Chapter 102: Life will Change

"You're welcome to stay as long as you want, Marmalade."

"Thank you so much. But is this outfit necessary?" Marmalade held her white long silk dress of a Queen Egyptian.

Daisy laid on her homemade hammock rocking side to side the indoors of her home. "Of course it is! This is the Sahara Desert!"

Marmalade stared at her new home. She was in the middle of a desert with an oasis not too far. There were caramel-colored, giants, shirtless with only white shorts and straw sandals, marching around the mansion, guarding every corner. 'Wow! I didn't know she was this wealthy!'

Daisy looked over at Marmalade. "What's wrong? You don't seem like your cheerful self."

Marmalade adjusted her golden cobra headpiece and sighed. "You know, I really was excited when I became a Smasher. I trained so hard too."

"Aww, it's okay. I know!" Daisy hopped out of her hammock and grabbed her iPhone 11. "I'll call Peach! Maybe we can have a girl's night!"

Daisy clicked on her cousin's icon and waited for the call. After a few seconds, the call was answered with some sweet humming on the other line.

"Hello~! Peach speaking!"

"Hey, Peach! It's been a while huh? I'm with Marmalade and we're thinking about having a girl's night out."

"Ooh! Sounds lovely, Daisy! Will it be at your place?"

"Of course not! What better place than your castle! We can add a pinball machine while you're at it. Or cinema! It's about time you upgrade that place!"

"Oh- -oh, I'm sorry Daisy! My castle. . . is under construction. Didn't I tell you?"

Daisy stopped her tracks and arched an eyebrow. "Under Construction? No, you never told me anything about that."

"Teehee! You'll love the new upgrade I'm working on!"

"Can't wait to see it! Then we might as well have our girl's night at my place?"

"The desert? Um. . . that place is too hot."

Marmalade watched Daisy talking on the phone with Peach, observing her face getting red as a cherry.

"Ok!" Daisy shouted over the line. "The new arcade! That sounds like a great choice don't you think? NO?! America?! Japan?! Make up your damn mind!"

"Oops! I just checked my schedule and it turns out I'm super busy today!"

"So NOW You're busy all of a sudden?! Why didn't you say that in the first place?! Fucking wasted my time! Useless!" Daisy finally hung up and slammed it straight to the ground, bursting it in many pieces.

"Eek!" Marmalade covered her face to protect her eyes from the pieces of glass.

"I can't believe she bailed on the idea of a girl's night. . . . Now that I think about it, why is Peach living in her home if it's under construction? Ah, fuck it. I don't care anymore."

The tension lowered a bit, and Marmalade wanted to calm her down with the new premiere movie that came out. "Let's watch the Sonic movie. Ok?"

"Yeah sounds like a plan"

July 27th

10:00 A.M.

"Ok, Roy. You've been working for an hour. I think it's time for you to take your lunch break." Manager Ross said of Smash Donalds.

Roy almost dropped the box of frozen fries and recovered, with a tight grip. "W-what?! I barely even started working! Can I have it at 1 PM?"

"I said, you're taking your lunch. NOW. Namiko will take over, so go eat something. It's gonna get busy due to those high schoolers from Japan."

Namiko walked up to Roy and took the box from his fingers giving him a sympathetic look. "Sorry. There's nothing I could do. . ."

Roy gave a sad smile to his coworker. "Is he treating me like this because he thinks I'm a communist?"

"Probably," Namiko said, lowering her voice. "I think you should look for a new job before they ruin you."

With that said, Namiko walked away and headed for the mini-fridge. With Manager Ross watching his every move, Roy clocked out and walked out of the store, sitting on the sidewalk. It was bright and sunny for it being in the morning.

"I hate working 9 to 5! I'm better off going back home with my mom and dad."

As Roy scrolled through his phone, loud sounds of growls and roars came closer toward the redhead. He decided to look up and immediately regretted not looking up sooner.

"What the-?!" Roy jolted up from the sidewalk when a large angry cat on its two hind legs heading for Smash Donalds. Paying customers that were about to enter the restaurant stopped midway due to the sight of a ferocious beast.

"Ah, hold it, Wiggles! No lunch until we find Makato." A yoink to the collar choked the large cat so hard, he slipped and fell on his back while being dragged back to his owners.

