BGM: Mipha's Theme (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"So this is how it ends…" Mipha whispered as she was going against Waterblight. "No… I have to try!"
She quickly conjured up water to try and get away from an attack, but Waterblight swiped at her. "Aaaagh!" She cried as she was knocked to the ground, blood poured out of her body as her trident lay a few feet from her.
"I… I can't… give up… I… I have to… protect Hyrule… from the Calamity…!" Mipha slowly reached for her trident, unaware that she was already being locked on as Waterblight swung his spear down into Mipha's back to impale her… and then fired his laser immediately after.
Mipha opened her eyes. "That was what happened to me. I thought I had the upper hand… but Ganon was cunning, after all. I was ill prepared for what was within Vah Ruta… I put up a good fight, but unfortunately… it gained the upper hand and I was taken down."
"Do not blame yourself, Mipha." Dorephan said. "All of us had been unprepared for when Ganon made his move."
"Yes, cheer up, dear sister! All of us are okay!" Sidon pointed out. "It has been a long lonely century without you, but you had told me to put on a brave face should something happen to you."
"I did… didn't I?" Mipha nodded before frowning. "I apologize for placing a heavy burden on you…"
Sidon knelt down. "No need to apologize… you did what you could to try and protect Hyrule. That's all that mattered. C'mere!" He roped her into a hug as she returned the gesture, both of them smiling as they both sniffled as well.

BGM: Zora's Domain (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"Aww…" Weiss smiled.
"Oh… this is so…!" Neptune blew into a handkerchief.
"There there." Ilia patted him on the back.
"If I may…" Muzu approached Weiss. "I… deeply apologize for blaming you for Mipha perishing. We should have put the blame on Ganon, not a Lanayran."
"Oh? Mmm, it didn't really bother me all that much but… I do accept your apology."
Muzu smiled. "Nothing ever did seem to bother you back then…" He chuckled.
"Weiss!" Sidon approached her. "I thank you for saving my sister!" He said as he roped her into a hug as well, this time Weiss was prepared and moved her head in time to not be smothered.
"You're welcome." Weiss smiled.
"And as a matter of fact-" Sidon walked over to a chest and brought it over to Weiss. "We had made an exact replica of Mipha's weapon. It's not exactly as powerful as her weapon, but it should suffice!"
"Oh!" Weiss opened it up, pulling out the replica trident. "Thank you."
"You're welcome! Now, there's something cool you can do with this." Sidon said. "You see the Veiled Falls over there?" He pointed toward the falls. "If you swim up and jump off, then stab the trident into a pedestal… well, I can't say for sure what will happen. All Zoras do this every now and then… besides, it's just for fun!"
"Hmm… I might give it a try." Weiss nodded.
"Hey, by the way…" A voice said as Weiss turned to see Ilia. "Is there a way you can take us back home? Otherwise it'd be a long trip home and-"
Blake walked by. "Time to finally head back to Lurelin."
"Aaaaaaaand…" Ilia trailed off as she slowly stared at Blake, where she turned her head toward her.
"Hey." Blake greeted, giving her a "sup" nod as she walked off.
"H-H-H-H-Hi…" Ilia stammered, blushing a deep red. "Wh-what was her name?"
"Blake." Weiss responded.
"Blake… that… that's a good name for a pretty girl like her…" She blushed even deeper. "Did I just say that part out loud?"
"Yes, yes you did." Penny said. "...Are you okay? You seem to be running a fever."
"M-Me?! I-I'm perfectly fine! Oh goddess, I think I am running a fever… or not! I… I just need to go check on Paya to see if she's… okay… Weiss, please, help a girl out…!"
Weiss looked through her Sheikah Slate. "How do I take you back… do I hit your picture-" She touched Ilia's icon.
Send home?
"Oh." Weiss selected yes as Ilia was teleported back to her own home, and then did the same with Penny and Terrako.
"Would you look at that… that Ilia girl was smitten for Blake." Neptune chuckled.
"It is rather cute. Anyway, I ought to be going… see you around?"
"Sure!" Neptune nodded. "Just give me a call, cutie~"
"Still needs work."
"Aww…"
Weiss wandered over to the Veiled Falls, taking another look to see Mipha chatting amongst everyone, causing her to smile as she made it to the falls and walked up to the waterfall. She was still wearing the Zora armor so she was able to climb up the waterfall with ease.
As she breached, she looked down to see the pedestal that Sidon was talking about, so she used her Paraglider to gently descend… and when she was at a safe enough distance, she dropped down and impaled the pedestal with the Lightscale Trident, causing the pedestal to glow blue… and a shrine rose up from the ground.
