Hello.
How y'all doing? I'm sorry. Did you say anxious? Well fret not dear citizens because I am here!
…
Sorry, couldn't resist saying that, anyway I brought you all another chapter so I do hope it brightens your day.
Start:
'Well, ain't this just horrifically wonderful?' Naruto thought with utmost sarcasm.
Vampires, a couple dozen of them, probably somewhere between forty to fifty, stood before Naruto and Moka with bloodthirsty grins plastered on their faces.
Fortunately, Naruto knew just how to turn the odds in his and Moka's favour.
It was practically his speciality.
"Kage Bunshin no jutsu!" With but a simple exclamation, four hundreds clones materialized and gazed back at the completely startled hoard of vampires.
Even Moka, despite her fiery anger at the entire situation, couldn't help but turn to him in shock, rage all but forgotten as she peered at the blonde with disbelief.
Naruto gave her a faux sad grin.
"Unfortunately, most of these gentlemen here won't be fighting with the two of us." At once, three-fourth of the clones disappeared in swirls of leaves, leaving behind only the original along with the vampire princess and a hundred clones remaining. "Gonna have them help the vampires and civilians on our side instead, that said, we still have these fine men right here to help."
Snapping out of her stupor, Moka chuckled as she returned her attention back to the now nervous horde. "Good, knowing that my people have back up leaves me with one less thing to worry about."
"Glad I could be of use."
Pushing away the slight hint of nervousness they felt deep down, one of the vampires, evidently the leader, stepped forward and smirked condescendingly at the pair. "You stand against fifty-four high-class vampires, it doesn't matter if one of you is a Shinso vampire and the other can clone himself, the both of you just cannot win!"
Rolling his eyes, Naruto shared a quick look with Moka who nodded before they (along with the clones) leapt at the fray.
Having trained extensively in hand to hand combat during the three years training trip with his Godfather, Naruto was somewhat of a master.
While not on the level of Might Guy when it came to pure taijutsu skills, he was still extraordinarily powerful and all the training he had done since arriving here had only amplified his abilities in hand to hand combat.
To put it simply, he was decimating the vampires around him with nothing more than his limbs.
He weaved around all manners of attacks, striking back with punishing blows and smiling brightly as the man-sized, blood-sucking parasites all recoiled in rage before coming at him with increased vulgarity, not realizing the simple yet reckless mistakes they made.
Taking advantage of their stupidity to leave themselves open and only focus on the offensive, each vampire that tried their luck at bringing him down were knocked unconscious with swift strikes to the pressure points.
Unfortunately, though he was capable of harnessing the mistakes made by the surrounding vampires consumed by rage, his clones weren't as effective and a lot of them paid the price as they popped after a good solid hit or two.
Ducking down from a hand thrust, Naruto quickly materialized a rasengan and thrusted his signature move right into the belly of the currently screaming cannon fodder before he was blasted away by the sheer power of the small blue glowing orb.
Raising a forearm, Naruto blocked the punch from the scowling vampire on his left before the shinobi jumped, twisted his torso, and delivered a painful kick right on the blood-sucker's face.
Crunch!
Ignoring the fact that he broke the nose of that unfortunate soul once his boot connected with said unfortunate soul's face, Naruto quickly spun before throwing out a spinning heel kick that landed on the temple of one of his numerous attackers and sent the attacker flying away.
Knowing that the battle was far from over, Naruto watched as four vampires leapt at him from all around before they sent a flurry of swift strikes his way.
Ducking, waving, parrying.
Naruto dodged them all, not a single hit landing on his form as he was in a far different league than his assailants.
Punching the incoming elbow on his right, Naruto ignored the pained scream of the vampire as he grabbed a hold of said vampire and quickly used him as a shield for the strike behind him.
Tossing the meat shield away once he had fulfilled his purpose, Naruto quickly struck a cross at the throat of the one who had attempted to strike him from behind before jumping away to dodge the twin strikes of the remaining two vampires.
