EMIYA in Paradise Part I
EMIYA
I stared at disbelief at my summoner. The identity who had summoned me didn't faze me normally as Rin Tohsaka regardless of the timeline summoned me as a Servant, quick often the Archer-class or sometimes another class entirely, but none of the Rin Tohsakas' encountered was like the one before me.
The taller height and extra bust did raise my brows as that additions were uncommon amongst the Rins I have encountered.
It was her attire and composure that baffled me. She was dressed like a samurai or high-ranked Japanese noble in traditional Feudal-era battlegear. Her eyes oozed calmness and conviction of which likes made her seem ready to wage war and come out victorious.
The closest thing I knew to this version of Rin Tohsaka was one where a Rin had been born as Luvia Edelfelt's twin and enjoyed the same wealthy noble upbringing. Yet, even that Rin couldn't match how prepared and resolved for battle my current summoner was.
The grandiose hall that I had been summoned into was a pleasing development as I had gotten bored of the common sight of crashing through the roof of the Tohsaka Manor upon the Fuyuki Fifth Holy Grail War.
I battered no attention to the amount of wealth used to decorate the hallway. Wealth was something that had no meaning to me as such luxurious displays of money didn't save you from being killed.
What did catch my attention besides how different my summoner was from her many counterparts was the others in the room. I counted 235 people with my superhuman vision, capable of seeing tens of kilometers away with perfect clarity. Another interesting discovery was that these people all had some resemblance to Rin, suggesting that they were all related to her. That was something I've never seen before. The most people I have seen with any Rin Tohsaka were her immediate family, her father, mother and a Sakura Tohsaka that hadn't been given away to the Matou family.
"Welcome, esteemed defender of mankind! The ever-vigilant protector that ensures our continued existence regardless of foes made. We are grateful for your eternal service and sacrifice as a Counter Guardian. Please enjoy a token of our gratitude." Rin shouted in a respectful tone, and her kinsmen repeated her words.
Very few things ever shocked me anymore as I had seen so many things that would have shattered a lesser man's resolve in my never-ending existence as a Counter Guardian. It was rare, but I had been thanked for my sacrifice a couple of times, but never my so many people at once and such zealous manner. The traditional Japanese attire, decoration, food and manner was the cheer on top. The fact I was treated something like a Kami blew my mind.
"Please Counter Guardian, what do you wish tonight? If you so desire I can warm your bed."
I nearly stumbled backwards from what I was hearing. Of all the Rins I have ever met, they hadn't been this bold to offer their bod…
My ears perked as I had a familiar gasp. Silver eyes rotated and I found a very anger Shirou glaring at me murderously for reasons I had never encountered before.
Kanshou and Bakuya appeared in Shirou's hand and he charged towards me while shouting, "Don't you dare EM-"
"Oh, no, Shirou!" shouted another familiar voice and I was so stunned that my head found themselves buried between breasts. "You must have suffered so much! Let your sister mentally counsel you. I cannot allow you to have a mental breakdown when you are performing your Counter Guardian duties."
It was an interesting, and something that I would forever remember, to see Shirou being knocked aside as he was an unimportant person by someone who is treated as one of his most precious people.
"Taiga-san, I am more suitable for acting as a mental counsellor. Many clansmen and retainers have sought me for that very purpose for a reason." Rin shouted as she attempted to pry my head from Taiga's cleavage.
"No this Counter Guardian is mine. He is my brother!"
"No, he's mine! This esteemed guest is the future version of my lover!"
I glanced to the side and not to far away from me, the standing Shirou looked like he was being stabbed by every word leaving Taiga's and Rin's mouths. It seemed I might have been summoned into paradise to witness my non-Counter Guardian counterpart's sufferings.
"Well this is a nice change," I muttered before Taiga's and Rin's fight over me took up another notch.