"Oh!" Weiss said in surprise as she made her way over, activating the Shrine and walked in.
End BGM
"To you who sets foot in this shrine… I am Dagah Keek. By entering this place, you've already proven your worth."
Dagah Keek's Blessing
Weiss walked up to the treasure chest, pulling out a Silver Rupee for her troubles and then made her way to the shrine to collect her Spirit Orb.
Once she walked out, she heard Vah Ruta bellowing as she saw her standing on top of a mountain and aiming a red reticle directly toward Hyrule Castle.
"Wha…?" She wondered as she looked at her Sheikah Slate, noticing that Vah Ruta was added on the map. She tilted her head and proceeded to teleport to the location.
She teleported into Vah Ruta and saw Mipha standing outside, staring directly at Hyrule Castle. "What's going on? Didn't want Vah Ruta taking a bath anymore?" Weiss teased.
Mipha giggled. "No, I'm just preparing her for when Ganon is confronted."
"Aaaah, okay." Weiss nodded. "...Wait, is this thing loaded with a laser?"
"Yes."
"I dunno, I feel like firing a giant laser into Hyrule Castle might be completely overkill."
"On any other circumstance, yes… but Ganon was responsible for our deaths. Well, most of us."
"Good point." Weiss nodded. "I wish I could remember it all though."
Mipha put a hand on her back. "You will. It will take time."
"Yeah." Weiss nodded. "So, you gonna live up here or-"
"Oh, goodness no! I'll head back down and visit Zora's Domain. I've got about a hundred years' worth of hang outs, chats and hugs I need to spend on all the Zoras, my brother and my father."
"Fair enough." She giggle, causing Mipha to giggle with her.
"If you're ever in need of assistance, just call me and I'll be glad to help."
"Will do."
"By the way, Death Mountain is close by. Perhaps you ought to go save Daruk next."
"I don't know who Daruk is… but it sounds like he's a fun guy to be around."
"In more ways than one." Mipha giggled. "Although…" She turned to Death Mountain. "The volcano seems dreadfully active all of a sudden… probably would be best to be careful."
"I'll see what I can do." Weiss hopped off, using the Paraglider to hop off.
"Good luck, Weiss." Mipha said, watching her gently paraglide down. "Hmm… I wonder if the rumors were true that you actually did eat Prime Rock Roast with Daruk…"
Weiss gently landed on the ground. "Alright… I think I can make a U-Turn and see what's behind Zora's Domai-"
She paused, looking off the ravine to see a pedestal in the far distance. "That looks shrine-like…" She smiled and then glided her way down.
And on her way down, she started hearing music. "Hmm?" She wondered. "Is that… an accordion?"
BGM: Kass' Theme (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"Hmhmhmhmhm~"
Weiss landed on the ground and saw a Rito playing the accordion. She walked over to him out of curiosity.
"Excuse me!"
"Hmhmhmhm~"
"Helloooooo!"
"Hmhmhm~"
"YO!"

"Oh! Pardon me. I didn't think anyone was around." He said as he spotted the Slate on her hip. "Th-that thing… on your hip!" He said in surprise before shaking it off. "Ah, no… sorry, it's nothing. I didn't mean to pry."
"It's fine." Weiss said. "Who are you?"
"My name is Kass. As a bard, I spend my days traveling this land in search of ancient songs. Have you heard of the ancient songs of Hyrule?"
"Not that I know of…"
"These ancient songs… songs that sing the praises of a hero who beat back the Calamity in an age past. I know a song about this place. Would you like to hear the ancient verse passed down in this region?"
"Why not?" Weiss shrugged.
"Excellent! Without further ado-" Kass started to play his accordion.
"A beast that wears a crown of bone~ Prancing through the lush green~ Mount the beast upon its throne~ For only the shrine is seen~"
Kass stopped playing. "I suppose "the lush green" could refer to this place. But what sort of beast wears a "crown of bone"? There's definitely a secret hiding here, but it's beyond me. May the light illuminate your path… er… I'm sorry, I never got your name."
"Weiss Schnee."
"Weiss… the name sounds familiar, but I'm sure it's nothing." He said as he went back to playing.
Resume BGM
Weiss walked off, rubbing her chin in thought. "A crown of bone in a lush of green… what would be wearing a crown of bone?" She wondered as she proceeded to climb a tree to get a bird's eye view.
She looked through the Sheikah Slate, looking to see what would be wearing a crown of bone… and then, she saw a buck wandering around. "Could that be the crown of bone?" She wondered as she hopped down.
Okay, how does one approach a deer without startling it? She wondered as she slowly approached it.