Focusing and swirling chakra on either side of his palm, he whispered. "Rasengan barrage." Before leaping at the two remaining offenders of four, smashing his spheres right into their guts and blowing them away after a good drilling… (I'm dearly sorry lads, I just realized what that sounded like… just ignore how it sounds.)
Tossing a quick glance at Moka and at the situation as a whole, Naruto took a brief moment to consider the odds of the battle before he'd get attacked again.
So far he and Moka had been individually cleaving through the large horde of vampires and really bringing down their number to a little over half of what it was, his clones also helped massively in keeping a lot of the enemy forces distracted.
Hell from what he could see, Moka, like him, was also unharmed so far from the ordeal.
But despite the fact that they were doing well, Naruto didn't forget that this group here were preventing them from going any further than where they needed to go. The group, if he deducted correctly, served no purpose beyond being a living obstacle.
…Which means something serious is happening past these guys.
"Moka! We need to end this now, these guys here are not important." Naruto yelled before jumping away as a vampire in midair somersaulted before smashing their fist into the spot he formerly stood in.
The shinso vampire tched, parrying the strike of the vampire who dared to sneak up on her before retaliating with a low sweeping kick that had his back against the floor.
Acting quick, she raised her leg before bringing it down for a brutal stomp right on her downed opponent's face.
"I am aware of that! These guys may be considered high-class vampires but they're on the lower end of the high-class, nothing more than canon fodder." She replied with a sneer.
Her declaration, though accurate, still caused the remaining and conscious stray vampires to feel great rage at her dismissal.
"You shut your mouth, you whore!" One of them yelled as they leapt towards her with a bloodthirsty gleam in his eye.
Thud.
His body soon hit the floor, unmoving, dead, courtesy of the kunai embedded at the back of his head.
Ducking underneath a punch, Moka jumped and slammed her knee right into the jaw of her attacker before concentrating a large amount of yoki into her hair, each individual strand becoming sharp like knives.
With but a thought, her hair shot out and pierced the chests of the nearby vampires too surprised by her ability to get away.
Five were killed, instantly.
Wanting to speed things along, Naruto murmured another "Kage Bunshin no jutsu." Another hundred clones popping into existence and grinning sadistically at the somewhere between ten to fifteen stray vampires left.
Mentally ordering a single clone to leave, Naruto then turned to his slightly surprised comrade and gave her a grin, not paying any heed to the ninety-nine clones left along with the ones from earlier battling against the remaining canon fodder.
"You can still create so many replicas?" She couldn't help but question in disbelief.
Naruto sent her an affronted look. "Of course, still got lots in me, but never mind that." his posture tensed, all forms of amusement and mischief fading away as he eyed her seriously. "We must go, now."
Moka nodded. "Agreed."
Rumbleee!
Sharing a quick look, the pair both blitz past the fight with incredible speed, heading to the sources of tremor.
Within seconds, Naruto and Moka arrived in the room that was formerly the great balcony, looking over the ledge and coming across the view of Akasha clad in a reddish aura, fighting against five vampires, and looking quite injured from the looks of it.
Though the other five vampires too sustained injuries of their own, just not as numerous.
Acting swiftly, Moka jumped over the ledge and dashed towards the battlefield Naruto following suit, causing the vampire queen along with the other five assailants to pause before they backed away, wary of the sudden reinforcements.
Now standing within close range, Naruto got a much more in depth look at Akasha's injuries, eyes glazing over with rage as he menacingly turned to the five assailants only for his eyes to widen in slight shock as his eyes fretted over their features.
The one in the middle… Was the very same asshole he had bumped into just minutes ago before he entered Grayfia's room!
Evidently, he was not the only one who was shocked as Moka, even more enraged by the bruises and gashes found all over her mother's body, glared hatefully at the leaders of the attack.
…
Only, that hate and rage evaporated in an instant, drowned away by shock as she took a shaky step forward, mouth hung wide open as her sight strayed and locked on to the unmistakable features of the one who was half the reason for her existence. "F-Father." She whispered.
Naruto blinked before his eyes narrowed dangerously.
Chuckling, Issa stepped forward and spread his arms wide in a hugging gesture. "Why hello there, daughter… you've grown so big since I last saw you."
