The Girl Who Fell From The Sky

She layed in an alley...scattered about with glass and tossed around junk...

Her hair draped behind her...long and spread out shimmering in the light whimmering like the light of the moon. Her eyes struggled weakly to pull apart from each other... stuck together with the burn of morning smog and crusts from sleepy eyes...

They were hard to see at first... but once opened, her eyes twinkled and shined like starlight.

"Hey...are...you okay?"

A young boy's voice sounded thought the morning sounds of industry, drawing her eyes over to see who spoke. He looked to be no more that 14...

He wore raggedy clothes and a yellow beanie hat to help maintain the wild Ginger hair he had curled past his shoulders.

"Easy does it, okay..." he said softly as he hurried to her side and helped her sit up, "You've been laying here a while...I wasn't sure it was safe to move you." he stated, "I checked your vitals to make sure you were okay...and I was relieved to see that you were." he hummed softly, "But you stayed out cold for a while...I hung out to see if you would wake up at all...I'm glad that you did."

"I'm sorry...but..." her voice chimed out softly, her eyes gazing him over, "...Who are you?"

"Oh sorry!" he apologized, "I guess it's a little weird for some random kid to watch you sleep huh?" he gulped, "My name is Rally Dawson." he stated, "And I swear...I just wanted to help." he grunted as he helped pull her up and dust off her stained dress.

"I'm real glad you're okay..." he said softly,'What happened to you anyway?" he wondered, "You weren't jumped by thugs, were you?" he wondered, "You don't really look like you were robbed...but..."

"I'm...not really sure what happened." she said softly, "I...can't really remember much..."

"You...can't remember?" Rally blinked, "Well...that doesn't really sound good at all." he stated softly, "You must have hit your head really hard or something...hmmm..." he hummed nervously, "Well...what about your name?" he blinked curiously, "Do you remember that?"

The woman's eyes narrowed half lidded and she sighed shaking her head softly.

"I'm sorry...but...I'm afraid I don't..."

"Oh wow- you don't even remember your own name?" the boy gasped with his eyes wide with shock, "Well that's DEFINITELY not good...not good at all!" he groaned as he folded his arms over his chest to try and ponder the next step to take...

"You don't know what happened to you...and you can't remember who you are..." the boy groaned and sighed, "This isn't good...not good at all...I think maybe you have Amnesia or something...you think?"

She wasn't sure how to respond to that...

Mostly because...she just didn't know the answer to it.

But it seemed likely...since she really couldn't remember much of anything else...

"Well...let's start small." Rally hums, "This is Satellite." he stated, "It used to be called Domino City once upon a time." he chuckled as his eyes gazed awkwardly trying to piece out what to do next when they caught a glimpse of a contraption on the young woman's wrist.

"Hey...What's that?" The boy blinked curiously as he noticed a contraption on the young woman's wrist...

"Is that... a Duel Disk?"

"A Duel Disk...?" she blinked curiously as she studies the device on her arm, "Well...yes...I suppose it is..." she said softly as her eyes scanned the machine and the deck in its slot.

Could it be she was in a Duel before...?

'That's perfect!" said Rally.

"What is?" she questions curiously.

"Every Duelist's true nature usually comes out in a duel, right?" said Rally, " So maybe we can find out who you are...by dueling!" the boy beamed. He seemed really excited by this thought process...

The logic made little to no sense to her...

But what did she really know in this state?

"Oh...but I don't have my dek right now..." he said softly, "It's gotten pretty risky for Sattelites to carry their decks on them...they could have them confiscated if they're not careful." he stated, "So just wait here, okay!" he grinned, "I'll go get my deck and we can duel...maybe that will jog some memories, okay!?"

And in a matter of seconds, the boy was gone...dashing off in his excitement leaving her alone and stunned in an unfamiliar place...