At that moment, a small memory resurfaced on her head. "Mmmph!" She winced. "Head rush…" She whispered as she closed her eyes, slowly tuning out Kass's accordion.
End BGM
"Mirror~ Tell me something~ Tell me who's the loneliest of all~"
The buck twitched its ears and turned to the source of the singing. It curiously approached Weiss.
"Mirror~ Tell me something~ Tell me who's the loneliest of all~ Mirror~ What's inside me~? Tell me can a heart be turned-"
The buck was mere inches from Weiss's face, softly grunting before gently nuzzing her cheek with his snout.
"Oh!" Weiss said in surprise as the deer looked at her. She gently petting its snout before slowly getting up and mounting the beast, where the buck had allowed her to mount it.
She hadn't realized there were also a few curious birds on her shoulders.
"Alright, let's head to that pedest-... wait, where did you birds come from?" She wondered as she guided the buck over to the pedestal, and once activated… the shrine rose up.
However, the sudden noise was enough to startle the birds and deer, causing the latter to accidentally buck Weiss off of him. "Waaaah! OOOMPH!" She grunted as the deer ran off and the birds flew away.
"...Thanks for the help." She mumbled.
"Goodness me! A crown of bone referring to the antlers of a buck! Ingenious!" Kass said in awe as Weiss gathered herself up and walked over to the shrine.
BGM: Shrine (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"To you who sets foot in this shrine… I am Mezza Lo. In the name of the Goddess Hylia, I offer this trial."
Ancient Trifecta
Weiss approached the switch nearby, hitting it as it caused a platform to move around. She also noticed a metal block, which she used Magnesis on it… and caused a laser to be revealed and struck the laser, causing the platform to move to Weiss's location.
"...Hey." She got an idea and dropped the block, hopping on the platform and used Stasis on the laser, then deactivated it as quick as she could as the laser hit the switch again, causing it to move toward another platform with a metal chest, and once opened, she pulled out a Thunderblade.
"Ooooh!" She smiled and attached it to her back as she used Stasis to move her to a platform with a button on the ground. She walked over and pressed her foot, causing the door to the shrine to open up, but when she removed her foot, the door came back down.
Weiss had an idea, looking back at the metal treasure chest as she used her new water abilities to create an extendable water arm as it grabbed a hold of the chest as she brought it over and placed it down on the switch, then she used stasis on the laser and deactivated it once more, where the platform she was on moved toward the shrine where she walked in and collected her Spirit Orb.
End BGM
Once she walked out of the shrine, she noticed that Kass was no longer there. "Hmm, guess he moved on." She shrugged as she teleported back to the Veiled Falls and moved her way up the waterfall, climbing her way through the mountains and reaching the far end of Zora's Domain, seeing the Akkala Tower in the distance.
"That's where I need to go." She said as she jumped off and glided her way down as she landed on the road.
BGM: Field - Day (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
Weiss walked her way over through the bridge, keeping her eye on the tower, but then noticed a ruined fortress where it was residing. "Ooof… guess not even the best fortress survived." She said to herself as she got closer, only to find a destroyed bridge with several destroyed Guardians all around.
With a shrug, she proceeded to get some parts out of them and then decided to go around, proceeding to walk her way up the tower… but then she stopped as she a red light coming her way, forcing her to hide.
The red light got closer as Weiss would see who it belonged to. A Guardian Skywatcher.
"They fly now?!" Weiss exclaimed in disbelief as the Skywatcher flew by, patrolling the area, unaware of Weiss below it as it turned around and flew away.
"There's got to be a way around them…" She said as she looked up, then recalled her water magic as she propelled herself up and latched onto the rock wall, climbing up and hoping no Guardian would snipe her off the cliff.
She soon got to the top… and jawdropped at the massive amount of malice that was in front of her.
"You gotta be kidding me." Weiss muttered as she slowly approached, trying to figure out how to get her way to the tower… while also trying to breathe since the malice was making the air intoxicating.
It seems as if the malice influences the air no matter where… She thought as she walked around, pulling out her bow and sniping down any Bokoblin that got a bit too curious with her. She found an opening and climbed over the ruins, making sure she didn't touch the malice.
She climbed a wall and reached the top, only to feel a massive burning sensation on her hand. "Agh!" She yelped as she dropped, placing some ice on her hand. "What the hell just burned me…?" She wondered.
She climbed up a different part of the wall and then got up, noticing some hidden malice was on top. "Oh… so that's probably what got me…" She said to herself as she used some glyphs to make some platforms for her as she jumped on them and hopped off, grabbing the tower as she climbed her way up.