Gulping, whether it was due from shock or something else, Moka didn't know. "F-Father, why are you here? Why are you attacking mother? Who are these people standing beside you!?"
Her line of questioning caused the vampires standing there to giggle and snicker, finding great amusement in her plight.
"Oh how rude of me to not introduce you to my companions." Issa replied with a sickeningly charming smile. "The elegant woman to my far right (Cue giggle.) is the banished Queen Carmilla." He introduced before waving to the smirking vampire on his far left. "As for this gentleman, he is the banished King Tepes."
"I have to say Issa, your daughter is exceptionally beautiful." King Tepes remarked, voice tingling with lust as he eyed the shell shocked woman.
Issa smirked arrogantly. "Are you pleased now with our agreement?"
"Very much so Issa Shuzen." The banished king admitted.
"And what agreement is that? please do humor me" Akasha glared coldly at her former lover and the disgusting dog that was remorselessly eyeballing her daughter with depraved intent, having a pretty good idea of what this arrangement involved.
The platinum haired vampire standing on Issa's left smirked condescendingly as she brought a hand to her lips before giggling aloud. "Come now Akasha, surely you're more intelligent than this? Then again, I am giving you too much credit, you are after all just a fat ass, pink-haired slut with no admirable qualities beyond those cow udders and that big bottom of yours."
King Tepes grinned perversely at Gyokuro's words, sure enough, as he eyeballed the physique of the vampire queen, he could wholeheartedly claim that the woman was fucking Thicc.
Akasha's eyes narrowed further, still looking menacingly even as her body cried out in pain. "I care not for your insults or your palpable jealousy about my figure, Gyokuro. Now Issa, Answer. My. Question."
"Now, now, no need to get feisty, I'll explain promptly." Issa said with mirth before turning to the fuming Gyokuro. "And you my dear wife need not get so angry, you're beautiful just the way you are also, we have the upper hand after all, I mean look, Akasha can't last much longer. Moka, despite her impressive bloodline, is still a child, and that human is well… a human!" He proclaimed with a laugh.
His amusement and mirth was contagious as everyone on his side including Gyokuro laughed and giggled at his statement.
"The only one to worry about and I use that term loosely is Grayfia Lucifuge but she is nothing compared to us." Coughing into his fist, Issa's amused gaze slowly drifted to his still and quiet daughter. "Before I state the agreements and we resume battling, allow me to introduce to you Moka, the two lovely ladies on either side of me. The one on my left is my deeply cherished wife, Gyokuro."
With the way said vampire smirked so cruelly, one would think she was the manifestation of pure malice.
"And the lovely lady on my right is my daughter, Kahlua, your older sister by a year."
(I know that the age difference between the two is obviously larger than a single year, but in here, it's just an age gap of one year, also Kahlua is the only one in this universe who is Moka's sister, Kokoa and Akua don't exist in this story.)
"Hi precious little sister." Kahlua smiled brightly, with that smile and bubbly and airheaded aura, one would believe she was the opposite of her mother and was the manifestation of innocence.
Only one factor disapproved of such a notion, the small splashes of red that could be found on her hands and visage.
Moka could only mutely gaze upon her step-mother and half-sister, too riddled with shock to say anything.
"As for the agreement, well it really is simple, in order to secure Queen Camillia and King Tepes's cooperation, I had to ensure that their power and influence would reign as a supreme force once I planned this coup d'état, hence Lady Camilla is now my fiancé and as for King Tepes? I promised your hand in marriage."
"So, now that I've explained myself, I want you to be a good girl and leave your mother along with this human." He spoke the word with contempt, his ire increasing slightly as Naruto gave him the middle finger. "Do that and I will spare them, there is so much potential within you my dear."
That was the final icing on the cake. Moka stood there, her expression heartbroken beyond words as her mind constantly replayed her father's words like a loop.
Still…
Knowing that now was not the time for tears. Moka quickly wiped away the residual gathering of moisture on the edge of her eyes before glaring angrily at her father…No, he didn't even deserve such a title.
