Chapter 77: Drifting Closer

Late Midnight

Makato searched around the drunk party people, searching left and right for a man with light blue hair. "Miru! Where are you?" The searching went on for about ten minutes into an empty search. She gave up immediately when she saw Ike at her path, staring at her.

As if the world stopped moving around them.

"Ike," Makato ran up to Ike without having anything to say, neither did the mercenary.

"Let's walk." Ike offered her hand. Makato nodded and took his large hand. He took her away from the noises and the celebrations. The festive music started to cool down a little bit in a moderate pace the more they kept their distance from the parties. Makato pointed at the sky and showed him the stars that were grabbing her attention.

"Look at the stars! I think that one is a Kirby Dipper!" Makato gleamed.

"Stars are just stars." Ike said with no interest.

"You're no fun. . ." Makato laughed anyway. "Without the stars, the night won't be as beautiful." She swung their occupied hand.

Ike shrugged. "Regardless, stars are just stars. We won't die without them."

"So, you're saying starving kids are just starving kids, heart attacks are just heart attacks. Is that what you're implying?"

"That's going way to far." Ike sweat dropped.

Makato kept her eyes to the sky, "Hey Ike remember the time when we were walking together on a night like this?"

"The Mario and Sonic War. If I recall. . ." Ike said.

"Yea!" Makato smiled even brighter. "And remember the time when I was a boy and I kept on approaching you, but you would always keep ignoring me like I was just a fly? And remember during that night, you told me that you hated me and didn't fuck with potion princesses like me?"

Ike choked on The cold breeze. "U-uh. . . but you know why I did those things, don't you?"

"I sometimes wonder why do I still like you all this time? Regardless, I enjoyed that time we spent together. And I'm even enjoying it even more." Makato huddled herself closer to the mercenary with her fingers still locked onto his own. She gently lowered her voice and asked, "Ike, how do you like Niho so far?"

Ike responded with a tighter grip on her hand. "Niho is rather. . . an interesting place. I'm starting to like it here. Their food quantity is amazing."

The princess let out a tiny giggle. "Is that all?" Makato slowed down her steps, forcing Ike to slow down his pace as well.

"What else is there-? I mean. . ." Ike trailed, regretting his words.

He glanced at her and she only stood quiet, just enough to tease him. Ike then averted his attention to the dirt ground.

'I just had to be dumb at the right moment. I think I'm turning into a Kirby.'

They kept walking deep into the forest silently; the midnight animals watched carefully minimized their noises to eavesdrop into their conversations. Hands that were tied together slowly started to feel loose like weak shoelaces.

A small, yet bright lake happened to be their destination when they stopped moving their feet. Maybe it was the moon that kept shining its light on the water like a mirror. Or maybe it brought back sorrowful memories of a familiar lake.

"Ike," Makato spoke his name once more, but this time her throat seem dry and weak, as if she was about say something painful. She broke their locked hands and made sure she was facing him head to head. Ike looked down at her with his heart pumping, thinking all the negative possibilities.

Makato looked up at his eyes and frowned. "I want you to be the first to listen to what I'm about to say. But I don't know how I should say it. . ."

"Go on," Ike encouraged her, saying he was willing to hear what she had to say.

"Ok."

Makato then took a deep breath. "I won't. . ." She tightened her fist into a ball. "I won't be coming back to the Smash Mansion anytime soon. . ."

Surprisingly, he didn't utter a word, so she kept going.

"I'm sorry, but I've been meaning to tell you that- -to everyone sooner or later. . ." Makato faced his shoes that were firmly in place. "My reason-"

"I understand." Ike interrupted.

He did?

"At least let me explain-"

"You don't need to."

"But, Ike-"

"You don't need to explain!" He shouted, making the owls drop dead silent, even the annoying cicadas silenced their mouths for a change. Makato's heart started racing rapidly. She had a feeling that he might be angry from the late news he was now receiving.

The mercenary eyed her, as if he had a grudge against her. "I'm not as dumb as you think, Makato."

". . ."

Ike sighed, calming his temper back down. "You want to spend time with your siblings, right?"

