The next day, we went to church.
"We'll be taking Jeff to the airport before we go with my parents for the day," said Sharon.
"Okay," said Dad. "Mary Anne and I have plans anyway."
At the mall, we went to the food court for lunch first. Then, we went to JC Penny for the bed covers. Since we were adopting Carlos, I helped what he likes. Sports theme. I got the a basketball cover for both twin beds while getting more bed covers for the other beds. We went to Sleepy's from there.
At Sleepy's Mattress Store, we found a lot of nice, perfect mattresses, so we were all set. I showed them a picture of my bed, Dawn's, and Jeff's in the meantime. They had those beds like that, which is nice.
"Do you mind if we can make the deliver later this week while we remodel the attic?" asked Dad.
"We can do that," said the clerk as he looked at the computer. "How about Thursday?"
"That works," said Dad.
"That would give us time to clean the attic," I said. "Do you plan things somewhere in the meantime?"
"I thought about doing that," said Dad.
After it was paid, we left for Walmart.
"I wonder if we should a lamp over there," I said.
"That would be a good idea," said Dad.
We decided try to figure it out on what to do.
"We could let Carlos pick wallpaper on what he wants," I said.
"I'm thinking about the same thing," said Dad. "We can see if we have time to do so."
"On the other hand, I wonder if we should do the wallpaper before we put those nightstand and drawers," I said.
"You got a good point," said Dad.
"Therefore, we can get the wallpaper while we're there," I said.
At Wal-Mart, we found a drawer with two mixed sports since Carlos likes both basketball and baseball. Same with the nightstand. We had someone put them in his van. I only found basketball wallpaper, but that will work. Then, we went home. At home, we brought everything in. I put the lamp with the cover and the curtains in the living room.
"We can leave the nightstand and drawer in the van for tonight," said Dad.
"Okay," I said.
"I'm thinking we can put them in the living room with the others either tomorrow or the day after," said Dad.
"Maybe Logan can help you bringing it in," I said.
He has muscles.
"Sure, that would be great," said Dad.
"We can save curtains for last after we finish cleaning the attic. I'm not sure how tall he is to reach that," I said.
This is going to be fun.
