Chapter 118: Attack of the One-Winged

August 19th

A few hours past midnight. . .

Without the crown that completed the angry boy, Solo marched down the ruined hallway of the mansion, slicing debris that blocked his path. He ignored the black feathers that began to come more often like a sudden hailstorm.

"Nobody's getting in my way! Sephiroth's my prey! Nobody's getting in my way! Sephiroth's my prey!" Solo chanted. After a few minutes of marching, Solo came across a four-way intersection. He halted his steps, closed his eyes, and took in a deep inhale through his nose.

Exhaling, he glared at the left path. "That way."

A being watched Solo with a weird expression, but couldn't help but trail his paths.

"What a mut." Ganondorf snarled.

Rooftop

To pass the time, Daisy came up with a competitive game for all four of them to enjoy whether they had a choice or not.

"Okay! Time's up!" Miru said, being the judge.

Daisy, Young Marth, Marth, and Roy were side by side with each other, competing for whoever could create the biggest feather ball.

Daisy grinned, rubbing the bottom of her nose. She stood beside the feather ball that was as tall as her. "Heh, it's obvious mine's the biggest!"

"Because Kid Marth helped you! Not fair!" Roy pointed. Roy had his feather ball half of his height.

Young Marth crossed his arms and scowled away. "Who cares. . . I've never wanted to play in the first place."

Marth sighed, holding his small black feather ball. "Then maybe you could have been the judge."

Miru sweatdropped. "And the winner is Daisy."

"Yahoo!" Daisy cheered. "What's my prize?!"

Miru picked up the prize with open palms and walked over to Daisy. "You get this. . . lovely feather crown."

Daisy lowered her head, receiving the crown as Miru placed it over the current crown she wore.

Daisy lifted her head back up and smiled. "Thou must bowest down to thy one and only, bitchlets! Those who don't claim the title of Prince Marth are excluded. Lick thy dirt and worship me!"

"I hate this game." Roy groaned, looking up at the muddy, dark sky for comfort.

That was part of the game. The losers gathered around the winner and dropped to one knee. And there was a phrase they must say to the winner.

"Daisy's the best. Daisy's the coolest. Us low lives plebes will do our best to make sure Daisy's the best."

"Hahaa~ Feels so good to be praised."

Just when the game was finished, the door opened.

The roof door.

All five of them made their attention toward their door, seeing turquoise hair.

"It's open. . .! We can leave this place!" Roy celebrated.

"Finally, I was starting to get cold." Daisy stretched her arms. Young Marth sighed in relief seeing the door open with all the distortions going on.

"Thank you so- . . . -much." Marth paused, recognizing the man that held the Corrins hostage in exchange for Robin, including holding the girls' hostages during the Wedding Fashion show at the Smash Grand Opening. So many red flags swung around Solo that gave Marth a cautious eye.

Miru recognized his face from days before and furrowed his eyebrows. "You must be. . ."

"Solo. Don't thank me." Solo answered, crossing his arms.

"Thanks, Solo. I'm Roy." Roy said.

"I already know your names. No need for introductions, Robe."

"It's Roy, but Robe's cool. . ." Roy sweatdropped.

"Alright, what are our names?" Marth asked, pointing to himself.

Solo kept his angry look and scoffed. Looking at each of their faces, he answered them one by one. "Ro- -Homophobe, Larp, Kid Larp, Miku, and Daisy."

"L-Larp?" Young Marth stuttered.

"At least your name is Live Action Role Play! Where did you get Homophobe from?! You were so close!" Roy cried.

"Clearly, I don't look like Miku," Miru said. "At this point, it's an insult."

"I don't think his memory is good. . ." Marth muttered.

"I only know the names of my enemies," Solo answered, having a good ear.

Marth flinched and half-grin. "Oh. . . I. . . okay then."

"Hah! He got mine right!" Daisy cheered. After her cheering she paused, staring deeply at the turquoise hair. Once she remembered, she gasped and pointed at him. "Ah! You- -you! It's you! You called us whores during the Wedding Fashion Show!"

". . .Don't remember," Solo said.

". . . Well. . ." Marth scratched his hair, still unsure whether to trust him or not.

"Let's leave." Young Marth said, walking toward the opened door. As Solo watched from the side, Roy left the rooftop, followed by Miru, and Marth. The boys turned to Daisy, who was staring at the cross.

"Maybe I should bring this with me. . ." Daisy thought.

"Let's go, Daisy! C'mon!" Roy called out. "Bring Jesus if you want!"

"This place needs Jesus more than me!" Daisy decided to drop the idea of bringing the cross with her and paced herself toward the exit. The moment she passed by Solo, she was jerked into a stop by his grasp upon her wrist, keeping her from exiting out of the rooftop.

"Hey, who said you can touch me? The only people that can touch me are-"

"Yeah, whatever, fucking sicko." Solo didn't let her finish as he pulled out his sword and pressed the blade against her neck.

"Daisy!" The guys froze, not able to make a move with Daisy's life at stake. They pulled out their weapons in case they had to fight this. . . maniac.

"I knew he had some kind of plan. . . But to involve Daisy?" Marth said, holding his Falchion. Marth straightened his back as his eyes widened. Just minutes ago, the prince remembered what Solo said earlier regarding his bad memory: 'I only know the names of my enemies'.

