My version of how Maria and Georg realized they were in love. Picking up at the “edelweiss” scene.

They let each other go once…they would never make that mistake again.

What if Maria and Georg met one day prior to her arrival at the villa? What if there was no baroness? What if Georg was never cold hearted to the children?

Maria's face was very flushed that night, but not just from emotion and the exercise of dancing. Her rapidly-worsening illness halts her flight from the villa, and the Captain is forced to contend with the possibility of, once again, losing a woman he loves.

How many times have we hoped for the best, only for the worst to happen? Sometimes, it's hard to believe the sun will ever come out again...

"And why do you stare at me that way?" "I can't help but think, sir—" "Yes?" "We've met before." The Captain was no stranger, Maria discovered some time after being sent to the von Trapp household as a teacher and governess for the summer. No, she and the Captain were not strangers at all. (AU, main body of the story begins in 1933.)

Five years later, Maria finds herself signed up for another summer gig. Will this one change her life, too? AU where Maria left the night of the party and didn't return.

This is a sequel to Moments of Truth which details the von Trapp's escape from Austria after the Anschluss. You will likely be pretty lost unless you read Moments of Truth first, so I highly recommend it.

modern au. Strange, but under her gaze he felt as if, at last, after a long time, he was safe again. Any sorrow or anxiety was gone. It was just the two of them, and then that was all that mattered.

"Telling your mother you're pregnant at seventeen? What's so fearsome about that?" When Liesl finds herself unexpectedly pregnant after a long Christmas afternoon, will she be able to find the strength and the courage to tell those closest to her? What will happen in the months - and years - to come? Will she be able to work on her studies and relationship with a baby in tow?

Maria and Georg are forced to anticipate their honeymoon return after the last of Max's concerning letters. Coming back to the Salzburg that gifted eachother the love of a lifetime, they can't suspect life will never be the same again ...

How did they come to love each other? A series of building romances between the beloved Captain and his Fräulein. *semi-slow burn* follows the movie!

“Do you still find me attractive?” Georg comforts Maria while she is feeling unsure of herself. Entirely saccharine Georg. Possible second chapter, otherwise it works as a One-Shot!

The Captain sends a letter to Maria, in hopes that she'll come back. Will she?

modern AU-story: Georg von Trapp, a 23 years old young soldier meets Maria Rainer while waiting on a plattform. Then fate comes rushing in and their stories get very unexpected turns. In this modern story Georg is the brother of Liesl, Friedrich, Louisa, Brigitta, Kurt, Marta and Gretl.

Georg reflects on some of the moments he has shared with Maria while climbing/standing on stairs! (Because, you know, doors in one story, stairs in another!). Set on his wedding day, Georg's thoughts go catapulting back to key moments in his relationship with his wife-to-be.
