It's New Years Eve. Arnold and Helga are helping Stella decorating for the party.
„You're doing very good!", Stella said.
„Thanks. We're trying hard! Will be for sure a great party!", Helga said.
„Would you be so sweet and preparing the fingerfood, Arnold?!", Stella asked.
„Sure, Mom!", Arnold answered.
„My little starred chef!", Helga swooned.
„But your cooking skills are not bad either!", Arnold said to Helga.
„Thanks. Becourse Miriam have made Lunch not very often, i had to learn how to feed myself!", Helga said and sighed sadly.
„Oh no! I'm sorry!", Arnold said, „I don't wanted to reopen old wounds!"
He hugged Helga.
„Too late, Football Head!", she said.
Stella looked said at the two kids and said: „Everything okay with you two?"
Arnold teared up and sunk onto his kees.
Helgas furious countenance turned into a sad one.
„Arnold, what's up with you suddenly?", she asked.
„I'm so sorry, Helga! Please don't hate me!", he cried.
Now helga was very worried about him. To make him cry was not her intention.
„Oh Arnold!", she said, „I never could hate you, because i'm loving you too much for it!"
She hugged and kissed him and he became calmer.
„I also love you with all of my heart! That's the reason i'm so afraid to loose you! I could not imagine a life without you anymore!", Arnold said to her with tears in his eyes.
„You don't need to imagine that, because i will never let you alone ever, i promise! You are everything for me!", Helga said to Arnold and kissed him tenderly on his mouth.
Stella saw and heard it. She smiled and some tears flowed down her cheeks.
