Rachel Greene is Hershel Greene's niece who lived in Lima, Ohio with her two dads. Rachel graduated from McKinley High School and went on to become a Broadway star. While visiting in Lima to pay tribute to a Glee member, the outbreak begins. Half of the Glee club leave to find Hershel's farm but instead end up with our survivors at the quarry.

Also just wanted to say that the story takes place at the beginning of the zombie apocalypse but, the characters in The Walking Dead are already in the prison.