"What are you doing, Solo? I thought we were cool!" Roy said.

"Take another step and I'll slit her throat," Solo warned. "Be captivated in fear as you watch her bleed to death. Kehehehe. . ."

"Don't worry about me, just go!" Daisy said with a confident smile. "I'll be fine-!"

"Heh, we'll see." Solo seemed to be enjoying keeping people as hostages.

"What do you want with Daisy?" Young Marth asked.

Solo lifted his leg while keeping Daisy locked to himself. "What I want. . . is Sephiroth's body under my feet. Daisy's the key. If he won't come, I'll force him out of hiding!"

"He isn't hiding, he's coming! Can't you see the feathers raining out of nowhere?!" The young prince pointed to the night mud sky.

". . .Shut up! I call the shots here!" After that, Solo swung his leg for the rooftop door, shutting it in a flash.

"Daisy!" Marth ran for the door and opened it. Instead of seeing Daisy and Solo, venomous man-eating Piranha plants hissed at his face and chomped with their sharp teeth.

Marth took a quick step back from getting bitten and slammed the door shut.

"The chances of finding Daisy on the roof is roughly two percent. That. . . was the only chance." Young Marth balled his fist in frustration.

"We can't give up. We just need to increase our chances. . ." Marth said, glaring at the door.

Roy and Miru glanced at each other and went back to watching Marth's back.

'Wow, he's so concerned.' Roy and Miru thought.

Young Marth clicked his tongue and marched off away from them. "Let's find Makato. Our chance to find Daisy is to get a potion."

"I was thinking the same." Marth followed.

Kitchen

Makato, Vanguard Ike, Peach, Marmalade, Eleven, and Mega Man gathered near the saucepan that was combined with a mixture of Daisy's blood, dirt, and other natural ingredients.

The liquid bubbled in orange on the stovetop. The color is vibrant and wild like Daisy. Makato then poured the liquid into a small bowl without any cracks. Applauses were given after only five minutes.

"Wow! It looks great! We can find Daisy now!" Peach clapped.

"Yay! I'm so happy!" Marmalade teared up.

"Please don't pity me with your applause." Makato furrowed her eyebrows at the potion in the bowl, shaking her head. "This. . . won't do."

"P-pity?" Eleven sweatdropped.

"What do you mean?" Vanguard Ike said.

"This potion isn't good enough," Makato said, now carrying it. She walked over to the sink and tipped the bowl. "I must make a new one."

"Wait, wait!" Peach stopped her wrist from dumping the potion down the sink. "I think it looks great! R-right, guys?!"

Eleven nodded, crossing his arms. "Yea, uh, it looks good to me. I was hoping you could make a potion for me as well after all of this is over."

"I don't get potions, but if everyone says it looks great, then I'm sure it is." Mega Man said.

"I like it. . ." Marmalade smiled. "It matches my hair."

"Tweet!" Miru-3000 flew on her shoulder.

Taking in their comments, Makato lowered the bowl back on the counter. "You all don't understand. Since I've been here, my ability to create potions has declined. I've been limited in raw ingredients to the point I can't adapt to other environments. My accuracy, my lack of ingredients; the time and process, it just. . . won't do."

There was defeat in her words that nobody was able to understand.

'That look. It was the same look that my Makato expressed. . .' Ike thought, staring at Makato's displeased look. 'Unsatisfied. She's reaching her limit, unaware of what her darkness can give her. But that side is also dangerous.'

"B-but, the little birdy! You created it, didn't you?" Peach tried to assure at least one of her creations was proof of her unlimited power.

"I didn't." Makato showed a sad smile. "It was the other me who made it using ingredients of paper. If only. . . I had more of an understanding. . ."

"Hey," Vanguard Ike interrupted her muttering, placing his hand on her shoulder. "I know what it's like when you hit a wall. Under these circumstances, this isn't your world to be a part of."

". . .mmm. . ." She groaned.

"Trust in yourself. You're not alone saving Daisy. All of us are in this together."

"Well said, Ikey Ikea!" Peach clasped her hand.

Makato kept a distilled look on her face. After a few seconds of silent gazing, she looked up to Ike.

"Perhaps I was overthinking. . ."

"I just don't want history to repeat itself. . ." Ike said to himself before walking towards the fridge.

"See, we found her!"

A pompous voice echoed in the kitchen. The group turned their heads to see Richter walking into the kitchen with a bag of salt. Following Richter was a group of Smashers, entering the kitchen.

"Richter!" Peach's eyes sparkled. "Bayonetta, Cloudy, Tifa! What a surprise."

"Having fun here, I see?" Bayonetta smirked.

"Wow, you called me by my name. . ." Tifa couldn't help but grin.

"Eleven!" Arusu called out running towards his youngest brother, greeting him with a hug.

"Ah, you look like you got shot in the face, ya!" Eight ran up to Eleven as well, joining the hug.

"I didn't. . . It's been a hell of a ride." Eleven sighed.

"Thank God. . ." The young mercenary skipped the greeting, pulling Makato into a bear hug.

Emotions swarm Makato's thoughts of the last time she saw Ike. "Ike, I. . . I missed you so much. . ."

"I was worried, but kept faith that you'd be okay." Ike's arms squeezed what was left of her waist, as he leaned towards her ears. "If only we weren't in the public eye. . ."

