Chapter 75: Judgement Time

Midnight

June 7th

After an intense battle of Twister, Ike was lucky to win the bet over Makato. Both men had sweat dripping from their foreheads.

Ike's heart was racing in both a healthy and unhealthy way. The healthy way was to get his blood pumping through his veins, but the unhealthy part was when he couldn't stop thinking about the dumb bet that almost gave him a heart attack.

"I can't believe I bet Makato in a Twister game! It should have been Uno! No, I shouldn't have said yes in the first place." Ike breathed out heavily.

Mikoru finally got up from the mat after his miserable failure in Twister. He could carry a heavy sword, but he couldn't balance on his pinky toe with a leg crossing his hand. "I'm taking a break."

Ike looked over at him while trying to catch his breath. "Sulking again?"

"Shut up." Mikoru snapped while making his way to the empty kitchen. Ike watched the dark prince opening the fridge for a Capri Sun.

"Got a Dr. Pepper?" Ike asked, getting up from the Twister mat.

Mikoru slammed the fridge and glared at him. "I got a L for you."

Ike sighed. "Stop being so stingy! It's just a stupid game."

"It wasn't just a stupid game! It was a game to bet on my marriage!" Mikoru corrected him.

Ike arched an eyebrow and stared deeply into his eyes. "Wait, you were that serious?"

Mikoru sat on a chair of the dining table where there were some leftover Chinese food smelling all over dining room. "You think I should just let it go?"

"Yea?" Ike made his way into the kitchen and snoop in a Dr. Pepper for his exhausted body. Mikoru sighed and waited for Ike to come back to the dining table. The mercenary sat across from the dark prince while eating some leftover, chilled potstickers.

They took a little break before saying anything to each other.

"Hey," Mikoru spoke up to Ike. "Why do you like her?"

"Her?" Ike was about done with his Dr. Pepper, as he glanced at him.

"Makato." Mikoru clarified his question. "I don't understand. How could your love be compared to mine for Makato?"

Ike chuckled a little before setting his empty can down. "Heh, you don't get it, do you?" Ike showed a smirk right after. "She was the only one who saw me for my true self. It was just a few months ago when she came into the Smash Mansion. . ."

Weird Flashback

Ike's POV

I was busy admiring the lillies at the garden in the mansion. That was usually my secret place after my brawls. I would talk to the lilies as if I actually had friends. That's where I got the line "I fight for my friends" when in reality, "I fight for my delusional mind" came to place back then. I thought I had a money, hoes, respect. Nope. I had nothing.

"How's it going Junior?" I crouched down to the lilies that was gently swaying from the warm breeze on a sunny day. "Wow, you're blooming better than ever, Kevin. Keep it up Adam or Katrina will beat your ass."

"Pfft~" A girly laughter interrupted my conversation with my buddies. I turned around to see who was the one who spotted my secret place.

And I needed to count how many bodies I would be forced to bury.

It happened to be Makato, one of the new people who was a Princess of potions or whatever.

Great.

She would be a tough one to deal with.

Maybe I could tie her up and sell her off as a prostitute.

I tried to calm my racing heart, for her beauty was just out of this world. "M-Makato?"

"Wow," Makato stopped giggling and walked toward me. "I seen your brawls sometimes, and you were pretty ruthless. Then again, I never expected you to have a soft spot for flowers."

Makato kneeled right next to me to admire Kevin, Adam, and Katrina. I watched her eyes brightening up from the lilies that I was checking out, but I couldn't just let her slip in. I wanted to know if she was the type of person to gossip.

"So you're gonna gossip about me?" I despised bitches who just only live their world around gossip.

"Ike," Makato took in a breath before touching the lilies, "I'm not a bitch."

"That's good to know- -wait did you just read my mind?" Ike lower the weight of his sword back to the side on his legs.

She shook her head and continued. "I think it's nice to look at the flowers. They're so pretty. This is also my favorite place in the mansion: the garden." Makato faced me with shy eyes.