By the time she got there, she walked over to the pedestal and put the Sheikah Slate in, activating the tower and adding a new portion of the map onto her Slate.
Weiss grinned. "Alright~!" She smiled, taking it off. "Now to- AAAAH!" She screamed, seeing a decayed Guardian on the edge of the tower as she pointed her Thunderblade at it while readying her shield.
However, this Guardian was simply forever deceased.
Weiss sighed in relief. "Thanks for the heart attack…" She mumbled as she put her weapon away.
She looked around the tower, seeing a shrine with a nearby stable, and also another shrine that was also nearby that was near some lone island in the middle of a lake. She also noted a spiral in the sea.
"Okay, let's go to the stable first." Weiss said to herself and glided her way down, soon making it to the shrine in question and then walked right in after activating it.

BGM: Shrine
"To you who sets foot in this shrine… I am Ze Kasho. In the name of the Goddess Hylia, I offer this trial."
Ze Kasho Apparatus
Weiss approached a pedestal, seeing that it was the same one as the shrine back at Hateno. She put the Sheikah Slate in it and hoped that it would've been better.
She moved the platform around, moving the spikes around until it made a safe path for her to travel through. She removed the slate and walked across.
Okay, this isn't so bad… Weiss thought as she went into the next area that had a switch and several lasers shooting across the walls. She proceeded to hit the switch to make the platforms turn, blocking the lasers off.
"Perfe-" The platforms sunk back down into the ground again. "...Oh."
She hit the switch again and quickly ran across, and then slid at the last moment to avoid getting hit by the laser, just singing off a couple of strands of hair from her ponytail. "Phew…" She sighed in relief as she spotted a treasure chest and made a glyph to get herself up to it and pulled out a Silverscale Spear.
She hopped down and went into the third area, finding another motion controlled puzzle for her to use. She put the slate in and proceeded to try and guide the three orbs into the switches… emphasis on try.
Through trial and error (plus Weiss's patience running thin when one orb decided to join another of its brethren), all three switches were activated as the door opened up as Weiss walked through and collected her Spirit Orb.
"If I see another one of those things, it'd be too soon…" She mumbled.

Weiss walked out and then headed over to the stable.

"Hey hey!" Beedle waved her over. "Nice to see you again!"
"You're all over the place." Weiss teased.
"I'm a traveling merchant, it's what I do." Beedle chuckled. "So, need anything?"
"Oh, maybe some info, if you don't mind."
"Oh, sure. What do you need?"
"Do you… know anything about a Branwen Tribe?"
Beedle grimaced. "What do you know about it?"
"Nothing in particular… but the king of the Zoras briefly mentioned that the Branwen Tribe was wiped out by some monstrous Lynel. I was just curious about-"
Beedle put his hands over her mouth. "I'll tell you more later. Now's not a good time." He said, glancing over at Yang who was looking over her stuff real quick.
"Does it involve her?"
"It's… best if she wasn't around. It's nothing too shady, I promise… it's just that she was part of the Branwen Tribe."
"Was she there when the Lynel-"
Beedle nodded.
"Oh goddess…"
"As far as she knows, she's the only survivor. You can talk to her about it if you want… just don't expect a straight answer. What happened that day was… eventful, to put it lightly. I can fill you in on the rest."
"So based on when you stopped me, just mentioning Branwen Tribe would be traumatizing for her?"
"No, just hearing the word… L-Y-N-E-L."
"Ooooh, got you." Weiss looked behind Beedle to see Yang busily looking through her inventory. "I'll ask her later."
"Okay." Beedle nodded. "You need something else from me?"
"Nah, I'm good." Weiss reassured. "See you around."
"See ya!"
Weiss teleported back to the Akkala Tower.

"Okay, whatever that Silver Lion did, it probably traumatized the heck out of her. Poor girl…" Weiss said to herself as she looked toward the other shrine and glided her way over, landing just a few yards away after gliding over part of Lake Akkala.
"Let's see what's in here." She said as she activated the Shrine and walked in.
"To you who sets foot in this shrine… I am Dah Hesho. In the name of the Goddess Hylia, I offer this combat trial."
A Minor Test of Strength
"Another combat trial? Alright then." Weiss nodded as she walked forward as a Guardian Scout came up, wielding an Ancient Battle Axe… only it was completely destroyed when Weiss curiously used her water magic to pierce through the Guardian, wrapped it around in a watery sphere and crushing it, dropping the axe.
"Huh… I didn't think that'd work." She admitted as she picked up the axe and headed over to the chest in the other room to pick up a Giant Ancient Core. She raised an eyebrow, tilting her head before walking up to the shrine.