Roy recognized the two sibling duo and grinned at their presence.

"Haru! Flora-chan! Ghetto pet you got there!"

Flora came to a pause and glanced at Roy before making eye contact with the ground. "Flora-chan?" The blonde-haired sister quietly questioned to herself under her breath, both cheeks coming to a blush. Haru looked over to Roy and grinned. "Well if it isn't my favorite redhead! What's up?"

The two of them with their new pet met with Roy and sat at a nearby bench that was not too far from Smash Donalds. There were a lot of stares coming from Wiggles, but nobody questioned the owner.

"What are you guys doing here?" Roy asked.

"We're looking for our baby sister, Makato~! She's coming home."

"Um, does she want to?"

". . . Of course, she does!" Sweat trickled down Haru's jawline, along with some nervous laughter.

"What she wants isn't the main issue. It's what we believe is right. And that disease-infected alien, Ike, won't be coming near our sister." Flora said.

Haru brushed gently onto Wiggle's fur as the angry cat let out a slight growl. "It's been a few days since we've arrived in Smashville, and Wiggles is having a hard time sniffing her scent."

"This place is crowded after all," Roy said. "I got her number, so I'll try calling her." Roy showed the siblings his new iPhone 11. Still new to technology, both siblings nodded their heads.

"Oh, those cellular devices. Niho should definitely get an upgrade!"

"Oh, shit. . . I thought I had her number, but I was wrong. Sorry, guys."

Wiggles took in a huge whiff of grilled salmon with lemon pepper fries which made him even more hungry than before. "Hey! I want food! I smell grilled fish!" He demanded.

"Nope! Until we find Makato." Haru grinned. Roy sweatdropped at the red fiery cat. "That thing can talk? Wait, why do I sound so surprised?"

"You fucker! I said I'm starving!" Wiggles gritted his sharp teeth and bud heads with Haru, who also showed no signs of mercy.

"And I said no!"

Flora and Roy could only watch in the sidelines of their bickering.

As they kept fighting, Flora noticed Roy's red and black uniform. "I apologize if we're wasting your time."

"It's cool. Don't sweat about it." Roy shook his hands.

". . . You work here?"

Roy gave a slight nod and gave a little tug to his red polo. "Ah, yea. Gotta make a living somehow."

". . . Are you enjoying your work?"

"Huh?" Roy widened his eyes and shrugged. "I mean. . . pay is ok. . ."

"I wish you the best." Flora then said. "Let's get going, Brother-" The moment she turned to her brother, he was already knocked out cold with a few bumps stacked on his head. The fire chain he used for Wiggles was next to him, but Wiggles wasn't at his side.

"Brother! Where is Wiggles?!" Flora's body discharged electric sparks from her body and Roy watched in fear from her reaction of their missing pet.

"Doooiii~" Haru responded with his tongue sticking out.

"Useless!" Flora grabbed his arm and looked around the area they were in. "I can't believe you let him loose!"

"Wutratrathahtra~"

"Ugh! You're too retarded to even look for Wiggles!" She slammed his hand back on the ground and sprinted away.

"H-hey! What about Haru?!" Roy walked over to Haru and bent on one of his knees, poking his red bumps. "Aww, man, dude! Wake up!"

"Oh! There you are, Roy! Your break has been over since!" Manager Ross called to him from the door of SmashDonalds. "Get your ass back in here!"

Roy looked at Haru and then back at his manager and then back at Haru. "Ugh. . . fuck it!" Roy grabbed his hat and threw it on the ground and picked up Haru from his arm. "I'm quitting!" He shouted at his boss. "Also! All of that lettuce in the bins, I stepped on that shit!"

"WHAT?!"

(oOoOoOo)

'It's dark and I can't feel my legs. . . How long have I been here?'

An ice-cold drop of water pelted on his cold blonde head, drip after drip. It wasn't as cold for him in the environment he was in. His body was stuck to a loose wooden chair, and whoever tied him up was a professional with ropes. From his chest to his wrists against the arms of the chair, to the ankles of his boots, he couldn't move.

His ears were completely muffled by two strong corks shoved in both of his eardrums. The only senses he had available were his nose and lips.

"My, my. . ." The blonde-haired teen in pink shook her head and gently placed her phone on a wooden table. "Daisy can be quite annoying sometimes. Don't you think so, Cloudy?"