I was a little skeptical at first when I saw her. I mean, when I heard she was a princess, I was turned on. But when I heard she made potions, I instantly thought she was a part in some kind of occult. But. . .

"Ike, I think I know your flower." Makato said.

"Huh?" I looked down at her.

"Ranunculus." She answered brightly.

"W-what is that. . .?" I faked a smile to her. I tried to limit my curse words around her and transferred my language to my abnormal blink. What I wanted to say was, "WHAT THE BLOODY FUCKING HELL IS THAT PIECE OF SHIT?! I KNEW YOU WERE A GOSSIPING BITCH, YOU BLOOD SUCKING CUNT!"

"It means Radiant." Makato then said. "When I first saw you, I knew you had some kind of radiance in you that you never let go."

"I get that a lot. . . my games have the word, 'radiant' in it." I spoke, trying to act cool. In reality, I never received that kind of answer in my life before. That was when I knew she saw through me for the first time of who I really was:

A delusional boy.

Regardless of what she thought about me, my heart started racing even more.

"Makato, to me, I think you're like. . ." I wanted to repeat what Makato said to me, so I looked over at Kevin for a good example. I pointed to the tall lily that was facing my direction. "You're like Kevin."

"Kevin?" Makato followed the finger and saw the tall lily. "I'm not a boy."

"Are you assuming his gender?"

". . ."

"But you're right about Kevin being a HE." Ike cleared his throat and continued, "Yea. Kevin was my first flower I grew in the garden, and ever since, he was getting stronger throughout the crazy weathers. You're not like my other flowers in the past like Alex and Suzy that died in the snow. Fucking weaklings, I swear. . ." I shook my head at those damned flowers.

Makato smiled and poked my arm playfully. "That's sweet of you."

"W-what? Alex and Suzy dying was sweet?" I could feel my face burning up so quickly, and I could only hope it wasn't noticeable.

Makato then burst out in a laugh before shaking her head. "No! Not your flowers. What you said to me earlier. Thank you, that really means a lot to me." Makato got up from her position and I did the same. I was able to get on my feet, but Makato tripped and fell onto my chest.

I couldn't even describe in words how I was feeling at that moment, but my crotch told me so.

"Ah, I'm so sorry," Makato apologized, as she looked up at me. Her ocean blue eyes were complimenting my sapphire eyes. Her body was extremely warm like a blanket, and I couldn't help but to pull her into an embrace.

She flinched from the wrapping of my arms, but slowly soaked herself into the embrace.

Before Makato could say anything, I leaned over to her ears and whispered, "Don't forget to give Mikoru a L for believing in this story."

End of Flashback

Normal POV

"You bastard! You made it up!" Mikoru shouted angrily.

Ike smirked and rolled his eyes. "Well, duh! I don't give a shit for flowers!"

Mikoru growled and sucked the life of his Capri Sun. "I almost believed you for a second!"

"I got bored." Ike replied while picking a cold spring roll from a plate. "But in all honesty, Makato was my pink goddess that removed the sadness in my heart from my breakup. She made me so tingly inside." Ike flipped his hair with a impressed look on his face.

"I see what you meant by tingly." Mikoru looked below the table at Ike's crotch.

"FUCK!" Ike covered his private area from the dark prince.

"Quite. . ." Mikoru also took a spring roll from the plate and observed it. "To me, Makato was my shining light that saved me from being completely consumed in darkness."

"Aren't you already consumed by darkness?" Ike furrowed his eyebrows at the dark prince.

Mikoru took a bite of his spring roll and pretended not to hear that. "She was my PYT, my caramel macchiato. I loved her, for she loved me back."

"BORING!" Ike interrupted Mikoru's pure thoughts of Makato. "Get to the juicy part!"

Mikoru shot a grumpy look at the mercenary. "Well excuse me! I'm not a pervert, like you!"

"Says who? Your crotch?" Ike did the same of what Mikoru did to him not too long ago. Mikoru instantly covered his private area and panicked. "My- -my thoughts give me a strange boner!"