Resume Field - Day BGM
"Alright, to the spiral." She said as she took off toward the beach, but as she got closer, she spotted some ruins on the way by and approached them, then saw an orb lying on the ground. "Huh?" She wondered as she got close to it, then read the sign.
"Only a hero bearing this ancient orb shall be granted the right of trial on Rist Peninsula."
"Huh, okay." Weiss picked it up, having a good feeling that that she'd have to deliver it at the end of the spiral, but as she got closer, she spotted a Moblin camp and up ahead, she saw several Lizalfos patrolling the area or swimming in the water.
Weiss rubbed her chin before having an idea and putting her hand in the water, causing the calm waters to start to move rapidly, causing waves before creating a massive tidal wave to wash away everything, drowning the Moblins.
The Lizalfos didn't drown, but they were definitely surprised by the massive tidal wave and were pushed into the beach to daze the hell out of them.
Weiss picked up the orb and used the water to make platforms to glide her way toward the end of the spiral. She hopped down feeling quite mentally exhausted. "Hooo… I think I used up a ton of magic with that tidal wave…"
She placed the orb in the pedestal as the shrine rose up from the ground as she walked into it.
"To you who sets foot in this shrine… I am Ritaag Zumo. By entering this place, you've already proven your worth."
Ritaag Zumo's Blessing
Weiss walked up to the chest, finding herself a Giant Ancient Core and then walked up to collect her Spirit orb, and at the same time, feeling her magic replenishing itself to boot.
Weiss walked back out and proceeded to swim her way toward the beach while the Lizalfos were groaning in a daze as Weiss climbed up the mountain as soon as she surfaced on the beach.
She then walked up the path and saw another stable up ahead, while her Sheikah Slate activated, warning her of a shrine nearby as she turned to see the shrine and walked over toward it with a grin on her face.

"Now what am I supposed to-" She immediately saw the motion control pedestal. "...Oh come on!" She groaned before sighing. "Okay… it doesn't seem that bad." She said as she put it in, noticing she only had to hit the ball into the hole with a large sledgehammer.
…Only problem was, it was moved by a motion controlled tablet.
The first swing, it was hard enough to send the orb flying and overshot it. Weiss corrected herself right as the ball respawned… causing the sledgehammer to hit it from up front and sent it to the back.
"What?! No! No! Not like that!" She said as she tried to readjust the orb, making the hammer dance around drunkenly, not hitting the orb all together until she managed to get it… and it rolled off the edge.
Once it readjusted, Weiss went for a simple soft hit… only to whiff it to the right. "No, that's not what I-"
She corrected herself… only to send the orb flying off the edge toward her. Her eye twitched as the ball materalized.
"You know what. No."
She pulled her Sheikah Slate away, put it on her hip and made her way toward the platform via glyph. She then made several glyphs to act as walls as she shot a torrent of water into the orb and sent it straight for the hole, activating it as platforms rose up.
"Good!" She walked over to the shrine… but noticed another room where she walked in… and saw the layout of the second puzzle, completely curved and possibly more hideous to get through.
She turned her head to a lone treasure chest on a platform that could be reached if she hit the ball into the hole… or simply using glyphs to make her way across and pulled out a Great Frostblade for her troubles.
She then turned around and collected the Spirit Orb.

"That was way too soon." Weiss grumbled as she made her way to the stable.

"Well, hey, fancy seeing you here!" A voice said as Weiss saw Roman Torchwick approaching.
"Oh… Torchwick, right?"
"The one and only! Would you like to buy something from me?"
"I've heard the stories from Yang."
"Aaaah… but I'm not trying to rip you off. I just got some rarer valuables!"
"Okay… what are you selling for me?"
"Well… I had just found this sword at some ruins recently. Turns out it was from some kind of tribe that no longer exists." He explained as he pulled out a red sword. "Has the name "Omen" written on it."
"How much?"
"Eh, I'd say… five hundred Rupees."
Weiss pulled out some ore. "How much you willing to pay for a few of these?"
"Ooooh!"
Roman and Weiss traded from each other, with the latter now wielding the red katana. "Pleasure doing business with you!"
"Hey, by the way, where's the ice cream girl?" Weiss asked.
"Ah, she's taking a nap inside the stable." Roman responded. "Oh, and by the way…" He pointed off in the distance. "You seem like the adventurous type… I've heard from the vine that there's some sort of spring over there. I tried to take a look but it was crawling with flying Guardians."
"I'll see what's over there. Though I'm not going to expect you to pay me for it."

"Hahahaha! You're definitely a smart one." He chuckled as Weiss wandered over to see the spring for herself, while also knocking down some Bokoblins riding on horses.
