikoru." Link said.
"Yes, of course. Now, get to the castle! There's no time to waste!" Zelda said.
"We'll accompany you!" A familiar voice spoke from the distance. Marth was able to recognize the two immediately.
"Ah! Makato's dear brother and sister! Where have you guys been? We haven't heard from you in the chapters!"
"Haha! We were outside the gates of Niho to see if any Dark Knights escaped." Haru poked Marth's forehead for the fun of it. "Fortunately, they did show up with their luggage and suitcases with their wyvern riders! So LMAO!"
"If you're ready to die, come with us." Flora only said.
"You haven't changed a bit, Flora. . ." Miru said with a sweat drop.
"Okay! I'll choose the party!" Haru said. He looked amongst the men around him and thought with a wise mind.
"Miru! Because I know you." He pointed at Miru.
"Huh, okay. . ."
"You look broken!" Haru pointed at Corrin.
"I'll do my best."
"We need a visual in the group!" Haru pointed at Marth.
"I know." Marth flipped his hair.
"That's my great great great great great great great great (100x) grandfather for you!" Lucina squealed when he was chosen to be in the group.
"Um, why are we watching this?" Robin said confused.
"Hmm," For some reason, Haru's eyes didn't even go to Ike's which pissed him off so badly. "I like Roy, so he can come!"
"Yaya!" Roy cheered. Roy glanced at Ike who was tapping his feet like a mad man, waiting for his name to be called.
"One more person," Flora said.
"Okay, the last person will be Kirby! Huh? Where is he?' Haru happily looked around for the cute and unpredictable puffball.
"Hey, I think you're missing somebody." Ike head-butted Haru's head with a giant vein popping from his head.
"Huh? I think I got everyone that is qualified to be in my awesome party!" Haru still held a grudge against Ike, even today.
"Stop being picky!" Flora snapped and used her lighting against Ike and her own brother. Both of them got the shock of their lives.
"Why me. . .?" Ike coughed out smoke that came from his mouth.
"Ike is coming with us whether you like it or not! I feel like we have too many people in our party. . . One of you stays here, just in case."
"I can. . ." Corrin shyly raised his hand.
Flora nodded and face the others that would join the adventure to the castle. "Good, let's get going."
"Good luck!" Zelda waved them off.
"We're going on a road trip! Road trip! Road trip! Road trip! We're going on a road trip!" Roy and Haru sang loudly. Marth did his best to ignore them, Miru was going through a phase of regrets, and Ike quietly spoke to himself of what he was going to do with Mikoru and how he was going to get Makato.
And how he was going to put a tracking device on her.
(oOoOoOo)
Castle
"As the final boss, I'll keep being an attention whore and show my whole demon army to the village of Niho! Hurry up, Smashers! Hahahaha!" Mikoru sat on the throne of what used to be the King's throne. There were a few Dark Knights that stood beside him during this demon rainfall.
"He gone crazy, I swear. . ." A Dark Knight sighed.
"Tell me about it." Another Dark Knight agreed with him.
"This place is different if you look around." A Dark Knight commented on the dark aura around this place. Mikoru nodded and got up from his throne.
"That's right, I turned this castle into labyrinth. If they can surpass my traps, then they are worthy of fighting me."
"So this man called Ike, he was never worthy, to begin with?"
Mikoru stared at his soldier and nodded. "Yes-"
"Psych! That's the wrong Smasher!"
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!"
Few Seconds Later. . .
"I hope these monsters like seared humans with grilled potatoes." Mikoru swiped his hands after dumping out the trash into his incinerator.