". . ." He recognized the same strong scent of sweet cherry blossoms. A hand was placed on his thigh, being rubbed so gently.

"I bet you're hungry! It's about time for you to have some lunch. I'll feed you." She left the basement and later came back with a hot plate of homemade spaghetti. From the handmade noodles to the fresh tomato sauce, to the juicy ground beef seasoned meatballs with some parmesan cheese and fresh parsley as a garnish, and a side of a breadstick.

"I hope you enjoy it because I put my heart and soul into this."

'Spaghetti again, huh?' A single strand of noodle was forced into his mouth once more. He didn't eat it, knowing where this was going.

"Aww~! I love it when you play hard to get." Squeezing his jaw bone, she forced the movement of his chewing the noodle. As he continued to eat the noodle, he was left with a tiny surprise of a mini kiss from that one noodle he ate.

"Aww, Cloudy! You shouldn't have! Eat your food, silly!"

"You have one new message!" Cloud's phone left on a separate table rang a notification for his phone. Peach set the plate of food on his lap and walked over to the phone. She clicked on the voicemail message that was left by his childhood friend.

"Where are you?! It's been a day and you're not back from the grocery store! Please answer my calls! Please be alright!"

"UGH. Again! How many messages must I delete?! Cloud doesn't want to see you anymore! TOADS!"

"Yes, Princess Peach?" A bunch of colored spotted toads appeared before her presence in seconds, bowing.

Peach stopped halfway in handing the toads his phone. "On second thought. . . ."

(oOoOoOo)

After many attempts to call Cloud, she let out a sad sigh and tossed her phone on the table.

"Ok, this is getting weird," Sonic said, eating a chili dog on the dining table.

A dark merciless look appeared on her face after doing some calculations in her brain.

"Sonic." Tifa cracked her knuckles. "Do you know where Peach is?"

"Hmm. . . I believe she's back at her castle."

"Give me her address. I would like to pay my friend a visit."

(oOoOoOo)

"Communist this. . . Communist that. Of course nobody wants to hire me." Ike leaned on his comfy wheely chair, arms behind his back as he stared at the ceiling. The computer screen showed Indeed with many rejections of his application.

"Oh, Ike. You are working so hard to find a job. . ." Makato commented quietly outside of his room, watching him from the crack of the door in a short-sleeved pink, long dress with white ankle socks. "Miru is out with construction work and I believe Robin is at her feminist class, so it's just the two of us. . ." The princess headed downstairs for the kitchen and grabbed a homemade lunch in pink wrapping cloth. "All I do is sell potions online in the black market. I hope Ike likes the bento I made for him."

Once she picked up the pink lunch box, she headed back to Ike's room where he was. She knocked just to make sure Ike knew she was coming in.

"Ike?" Makato walked in without getting a response and almost dropped the bento from her hands. "W-what are you doing?"

Ike looked at Makato, wiping the heavy amount of sweat from his forehead. He stood there, half-naked with only shorts on, as the video of an intense workout played in the background. "Oh, hey. I'm just doing a little workout. I think I'll head to the gym tomorrow. Applying made me tired."

Makato brushed her hands, hoping to cover her bright red face. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt. I thought you might be hungry so I made some lunch." She extended the lunch box toward the mercenary.

"Wow, thanks! I was just thinking about lunch." He paced himself to Makato and carefully grabbed the bento from her hands. "Can I open it? Oh. . . it smells very sweet. . ."

Makato smiled and nodded slightly. "Well. . . it's your favorite."

"My favorite, huh?" Ike took another whiff, now smelling baked sweet bread and cinnamon. "Steak smells like this?"

"Also Ike, you said you were going to the gym tomorrow. Doesn't it cost money?" Makato asked.

"Oh, you don't know how I get in the gym, huh?" Ike chuckled loudly to himself, pausing the video on YouTube. "You see, who said I can't sneak in from the ceiling? As long as they never catch me, I can get myself a free pass."

". . ." Makato let out a small giggle before rubbing her arm. "If you need the money, all you have to do is ask."

"No thanks. It'll be weird asking a girl for money. Anyways. . . I need to do 100 push-ups, ten sets. Wanna help me?"

"Help you? But how?"