(oOoOoOo)

After an awkward moment of silence, Mikoru got up from his seat and summoned his sword. Ike too got up from his seat and drew his sword out.

"Anyways, let's get serious and have a fair fight. If I win, I get Makato. Got it?" Mikoru smirked.

"Heh, don't underestimate me!" Ike said.

Mikoru swung his sword up in the air and threw a magic dart at his sword, obliviating his own sword into multiple dark mini swords. "Now let's have a real life- -I mean fight!"

"What the-?!" It was too late for Ike to make his complete reaction when the mini swords darted towards his way. He used his Ragnell as a shield which ricochet many of the mini dark swords. However, more kept being summoned into twice the tiny size with more power.

"Urgh! You call this a fair fight?!" Ike grunted loudly to stand on his own two feet from the driven force of the swords. 'He's stronger than before! If only Marth and the others didn't abandon me- -wait. . ."

Ike's Betrayal Compilation Flashback

Ike grabbed onto Roy's cape and swung him into the sacrifice door by force. Roy's body crashed through the door and he was never heard from again. Only his scream that was left of his existence.

"Roy!" Marth exclaimed.

"Uh. . ." Miru didn't want to say anything.

"Roy is the sacrifice. . . is there a problem?" Ike gave death glares to his fellow members. Miru and Marth eagerly shook their heads.

"Good, let's keep going. . ."

And then. . .

"Wait, are you making me the sacrifice?! Wait! Don't do this!" Marth had his back against a wall. He had nowhere to run nowhere to hide. Ike cracked his knuckles as he looked down upon his so-called, friend.

"Think about Makato. Every sacrifice is needed. . ." Ike replied.

Miru closed his eyes and the screams from Marth came in like a bomb. The noise quieted down and Miru opened his eyes. "I think I'm next. . ." Miru murmured.

"Let's go, Miru. You're gonna have to help me with the questions. . ." Ike walked ahead of Miru. Miru watched his back and nodded slightly to himself.

In addition to. . .

"This must be the last one. . ." Miru stared at the number 100 that appeared for another multiple choice.

"Thanks for the help," Ike said.

"No prob-" Miru was then knocked out from Ike's butt of the sword to the back of the neck. Miru collapsed and Ike continued to answer the question by himself.

"Sorry, man. You'll just get in my way. . . I gotta make it look like I was the only one who cared for her. . ."

End of Ike's Betrayal Compilation Flashback

Sweat trickled down Ike's sharp jawline just when he gulped down his nervous saliva.

'I abandon them. . .'

"Ahaha! This is child's play!" Mikoru said. He stopped his sword attack to let Ike gather his defense back in place. "LMAO! I'm the final boss remember?!" Mikoru brought his sword all back in one piece."I'll give you a hint, you'll need teamwork to defeat me, (orastrongsuperpowerfulgoddessthatcouldevensuckthelifeoutofmewhichyouobviouslydon'thave), otherwise it's pointless trying to show off."

"I don't do teamwork. All I need is myself!" Ike lunged for Mikoru's heart but failed to pierce through his skin. Mikoru simply kept dodging his attacks left and right.

"Is that the best you can do." Mikoru switch the blade to the butt of the sword. "I'm honestly-", The dark prince smacked his chin with a uppercut of his sword, "-disappointed!"

The mercenary was knocked back with a dark force that twitched his chin a couple of times before his body crashed down onto the hard ground. Mikoru flipped his sword back so the blade was facing outside.

With determination, Ike got up like it was nothing.

"He's right. I hate to admit, but I'm not getting anywhere with my selfishness. I need teamwork." Ike murmured to himself while staring at his sword on his knees. 'Why did I abandon my only friends? No, I can't give up. Not until I save Makato!'

"I don't need teamwork until I'm dead!" Ike pointed his sword at Mikoru. He charged at him once more, but this time Mikoru mimicked charge as well.