"What's wrong?" She asked, lowering her voice.

". . .There are so many things I'd rather do than just hug. . ."

"Makato!" F. Robin smiled, giving a hard elbow to Ike's back.

"Ow. . . Son of a bitch-!" Ike backed away and reached for his back.

"Robin." Makato kept the same smile as she did for Ike.

"Why, hello, Makato. Princess of Potions," M. Robin popped up right next to her with a cheeky grin.

"She wasn't talking to you, degenerate cis-male!" F. Robin pointed.

"Kid version of me." Vanguard Ike eyed himself from years before.

"Bread-n-Milk." Ike glared at him. Both Ikes lifted their fists to come into contacting, bumping knuckles.

"You look good, me. Now I understand what Marth feels when he looks in the mirror." Ike said.

"Believe me, it took a while." Vanguard Ike said. "Who the hell's Bread-n-Milk?"

"Take a guess."

"Why should I? I'm lactose intolerant."

"Wait. . . Seriously? What kind of dumb-"

(oOoOoOo)

"I've made a potion to find Daisy, but with the distortions in this mansion, it may cause some interruption," Makato said.

"I can stop the distortions without a sinch. As long as I'm not interrupted." Richter said. "Min-Min! Bag!"

"Aye, aye, low mein, sir!" Min-Min handed him the bag that was brought upon this trip

"Hehehe. . . The best weapon of all." Richter pulled out his not-chain, but a thick New King James Bible.

"Now you're being holy?" Marmalade tilted her head, confused. "What happened to the obsessive, alcoholic Richter back at Peach and Daisy's place?"

Richter shook his head. "We don't talk about sin, no, no, no, no,"

"I do." M. Robin grinned as he rubbed his hands. "Makato, do you need my assistance?"

"No, but everyone needs to find a door," Makato said. "The potion will directly lead Daisy for thirty seconds. You'll know once the potion is activated."

"We can increase our chances of finding Daisy if we start searching," F. Robin said.

"Yea," Tifa said.

"I make delicious noodles for everyone!" Min-Min said, grabbing a bag of flour and pots.

"Good luck. Everything in the cabinets is past the expiration date." Vanguard Ike said.

"Aiya! Deal no big! During health inspection, we replace old dates for new dates! Restaurant secret! No, no tell, yes?"

Panting and heavy breathing was heard from afar. Everyone turned their heads towards the panting, seeing more Smashers.

"Daisy's in trouble!" Young Marth cried out, after catching a glimpse of the Older Cloud and Ike.

"What do you mean, trouble? Weren't you with her the whole time?" Vanguard Ike asked.

Young Marth puffed his cheeks. "I was, but I had a change of heart and decided to let Daisy go. But that sea monster kid, Solo, has her hostage!"

"He's using her to get Sephiroth," Marth said. "Before we could stop him, he closed the door on us, and the space changed."

Arusu looked down at Solo's crown he held in his hand, gripping it as he channeled his anger toward it. His hair began to glow a naked blonde and his eyes, a pure lightning blue.

"SOLOOOOO!" Arusu ran off first at lightning speed, recognizing the distinct features of a Super Saiyan.

"Arusu!" Eight and Eleven called out, running after him. Not only him, but Cloud too joined the frenzy in the sprint.

"Cloud, guys! Wait!" Tifa reached her hand out for them in the distance as they disappeared. AC Cloud took a few steps toward the direction Arusu, Eight, and Cloud ran off.

"Fighting Sephiroth is life or death. If you don't want to die a quick death, head to the living room. Only that area isn't as distorted as anywhere else." AC Cloud said, looking at Peach.

Peach frowned. "You'll bring her back safely? Right?"

AC Cloud nodded. "That's the plan."

Tifa glanced at Peach with a stern look. "What's your guys' relationship? The Cloud I know wouldn't even care if his pet goldfish died."

Peach giggled. "It's a secret~! Let's go to the living room, Marmalade."

"But, I wanna fight!" Marmalade said. "Daisy needs me!"

M. Robin put his hands behind his back and gave a firm nod. "Yes, Daisy needs you, not your head on a platter. What I'm trying to say is, you'll be the tastiest grilled squid to ever live if you recklessly spill your orange, matte paint on Sephiroth's clothes."

"Sh-shut up! That's not true!"

F. Robin groaned. "Don't listen to that cis-generate bully! But at your level, it's best not to face Sephiroth as Cloud described."

"But. . ." Marmalade lowered her ink gun, tearing up.

"For the love of God-!" Young Marth furrowed his eyebrows. "We don't have much time. . .! I know you want to help Daisy, but you'll get gutted, seasoned, and fried!"

"You make tasty ingredient! Seafood ramen, yes?" Min-Min added.

"That. . . that actually sounds quite nice. . ." Roy drooled.

"These unnecessary racial comments just because she's a squid. . ." Marth sweatdropped.

"Ok, I'll stay behind. . ." Marmalade pouted.

"Don't worry! We'll play some Jenga! Bayonetta will keep us company, right?" Peach smiled at Bayonetta.

Bayonetta grinned and shrugged. "If you say so."

AC Cloud and Tifa ran out of the kitchen, and Peach, Bayonetta, and Marmalade walked over to the living room that was minutes away.