She saw the Guardian Skywatchers patrolling the area, but she walked a little further and saw a hole in the ground. She curiously walked over and hopped down, finding a spring with a Goddess Statue in the middle.
"Oh!" She said in surprise as she looked around. "...Wait a minute…"
She narrowed her eyes, pulling out her Sheikah Slate to see the very same location in one of the pictures. She looked around, before suddenly gasping.
Ruby was seen standing in the water in front of the Hylia Statue, wearing some white garments while Weiss was standing guard.
"I come seeking help… regarding this power that has been handed down over time… prayer that will awaken my power to seal Ganon away… or so I've been told all my life…"
BGM: Link's Memories - Slumbering Power (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
Ruby sighed, looking down. "And yet… grandma heard them… the voices from the spirit realm… and mom said her own power would develop within me. But… I don't hear or… feel anything! Dad has told me time and time again… he always says: "Quit wasting your time playing at being a mechanic! Stop making weapons for everyone!"."
She growled. "Damn you…" She threw her fists down into the water in frustration. "I've spent every day of my life dedicated to praying!" Her voice started to crack. "I've pleaded to the spirits tied to the ancient gods… and still the holy powers have proven deaf to my devotion."
She looked down, hugging herself as tears swelled in her eyes.
"Please just tell me… what is it…?"
Weiss slowly turned around with worry on her face.
"What's wrong with me?!"
"Ruby…" Weiss whispered, slowly reaching out to her.
End BGM
Weiss snapped back to the present, noticing her hand was reaching out towards nothing. She felt something crawling down her cheek as she pressed her hand against it, seeing it was her own tear.
"Huh…?" She wondered as she rubbed her eyes and approached the goddess statue, the name "Spring of Power" echoed in her head. "Hey, um… Spring of Power statue? Was there… something wrong with Princess Ruby?"
The statue said nothing.
"...Right. I'm talking to a statue." She mumbled as she turned around.
"...Scale…"
"Huh?" Weiss turned around toward the statue. "Did you say something?"
"Bring me… a scale of Dinraal. I will offer you great power once you bring a Scale of Dinraal to me."
"Riiiiight… Dinraal. Quick question. WHO?!"
"You will know when you see him."
"...Thank you for being vague." Weiss snarked as she started to climb out of the spring.
"You're welcome."
Weiss turned back to the statue, giving it a dirty look before climbing out. "Okay… I think I saw a building at the top of this hill." She said and walked her way over to the top… although she would immediately come into contact with a decayed Guardian that lit up and aimed directly at her.
Weiss turned her head, quickly pulling out her shield as she readied herself. Once the Guardian prepared to fire the laser, Weiss parried the laser back with her Hylian Shield, smacking it back toward the Guardian, causing it to explode shortly after.
"Ha! You got nothing on me!" Weiss taunted as she picked up the spare parts and made her way up, finding a sign.
Akkala Ancient Laboratory
"Oh, so like Purah's?" Weiss wondered as she knocked on the door, to which it crept open. "Oh… uh…"
She peeked inside. "Um, excuse me…? The door just opened by itself-"
"Who are you?" A small man asked, approaching her.
"Um, I'm Weiss-"
"Weiss? Never met her befo-" He noticed the Sheikah Slate on her hip. "Egad, that thing on your hip… are you the actual Weiss Schnee?"
"Yeah…?"
"Hmmm… prove it then! Prove to me that the real Weiss Schnee is standing before me!"
"Um… I'm standing right here."
"Ha! Show me your scars. Take off all of your clothes!"
"All of my-... you perv!"
"Good point. Lift up just your shirt then!"
Weiss slowly lifted up her Zora armor. Thank goodness I'm wearing a bra. She thought.
"Hmm… yes… those are the same scars I've seen before putting you into the Shrine of Resurrection… which means you are the real Weiss Schnee… which means…"
He started to laugh. "HAHA~! THE SHRINE OF RESURRECTION WAS A SUCCESS!" He yelled, doing a pose.
*Sudden epic guitar riff!*

Weiss sweatdropped. "Uh… yeeeeah… what was that nois-"
"Never mind that! It's so good to see you again, young lady! Do you remember me?"
"Nooooo?"
"Ah, right… I am Purah's assistant. Robbie! I am sure you met Purah?"
"Yeah, and she's tiny."
"Tiny, is she? My word, she's actually done it… the absolute madwoman… ah, but never mind that. We got work to do! That robot you see over there? Her name's Cherry… and my wife just went on her merry way to get her back up and running-"
At that moment, Cherry lit up.
"Just now!" Robbie said as Jerrin walked in.