"Hah! This is the end of your stupidity!" Mikoru exclaimed while pointing his sword at him. They dashed at each other with their swords high, prepared to slice each other's heads off their necks. Within seconds before colliding their swords, the gap slowly closed in between them and in the small gap, the wall began to crack massively.

Both Ike and Mikoru were distracted from the upcoming outburst of the wall that started to create many cracks. It was in complete slow motion, from the point where Ike and Mikoru were about to collide their swords together, to the point where the wall between them shattered into pieces.

The wall exploded, following by Marth that came through the wall with his Falchion in his hand.

Ike's eyes widened in shock to see his good old friend. "Marth!"

Marth smiled, facing his attack straight to Ike.

'He's alive! Thank God! He came just at a perfect time! Now all he has to do is slice Mikoru's head off- -why is his sword facing my direction?'

And at that moment, Ike knew Marth wasn't just smiling. It was sadistic smile to kill.

"FOUND YOU~"

The slow motion stopped and everything around them exploded with chaos around them. Mikoru recovered from the anonymous interruption, but was somehow replaced by a different sword fighter.

"Wait! Marth!" Ike was lucky enough to block the blade that was about to pierce through his own throat.

"Shit!" Ike didn't have a choice but to counter with a kick to Marth's stomach. Marth noticed immediately and did a flip back away from Ike. The prince angled his sword differently while staring at the mercenary with an unbalanced grin.

'Marth lost his sanity, and it's all my fault. At this rate he'll-' Ike didn't have time to recover when Marth came dashing straight for him. He was known to be a fast fighter when it came to brawls, but this was ridiculous for Ike.

'-BOI, let me finish my thoughts!' Ike blocked another deadly attack from the insane prince.

"YOU'LL DIE TOO. YOU'LL DIE TOO." Those words gave Marth a reason to open his mouth to remind Ike every second like a broken record player. Ike had no words to speak nor thoughts to think about Marth's sanity. The only thing that was left on Ike's mind was to survive.

Mikoru stood there with glued feet not knowing what his next move should be. Marth literally tagged places with him without any permission granted. The dark prince cocked his head to the side and placed his hands on his hips, knowing he could relax just a bit. He faced his attention toward the giant hole Marth had made.

"Even his own friends are against him?" Mikoru thought quietly to himself. "If that's the case. . ."

"Marth! Where are you?" Haruhi crawled out from the view of the giant hole that was connected to the underground area. Mikoru flinched from the familiar laidback tone he once heard as a child. He gazed at Haru's messy hair and outfit, and it only showed how long they have been in the undergrounds.

Haru noticed Mikoru and that wasn't a good note for the dark prince. "You-!" He gasped, "Mikoru! You little punk-ass bitch!" Haru hopped onto his feet and jogged toward him. Mikoru took tiny steps back from the Prince of Fire.

'I thought Yumi, Mike, and Jacob finished them off!' Mikoru sweat dripped down his cheek.

Haru was obviously much older than the boy who trembled before him. He stretched his muscular arms and cracked his neck a couple of times before leaning over to Mikoru with a sly grin. "Hah, you wish you thought we were dead. It was our dear father that kept us alive from those Tachibanas. I can't believe you turned out to be a pathetic piece of shit! I even bother to train you and everything and you end up as shit. I guess a Dark Knight will forever be a Dark Shit."

Mikoru was verbally slapped in the face from his cocky attitude. "Shut up! Don't underestimate me-!"

A yank to the ear immediately shut Mikoru up from the undying pain. Haru kept pulling his pale ear like the elatisy of bubble gum. "Don't tell your elders to shut the fuck up!"

Mikoru couldn't take the pain anymore as he kicked him to shoo him off. Haru backed away a little and crossed his muscular arms.

Mikoru knew he stood no chance against him. A Tachibana like him with the magic of fire on his tiptoes.

"I won't let you have your way with me!" Mikoru summoned a whole army of demons to his surprise and shot them at Haru like fastballs. But Haru laughed as he used his mere pinky to burn the demons into a deadlier fire attack. Mikoru's face dropped, rubbing his grayish bangs nervously.