"What about you, little one?" Bayonetta looked down at Mega Man.

"I'll fight. I have to repay for my sins somehow."

Richter scoffed, with his eyes glued to his Bible. "Our Sins have been paid by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. If anything, don't waste your time fighting your sins off."

Mega Man paused. ". . .Who's Jesus?"

"Don't listen to him, and do whatever makes you feel tingly inside," Bayonetta grinned.

Mega Man gave a weird stare toward Richter before walking off.

"Being with the ladies sounds more pleasing than fighting some random crow boy." M. Robin yawned walking out of the kitchen, following Peach and Marmalade. "I'll just play Jenga-"

"Oh no! You're coming with me to find Sephiroth!" F. Robin lunged for his arm and pulled him in the opposite direction.

"You dare touch me, your Creator? Filthy vermin!" M. Robin had class not to curse as badly in front of women.

His sister smirked at him, loosening the tension. She leaned her lips to his ear. "Oh, I see! You're a coward. And instead of showing off in front of Makato, you rather hide your tail and play Jenga."

"What nonsense you spout," M. Robin smirked. "The moment Ike fractured my cheekbone, I've stopped chasing after Makato-"

"Liar! Even if you throw a bunch of women in the field, you're always interested in Makato, boyfriend or not. We both know what we want. If you help me, I'll help you."

M. Robin swiped his arm away from her sister's grasp and walked off in a different direction. "As if a woman could help me. Asking for help from a woman is like stepping on a bee. A thing you never want to do."

F. Robin grinned and looked back at Ike. "We'll be off then."

"You sure you wanna fight Sephiroth?" Ike said.

"Well, yeah! Of course, I'll be smart not to get caught in the fire." After that, F. Robin followed her brother.

Roy walked over to the two Ikes that stood next to each other. "Wow, you guys. . . overall 1.5% rotten tomatoes."

Vanguard Ike shot a glare at Roy and turned his head away. "Ah, seeing your face gives me unwanted PTSD. The Roy I know was obsessed with S-pop and never stopped playing Smash Street Boys.

"That's him right now," Ike said.

"At least the other me had taste!" Roy snickered.

"At least you died." Vanguard Ike said.

"You can go to hell."

"Guys, let's talk after we stop. . . Sephiroth, who isn't even here yet!" Marth said.

Miru curled his lips, as he kept his composure to not bawl out in tears. "Princess! You're not hurt, are you?! No injuries whatsoever?!"

"I'm fine, Miru." Makato showed a half-smile. "Are you going?"

She sounded fine. It gave Miru a sigh of relief. "Yes. . . Whatever it takes to ensure your safety."

"Tweet! Tweet!"

"No way. . ." Miru stared at his former self which was robotic.

"Meet, Miru-3000. The Makato in this world created this potion." Makato said.

"Tweet!?" Miru-3000 gasped out a glitch in his system, flying over to Miru, landing on his firm shoulders.

"It's nice to meet you- -hey! I'm not a wet floor mat!" Miru glowered at the bird.

"Oh, you can understand as well! I'm glad I'm not the only one." Makato said.

Marth walked up to Makato, standing right next to Miru. "Makato-chan. I'm glad you and Peach are safe. Although, I'm very curious to know about your life here since you've been taken away. We'll have to talk later."

"I. . . rather not talk about it. . ." Makato sweatdropped.

Roy opened the fridge in the kitchen and immediately glued his hand to his lips. "I bet it wasn't, Makato. There's like barely anything here! And it smells like doo-doo water!"

Young Marth sighed. "It's all my fault. . . if only I wasn't such an idiot thinking I could bring Daisy back just to get rid of their Daisy."

Vanguard Ike lifted his Ragnell to his shoulder. "You did the right thing."

". . .How come you're not on a rampage?" Young Marth asked, noticing his personality flipping.

"Just as you said, Marth. I was an idiot. . . . However, I wasn't a dumbass such as yourself."

"Ahaha, go fuck yourself." Young Marth flipped him off, walking out of the kitchen.

Marth turned to Young Marth. "Wait for me. Let's get to know each other!"

Young Marth looked up at him. "Hmmph, you might hate me after getting to know me."

"I'll come with you guys," Miru said. After glancing back at Makato with a slight bow, he turned his back and followed the two Marths.

"Same here!" Roy said, walking out of the kitchen.

Vanguard Ike glanced at Makato before looking back to his younger self. "Hey,"

"What?" Ike said.

"Say your last words, in case. . . you die." Vanguard Ike said.

"Die? What about you. . .?"

"Ima live through this regardless."

"The amount of ego I hope not to get-" Ike looked over to Makato, in which Makato looked up at him with worried eyes.

"None of us will die, but I sure hope you do," Ike said, furrowing his eyebrows. He turned to his older self, gripping the life out of his sword. "I don't know how you guys fought Sephiroth, but things will be different."

Vanguard Ike stared in silence and smirked. "Two Clouds and those Goku cosplayers. We're definitely gonna die."

"Heh," Richter scoffed. "I doubt the other Richter did what I'm about to do now-"

"He didn't. Richter and Simon I knew were Morman." Vanguard Ike said.

"What the fuck?!"

As Vanguard Ike walked out of the kitchen, he stopped his steps and turned his head to Makato. "If I live through this again. . . Promise you'll save the fourth kid for me."