"And let me guess, that potential within me is because of my shinso blood!?" Moka inquired sarcastically, sniffling slightly as despite wanting to present a strong front, she couldn't help but be emotionally affected by all this. "You know, for a long time, even after you left! I thought you cared about me not because of the shinso blood but because I was your daughter."
"Obviously, I was wrong." The younger Shinso bitterly remarked. "I see it clearly now, the only thing that makes me valuable to you is because of my blood."
Issa's lips curled into an unkind smile. "I am guilty of that, but you have a choice my dear daughter, either come willingly, or by the time this entire ordeal is over, you will be used and seen as nothing more than livestock so our race can prosper and become even mightier than ever!"
"That won't happen." Akasha spoke resolutely, her gaze as cold as ice. "Nothing will happen to my daughter! This I vow."
Hearing the fierceness and protectiveness in her mother's voice, Moka had to quickly hold herself lest she break down and weep.
"I agree, you won't be harming anyone else today, I don't care who you all are, you don't just get to mess with people's lives and get away with it." Naruto finally spoke.
Gazing at him with disinterest, Issa raised a curious brow as he noticed the orange pigmentations that were now painted on and around his eyelids.
Still… it didn't change the fact that it was a human that dared to address him.
And so fearlessly too.
Issa frowned.
Unfortunately, Naruto wasn't your everyday, average, and regular human.
Now in sage mode, Naruto's physical abilities, already tremendous due to the gravity seal training, was even more legendary thanks to the natural chakra that filled him. Only, something was wrong, the senjutsu chakra of this world felt so vile and bitter.
So much so that Naruto felt like he was using the Kyuubi's chakra and was using about three tails worth.
Pushing back the negativity, Naruto calmed himself before raising his hand high.
Suddenly, a light shined for all to see, majestic in its brightness and captivating even the most aloof of vampires.
It was a light blue ball, swirling in all manners of direction above Naruto's palm.
And then… It evolved.
Four protruding blades took shape and spun around the sphere and with it, came the noise that caused each of them to wince as it sounded like the very air itself was getting torn to shreds.
"Wind style: Rasen Shuriken." Naruto quietly called out before he chucked the energy shuriken right at the four of the five vampires who jumped away. King Tepes, seemingly not needing to move, smirked condescendingly at the blonde.
Boom!
Only to die as the shuriken detonated, a massive shockwave rippled through the air, pushing everyone back as a massive spherical vortex of wind materialized in the spot they stood in.
With the wind explosion still going strong, Naruto quickly created and deployed forty clones to serve as distractions while he figured out a game plan.
Shifting his attention to the transfixed vampire mother-daughter pair, Naruto uttered. "I'm going to fight this Queen and that woman who is his wife. Moka, Akasha, will the two of you be able to fight right now? If you can't then it's alright, I'm pretty strong in this state."
Snapping out of their transfixed state, Moka ignored the ensuing explosion as she nodded towards the blonde human, paying no heed to the curiosity that reared its head within her once she noticed the orange eyeshadow that was presently on his features. "I can fight Kahlua but that leaves my fath… Issa."
Turning to the older vampire, Moka's face contorted into one of utmost concern. "Mother, you should sit this one out, you wouldn't be able to fight father as you are now, You're too hurt."
"I'll be fine Moka." Akasha reassured, bestowing a quick kiss at her daughter's head before stepping back. "While I'm not in the best of health after fighting five ultimate class vampires simultaneously, I was still able to go on and now that I'm up against only Issa? I can definitely win, have a little faith in me."
"But m-" "Don't worry, I will be alright, we will be alright." Akasha gently interrupted.
Tossing a look towards the blonde, the vampire queen smiled mysteriously. "Naruto, while I do have questions regarding your abilities, I know it's not my place to ask and I know it's not the time either, I just need to know this, can you really face two ultimate-class vampires?"
While it was true that he had just killed an ultimate-class vampire in a single move, said vampire was arrogant and didn't bother to move, which ironically enough was his downfall.
Now that the surprise factor wore off, the question of whether he could hold himself against not one but two ultimate-class beings was what mattered.
