Ba Sing Se. I wish to never go near it after today, the worst conditions, the rudest people and dai li watching every Inch of this place!
Jin sighed. "I hate this place but the middle ring gives us enough to feed everyone during the winter. The Ladies here are especially the gems of the middle ring, sadly the princess is an unpolished gem and is always cooking anything on four legs." My Translation. 'She's an angry b-word, who eats rare animals.'
I sighed. "So Money is the only reason we're here?"
Hua interrupted. "Nope, there is this guy who can eat metal!"
Huan continued with. "And he's not a bender!"
Jin finished. "He also eats glass."
I lightly chuckled. "So, you're just looking for someone to eat your bottles, aren't you?" Jin burst out laughing so did all who were in the passenger carriage with them.
Jin stopped, taking a few breaths before speaking. "I might drink once in a while, but I'm not that bad, am I?" Most of the other Performers agreed and few of his drinking buddies
I shrugged, to be honest. "As long as I don't have to share my stuff, I'm fine, boss." She told him as they stopped at a field in the middle ring.
"Start setting up the tent!" He yelled and then stomped creating two pillars into the sky. The tent was draped over it as a few metal benders hammered nails at the edges of the tent to stabilize it.
In the matter of hours the tent was set and ready. "Zaya go to "the market" for the "Special order" and see if there are some worthwhile attractions." He said before a platapus bear hugged. "Haha JUJU! Stop I can't breath." The tubby, balding man said laughing at the playful platypus-bear.
I walked to the outer rings black market, carrying a pouch with fruits and a few jerkies. The Dai Li had their ears everywhere and they were following Jin like a criminal yet his employees weren't so I put on my mask and took my chance to look around.
I went to the animals in cages and then saw the fluffy white dough ball with six legs. The owner of the beast walked toward "Oh did she get your attentio-" I punched him in the stomach and then held him by the color neck then held a fire blade in front of his throat. "Oh please, I don't sell anything illegal!" The other vendors scoffed as they watched the blue fire bending preteen about to beat the man up.
She shoved the man to the ground and melted the lock on the cage. Jin has a list, which he calls the legendary five. They're animals, either endangered to a degree that people think they're completely extinct or can only be trained while they're still young, he also preferred not to pay. "He didn't hurt you did he?" I offered the baby an apple which was accepted with the baby pygmy flying bison taking my hand into its mouth. "Ew." Shivers went through my body but as I gently removed my hand from the bison's mouth.
I took a note from and sighed Standing away from the Cage.
I opened the cage as slowly as I could, but the little beast flew as fast as it physically could! "Aaaaaahhh!" I screamed looking over the city as I held on to the baby bison's horns. The Baby Bison headed toward the sky and then it started moving toward the center circle of Ba Sing Se.
The bison landed and I fell off. After standing up I held my mouth not to throw up as my face turned green. "I wasn't expecting a guest." the man told me and I watched him place a bison shaped whistle into his left sleeve. He looked at me and then my vision became blurry. On instinct I jumped up using my fire bending to fly across the sky, yet I saw the Bold man flying after me, but on the ground I saw a woman.
I ripped off my outerwear showing my escape flight suit. My first act however was landing next to the Woman that was next to. I changed my voice, as I put a fire blade next to her throat. "Tell me where Azula is!" The boldy landed in front of us.
I remembered my mother's training. "She's in the fire nation. Under guard of the fire lord himself." I tightened my grin. "In the basement of the palace." I sighed, why did the spirits hate me? I pushed the woman away and fired lighting, instead of firing one single killing strike, I fired multiple small strikes from two of my fingers. It was designed against lightning redirection, it worked perfectly as both fell to the ground and I ran away flying back to the middle ring and burned my escape suit and changed my hair cut, even dyed it in areas.
I was frustrated. "What happened kid?" Got a bag out under my bed. "Oh god, who found you?!" He was terrified.
"The avatar, whatever happens. Tell them I can bend blue fire since my birth. We need to get our stories straight. Or else I'm going to jail and the officials will realize you have been breaking prisoners out and the criminals will realize that I have been putting them back for the bounty money!" He nodded frantically.
Zaya stepped to the stage, she took her breath, walked to the stage produced lightning from both hands, she danced the lightning acting as ribbon, each movement precise and exact, the lighting moving in perfect sync with her. With the swing of her arm the lighting flew hitting a generator and causing the lights to start. "WELCOME TO THE MOUNTAIN OF A THOUSAND STORIES, ODDITIES AND AMAZMENTS!" They cheered. "First our Guru will teach how matter is never constant, after him our best musician duo." They clapped and she exited by bending smoke and fell through a trapdoor.
She walked to Jin's office. "The Dai li in the crowd and I saw—" Said Dai-li had been knocked out. They launched their rock and hands at her and seized her. "HELP!" She was pulled underground, disappearing from the world.
She woke up, tied to a chair. "Of Course." She studied the cuffs, metal. Cramped cell, which meant it wasn't a brain washing facility, the room was unkept, it was dusty and dirty which was somewhat odd.
Two Dia Li members came into the cell. "Welcome, You're our honored guest." Zaya chuckled, causing both to look surprised.
She let out a hearty sigh. "Ok, let me guess. You're not an official organization, but instead a tool of the Earth princess, I have been captured for what reason? To be your plaything or her's?" She smirked and both agents looked impressed.
One of the agents spoke. "It is more so your mother we're interested in." She raised a brow at him. "We know where she is—"
Zaya interrupted. "Not of value I already know she is kept in the fire nation, to be exact under the royal palace." She looked unimpressed, the fourteen year old in time had: Taken control of a circus, fought criminals twice her size and had escaped the avatar. The Dai Li in her eyes were like criminals but smarter, crueler and more loyal. "What do you want from me?" The two Dai Li agents looked at each other.
They turned to her and spoke out their request. "We offer you a flower of trust." She raised a brow at that. "We split from the White Lotus as they let themselves be led by World leaders rather than philosophy and beauty and truth." Zaya nodded her interest growing. "Your Mother was what we Call worm member someone, who was given knowledge and tools to better the world by killing the parasites and eating the weeds, yet was blind to our group." Zaya nodded, now getting a bigger picture.
Her mind went through her entire life, from the furthest she could remember. "You were my mother's informants, you're the ones who paid her to destroy gangs and triads. You were using her without her knowing or even without me knowing." Her entire world shook as she realized this, her entire life these creeps were keeping tabs on them. "Were you ever able to free my mother?" She glared at them if ready to break out of her cuffs at any moment.
The two shook their heads. "No, we Apologize but we were never able to find her exact location, we only knew that she was in the fire nation. Even now, we won't be able to free her." Zaya's mind went through possibilities, how she could be able to enter the Palace, to the basement and free her mother. Storming it is impossible. That place is more protected than— Protected, infiltrate the guards. "How do one become part of the Royal guard?"
The hidden flower members answered. "You have to be part of the united forces with multiple accolades, then get a recommendation from an admiral, finally there must be an empty position." A smirk creapt across her face.
She was brought back to the circus only to get trampled by multiple animals, Jin, Hua and Huan. "Where were you?!" The twins demanded.
Jin looked Zaya in the eyes. "The earth Queen has invited you to his court." Zaya just gave a dead panned reaction. "Oh good you're normal, back to work." He said in complete denial that the Dai Li still existed.
"Where were you?" She shrugged. "I woke up under the ground." They both didn't look impressed.
"Did a criminal find you?"
"And bury you alive?"
Zaya smiled. "No, I just had an enlightening experience." She went to her room and sat in front of the mirror to clean her make up and there noticed something was missing. "My hair piece." She spoke terrified.