". . . Well, look at the time-" A smoke bomb appeared at the palm of Mikoru's hands as he shot it at the ground, bringing a heavy burst of fog clogging Haru's view.

"Ah! Mikoru! Everytime you use an escape pod, your karma becomes worse than a bitch!" Haru shouted to give him a little side note on his escape route.

(oOoOoOo)

Miru was still at the same spot where Ike gave him the brutal KO of his life. The large bump on his head cooled off from the intense pain he had to sit through for over ten minutes. Now what was left of his time was to figure out who he was.

"Where am I? Who am I? How are you? Me doing great!" Miru began to suck the tip of his thumb out of boredom. "I think I'm suppose to do something. . ."

Roy and Flora were finally able to find an exit out of the undergrounds. Flora was happy to get her body back, but was still feeling those flustering moments with Roy when he kept her animal body close to his arms. Flora let Roy walked ahead of her so she could watch the back of his red hair.

"Roy," Flora called out to him.

Roy turned to her with a grin. "What is it?"

"You must never speak of this to anyone." Flora shot a glare at him to make herself clear with her dominant request. "Do I make myself clear?"

Roy kept silent and showed a wider grin that showed his teeth. "Who knows~"

"Hey! I'm being serious!" Flora shouted, catching up to his back. Roy walked even quicker.

"Hahaha! I don't keep promises! Oh-!" Roy spotted Miru from afar with a curious look on his face. "Miru! Did Ike abandon you too?!"

"Huh?" Miru watched the two strangers walking up to him. His body language was quite the nervous type. "Do I know people?"

"Don't be stupid, you can't forget me!." Roy laughed as he playfully put his arm around his shoulders. "Nice bump on your head."

"Thanks, I thought it was a penis," Miru truthfully answered. Flora arched an eyebrow toward Makato's childhood friend. She began to think the bump was caused by some kind of accident or some kind of assault.

"How many fingers am I holding?" Flora showed one finger.

"Um. . . one." Miru answered to the middle finger.

"What's your name?" Flora bluntly asked.

"You called me Miru. . . so I guess I am a Miru. But what is a Miru?" The gunslinger boy replied back with a couple blinks. Roy dropped the cheery smile and stared at him seriously.

"Hey, you don't think he has. . .?"

"Amnesia." Flora answered. She didn't seem too worried about the situation. "Miru, are you able to move?"

"I have legs, so. . ." Miru weakly smiled. "Are we going somewhere?"

"Yea. . . Ike is going to die today." Flora grabbed him by his collar and dragged him down the hallway. Miru didn't talked back and just went with the stranger's words. The name "Ike" triggered Miru's mind and he suddenly felt quite furious.

(oOoOoOo)

Mikoru's escape plan was a success. His mini portal took him straight to the dark forest, just what he expected.

"The forest. . . perfect." Mikoru sighed in relief. He brushed off the sweat from his head and looked around the forest. There were wasn't a demon or witch in sight that was moving. All of their bodies either had their heads torn off from their necks, or a bullet through between their noses. He gulped quickly before getting a hold of himself.

What was more wicked than a demon to kill demons? It couldn't be the Smashers. . . right?

"Whatever. . ." Mikoru took in a deep breath. "I just need to find Makato."

"Oh. We found you." A voice perked behind Mikoru. A bright holy light was reflecting off his back, and he knew he wasn't in a good position to even escape. Mikoru slowly turned to the light to see a hedgehog, a puffball, and a goddess. The Golden Flower Goddess.

"Oh! We found him!" Kirby clapped slowly with an evil grin.

"I already said that, Kirby." Sonic looked down at him.

Kirby looked up at him. "Really? I could have sworn I heard gibberish."

Mikoru forced his eyes not to be drawn by the holy beauty of the Golden Flower Goddess. He knew that potion-spell very well to even tremble from its presence."You fools were looking for me? Am I that attracted?" He let out a confident smirk.