"A-ah, what? N-no!" Makato stuttered, glancing away to the ground.

"Fourth kid? What's he talking about?" Ike said.

"It's something we agreed upon." Vanguard Ike said.

"No, we did not!" Makato cried, as her face burned out a bright red. Vanguard Ike let out a laugh, finally walking out of the kitchen.

Ike furrowed his eyebrows at Vanguard Ike's cape. ". . . Fourth kid? You guys talking about the Maury Show?"

"Please pay no mind to him." Makato shook her head. "Ike, I've been thinking. . . time is of essence and. . . life is very important too. . . and the future. . ."

"Yeah. . .?" He noticed her face burning up more than usual.

"So, Ike, when this is all over, will you. . . W-will. . . you. . . Oh God. . ." Her words mumbled out. Makato sighed, covering her face. "This is embarrassing. . ."

Ike smirked and patted her head. "Hey, save it for when I come back."

She removed her hands from her face and nodded. ". . .I may change my mind."

Ike then slipped his hand from his head, now walking out of the kitchen with his older self. It was now left with three people. Richter and Makato, featuring Min-Min, who was boiling mystery noodles in the background.

Richter splashed his container of holy water on the kitchen floor with his right and held his Bible firmly in his left. "You guys better hold on tight. I don't usually blast in tongues in public, but. . . Simon said to be bold no matter what!"

(oOoOoOo)

Roof

Tied up once again, to the highest point; an old rusty wi-fi signal tower. Icey winds and thunder made her whole body shiver, enough to trigger a high fever.

Daisy let out a sneeze and then a groan. Tired. Tired of the same shit. Tired of being a hostage. First, she was okay with Young Marth holding her for as long as she would dream. But now some. . .

"Sephiroth! If you want her, you gotta go through me first!" Solo screamed to the thunder and the lightning, standing right next to Daisy, except she was tied and bound.

"Oh my God, shut up! You've been saying the same shit outta your ass for the past fifteen minutes!" Daisy said. "You think tying me to the highest point will make this Sephiroth descend like an angel?!"

"Duh, you fucking retard."

. . . Some lunatic!

Daisy gritted her teeth and fidgeted, hoping to loosen the rope tied to her waist. "I swear, once I get down from here, I'll-!"

Estuans interius. . . Ira vehementi

Daisy paused hearing. . . singing? A pompous choir, bold and unwavering tunes. Rough stringed instruments brushing her ears and the sound of an electric guitar, almost like the grim reappear of this intense composed song. . .

Estuans interius. . . Ira vehementi

To keep track of her sanity, she glanced down at Solo, who also froze in place.

"You also hear the music. . .?" Daisy said, gulping.

"N-no shit. What am I? Deaf?" Solo stuttering, glaring at the sky. They both continued to gaze at the sky, snowing black feathers filtering the sky and the sound of sound sparked their ears.

Sephiroth!

Solo grinned with excitement as he crunched his fingers into a fist. "I'm gonna go all out twacking him into another dimension."

At this point, Daisy was waiting to become Sephiroth's fish food. While Solo was distracted, muttering a demonic murderous plan, Daisy realized the heel of her shoe was inches from Solo's cheek. The ropes were quite loose towards her leg, so if unnoticed, she could wiggle her legs out and. . .

'If I'm 'bout to die, I'd rather kill this brat first and then get skewered through the heart.' Daisy thought, lifting her leg. The moment Solo took the glance over to Daisy, he was faced with a heel right to his cheek.

(oOoOoOo)

"And that's why I put crunchy peanut butter under Ren's bed." Young Marth said, opening a room door that revealed a doorway to the jungle.

Marth sighed and facepalmed. "Ok, you're quite the asshole."

"I know. I even tried to kill your Daisy. . . but she forgave me. I just wanted to bring back my Daisy, and. . . see her smile again."

". . ." Marth pursed his lip, opening a room that led to a brick wall. "You two must be very close. . ."

"Aren't you guys?"

"O-oh. . . um. . . Daisy's a great friend, that's all." Marth shook his hands.

"You're a very bad liar, Marthy." Roy snickered, wrapping his arm around Marth's shoulders. "Before we got here, he was all like, Daisy! Daisy! My sweet Ave Maria~! I swear on my Falchion I'll save you!"

To silence Roy permanently, Marth swiftly performed a roundhouse kick to Roy's temple, sending him flying against the crumbling walls. More debris collapsed on top of him due to the weak foundation of the mansion.

"I- -I was kidding. . ." Roy coughed, fixing himself out from the debris. Blood poured from his forehead, but he seemed to not notice the red liquid.

"Tweet, tweet, tweet." Miru-3000 shook his head in disappointment.

Miru also mimicked himself, shaking his head. "There are times when you must keep your mouth shut. . ."

"It's gotten lively. . ." Vanguard Ike said, watching the two Marths talk to each other.

"This is your definition of lively?" Mercenary Ike asked. "I'm. . . so sorry."

Vanguard Ike scoffed. "I don't need your pity."

As the group continued their search, opening door-to-door, singing leaked throughout the cracks and holes of the ruined mansion. The group froze, and turned their attention toward the ceiling, hearing the main source of the song from. . . the roof above them.

"I hear music, guys." Roy gulped.