"Phew, it wasn't easy with those monsters, but it's done!" Jerrin said. "Oh, and who's this?"
"Weiss Schnee, the same one who was taken to the Shrine of Resurrection."
"The very same?!"
"Yup!" Robbie nodded. "Heck, now that Cherry's up and running, we can get things started!" He immediately walked over to it and proceeded to make something, and then pulled out a suit of armor. "Ta-dah! The Ancient Set! With this, you can be seriously protected from those Guardians. Try it out!"
"Okay…?" Weiss nodded as she changed clothing.
"How does it feel?"
"...I feel and look ridiculous."
"Ah, but you can see out of the helm, can't you?"
"Well, yeah-"
"Then it is worth it! Here, I even made some Ancient Arrows for you, perfect to getting yourself out of a jam. Oh, and have this Ancient Crossbow. It's better than wasting time loading up arrows with a regular bow!"
"Thank… you?"
"By the way… there is something you ought to see." Robbie walked off, and then came back with a journal. "I feel it is time to give you this. It's something important."
"What's this?" Weiss wondered, taking the journal and reading the title.
Whitley's Research Notes
"Whitley…?"
"You probably don't remember your own brother, but he became a researcher alongside me and Purah, deciphering everything he could about the ancient Sheikah technology. However… well… perhaps a trip down memory lane reading all of these notes will suffice."
"Okay…"
"And… come with me." Robbie walked outside with Weiss following him as he walked toward a cliff, pointing toward a labyrinth. "Over there is the Lomei Labyrinth Island. I strongly recommend you visit the place… in fact, go there first and then read the research notes. You'll understand everything once you do."
"What's over there?"
"A hidden surprise waiting to come out. It may be the key to help destroy Ganon for good."
"Okay." Weiss nodded as she took a running start and jumped off, gliding her way toward the island.
"Good luck, Weiss… it's gonna be a bumpy one for you."
End BGM
As Weiss got closer to the island, her Sheikah Slate started to go off. Not that she blamed it… there was a shrine in the labyrinth. But she was also curious as to why Robbie was adamant on making her go here first.
Weiss landed on the ground shortly after.
"You who have reached this point… proceed onward through the maze, and you will receive a reward."
"Okay." Weiss nodded. "Now let's-"
She immediately saw a Guardian Stalker waking up as it aimed right at her.
BGM: Guardian (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"Bring it on!" Weiss said as she started running toward the Guardian as it did the same thing… and once they were halfway, the Guardian fired but Weiss instinctively used her Hylian Shield to parry the attack, striking the Guardian head on.
Weiss smirked, only for the Guardian to get out of its daze and glared at Weiss. The heroine readied herself again, knowing how to fight against these things. The Guardian readied to fire and Weiss swung her shield… only the Guardian faked her out and shot her while she was exposed.
"Gragh!" Weiss yelped as she was knocked back. She was thankful that the set that she was wearing lessened the blow from the Guardian's laser.
…Didn't mean that it still didn't hurt like hell.
"Uuungh…" Weiss groaned as the Guardian put its clawed leg on top of her to pin her down. It let out a few motorized noises, as if it was tauntingly chuckling at her and readied to fire again.
Weiss remembered Robbie mentioning Ancient Arrows would be helpful in a pinch. She quickly put one into the crossbow and fired directly at the eye, which was enough to destabilize the Guardian and made it fall limp, exploding.
"Whoa…" She whispered as she saw a reticle on her arm as she looked up to see a Guardian Skywatcher aiming at her… only she fired another Ancient Arrow at the eye, which made it fall over and exploded the moment it hit the ground.
Another Skywatcher had just turned the corner to join in, but the moment it saw Weiss oneshotting it's friend, it sweatdropped and quickly flew away in a panic.

BGM: Labyrinth (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"Wow, these things pack a punch. I like it~!" Weiss smiled as she got up, collecting the spare parts and then started to walk around the maze, feeling her way around while her Sheikah Slate kept screaming at her over the Shrine being nearby.
"I know! I know! I'll get there!" Weiss said in exasperation as she found some treasure chests along the way.
A sapphire, some ancient parts, a Royal Broadsword, Bomb Arrows, a Silver Rupee, the works.
Weiss would soon climb up a few ladders until she eventually came into contact with the shrine, which resulted in the Sheikah Slate quieting down.
"I need to find a way to mute that thing." Weiss said as she walked inside the Shrine.
"To you who sets foot in this shrine… I am Tu Ka'loh. By entering this place, you've already proven your worth."
