Hello everyone, First time being here. I hope you enjoy this story here, and if you have any ideas for improvements please leave them in the comments, thank you!

As some might have figured out by now, this story starts right after the Episode "Welcome to Heaven", and I will be taking my own spin on how the story will go on from this point out. Spoilers, I will be using Semi-OC's, as they do not exist in Hazbin Hotel, but are not mine, since they will be biblical characters (e.g. Michael, the Archangel). If any one has problems with this, you have to know that you can stop reading at any time, as I'm not forcing you to read this.

To say that Emily was furious was an understatement. After the Trial, if you could call it that, she stormed off to the Garden of Eden to vent some anger. Contrary to everyone's beliefs, by this day it is exclusively accessible for high- ranking angels.

The Garden of Eden was truly a magnificent place. Everywhere you looked you could see flowers of many different kinds, and all the trees were sporting different kinds of fruits. Animals around here were also tame, which meant that you could pet them as much as you wanted.

Emily was not sure who she was angry with more. On one hand, there was Adam, who, despite being a human soul, pitched the whole idea of the extermination, while also leading it, killing thousands of sinners.

On the other hand, there was Sera, who not only condoned this action, but also kept her and the rest of heaven in the dark about the extermination. "Why did she think that it was a good idea?" Emily asked herself, while walking aimlessly through the garden.

Soon enough, Emily found herself in front of one peculiar tree, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Seeing this tree, she was starting to think of hell and its ruler, Lucifer Morningstar. While Sera never talked much about her fallen brother, she sometimes warned her by not asking too much, or else she might end up like him.

"If hell is really such a bad place, how is it that kind people like Charlie are born down there?" She thought out aloud. She did jump when she got an answer from behind "what seems to be troubling you, young Seraphim?"

Behind her, Michael, Archangel and General of Gods Angelic Army, was walking up to her side. "It seems unlike you to be so frustrated; would you like to share your load?" he asked while studying her frustrated face.

Despite what everyone believes, the Group of exterminators lead by Adam are not part of the heavenly army, rather they are a group of angels which hunt for sports. The heavenly army was sporting way more equipment, and they also employed shields and body armor, which the Exterminators did not.

"It is nothing Michael, I was just thinking about the trial today", Emily said only telling him half of her burden.

"You mean the one for Samael's daughter, Charlie was it right?" he enquired. Despite Lucifers Fall, he never really hated his twin brother. Sure, he was hot headed and... let's say passionate about his idea for all of humankind to have a free will and knowledge, but he was still family.

"Yeah, she showed us her plans on how to fight against the overpopulation in hell, by redeeming the sinners and letting them be judged again, but not only was that idea shut down by Sera, but I also learned that Adam," She spat the name as it was poison, "goes down every year to kill the sinners!"

Michael sighed and motioned for Emily to sit down, while seating himself next to her. "I can see how you are so frustrated, as we angels are supposed to guide the souls of mortals and not kill them. If I must be honest, Samael's and Charlie's idea is a noble pursuit. A little foolish, yes, but noble nonetheless."

"Say Michael" Emily asked. "Mhmm?" He responded looking over to her.

"What exactly was it that got Lucifer into Hell?" she asked. "All I ever got to know that if I asked to many questions, I would end up like him, but no one ever tells me what he did."

Michael thought for a bit before saying "Lucifer, or Samael as I like to call him, was always very passionate about his work. Back when we were still young, he would spend hours in his little workshop, tinkering on many different contraptions. As a matter of fact, he was the one who created the All-seeing Globe, the sphere in the courtroom."

"One day, when I and him were patrolling over this very garden, we saw Adam with his first wife, Lilith, arguing over her behavior towards him. Adam wanted nothing less than total control over Lilith's life. Samael, as the hothead he is, rushed in between them and stopped the fight they had, but our dear father thought of Lilith as a failed creation, so he cast her beneath the earth, into hell."

"Samael objected to this banishment but was quickly shut down and warned by our beloved father. After this, Father created the first female human, Eve."

"I always thought that Lilith was the first human female?" Emily was confused.

"Lilith was less a human being and more of angelic Origins." Michael clarified. "When God created Eve, he made her obedient to Adam and only Adam. While this was enough to stop regular Angels from turning her against Adam, we higher ranking Archangel and Seraphim still had some a small amount of power over her."

"Samael started to talk to Eve, and after some time, he slowly started to gain her trust. One day, he finally asked her if she wanted to live her life like she was doing right now. When she said she was unsure, he brought her to this very spot we stand at today" Michael motioned around him.

"Eve took the apple and ate it, and in doing so, she realized that Adam was a monster. Unfortunately, Father was informed of this action by Adam, and so he banished Samael to Hell, while the Seraphim decided that he must watch over the damned souls of his creation."

Emily was shocked "So Lucifer was kicked out because he gave humanity free will?! That is not fair, how could they do this?"

"I do not know, Emily, but if you ask me, he did not deserve this fate. I tried to make Father see reason, but he would not listen."

Emily was shell-shocked. Heaven kicked out one of their own and took in a monster like Adam. She got up and walked out of the garden, in search of Sera, so she could ask her about Lucifer.