Eyes widened, she nodded.

"Then," Ike brought a smirk on his face, "you have nothing to apologize for. You've been so drifted apart from your siblings; I understand that you only want to bond with them. Take that chance."

Makato was already into tears, and Ike felt a little responsible for that. Maybe it was of his aggressive voice that made her tremble in silence.

"Shit. . . I made you cry, didn't I?" Ike wrapped his arms around her body and pulled her in closer. "Sorry."

She sniffled here nose, pulled him into a tighter embrace. "You're absolutely right about everything. I want to be closer to my siblings." Ike could barely understand what she was saying with her face planted against his chest, but only assumed his words rejuvenated inside of her.

Makato then removed her head from his chest and gazed at him. "I want to know them even more. But, I don't want to leave you, just when I was reunited with you."

Ike laughed and smirked at her again. "Are you trying to make me cry?"

She wiped her tears. "Wait, you cry?" Makato grinned, almost wanting to burst in laughter.

Ike's face reddened in the dark. "O-of course not! Only pussies cry."

She stared him down curiously. "I'm crying right now, so. . .?"

"Only in bed-"

Slap.

"I'm kidding." Ike could feel the burning sensation repeating onto his cheek over and over again.

"Jeez, Ike! Don't make me throw you into the lake!" Makato slapped his chest, feeling highly flustered. She kept her repetition of slaps till Ike grabbed both of her hands.

He leaned closer, till he could feel the heat of her face. "You think you can throw me? I'd like to see you try."

Hints of red were even seen from the light of the moon on her face. It only made Ike eager to explore more of her in the night.

Makato slightly leaned back a little, but Ike pull her in more while keeping her wrist in bind.

"If I recall, there was a time, not even once when you started a kiss." Ike furrowed his eyebrows at her. Just when he said that, her hands that he kept holding were almost burning up.

"Do cheeks count?"

"No."

"Well. . . B-because. . ." Makato was highly tempted to look away from his gaze. "I get all embarrassed and stuff."

"Even if it's just the two of us?"

"Sometimes. . ." She only nodded in response. Ike then released one of her hands and sneaked his hand to her back.

He leaned closer to the point their noses were touching gently. "Cute. I don't mind starting though. . ."

"Ike. . ." Makato murmured his name.

"You know what," Ike stopped leaning and went back to a straight back, but kept her in his bind. "I won't."

"What?" She eyed him with glossy eyes.

"Whaaat? You sound a bit disappointed, dear." Ike snickered.

"But-"

"No buts."

"If I pay you, will you-"

"Hey, just because I'm a mercenary-" Ike denied.

Makato stood silent and stared at the ground, her heart pumping nervously. She faced the ground and tightened her eyes."I. . . I can't. Everytime I see your face. . . I get lost. My mind goes blank."

"Don't we all do?" Ike wasn't buying it.

"I mean it." Makato glanced away.

He laughed. "It's not that hard. I'll kiss you back once you do."

"Ah, don't make it harder now to do so!"

The mercenary sighed. "Man, you can't even- -how did Mikoru put up with you?"

Makato frowned and glanced up at him. "I. . . I don't know. I'm ashamed of myself."

"Ok, how about this," Ike was now leaning toward the flustered princess. "When you return from Niho, you must greet me with a kiss, or I won't talk to you."

"I rather hang myself." Makato muttered quietly to herself.

"I heard that." Ike flicked her forehead for the first time, and it was Makato's first time receiving an unexpected blow on her head which made her drop silent. "Just promise me."

She thought about it, the time she would spend in Niho and coming back to the Smash Mansion would be long for her. So she agreed. "I promise."

The mercenary brought a slight smirk upon his face. "Good. Now, come here. . ." Ike then released her hands and gently cupped her cheeks. She smiled before their lips met. It was gentle, for it felt so long since their last time they kissed. Their feet were unsteady, and they couldn't keep their bodies still from this burning passion. She found her back against a tree, a new wall to keep Ike from moving elsewhere.