"He beat me in fair combat, mother." Moka revealed, her pale cheeks tinted a light pink at the admission, cheeks darkening as her mother's shocked gaze landed on her. "And that was without the use of his clones or his blue orb or even this state that he's apparently in."
"Okay." Nodding, though Akasha made a note to question the two later, she sent a thankful nod to the otherworldly human. "Then we have our targets." She confidently declared.
Just in time too as the number of clones left fighting the four ultimate-class vampires reached the single digits.
With his body, already strengthened greatly thanks to the gravity seals and now augmented with the power of nature, Naruto seemingly teleported, his new speed allowing him to reach Gyokuro faster than most eyes could see.
"Hello." Naruto smiled cheerfully and waved before punching the vile woman right on the kisser.
Instantly, Gyokuro was blown back by the sheer power of the punch, and Naruto whirled till he was facing the direction of Queen Camilla. (From here on out, I'm just going to call her Camilla.)
Blitzing to her location, he moved around till he was facing where the downed form of Gyokuro was, ducking underneath her backhand, Naruto rewarded Camilla for her efforts with a light kick that had her stumbling back, the breath stolen away from her lungs.
Sadly, Naruto wasn't done with the queen of the disbanded Camillia faction, aiming a palm in her direction, he uttered the words that were going to appear in the nightmare of those who would come to hate or detest him.
"Almighty push!"
Utilizing a decent amount of chakra, Naruto watched with glee as a torrent of wind expelled from his body before slamming into Camillia and sending her form rocketing back directly to where Gyokuro was.
The results… were beyond satisfactory. And after so many weeks of constant training with clones, Naruto pumped a mental fist in the air before he quickly appeared right before the groggy forms of his opponent.
They growled in indignation, their pride torn in shambles due to the fact that a human, a human!? Was responsible for their injuries.
Still, having witnessed and now having been on the receiving end of his attacks, they knew that underestimating him was a bad idea.
With but a single look, Gyokuro and Camilla shared their thoughts across before they bounded straight for the source of their current ire.
Jumping back to avoid Camilla's ax-kick that splintered the ground, Naruto was then forced to weave his head to the side in order to dodge the palm thrust sent courtesy of Gyokuro, bobbing down as an elbow moved past his head before he responded back with a uppercut to the stomach that her coughing blood.
A punch followed and Gyokuro was blown away as his knuckles connected once more with her face.
With his fist still extended, Naruto quickly whirled back to Camillia who tried to sneak up on him, hand clasping her ankle and preventing from tossing a kick that was aimed at the back of his head.
Spinning while maintaining his grip, Naruto somehow sidestepped while still upholding his momentum in order to avoid the beam of darkness that continued to tear the path behind him.
With perfect timing, he released his hold on Camillia's ankle, watching as her form slammed into Gyokuro all the while he leisurely walked to them.
Though it went without saying that he was still keeping his guard up.
Growling heatedly, the pair shared another look as they got up before a red magic circle materialized in front of Camillia's body.
Naruto narrowed his eyes at the sight. 'Another kind of energy beam?'
The shinobi thought wrong as red mist began to envelop and drown the area he stood in before Camilia's and Gyokuro's form scattered into bats.
Knowing that the crimson mist was not poisonous since he had read up on the normal abilities of the vampires along with other races during his stay here, Naruto still chose to be on high alert as it was obvious that the female vampires have decided to forgo hand to hand combat.
Choosing to rely on tactics instead, which now made them a tad more dangerous.
Darting his head to the left, he jumped out of the way as a darkness beam obliterated the place he formerly stood on (and the trail behind.). Whirling in the direction of eight o'clock, another beam fired and Naruto inwardly grunted in annoyance as he dived away, instantly getting back on his feet.
Spreading his arms on either side of his body, Naruto mumbled. "Almighty Push."
A spherical force of wind chakra formed and rapidly expanded outwards, pushing back against everything and blowing away the mist, debris and exposing the location of the startled vampire duo.
Forming his signature attack on his palm, the shinobi blitz behind Camillia's back, and slammed the deadly sphere of blue right on her behind. "Rasengan."
