Trust

Many things can be ruined or destroyed
One of the most damaging is Trust
When you lose or steal a persons Trust
There is little left more than blowing Dust

I destroyed ones Trust in me
I did not do it out of lust or Greed
I was cast aside like waste
It was not my fault I Plead

I wanted to love
I wanted to be loved in Return
To share, honor, feel and love
Their Trust I wanted to Earn

It shattered me inside
To feel that Trust was Gone
How could this happen
With the love I wanted to Spawn

To protect, help and assist
I would never their Trust Betray
To keep dignity, pride, honor and respect