Festy music started playing loudly in the background even from their distance away from the party. The music was used as their volume to keep their kisses muted in the night. Each second was a conversation between their bodies. And every pause was cutted shorter and shorter. Ike and Makato would interrupt themselves with glances at each other because it was so dark, thinking one of them might gone off somewhere.

"Makato. . ." Ike parted again to gaze at her face. The moon was his only light source, and it worked out perfectly in the end

.Makato opened her eyes, as if she woke up from a good dream."Yes?"

"You're not the type to order expensive cinnamon rolls are you?" Ike wanted to make sure. Mikoru might had traumatized him with the whole five mil to five dollars thing not too long ago.

"Where did that come from?" Makato giggled, "That was me in the past. I assure you not anymore. I started to realize the value of money."

"Growing up in a rich kingdom, you'll think money grows on trees."

"Actually, my mother forbid me to multiply my money with potions. . . hahaha. . ." She admitted.

"What? So you've been doing that kind of stuff?"

"It's bad, I know."

A giant relief of his money not being poured down the drain was lifted from his heavy shoulders. "That's good to know. I'll keep that in mind." Ike continued where he started and even went a little further to her neck.

"Ike. . ." Makato murmured, only feeling his spiky hair pressing against her chin as she tilted her head up. "Don't. . . . it's embarrassing." She pleaded.

The mercenary stopped and hovered his lips from her pale skin. "It doesn't matter. Everyone gets a little wasted the next day. Just say it was a weird potion."

"Neck painting, perhaps?" She corrected him.

"Or that. . ."

(oOoOoOo)

"Anyways, it's my choice, but Miru is free to stay with you guys." Makato started, as they were both heading back to the party. "I need to tell him soon. . . but I can't find him anywhere."

Ike stopped his tracks and screamed inside his mind when he almost forgot about Miru's amnesia.

'FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! I totally forgot about him! If she finds out about his memory loss, my relationship with Makato is as good as dead!'

"R-Really?!" Ike's voice cracked, along with a super high squeak. "So can I! Maybe there's just a lot of people. He maybe was blended with the crowd! It's the crowd's fault!"

"Um, okay. . ." She yawned loudly. "My goodness, I'm ready to sleep. I believe it's time to head back."

"To where?" Ike arched an eyebrow.

"The castle." She answered.

"Of course," Rosalinda walked up to the two of them. "We have a large room for you and your friends to take shelter in. Breakfast will be provided first thing in the morning and a fresh change of clothes."

"Wow." Ike said.

"Take the drunk people back to their homes! And we'll need carriages for the Smashers! Lots of them!" Utora ordered the night owls of the Faithful Knights.

"Yes, my King!"

"And stop fighting you two!" Utora was referring to Haru and Flora, who were still destroying half of the tables and plates.

The sleepy and drunk Smashers were all sent in carriages for a trip to the castle from the main town of Niho. Within an hour, they were at the castle that was still tainted to be a labyrinth. However, the traps and tricks weren't working, so passing through the maze went out to be a piece of cake.

The Faithful Knights carried the sleepy Smashers just for the day because they were heroes in this battle of the war. All was to be respected regardless of their heavy bodies and loud snores. Each of them were put into separate beds in two large guest rooms for both genders. Girls with girls and boys with boys. The royals had their own chambers, yet Haru was too tired to even go to his own room and just slept with the boy Smashers.

"My Queen, everyone is nice and fitted into their rooms, even the large animals." Kufu said, referring to Bowser and King Dedede, and Charizard.

"They were dead drunk. . . God, one of them reeked of garlic." Yoriki commented.

"Ok, good work everyone." Rosalinda nodded at the Faithful Knights.

Utora then gave the commands. "Lights out! Leave some of the candles lit if they want to take a midnight piss."

After that, everyone was dismissed, whether it be the castle, or to ther original homes.

5:30 A.M.

Boy's Room

Roy was the first to wake up. The moment he woke up, a headache smacked him upside the head and back down. Just how much did the boy drink?

"God. . . My head feels like it was hit by a train going 60 miles per hour." Roy murmured.

"You'd be dead. . ." Marth couldn't help but to speak his mind. Afterall, his bed what right next to Roy's out of all places.

