author's note(added 27th of april 2024)

So, i decided to update this story with author's notes. i'm still very new to the whole fanfiction thing, let alone writing in general and this is the first time i had the guts to post something i'm working on online, which i never dared to do before due to my struggles with anxiety.

But i would still love to hear what people think of it, it's still very rough but i'll keep working on it.

Chapter 1: a new arrival

It was a slow morning, only 3 days after the last grueling extermination as a young blonde woman sat inside a beautifully decorated, cozy room, looking outside through a window in the shape of a giant eye, towards the hellish red sky, adorned with a large pentagram.

She gave a deep sigh...extermination day was never easy...though it had become a tad more bearable with the company of her partner, who was slowly approaching from behind her.

"You alright, babe?" the grey skinned, silver haired woman asked, the 2 of them had been dating now for about 3 years and it was her company, vaggie's, that made these days a little more manageable as charlie, the princess and heir to the throne of hell, was snapped out of her deep thoughts.

"Oh...uh, yea, sorry...zoned out there for a sec, sorry vaggie" she responded. "nah, don't worry about it babe, just making sure you're alright" the shorter woman responded.

It was at this point...something in the background caught vaggie's eye...it was...almost...a falling dot?

"Uhhhh, charlie? You have a clue what..."that" is?" she emphasized as she pointed to outside.

Charlie raised an eyebrow as she turned around, squinting her eyes, trying to make out the small little shape that was seemingly slowly descending towards the skyline of pentagram city.

A little later and vaggie had taken up residence in the crows nest of the ship that was attached to the run-down hotel they called home, their future project, charlie's dream, the hazbin hotel.

As she was leaning out, holding onto a rope to hang dangerously outside the crows nest, charlie next to her, fidgeting with her finders. "it...almost looks like...wait...IS THAT A PERSON?!" vaggie's eyes widened as she realized there was a person plummeting towards the ground of the city.

"wait WHAT?!" charlie blurted out as the 2 exchanged glances and quickly tried to hurry their way towards their estimation of the impact zone.

The princess and her girlfriend reached their destination just in time as by now, the figure was close by enough that they could hear this loud, long scream which slowly got louder and louder as they descended downwards at a rapid pace. "WE GOTTA HELP THEM VAGGIE"charlie yelped as she shook vaggie's shoulders as she responded "what CAN we do?! it's not like either of us can fly or something!" as they looked up and saw the figure, which turned out was a woman, reach the city skyline as the 2 of them braced themselves for the woman's impact.

They were expecting allot...but not for her to hit nearly EVERY building, balcony AND slanted roof on the way down, each of which made a almost comical crashing noise, followed by a painful curse from the girl, it was as if ripped straight from a cartoon, the 2 women on the ground wincing every time she made an impact.

*CRASH* "FUCK!"

*BAM* "SHIT!"

*THUD* "DAMMIT!"

*CLANG* "MOTHERFUCKER!"

*BONK* "FECK-IT!"

With a final crash, the young adult looking lady landed face first into the dirt.

Slowly, Charlie and Vaggie approached as the princess softly spoke up "are...are you...ok?"

The woman in question slowly raised a shaking hand, not lifting her head from the dirt as with a shaky voice, they heard "i'm ok"

Apparently she spoke too soon, as a few seconds later, a flowerpot, which she had knocked loose on the way down came clattering as with a hollow crash noise, it landed right on the back of her head, making her whole body jolt in a comedic way. "...a little less ok..." she finished answering.

Flabbergasted, the 2 women looked at eachother, trying to process what they just saw as vaggie was the first to speak up "uhm...you need any help getting up?"

holding up a index finger, the woman slowly peeled herself out of the pavement and dusted herself off

"ight i think i'm good-OH WOW HOT BABY MAMA!" she said in a excited way as she laid eyes on the grey skinned lady.

she quickly composed herself as she leaned against a nearby wall, looking slightly down on vaggie as she puts up a smirk and with a half lidded gaze and a slightly sensual tone in her voice, she simply said "...hey...come here often?"

Her comment was quickly met with a fist to the jaw and some angry cursing in Spanish as charlie was now trying to calm down her girlfriend, the woman, slowly getting up from the ground as she said "JEZUS CHRIST, that was a compliment, you could have just said no! feckin hell...you got a MEAN right hook on ya" as she wiped some blood off her lip, which was...golden?

A couple minutes later and a fairly awkward walk back to the hotel and the strange lady that fell from the sky was now sitting on a sofa in the main lobby of the hotel, the blood on her lip having slowly shifted from a glowing gold to a deep, dark, more natural looking red.

She got up and approached the sliver haired woman with a extended hand, rubbing the back of her head with the other as she gave an awkward smile "ehhhh...maybe we got off on the wrong foot, didn't know you were already taken, my bad...name's ashley by the way...and today has been...kinda insane..."

With a deep sigh, vaggie accepted the apology and shook the woman's hand as she begrudgingly added "yea...i'm...sorry too, i might have responded a little too feisty" to which ashley leaned into charlie and whispered to the princess "gurl tell me your secrets, how'd you pull a bad bitch? she's the whole fucking package" Charlie just shrugged with a awkward smirk.

The demon princess put her hands together, took a deep sigh and then spoke "alright, we now know your name, but normally, sinners kinda just manifest here in hell when they die, you literally came FALLING FROM THE SKY...what happened?!"

the woman just looked at the 2 girls "...wait i'm in what now?"

the 2 just looked at eachother with a face that said "oh boy...this is gonna be quite a bombshell to drop" as vaggie took a deep breath, looked at ashley and said "you...kinda died...you're in hell..."

Wincing, the two women recoiled and brace themselves for the impact...that never came...Ashley instead was just blankly blinking at them for a solid 10 minutes without saying a single word...

"oh wow...that went better then i tho-" she was about able to say as all of a sudden, through the entirety of the pride ring, rung a loud shout "I'M IN "WHAT"?!"