Kirby laughed like he was the new bad guy in town and shook his head. "Mikoru, there's no need to wonder where your god is. Because he's right here! And he's fresh out of mercy! Hit it GFG!" Kirby exclaimed.

"Kirby, you're not a god complex character." Sonic said.

"Oh, I will be soon." Kirby made an evil smirked. "But, that will be for later."

"THE ENEMY!" The Golden Flower Goddess did not hesitate to lock him up immediately into a bound of sharp vines that even penetrate through his body. For the first time in forever, the dark prince screamed out of pain from the thrones that prickled out blood of his flesh.

Sonic flinched from the amount of blood that sprayed everywhere that was scene in the radiant light of the GFG.

"Isn't that going. . . I don't know. . . a bit to far?" Sonic peeked an eye open while swiping a blood stain on his arm.

The Golden Flower Goddess shook her head while glaring at Mikoru at his weak state. "THIS IS ONLY TENTH OF MY POWER." She responded darkly. "HE SHALL FACE JUDGEMENT."

"I love watching people in pain and agony!" Kirby cheered, "SUGOI NE~!"

"Well, at least we got him. . ." Sonic said. The golden, sharp vines were getting tighter around his waist and abdomen, making it more uncomfortable for his heavy breathing. Mikoru slowly lifted his head to the GFG that gazed up at him with an everlasting light.

His magic was draining quickly from his body, as the vines absorbed his dark magic. A small smile caused more blood to penetrate between his tired eyes once he was completely empty of evil.

"This curse. . . that ruined me. . . from many generations. . ." He lowered back his head again.

"Hey! Wake up!" Kirby smacked his head before he could ven faint from blood loss.

Mikoru shot his head up at the puffball. "Why you-!"

"Kirby, don't be a bitch." Sonic drew Kirby away from Mikoru.

"NOW HE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY DRAINED OF DARKNESS, I SHALL PURIFY HIS DAMNED SOUL." The GFG lifted his body up into the midnight sky. Sonic and Kirby looked at Mikoru's body which seemed to look like a crucifixion. A bright light coated Mikoru's body with white lilies and golden roses. Mikoru groaned from the pain of the vines, but his heart was receiving every bit of comfort.

"Such. . . power. . . Why didn't I listen speak up, Makato?" Mikoru let out a small laugh that became even weaker.

(oOoOoOo)

The light of flowers expanded throughout the forest and sooner or later, the light expanded all across Niho, washing away every demon, every witch that was summoned from Mikoru's hands. The Smashers were also coated in the light in which their enemies were defeated easily from.

The light faded away within seconds and Pit was the first to open his eyes from the bright light. "What the heck happened?"

"Hey, the monsters are gone!" Ness cheered, as he clearly remembered beating up a demon's shin with his baseball bat.

Lucas looked at his surroundings and smiled brightly. "Oh, I think you're right."

"Is it finally over?" Link asked the unknown light that disspeared.

"It could only mean one thing. . ." Robin closed his book tightly. "Mikoru is defeated!"

"WOOOOOOOOO!" The many Smashers screamed their tired asses from their lungs into the dark starry sky. .

"Good job, everyone!" Corrin looked at the Smashers and smiled. He threw his weapon up in the air because he was tired of holding the Yato for such a long time. He then regretted that moment when Pikachu was at a point of extinction. The blade barely landed right on top of Pikachu's head.

"Whoops. . . I got a little excited." Corrin smiled highly of embarrassment while quickly picking up his sword. After a second pause, they continued cheering and even the villagers that were in hiding, raced out of their small shelters and rejoiced alongside with them.

"They're gone! It's finally over!" Zelda collapsed herself onto the ground and breathed in the leftover scent of the light.

Meta Knight nodded silently to himself. "This is a celebration worth celebrating."

"Indeed." Lucario couldn't agree more.

"Heh, whatever. I got bored fighting the stupid dragon anyway." Ganondorf and the other bad guys scoffed while crossing their arms.

"The dragon was just a mere coward." Bowser laughed.

