"Open your eyes…"
A bright light shined brightly in her eyes.
"Open your eyes… wake up, Weiss!"
Water started to drain from Weiss's half naked body, where she was simply in some snow white boxers and a bra.
"Uuungh…"
Weiss sat up from the chamber she had been sleeping in. She rubbed her eyes and let out a yawn as she moved her legs and climbed out of it…
…And fell face first onto the cold hard ground.
"OOOOMPH!" She grunted as she looked behind her. She let out an annoyed grunt and smacked her legs a few times, where her legs felt tingly.
She slowly stood up, using the chamber as a support with her legs wobbling. She slowly walked, using the walls as support before she made her way to a pedestal that was grabbing her attention.
As she got close, a hatch opened up as a device of some kind appeared in front of her. "What…?"
"That is a Sheikah Slate. Take it. It will help guide you after your long slumber."
Weiss picked it up, curiously tilting her head as she put it on her hip, right as the door opened up. Light poured into her eyes as she covered her eyes for a few moments before they adjusted. She slowly approached the light… unaware that there were a few treasure chests nearby.
She was made aware of them the moment her pinky toe made contact with one of them.
"Mmmph!" Weiss whimpered, pulling away from her throbbing toe and then noticed the chests. "...Oh." She sheepishly blushed as she opened the first treasure chest, which was an ordinary light blue dress shirt.
The other chest contained gray sweats.
She put them on, feeling more comfortable as she walked off ahead, proceeding to climb a small ledge before making her way outside, the light blinding her once more but she grew accustomed to it within a few moments.
She slowly approached an edge of a cliff, overlooking the vast land in front of her. She even looked on to see Death Mountain in the distance, yet she had no idea where she was, let alone wondering why the volcano was active.

Her nose was immediately greeted by the smell of food. She turned her head to see two people camping out next to a campfire. She would also see some fried fish next to the fire. Her stomach rumbled.
Weiss walked over to the campsite, picking up a tree branch in the process. She studied the tree branch and gave it a good swing.
Perfect for protecting herself against flies or mosquitoes… or the occasional pesky bee.
She kept approaching, also finding a few mushrooms for herself as she made it to the campsite. She noticed that the people in question seemed old and both had hoodies over their heads. They seemed to be asleep.
A part of her didn't want to steal from them.
…But that cooked fish looked miiiighty tasty.
She slowly reached for the cooked salmon.
"I beg your pardon!" The old man spoke up.
"Ack!"
"Are you trying to steal from us? You lousy thief!"
"I'm so sorry, I was just hungry and-"
The old man laughed. "Relax! I'm just pulling your leg."
Weiss breathed a sigh of relief.
"Do you have a name, young one?" The old man asked.
"I… I only know my first name, unfortunately. I don't remember much though. It's… Weiss, I think."
The old woman's eyes widened through her hoodie while the old man let out a soft "hmm".
"I see… and are you from around here?" The old woman asked as she regained her composure.
"Um… I woke up in a cave, I guess. Not sure where I'm at."
"Ah, you are in the Great Plateau. Not every day someone lives in a cave in Hyrule…" The old man mused.
"I… suppose not. So um-"
"Go ahead and eat. You look hungry."
"Thank you." Weiss nodded as she began to eat the fish, where she devoured it within seconds and she even devoured an apple that was next to the fire, throwing the core behind her when she finished.
"Aww… I was saving the apple for later…" The old man pouted.
"Sorry about that." Weiss said.
"No no, you're good." The old man said. "Why don't you go take a look around the Great Plateau? Mind the monsters, though. There seem to be quite a few around here."
"I think I can take care of myself." Weiss said, holding the tree branch up high.
The old woman blinked. "...Weiss, that's a stick."
"It could prove useful." She said and walked off… only to spot an axe inside of a stump. She blinked… before tossing the tree branch behind her and picked it up, strapping it to her back and walked off.
"...After all this time. She's awake…" The old woman said, her voice cracking.
The old man put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Indeed… but let us wait before we reveal ourselves. For now, we will simply guide her along until the time is right."
"Right…"
Weiss continued along the trail with a soft hum, then spotted a weapon on a grassy platform surrounded by water. She curiously walked over to it, but noticed she had to dive for it. With a shrug, she dove into the water… unaware that she dove right into a lillypad ring.
The moment she surfaced…
"Yahaha!"
"Whoa!" Weiss yelped.
"You found me-... wait, you can see me?"
"Um… should I not?"
"Oh wow! Normally people don't see us at all! I was thinking Hestu would've found me."
"Hest-who?"
"If you can find him, give him this to me!" It proceeded to give her a Korok seed. "Buh-bye~!"
"Um… thank you…?" She swam to the platform and climbed up, looking at the Korok seed in question with a tilted head. She brought it close to her nose and gave it a sniff. She gagged, her face turning green as she tossed it behind her into the water and shuddered, where a bass proceeded to eat up the Korok Seed… only to spit it out in disgust.
"Gross…" She turned around and saw the weapon in question, seeing that it was a rusty broadsword. She pulled it out and curiously looked at it before equipping it on her hip.
"I think I can refurbish this somehow." Weiss said as she turned around and climbed up the cliff before turning her attention to a building.
"Ah, so that building's caught your attention, has it?" The old man approached. "This… is the Temple of Time. Or what's left of it."
"Temple of Time…?" Weiss wondered as she walked through the front doors, seeing that it was beyond repair with only a Hylia statue in the back. She walked through what was left of the place, quickly finding a treasure chest as she walked toward it and opened it up, finding a wooden bow, but no arrows.