Tu Ka'loh's Blessing
Weiss walked up to the treasure chest… and pulled out a Barbarian Helm that made her give it a weird look. "What in the world…? Do I look like a Barbarian to you?" She wondered as she put it away and collected her Spirit Orb.
As she walked out, she noticed a hole in the ground that had opened up, wind blowing out of it. She hopped down, using her Glider every once in a while to slow her descent before she landed on the ground, coming across a Guardian graveyard.
She spotted a chest in the middle of the room as she walked over toward it and opened it up, revealing a Diamond Circlet.
"Pretty!" Her eyes sparkled as she tried to put it on, but the Ancient Helm prevented her from doing so. "Oh. Right."
She took the Helm off and put the circlet on her head. "There we go~!"
End BGM
At that moment, some of the Guardians awakened and all aimed directly at Weiss. "Huh?" She turned to see them all aiming at her. "Ooooh, this is gonna be brutal…" She grimaced as she readied herself.
Suddenly, lasers struck the hostile Guardians, blowing them all up.
"What the…?" She wondered as she turned to the source, seeing a green Guardian laying dormant nearby. "Fighting amongst themselves?" She wondered as she approached the green Guardian cautiously as the Guardian looked at her.
"Uh… you a friendly…? Because if not, I got an Ancient Arrow with your name on it."
The Guardian moved its head, the lens turning bright blue as it fired into the ground, creating a glowing blue AI.
"Hello Weiss." He greeted.
"Who…?" Weiss wondered before a flashback entered her head.
"Are you sure this is a good idea, Whitley?" Weiss asked.
"I'm not interested in fighting like the whole family is." Whitley responded. "Mother, father, you… Winter… I'm just not the type to be fighting monsters. I've already talked with our parents."
"I get that, fighting isn't for everyone but… can't you do your research here? You'd be close by and-"
"I want to know more about the Guardians. I want to research what makes them tick. What makes them… well, technologically advanced. I want to know everything about them. If I stay here, I won't be able to see the world for myself from a research standpoint."
"I… guess that makes sense." Weiss nodded. "Just… promise me one thing."
"And what's that?"
"Come back home to us often. I want to listen to your findings in person."
Whitley smiled. "I was already planning on that." He said, giving his sister a hug. "Love you."
"Love you too." Weiss softly said as Whitley turned around and walked off, waving goodbye.
Weiss gasped, smiling. "Whitley… Whitley, you're-" She went to hug him, but her whole body went through him. "-Alive…? Huh?" She backed up and waved her whole arm around.
"How are you?" He casually asked.
"M-Me?! What about-" She kept phasing through Whitley. "How are you doing this, bro?!"
"I'm afraid I'm not your brother. In his likeness, I am. But ultimately…" He gestured toward the Guardian. "I am but his creation."
"Well… where's the real Whitley then?! I need to know that he's-"
"Gone."
Weiss's eyes widened.
BGM: Growing Sorrow (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)
"I am all that's left."
"...No…" Weiss whispered, her voice cracking. "There's-"
"He left a recording however. Directed toward to you, Weiss."
"Huh?"
The AI waved his hand, showing a screen covered in static before revealing a tattered Whitley.
"Whitley…!"
"To whoever finds this recording, I am Whitley Schnee, a Guardian Technology researcher, and I'm sorry. We tried to stop the Calamity, but we were too late… There's still time to make things right, however. I've set this Battle Guardian to split its parts across the three labyrinths across Hyrule. One in Akkala, one in the Tabantha Tundra in Hebra, and one at the Gerudo Desert. Whoever you are, you have to find them! They hold a key in fixing this, all of this! It's our best shot against Ganon after our time!"
Whitley ducked as an explosion went off behind him.
"Mother… Father… I wish we could have been together in my final moments. Winter… I'm sorry for being weak. You were always the mature one among the three of us. I envy your tenacity."
Debris fell around him as Whitley got teary eyed.
"Weiss… you're the best among the three of us, Winter knows it too! I was planning on making a surprise visit for the whole family. You, me, Winter, Mom, Dad… I wanted us to be together even for a moment. I wanted to hear stories about you and your time as Princess Ruby's guard. I pray you both to survive."
The room rumbled as a wall crumbled, revealing the smoky skies in the whole as a Guardian's eye lights up.
"If you're out there… Find the pieces, anything you need! You're our only hope!"
He slammed his fist on a button right as the Guardian fired a laser into the room, destroying everything in the room.
The screen turned to static.
"Whitley…" Tears formed in her eyes, reaching toward the screen.
"Ending playback."
The AI dissipated the screen… and Weiss fell on her knees.
A shout out to Lost who came up with that ending scene with the AI Whitley and the real deal toward the end.