Camillia screamed as the attack drilled into her back before it exploded and sent her skidding back into the ground unconscious.
Shivering at the insane display of speed and power, Gyokuro raised a shaky finger before uttering a word that pierced Naruto's soul. "M-Monster."
Monster. Monster! MONSTER!
Gritting his teeth in anger as he heard that accursed word, Naruto stomped menacingly to the petrified vampire who gave up, having recognized that there existed a far too large gap in their abilities for her to emerge victorious in this bout.
Within seconds, Naruto made it to the shivering woman and without any ounce of mercy, slammed his fist into her guts with such power that she blacked out immediately.
Scoffing at what this Gyokuro had dared to call him, he exhaled sharply before trying to reign in his temper.
Was he seriously becoming angry because of one silly word? That too uttered by someone who seemingly had no shred of goodwill in her body.
Suddenly remembering the sensation of rage and animosity he felt once entering sage mode, Naruto furrowed his eyebrows. 'Am I getting angry so easily because of the nature chakra of this world?'
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Naruto opted to think about his predicament later.
Now was not the time to be distracted.
Creating two clones who proceeded to tie the two ultimate-class vampires he had beaten, taking them away while keeping an eye on them.
Knowing Akasha could handle herself despite being injured, the shinobi headed towards where he guessed Moka to be located, stopping once he was thirty feet away and nodding approvingly at Moka as she dragged her unconscious sister by the leg.
Eyes narrowing in confusion, Moka couldn't help but inquire. " Where are the two vampires you fought?"
"I had a clone tie them up and take them somewhere inside the mansion, that way no one comes and somehow frees them and they escape. I'm also having my clones keep guard.
Nodding in approval at his plan, the vampire princess gestured to her knocked out sister. "Would you be so kind as to have your clone do the same with Kahlua?"
Seallessly forming another replica that immediately set out to do what it was created for, Moka smiled in gratitude before her expression turned serious. "We need to go help my mother."
"Agre-" Naruto paused as a massive chunk of ice formed and crystalised the area where Akasha was still fighting.
Bounding immediately for the region, the pair made it there within seconds and were endowed with a view of a heavily injured Akasha standing alongside the tense Grayfia appraising the situation while glaring at the similarly injured Issa standing next to an unknown and unhurt blonde haired man with glasses.
Having noticed them from the corner of his eyes, Issa's lips twisted into an even uglier sneer. "How is this possible? Gyokuro, Camillia, and Kahlua lost!? How!?" He raged before his eyes strayed from his daughter to the blonde standing next to her.
The very same blonde who had killed King Tepes… and the very same who had fought his wife and Lady Camillia.
The fact he was here…
Issa's eyes darkened with unbridled rage.
"You! You're the cause of all this! Had you not been here, Akasha would have been dead! Moka mine! And I would have already been king! I will not forget this human! There will be retribution to pay." Issa vowed before swiftly jumping into the portal, the glassed wielding, blonde haired man followed suit.
Sighing as he sensed the night was over, Naruto filtered the natural chakra out of his system and nearly stumbled as exhaustion kicked in.
Evidently, he wasn't the only one feeling tired as Akasha dropped to her knees.
Watching as Moka screamed before running over to her mother, Naruto looked over to Grayfia and exchanged a tired nod before he looked up in the sky, his mind rampant with theories despite the exhaustion.
'Who was that man next to Moka's dad? Why did I feel so angry about that one stupid word? Why is the natural energy of this world like this? And what does this all mean?'
Naruto closed his eyes in thought.
He needed answers.
And soon.
End.
And that marks the end of this chapter. I think this is the first time I ever ended it on an ominous note, so it's kind of an interesting feel to things.
My bad about the late update guys, I'm afraid it took a long while because I've just always been super bad with writing fighting scenes, I can imagine them but wording it is hard for some reason.
I do hope you all liked it though, I did enjoy writing it… when I wasn't scratching the back of my head.
Chapter 14, 15, and 16 are already posted, feel free to check it out if you wanna see them ahead of time.