The room was pitch black, so it was hard for the redhead to see. "Marth. . . " He rubbed his eyes and slowly tried to leave the soft covers, but his stomach told him to stop. "I think I'm gonna-"

Marth shot up from his bed to see Roy with his hand firmly pressed over his mouth. "Idiot, not here. . ."

"Shut up! Some people are trying to sleep here!" Ganondorf groaned loudly.

"You sound clearly awake." Marth yawned loudly. "Have you been searching for valuables? While everyone was asleep?"

"Why would I do something like that?" Ganondorf shook his head.

"Why wouldn't you do something like that?" Marth countered back.

"Why the hell not?" Kirby turned on the lights of the room and Marth and Ganondorf had their eyes on the little guy. He was dressed in rings, necklaces, jewels, pearls, gold, silver, and many other rich accessories.

Ganondorf smirked. "Heh, there's your little thief."

"Kirby. . .?!" Marth sweat dropped.

"Hey! One of you dump shitters need to help me untangle these chains and rings-!" Kirby was then interrupted from a knee blow in the face in which the heavy impact made him crashed into a wall.

At that moment, Marth knew why Ike enjoyed bullying Kirby. Squishing Kirby's soft body with his bare feet was surprisingly an instant pleasure. "Stealing early in the morning, eh? Return them at once!" Marth ordered.

"And why should I?" Kirby mumbled harshly from the tight impact. "The Queen herself gave them to me as a gift!"

Marth responded with another knee blow up Kirby's face that made the little pink ball even more deep in the wall. "Now isn't the time to be lying! Return them!"

"Never!" Kirby cried. "Ness, Lucas, and Toon Link also got some shit too!"

Marth removed his knee from Kirby's face and faced the three kids that seemed to be sleeping. "Freaking thieves! After what the Queen has blessed us with food and music, you start stealing first thing in the morning?!"

"oooh! he stealin!"

Marth looked amongst the sleeping Smashers to whoever made that weird shady accent.

"There's a black man here?" Marth sweat dropped.

"Kirby is right, Marth, calm down. The Queen gave them to Kirby as a present. I don't know about the rest of sticky children. . . or a black man." The mercenary spoke by the door with his arms crossed.

"See!" Kirby spatted.

Marth turned to Ike and was shocked to see him so burnt. "Ike! Why do you look so smoky?"

"It's a long story. . ." Ike coughed out, as he walked over to his bed.

Sooner or later, more Smashers started to wake up. Corrin yawned his dragon yawn which sounded like a scary monstrous echoed for a regular human to hear.

"What the hell, Corrin? Why do you yawn like you want to kill somebody?" Link groaned, not wanting to wake up.

"I was. . . born like that. . ." Corrin rubbed his eyes.

"SOMEBODY-!"

Marth filled an empty pillow case with hard rock dictionaries and threw it at Roy's temple in a way he would have an everlasting sleep.

Ike laid down on his bed. "You know, Haruhi?"

"Like who doesn't know Ouran Highschool Host Club?" Kirby rolled his eyes.

"Not that, you weeb. Makato's older brother." Ike said, peeling some of the burnt ashes from his hair. "It happened around. . . 5:10 AM. Yea, I had to take a piss that time so I went to the bathroom. When I did, I remembered out of all times I had a special necklace in my shirt. It was a gift for Makato for her birthday and my dumbass forgot. I wanted to give it to her but I didn't know where her room was. Luckily, I spotted Haru walking like a zombie in the middle of the hallway. I just followed him silently, and it turned out he was going to her room as well.

"He had this weird expression on his face. I think he was into those brother x sister types of anime, I don't know. I heard him say, 'can't wait to play with you' or some shit like that."

"Woow!" Marth made an 'o' with his mouth while clapping very loudly. "So two perverts in the middle of the early morning went to Makato's room to peek into her panty collection. But that doesn't explain how you got all burnt like toast."

Ike popped a vein and kept calm to keep his hands from strangling the prince's neck. "I'm getting there you prick. So I saw him at her door, and. . . I did my best to stop him."