"Ah. . . what a day!" Robin smiled brightly walking into the condo with a few grocery bags. "I hope everyone likes curry because tonight is curry night!" As she set the groceries on the counter, Robin flipped her pigtails to her back and looked around the first floor, searching for either the mercenary or the potion princess. "Hello? Anyone home? Now that I think of it, it smells like cinnamon rolls in here. . ." She adjusted the purple tie of her purple suit with a mini skirt and black heels.

As she took off her black heels, a loud thump from the second floor caught Robin's attention immediately, turning her head to the stairs.

"Something is going on. . . without my approval."

Robin marched toward the stairs and slowly heard the sound of laughter and heavy panting. Two voices in contact with one another. Each hair on her body perked up like a warning sign.

Her ears heard Ike's voice of heavy panting and then Makato's worried laughter. Robin's eyes widened in rage, marching her way toward the room. She picked up a bucket filled with water that was placed near Ike's door.

"As the owner of this house, whatever they are doing must come to an end!" Robin in full rage slammed the door wide open.

"NO SEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS OF THE OPPOSITE SEX!" The feminist used the bucket of water as a weapon, splashing both Ike and Makato with cold water at a fast speed.

"Ah!" Makato drenched in water slipped off Ike's back and into the ground.

"My eyes!" Ike lost his balance in his push-ups due to the icy water getting in both of his eyes.

"I thought we came to an agreement about this!" Robin swung the empty bucket over her shoulders.

"She was just helping me with push-ups!" Ike rubbed his eyes, slowly getting on his two feet.

"And how so?!" Robin asked in denial. "Half-naked? Sweaty from head to toe? Don't make me laugh! This kind of behavior would only lead to rape culture!"

"Makato gets on my back as extra weight and I do the push-ups!" Ike countered. "The hell you talking about rape culture? That shit's a myth!"

"NO, IT'S NOOOOT!" Robin stomped her foot. "If what you're saying is true then you're stupid! Didn't you pack some weights in your luggage?!"

"If I put a dumbbell on my back, that shit's gonna roll down and fuck up my neck. Now my room looks like a dog having a pissing party!" Ike said.

Robin paused herself, looking at Makato in deep anger. Makato brushed her wet bangs to the sides of her ears and looked back at Robin with a bit of anger in her eyes. This was the beginning of a bitter rivalry.

America

New York

It was another night of Robin's secret work with Corrin tagging along unwillingly. Corrin would lure them in an alley and Robin would use Nosferatu and drained them. After that was done, Robin and Corrin hopped back into the truck.

"Where are you taking these women?" Corrin asked, sitting in the passenger's seat. It was a dark, starry night with many cars on the road, and many people, walking in the streets.

Robin dressed differently in a heavy black trench coat. "To my secret hospital. I have the best surgeons and nurses in the world and they will help my journey. There are so many benefits when harvesting such healthy organs. . . You too will learn the beauty of this industry."

Corrin looked straight ahead and slumped in his seat in fear. "W-what have I gotten myself into? I thought you were going to take me on an amazing tour in America."

"I was?"

"And. . . because they are women. . . did you want to invite the female Smashers to America? To. . . harvest?"

"My, my. Every day you're learning something new." Robin smirked and made a slight right turn, entering into a highway. "And they're not Smashers anymore, they're just your average regular women in the world."

"Y-you didn't even check your mirrors. . ."

"So? Mirrors only reflect the ugliness in life. And that is why we must move forward."

"But these mirrors are needed!"

"Shut up, I'm trying to drive here."

After a two-hour-long drive, they finally made it to their destination, parking right in front of the hospital entrance. Corrin wobbled his legs out of the truck and barely landed on his feet. He looked at the hospital that was surprisingly small but with working lights in every corner.

"It's not haunted?" Corrin said, sighing in relief that at least the hospital on the outside looked regular.

Robin got out of the driver's side and looked at Corrin. "What? You thought this was an abandoned hospital? I have many patients in that hospital and many employees. Everything must be functional."

Corrin looked at the entrance, seeing five large muscular men wearing blood-red scrubs and black work shoes. Robin pointed to the back of the truck, and the five immediately headed for the back of the truck, opening the merchandise.

"W-what the? Your nurses are. . . big. . ." Corrin sweatdropped.