"Be on guard. He's here. . ." Vanguard Ike said, lifting his sword to a defensive pose. Everyone followed along, also lifting their weapons to their respectful defense positions. The music continued as violins gashed out their song.

Young Marth's sweat dropped, with the feeling of uneasiness roaring around him. "Guys. . . I think-"

"What a shame. . . Marth. . ."

He paused into a gasp of what he tried to say, but a blade long enough to reach the other side of the wall skewered through his gut, cutting him off otherwise. Fast as lightning, the enemy was before them, and they didn't notice. The Smashers had their eyes widened for Young Marth, minutes away from death. And behind him was the grim reaper himself.

"Marth!" Marth called out, rushing toward Sephiroth with his blade, aiming for his chest.

"H-how did he?" Roy was pale as a piece of paper.

Miru sweatdropped, unable to speak.

Sephiroth smirked, yanking his sword from Young Marth's and kicking his back as his moving shield. Marth was forced to stop his attack, grabbing hold of Young Marth that went straight for him.

"Hang. . . in there!" Marth groaned, holding onto his young self. It was cold and wet on his lap. Blood. And it wasn't about to stop anytime soon.

Young Marth's face grew pale and his breathing slowed down every few seconds. "This is what. . .I get for. . . betraying the bastard."

"I'll try to stop the bleeding. . ." Miru rushed over to the two of them, kneeling. Marth set Young Marth on the floor and stood up.

"Please. . . don't let him die."

"Tweeeeet!" Miru-3000 cried out robotic tears.

"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. . ." Miru pulled wrapping bandages from his pockets.

"Don't be like Marth and get stabbed from behind, guys." Vanguard Ike said, aiming his sword at Sephiroth.

"Roger." Mercenary Ike and Roy said.

"S-seriously? Fuck you. . ." Young Marth croaked.

As the four stood before Sephiroth, the symphony sparked mini earthquakes, shaking the mansion to what was about to come.

(oOoOoOo)

Kitchen

There was a fire. Fire in Richter's prayer as he blasted in tongues, holding his Bible. The moment he started praying, a translucent sky blue barrier surrounded the whole kitchen area, becoming immune to the earthquakes and the disasters around them. It didn't stop the symphony from screaming out "Sephiroth".

As the two girls stayed close to Richter, Min-Min covered her ears. "Aiya! This music makes Min-Min ear's bleed sewage water!"

"Y-yeah. . ." Makato murmured.

"Aiya. . . your eye." Min-Min pointed out.

"M-my eye?" Makato asked, touching her cheek.

"One purple! Are your eyes magical changing rocks?"

Makato paused and half-smiled. "No. . . you see, there's another part of me that is. . . more sensitive and dark. Since this music started playing, I've been trying to contain it. . . But all I get is a headache. . ."

Min-Min curled her lips and tilted her head.

"I'm sorry if I confused you. . ." Makato said.

"Aiiya, we both have good taste in music then. I have headache like Great Wall of Maria."

Makato didn't know what to say and just glanced away. The dark side of her voice screamed into her ears and her purple eye twitched to the beat of the drums.

". . .out. . . out! Let me out of this . . . torture! Outside is bliss! Get me out of here! You're killing meeee!"

"Uh. . .!" The headache boomed more into her head, just as her dark side commanded. The more she concealed the pain, the greater the punch of her headache. At this point, she dropped down to her knees and clenched both sides of her head.

"Aiya! Is the music that bad?!" Min-Min asked.

"I. . . need to get out of here. . ." Makato groaned, removing her hands from her head. Min-Min squinted at the sight of her eyes now both tainted purple.

Richter shut his lips and pulled out a bottle of holy water. "Don't let her leave, Min-Min. She's only acting that way because of a nearby evil presence."

Just as he said, a tall figure in all-black seeped out from the ground like a ghost, holding a long sword in his hand. He was tall and so was his silver hair. He smirked, showing forth his one black wing.

"Aiya! He look like trouble!" Min-Min said, wrapping her springy arms around Makato's waist.

"So you finally show yourself, demon." Richter sweatdropped.

"You're in my way." And that was all he said, as Sephiroth lifted his sword, striking the holy barrier. Min-Min and Richter held their ground, as his strike caused rumbling on the inside. He continued to do multiple strikes like an obedient puppet until the barrier broke.

Richter threw the holy water straight at Sephiroth. The water on his clothes fumed out a radiant blue fire and Sephiroth faded away like an exercised evil spirit.

"Easy peasy~ That's my money maker!" Min-Min cheered.

Celebrating early was Min-Min's downfall, as more Sephiroths appeared before them, surrounding the entire barrier.

"Oh, that's just. . . great!" Richter whipped out more holy water bottles. "I can do this all day!"

"You're in my way." The Sephiroths said all at once, lifting their swords.

Hallway

Just as Marth and Richter's group encountered a Sephiroth, Cloud's group came face to face with a Sephiroth of their own.

The distance between them was close to seeing the sinister expression on Sephiroth's face. He gawked his head over to Mega Man.

"It seems my other minion has arrived."

"S-S-S-Sephiroth. . .!" Mega Man's face went pale, recalling bad memories of the deal he had with Sephiroth.

Tifa held her fist up, standing next to Mega Man. "It's okay, we got your back."

". . . Thanks."