Marth wasn't buying Ike's excuse. "So you went into her room?"

Ike paused and stared at Marth before facing his socks. "I did my best-"

"So you did went into her room with Haru!"

"The door was surprisingly unlocked! However, Makato didn't appear right in front of us."

"Oh. . ." Marth knew who he was talking about. "But why was Flora in her room?"

"I don't know. Maybe she's the protective type." Ike shrugged. "And when she burnt us to a crisp . . . this happened." Ike lifted his body from the bed to show the ashes of the Forever Necklace.

"Burnt to a crisp. Talk about a waste of money. . ." Sonic murmured in the end.

"It turned to sand." Link said.

"I think the author just wanted to get rid of the necklace because the readers probably forgot about that dumb shit anyway." Ike said.

The tactiction that bought the necklace cleared his throat loudly. "I certainly have not-"

"No one asked you, Robin." Ike got up from his bed and dumped the ashes on Kirby's head.

"Do I look like a garbage can to you?!" Kirby barked.

"*BARF*!" Roy puked all over the white bed sheets and some of his vomit somehow went on Kirby's face.

"Do I look like your father to you?!" Kirby raged again.

"Somebody drank too much last night. . ." Lucario commented.

"Jesus Christ! Roy!" Marth exclaimed with disgust. "Why did you puke on the sheets?!"

"I couldn't hold it in any longer!" Roy cried, wiping the excess green vomit on his mouth.

Ike pinched his nose. "Now it smells like Kirby taking a dump five hundred times."

"Hey! I keep my dumps three hundred minimum!" Kirby was clearly done with Ike.

"Nobody wants to hear that for nasty bathroom breaks." Ike said in disgust.

"If you're talking about those slimy diarrhea dumps, then for me, a thousand." Snake commented.

"Snake! Do you must?! And Kirby, how do you even poop?!" Marth exclaimed.

"Clean up the mess you made." Link said to Roy, while getting up from his own bed.

"But I don't feel good- *BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARF!*"

"ROY!" The Smashers were getting mad at him, rather than being worried for him.

"hell nuh uh! what da?! this n*gga better stop doing dat sheet before ah beat his ass!"

"Ok! Where's that black man?!" Marth was getting a little paranoid when he only see male Smashers and Kirby.

"Are you assuming his race? That could be a Latino for all we know. . ." Ness said, gazing at his new gold diamond rolex.

"But, he literally said- -you know what-," Marth lifted his hands up. "I'm done. He's probably hiding a gun in his saggy pants- -I'm brushing my teeth."

Girl's Room

"Makato! Please tell me it isn't true!" Peach glomped Makato while crying rivers of tears. She then took a peek at the potion princess' neck and noticed many red marks.

Makato sweat dropped and patted her head. She also felt her eyes penetrating her neck. "I'm sorry Peach, but I made my choice to stay here, and I was working on potions. . . . and this happened to my neck."

Peach released her and blew her snot out from her nose with her pink handkerchief. "Y-y-you better come back soon! We'll miss you!"

"Peach, quit your crying." Zelda said.

"Sad, sad." Lucina shook her head.

Samus laid in her bed with her hand supporting the weight of her head as she watched Makato. "Hey, Makato. You're taking Ike with you, right?"

"Excuse me?" Makato turned to the bounty hunter.

Zelda shot up from her bed and clasped her hands together in excitement. "Great idea! Take him with you!"

"But I was just thinking only myself-"

"NO! Take Ike!" Zelda repeated impatiently.

"We need him out of the mansion this summer, for as long as possible." Samus agreed with Zelda, getting up from her bed to stretch her arms. "Please get rid of him."

"Why? Not that I. . ." Makato trailed.

"You see," Peach cleared her throat. "Summer is practically here! And that meanie Ike always take the first place bonus prizes! Which is 40% more money! Then he would just spend it on nothing but protein bars, wipes, and lotions!"

"Lotions? Is his skin that ashy?" Lucina thought out loud.

"Honestly, he needs to learn how to be a gentleman!" Zelda sighed. "He can learn your culture! Just make him stay! For for a little bit!"