With a shrug, Weiss strapped it to her shoulder and walked further along until she came face to face with the Hylia statue. She gently put her hand on it, closing her eyes… but no memory resurfaced.
She turned around and walked the other way until she made her way down a small hill, before finding a cliff edge. She looked down and saw two Bokoblins roasting meat over a pit of fire. She rubbed her chin before noticing an explosive barrel near her.
She then proceeded to push the barrel down the cliff… where it proceeded to tumble and slam down, exploding and sending the two Bokoblins flying before they slammed into the ground, dying upon impact.
Upon the explosion, a Bokoblin lookout jumped from the explosion and looked to the direction with a curious gaze. Two other Bokoblins peeked out from within their skull home, but they shrugged it off and went back to what they were doing.
Weiss smiled, fist pumping at her success as she turned her attention to the Bokoblin camp. She immediately pulled out her bow and was ready to nock an arrow and fire it… only to realize she was short on arrows.
"Hmm…" Weiss rubbed her chin in thought before glancing sideways. I wonder…
The Bokoblin shrugged and went back to what he was doing, looking out for potential troublemakers…
POW!
…What he didn't look out for was flying axes to the back of the head, courtesy of being launched by a wooden bow. The Bokoblin fell off his stand and fell over dead. A soft thud caught the other Bokoblin's attention from within the skull…
…But they didn't care so much.
"I didn't think that'd work." Weiss admitted to herself as she slid down and grabbed her axe, then turned to the skull base. She climbed up to see what was inside and saw two Bokoblins sitting and eating next to an explosive barrel where a treasure chest was near them.
Hmmm… She thought, and then noticed a lamp hanging over them. She smirked, and then nocked the axe into the bow and released, where the axe cut through the rope and the lantern fell right on top of the explosive barrel and exploded, annihilating the Bokoblins.
Weiss grinned, hopping inside and picking up a Boko Club for her troubles and put it on her left hip before climbing up to receive her prize… which were five fire arrows. With a nod, Weiss put them away and walked off.
At that moment, her Sheikah Slate went off as Weiss pulled it out to see what was making it sound the alarm. It proceeded to point her toward a rock formation as she tilted her head and then walked toward the rock formation.
The two old folks who were keeping an eye on her noticed the Sheikah Slate.
"That's the Sheikah Slate, alright…" The old man mused. "I was wondering if she had it."
"Have faith in her."
A Bokoblin spotted her and charged ahead at her. Weiss shifted her eyes as she unsheathed the rusty broadsword. The Bokoblin swung his club… only for Weiss to instinctively backflip, where everything fell in slow motion as she swiftly lunged forward and flurry rushed him to annihilate him.
"...Whoa. How did I do that?" She wondered to herself.
"Hmm, it seems as if her muscle memory is slowly returning as well." The old woman mused.
Weiss rubbed her head before shrugging it off, then walked to the rock formation where she surveyed the area before coming across a pedestal. She slowly approached it as it lit up, along with her Sheikah Slate. It was as if it was beckoning her to put the slate into the pedestal.
Weiss did so, backing up and wondered what it'd do… when suddenly, the whole area started to rumble. "Whoa!"
The entire plateau experienced the earthquake as suddenly, the rocks launched high into the air as the platform that Weiss was on rose up high into the air. She had quickly realized that the platform she was on was nothing more than a tower that she had activated.
Not only that, but she saw multiple towers rising up all over Hyrule.
"Okay… that was… something…"
"Weiss…"
Weiss perked up, recognizing the same voice that told her to wake up.
"Remember… try to remember…"
Weiss turned around, seeing Hyrule Castle in the distance with a light shining from it. Suddenly, a shadowy mist wrapped around the castle.
"You have been asleep for a hundred years…"
A shadowy beast emerged from the mist, representing a boar.
"The beast… when the beast regains its true power, this world will face its end…"
The bright light quelled the boar, making it disappear.
"Now then… you must hurry, Weiss…"
"I don't know who you are, but can you back up a little? WHAT DO YOU MEAN I WAS ASLEEP FOR A CENTURY?!" She yelled… but the voice didn't answer. "...Did I hear that correctly…?"
"Mumbling to yourself?"
"Ack!" Weiss yelped, turning around to see the two old folks approaching.
"You were yelling something about "asleep for a century"." The old woman said.
"Well… I heard this voice… and… I… I don't really know if I heard her correctly."
"Her?" The old man sounded intrigued before laughing it off. "Hahaha! Hearing voices, you say? Don't we all!" He chuckled. "What did the voice sound like, might I ask?"
"It sounded… innocent, hopeful… yet scared and possibly tired…? I'm not sure honestly."
The old folks glanced at each other and slowly nodded while Weiss looked down, confused as to what she had heard.
"Weiss, was it?" The old man spoke up. "There's something you ought to know."
"What is it?"
"When you activated this tower… have you seen some shrines around here?"
"Shrines?" Weiss wondered as the old man pointed to one of them that was nearby. "...Oh! Odd, that wasn't there before."
"It seems as if activating the towers also summoned them. How curious." The old man mused. "Perhaps you ought to give that one a try? It may hold some answers to your questions."
"Here's hoping…" Weiss nodded as she started to climb down, leaving the two alone.
"That girl is Hyrule's last hope." The man said. "Ruby cannot contain Calamity Ganon forever."
The old woman nodded. "I just hope her memories will resurface… of what she used to have."
"Let us hope for the best, then…"