The Clouds were stepping ahead of the group, holding their Buster swords.

"The dead are supposed to stay dead!" Cloud lung first for the attack, followed

by AC Cloud. Sephiroth took the hit from the swords. Instead of blood, a black mist spewed out, cloning two Sephiroths.

"He- . . .he multiplied?" Tifa stuttered in disbelief.

"This is a clone. . . but just as powerful as his self." AC Cloud explained. "We'll waste our time fighting him."

"What a waste of time. . ." Arusu's hair was still in its lightning blonde state and so were his neon blue eyes. He turned the other way from the Sephiroth's and Cloud's group. "Let's go,"

"Yes, Goku- -I mean, Sir!" Eleven and Eight said, following behind.

"Hey, where are you guys-?" Tifa was interrupted with Mega Man's hand on Tifa's arm.

"They're probably searching for the real one."

"I hope to God they are. . ." Tifa sweatdropped.

As the Dragon brothers head off on their own, Cloud turned to their backs, having a strange feeling. Following them meant finding Daisy.

"This won't end if we don't stop the real one, right?" Cloud asked his older self.

AC Cloud nodded. "That's right."

That was the answer he needed. Cloud swung his sword back to his back and ran in the direction the Dragon brothers went.

"A little help here?!" F. Robin was forced into a 1-V-1 with now five ghost Sephiroth's after attacking him multiple times.

M. Robin hid behind a slab of stone and shook his head vigorously. "Tacticians don't throw themselves in a battle, they watch from afar."

"Useless degenerate male! Practically oozing out your he-man testosterone!"

"Says the Karen who's stupid enough to attack him five times!" M. Robin called out. "Did you or did you not see the sign when he split into two?"

"Shut up! If I die, I'm taking you down with me!" F. Robin ran toward her brother, in which M. Robin was given an immediate heart attack. The Sephiroths took simple steps, indicating they were following F. Robin.

"Crazy witch!" M. Robin did himself a favor and began sprinting.

"You coward! Come back here!" F. Robin chased after him, while the Sephiroths followed F. Robin.

Rooftop

The tables had turned when Solo shot his eyes open, feeling soaked and cold on the roof. He lifted his back and groaned at his cheek. Just placing his hand on his cheek felt tender to graze upon. The throbbing pain from that spark and fine point heel knocked him out unconscious until the roar of thunder drove him out of his sleep.

"Did I win?" Solo muttered. He stared ahead, seeing an orange dress in front of him, sitting in a criss-cross position. She wasn't tied to the pole. Hands and feet free. Solo was about to grab his sword beside him but noticed his weapon that sat on Daisy's lap.

"Win what? Waking up from your coma could be a win-win for you. Sleeping like a baby." Daisy snickered.

"You bitch." Solo snarled, touching his cheek. "Give me back my-"

A sharp heel confronted Solo's eyes and it had him pause halfway.

Daisy pointed the heel of her orange shoe right at his esophagus. "Unless you want to become a permanent mute, I suggest you watch your tongue."

Solo sweatdropped. Her eyes were like a lion's. Direct and focused, now feeling under the food chain.

"Now that's a good boy! If you want your wittle sword back, you're gonna get me down from this place, capish?"

The turquoise hero crossed his arms and snorted. That was all he could do anyway. Twacking her existence on this planet would most likely mean no quality time on a death match with Sephiroth.

The agreement was silent, and Solo carried her down to the main rooftop of the ruined mansion without a speck of dirt on her orange skirt or his sword.

Daisy grinned and handed him back his sword. "Here, just as promised. I'm a man of my words. Or. . . woman."

"What are you planning, anyway? You can't escape. You're my hostage." Solo said, yet standing a reasonable distance to keep her sharp heel away from his eyes, lips, and nose.

"Yeah, nobody cares."

His words didn't graze a fear in her eyes, as she walked towards the rooftop door. "Stop me and I'll destroy your children's tube."

". . ."

Daisy opened the rooftop door wide open and froze her steps. The opposite of her movement began with short steps, walking backward away from this. . . tall cynical-looking man. Long silver hair, all black with a long blade in his left hand.

"So this. . . is the flower girl from the other world. . . Well done." Sephiroth smirked, walking towards her.

Daisy grew pale at the sight of him and glanced over to Solo. "H-hey, a little help here-!" Her back hit the wall. She turned her back to see a black abyss. . . portal thing. She tried removing herself from the portal, but it grabbed her legs, tripping her to the ground, and dragging her into the abyss second by second.

"Keh. . . kekeke. . . It's about fucking time!" Solo grinned with excitement in his eyes. He swung his sword as a warm-up, inching towards the tall man in black.

"You idiot! You're supposed to save me! What's with this kekekeke?! Fricking monkey! You're definitely not Marth material!"

"Who said I was gay?" Solo stretched his hand toward Sephiroth's body and continued his maniac laugh. "Do you know what this is?"

Sephiroth turned to him in silence.

"This hand. . . You're literally about to die. . . by my hand! How embarrassing for you!"

"Come and try. . ." Sephiroth pointed his blade at him but didn't take a step.

Daisy gasped out a panic, not feeling her legs. Her torso and arms stretched out just in case Solo grabbed her hand and yank her out. But he was too distracted, warming up his fingers.