"Everyone gets lonely after short periods of time." The Umbra Witch spoke up with her arms around the frightened little angel. "At least he'll keep your sexual needs company."

"Ah! Bayonetta you dirty thinker!" Peach lightly slapped Samus.

"Why me?" Samus darted her eyes at the mushroom princess.

"Silly Sammy! I don't want to die!" Peach giggled.

"Well," Makato thought about what the girls said. Even herself thought about asking Ike to stay with her. She thought it may be too much to invite him over. After hearing how they wanted him out, she reconsider her thoughts. "Ok. I'll ask him."

(oOoOoOo)

Makato came over to the boy's room and told them the same news to the girls. They looked like as if they tried to keep their tears in.

"Pooosies." Kirby cracked a smirk.

"How lucky I am to have known someone who was so hard to say goodbye to." Marth smiled, and his smile looked so sad. He stretched his arms out openly, so Makato could embrace him.

Makato accepted his hug. "Thank you, Marth. I'll be back soon."

"It'll be a bit quiet, I'll say. . ." Mario said.

"Hopefully. . ." Luigi sighed.

"It's never quiet when I'm around!" Captain Falcon shouted, as he flex his muscles.

"I don't really know you, but may your days be great. . ." Corrin gently smiled.

"Then don't say anything." Meta Knight said.

"Noo! Makato! Don't leave me with these losers!" Roy limped over to Makato slowly, and she watched with a worried look.

"Are you ok?" She asked.

"He's not. We had to give him 10 buckets so far to keep his puke from spreading all over." Ike followed the sick boy that kept puking 24/7 'just in case'. "Especially when he has a lower tolerance to alcohol."

"Roy what are you doing?" Marth eyed him, remembering the fact he puked all over the bed covers.

"I'm fine Marth. I'm not going to-" Roy quickly covered his mouth. "Puke."

"BOI, I swear," Ike crunched his knuckles as if they were easy walnuts.

"Lemme say some words! Gosh! You're not my gay dads!" Roy pushed Marth and Ike out from his way. After that he faced the princess with a straight back.

"Promise me you won't forget our laughs, our jokes, our smiles, our conversations, our plans, our tears, our experience. Our-" The redhead ejacutated his alcohol, his chicken, rice, meat, noodles, everything yummy from last night's party onto Makato's face. The Smashers were horrified from Roy's sudden puke and only pretended to sleep right after.

"And most importantly, our awesome friendship!" Roy was proud in the end.

But not Makato.

"R-Roy. . . did you just. . .?" Makato didn't even want to speak at this point, for the vomit was dripping all over her face.

Marth stood their horrified."You-! What did I tell you?!"

Ike was already laughing while grabbing a hold on Roy's skull. "Oh, happy day! I honestly don't know what would I do without you! FRIEND."

The boy only flinched, just thinking about the many possibilities from a noose, to crucifiction. "It was an accident! I swear! R-r-r-right Makato-?!"

"Friendship is like standing on wet cement." Makato spoke in a monotone voice, wiping some of the vomit on her mouth. "The longer you stay, the harder it's to leave, and you can never go without leaving you head behind."

Roy laughed nervously. "H-h-head? Don't you mean footprints-?"

A thunderous knocked woke up many of the sleepy Smashers, and many of their heads had their attention to the door. It opened slowly without a word, in which appeared to be Makato's older sister.

Flora was about to make an announcement for breakfast like she did in the girl's room, but she couldn't help but notice the mysterious, yet smelly substance covering Makato's head like a blanket, in which Flora reacted immediately.

"Makato. What happened?!" Her voice sky rocketed into a cute normal older sister voice, as she began to wipe the vomit off of her hair. Makato stood silent and only thanked her sister.

"You need a shower. Go on now." Flora handed Makato over to a maid that was with Flora and made the maid help clean the princess up.

"For a second there. . ." Marth sweat dropped, "I thought she was going to kill-."

Flora then showed her true colors by slamming the door shut and locking it so nobody would escape. An explosion came; it wasn't a bomb that was triggered. It was the Princess of Lightning. A wave of lightning surrounded her like an everlasting barrier.