"What a work out!" Pit smiled.

"The monsters are gone." Peach placed her finger on her lips. "But Makato is nowhere to be found."

The cheering stopped immediately. The whole village stood silent and thought about the Princess of Niho being wiped away from a random demon. The panic began as soon as Peach said those words.

"OH NO! THE PRINCESS MAKATO!"

"WHERE COULD SHE BE?!"

"I HOPE SHE'S ALRIGHT!"

"Calm down, everyone!" Pit tried to calm the villagers down, and it only worked so little.

"Ah. . . shit." Zelda lifted her body off the ground like lightning. "I almost forgot."

"Where should we look? She could be anywhere." Samus sighed.

"Is there a party going on here? I love midnight parties." A woman's voice echoed throughout the night and into the Smasher's ears. They stopped with the planning and turned to the tall woman.

"There's still one more?" Zelda could only assumed she wasn't human.

"She's so tall." Ness gulped.

"Are those guns on her heels?" Link eyeballed the large blue guns that were perpendicular with her heels.

"I've heard of these creatures before." Robin rubbed his chin gently. "They are called, Umbrella Witches."

"Umbrella Witches?" Lucina cocked her head a little.

"Excuse me! Umbra Witches!" Robin laughed. "One of their specialty moves is to control time. I would say if we all fight her at the same time, we're still fucked."

"Isn't that great." Samus sighed.

"I'm so done with fighting. . ." Luigi whined. "I just want to go home."

"Boi, we don't have a home. It's destroyed!" Link exclaimed.

The moment they realized they had no food, no water, no shelter to come back to, their panics increased by 150%. The Umbra Witch stood still with a slight smirk upon her lips. She didn't move any closer, nor did she lifted her guns up. The Smashers were anticipating her next move.

She slowly started to move her head behind, and it looked like she was talking to someone. She then turned her attention to the Smashers and took a couple of steps to the right, revealing the lost princess.

"Everyone! You're all okay!" Makato appeared behind her, as she frantically waved her arms.

"Makato!" Zelda exclaimed.

"Get away from that witch! She has guns!" Pit shouted.

"Oh, I know she has guns, but that's besides the point." Makato laughed. "She helped me along the way from the monsters! I owe her my life!"

"So," Zelda eyed the Umbra Witch. "She's not our enemy?"

"Oh! That's good!" Peach smiled.

"The name's Bayonetta." The Umbra Witch spoke up with her thick British accent. "I don't plan to feed you all to the Underworld."

The Smashers stood silent with sweats dripping down their faces. Bayonetta only laughed at their frightened appearances.

"Anyways," Bayonetta turned her head down to the potion princess. "Where's my angel, little girl? You promised."

"Of course." Makato looked amongst the crowd to find a genuine angel that loved to eat, sleep, and party. "Pit!" She spotted him right next to Yoshi and Corrin.

"Makato! Hi!" Pit flew right next to her. Makato smiled at him before placing her hands on his shoulders and shoving him toward the Umbra Witch. "Here you go! Just like I promised!"

Pit's face dropped from zero to hundred real quick. "Um, Makato?"

"Perfect! I was expecting something hideous but- -this will do." Bayonetta smiled down at the frightened angel. "My plump little angel."

Pit grinned his scared grin and pointed at the witch. "You think I'm scared of an ugly witch like you?! Don't fuck with me! I have the power of Palutena and anime on my side!"

"UGLY?" Within seconds, a large blue gun was pressing roughly against his sweaty cheek. "Did you just called me ugly?"

"Pit, I wouldn't make her mad if I were you." Makato gave him some advice to her ear.

Pit carefully turned her head to the potion princess and cried inside mentally. "Even when you sold me out?!"

"Since you're so adorable, I'll play with you a little~" Bayonetta said. Her eyes over her lenses were smirking in delight, so it looked like she wasn't planning on killing the shook angel anytime soon.

As time passed for a short celebration in Niho, death was slowly making a doctor appointment with Ike in the labyrinth castle.