"Solo! I swear if I die, I'm haunting you to death!" Daisy cried out, digging her nails to the ground, saving little time to keep her body from being sucked into the endless abyss. She looked up to the sky, noticing the feathers stopped raining. Sephiroth also glanced up to the sky and furrowed his eyebrows. The music that carried him was fading off and the earthquakes became vibrations under his feet. Someone was stopping his distortions, and it was happening at a fast pace.

"First, I twack your eyes, then your nose. . ." Solo glared with a smile. "Then, I'll twack your lungs so you'll suffocate! Then just as you gasp for air. . . I'll take your organs, piece-by-piece!" Instead of his sword, his main weapon became the palm of his hand as he ran towards him with his palm out for his body.

"Twa-!"

"Enough."

Eyes as lightning, blonde hair. His body had lightning energy around him. Arusu appeared in front of Solo at such speed Solo couldn't finish his attack. Arusu's anger was intimidating that it made Solo lower his hand and reached for his sword.

"Get out of my way, Arusu." Solo demanded.

"We're going home."

"You'll have to kill me first."

"If that's what it takes, I'll break every single bone in your body if I have to."

"You can't do shit-" He spoke too soon and choked on his words, as a punch shot for his stomach, causing him to gag.

Crack

The amount of force sent him flying like a bullet to the nearest wall, and the wall behind Solo shattered like firecrackers.

Each of the Heroes had a talent for their skills. First, the youngest, Eleven, was known for his great memory and artistic skills. Eight was great with infiltration and befriending monsters and animals. Solo himself was an expert with magic, especially his all-time favorite Twack. And the eldest, Arusu, was a professional for his melee attacks.

'Shit. . .! I can't feel my back. . .!'

The same scenario. Injured, Solo found himself under the rubble from an attack from his older brother. No matter how he tried to evade or predict, Arusu was already three steps ahead.

This time enraged because Solo happened to be disobedient.

"W-what are you doing?! Hey!" Daisy witnessed the dreadful attack and couldn't do anything but an attempt to claw herself out of the hole.

Ignoring Sephiroth that stood behind him, Arusu marched toward his crippled brother with a darting glare. Each step caused pieces of the roof to crumble. A living Saiyan.

Toe to toe with Solo, Arusu grabbed Solo by the collar and shot another flaming punch to the jaw. Clenching the collar of his shirt with his left, he shot blow after blow with his right. A living punching bag.

"Stop it!" Daisy cried.

Each punch aimed for his jaw, his stomach, his chin, his face, the soft parts.

"You're gonna kill him! Please. . .!" This time tears were running from her eyes.

And every punch, Arusu was rewarded with blood running from his nose or his broken teeth.

Solo couldn't surrender, even if he wanted to. His jaw dislocated to speak and he grew weak as if life was slipping out from him.

"Solo! Get up! Who's this Goku-looking fuck boy?! Come on, Solo! Fight back! Use your Twerk or- -whatever you call it!"

Sure Solo said some foul things, but she could feel he wasn't as bad as she got to know him on the roof. Even those five minutes, she felt a connection. . .

'. . .idiot, worry. . . about yourself.' Her cries brought an image of Daisy's face to Solo's mind before blacking out. Arusu watched and waited till no breath was coming from him and loosened the grip of his shirt. He then pulled out Solo's headpiece and shoved it back onto his head.

Daisy curled her lips and tightened her eyes to keep more tears from forming. She loosened the grip on the ground, speeding the process of the darkness consuming her. "Monster. . ."

Sephiroth stood by and chuckled at the sight. "Hmph. What a pity-"

"Hahhh!" A surprise attack from Cloud right for Sephiroth's neck, but not a surprise for Sephiroth as he answered with a block of his sword.

"Cloud. . . You haven't changed. . . Wait, you look. . . Different."

"Sephiroth. . .! You don't belong here!" Cloud glared, pressing forward with his Buster Sword.

The distortions were less than a minute from vanishing, and the sky was losing its thunder and clouds. Equivalent to Sephiroth's stay here.

Sephiroth locked his gaze toward Cloud's mako eyes and smirked. "You should have gone for the girl."

Cloud didn't react to what he said until he heard his name being called out in a fragile way.

Turning in her direction, the last thing he caught a glimpse of was her arms being dragged into the eternal, dark abyss.

Cloud sprinted toward her direction and stretched his hand out. Only a graze of her fingers slipped from his grasp before he could hold her hand.

The abyss immediately parted away like steam, taking Daisy with it.

"The promised land is near, and she will show me."

Frustration filled the grip of his Buster sword as Cloud turned back to Sephiroth, only to see black feathers floating in the midst. The rumbling stopped and the sky soon cleared up to a smoggy blue.

'He's gone. . . Daisy. . .'

The two Heroes entered the rooftop and sprinted towards Arusu's back, whose hair was back to a dark brown.

"We're here, the distortions finally stopped, ya-!" Eight dropped his cheery expression when he noticed Solo, hunched over against a wall with blood covering him from head to toe.

Eleven went to check on Cloud, walking towards him. "Where's Sephiroth? And. . . Daisy?"

Cloud answered in silence and lifted his eyes to the sky.

'I was. . . too late?'

Ganondorf, distance from the battle, smirked with his arms crossed. "Heh, the best entertainment yet."