Marth answered quietly, "Nevermind."

"I don't want to die. . ." Roy whined.

Ike released Roy's head and gently took a couple steps back. "Looks like the hitman came. . ." He murmured with a smirk.

Flora glared at every Smasher and asked, "Who was responsible for puking on my sister? You had guts. Big guts."

Everyone abandoned their mouths in the trash can and could only glue their eyeballs on Roy.

"That's not puke!" Roy spatted a lie that might save him from having a funeral next week.

Marth grinded his teeth together as tightly as possible. 'What are you doing, Roy?'

Flora eyed the redhead. Her eyes softened when she remembered being with Roy back then in the underground cave. However, her words showed no mercy. "Any idiot would know it's puke. Now. . . who did it?"

Roy gulped his current vomit while his legs were wobbling like incomplete jello. Ike kept himself from bursting in laughter. The kids stood quiet, and Kirby just wanted to spit out a joke that could get them all killed.

"I'm giving you all in the count of three to confess: one-"

"He did it!" Roy decided to put his problems on someone else. And that someone else was Corrin.

"W-what? No, it wasn't- -oh God. . ." Corrin's eyes widened. He already had a bad experience with Flora, and now he was getting blamed for vomiting on Makato.

"My, my, such a genius plan." Robin complimented. "How he threw his problems all in the waves, washing up to shore to a dumb fool."

Corrin took high offense to Robin's words, but kept quiet. He didn't want to speak anymore when Flora happened to be at his bed, glaring straight at his soul. Maybe she just had a giant grudge against him, in which she was able to believe Corrin was responsible for puking on her sister.

"We meet again, dragon boy." Flora spoke darkly with sparks electrifying her body. "Or should I say, Former Dark Knight?"

.

Corrin was scared. He wanted to speak the truth, but he was too scared to see what Flora might do to Roy. He was sick and Corrin felt some pity for him.

Marth angrily slapped his head. "Why him out of all people? Why not the black man?! What if he dies?!"

"Why not? It was either Roy's funeral or blaming on someone else. Although I didn't think he would actually have the guts to blame other people. . ." Ike crossed his arms.

Flora grabbed jerked his shirt up to where Flora was head to head with Corrin.

"Shits about to get reeeeeal!" Kirby shouted.

"Ah am betting three pounds of cocaine to da blondie!" The black man shouted.

Flora cracked her knuckles with her left hand. "I'll give you ten seconds to pray."

"I'm sorry, it's not what it looks like. . ." Corrin made quick glances at what Roy said earlier. "It's. . . Hoshidan tradition to pour a blend of chicken, alcohol, meat, rice, noodles, and sweets on the person's head as a sign of blessings."

"Blessings?" Flora lowered her fist to her side "And what kind of blessings are those?"

"Um. . . the kind of blessings that don't get you killed?" Corrin squinted his eyes, feeling unsure of his answer.

"Atta boy. . ." Sonic said.

"Whoa, he made a counter lie." Ike said. "Impressive."

"That's just disgusting. . ." Link covered his mouth.

Flora eyed him without speaking for a while. She began to lift her fist up once more and-

"GUYS!" Haruhi burst the door opened with a giant smile. "It's time to eat! What are you guys doing?! The ladies are getting most of the french toast!"

"Aww hell naw!" Kirby and the black man ran out the room for breakfast, following by other Smashers. Flora clicked her tongue when her brother arrived at bad time.

"Consider yourself lucky," Flora released him and left the room with her brother. Roy sighed in relief when Makato's sister left.

"I'm saved!" Roy shouted in joy.

"More like he's saved." Ike laughed, referring to the frightened dragon boy.

"You owe him your life now." Marth elbowed Roy.

"How about a SSBB Scholarship to being a Smasher?" Roy walked out of the room with Marth and Ike.

"I don't know if Master Hand would allow that. . ."

Corrin followed them quietly by himself and only stared at Roy laughing and chatting with his friends. His barfing seemed to come into a complete stop.