"Of course. I made sure that each of my doctors and nurses is 400% stronger than the average body-builder." Robin followed the five nurses to the back of the truck and Corrin followed as well.

"Mmmh!"

"Mmmhmhmh!"

"Mmmmhhhh!"

"They're still conscious." Nurse Jack said. Corrin couldn't keep his eyes off his vertical scar that slashed through his right cheek. Not to mention the two sleeve tattoos he had upon his arms. After scanning at the other male nurses, all of them had some kind of scars and tattoos placed in their bodies.

"That's why you guys are here. Make sure they are injected with ramelteon. And I want them in room 240-A."

"Yes, Sir."

The muffled screams from the young ladies only grew louder when the nurses grabbed each of their arms and injected them with the sleeping drug. The noise died down at an instant which and Corrin's heart began to race of this abnormalness.

"Let's head in shall we? I'll show you around." Robin said, walking past him to the entrance.

"O-ok."

Corrin was shown the main lobby with a man in a lab coat taking calls at the front desk. He was shown the main hallways, the kitchen, the lounge area, the restrooms, but not the girls that were taking.

Corrin paused during their tour around the hospital and showed a nervous smile. "I gotta use the restroom."

"Want me to take you there?"

"No thanks. I know where it is."

Corrin sped walked away from Robin and into the nearest restroom, he could possibly find. He looked at the blue male figure that represented the men's restroom.

"Ah, right here." Before he pushed his way inside, he searched for a women's restroom. "Only a men's restroom? Strange. . ."

He headed for the large stalls and sat on the toilet seat. His hands trembled in fear and sweat emerged from his forehead.

'Not a single female employee in this weird hospital! I have a bad feeling the moment I stepped in. . . Perhaps I should run while I have the chance.'

He flushed the toilet even without using it and washed his hands. Corrin then carefully exited the restroom to meet up with Robin.

"There must be a reason why you're showing him around the hospital." Nurse Jack said, meeting up with Robin.

"Hahahahaha, nope. He's a friend. The least he deserves is a trip around my place before my experiment. I want him at room 241-A, knocked out, and tied up."

"Yes, sir!"

'What?! Are they talking about me? No, it can't be. Probably some other guy.' Corrin was a step away from showing his appearance right into Robin and the other strong nurses.

"You mean that albino-haired boy with red eyes?" Nurse Jack asked.

"Yes, find Corrin and capture him. I want Corrin! Corrin! Oops. That was too loud of me, wasn't it? My patients are sleeping at this time."

"Alright, nurses. Let's look for the little bastard."

It was confirmed loud and clear with a handful of nurses on the lookout for the dragon boy. Corrin's heart raced at a faster pace than usual, quickly sneaking in the opposite direction.

'I knew it! I should have left this shady hospital! Robin's gonna drug me and sell off my organs!'

"Ah! Found him!" Nurse Michael said, sprinting right his way.

'No, no, no!' Corrin ran toward him and made the leap of faith over his head while pushing him with the ball of his foot.

"Urgh!" Nurse Micheal lost his balance and fell to the ground. More nurses ran after Corrin from behind like track stars, catching up every few seconds.

'I need to hurry and find the exit!' He made a sharp left turn, finding an emergency exit. And the exit happened to be guarded by the mastermind himself.

"R-Robin!"

"I'm sorry, Corrin." Robin showed Corrin his gas mask he had strapped on his face as the tactician pulled out a spray can. "And thank you."

Corrin backed away slowly but bumped backed to a muscular wall. He turned to the other nurses in red, wearing a gas mask and holding the same spray can as Robin's.

(oOoOoOo)

It was dark when Tifa arrived at Peach's castle. The gate was open as she let herself in. She headed for the bushes, the blind spot of the Toad guards, and crouched her way to the windows of the castle.

"Cloud. . . Peach has taken you. . . I just know it." Tifa huffed angrily. "I. . ." Her phone went off the moment she suspected Peach and opened up her phone. She gasped from the person who contacted her.

Cloud.

"Hello?! Cloud?! Where are you?! Tell me you're okay!"

It was just silence on the other side of the line.

"Hello? Cloud! Can you hear me?"

"Goodbye."

"Cloud?" A voice was near not only on the phone but to the space around her.

The moment Tifa turned her head, she was greeted with an iron skillet to the face.
