She wandered around the alley...
Careful not to go too far- Rally was pretty adamant about her staying here to wait for him. It was dank...dusty...
Glass shimmered across the concrete and trash and scattered junk lined the walls of the abandoned building she was lodged between.
"Thanks for waiting for me!" Rally beamed, nearly out of breath as he returned to her...
He must have run back...
"All right then..." said Rally as he set up his Duel Disk- "Let's joggle some memories!"

"DUEL!"

"I guess I will go first then..." she said softly.
The mechanics seemed simple enough.
Draw Cards...
Decide what to play...
And End the turn.
She didn't fully recognize the cards in her hand...but they had texts that listed their stats and abilities...
Reading was something she could manage.
And oddly enough...though she may not recognize anything...somehow...
It seemed that she did.
"I guess I'll start with summoning Dark Valkyria...in attack mode."
Dark Valkyria

"Next...I'll lay three cards face down...and end my turn." she stated.
"Okay...not bad for your first move." said Rally, "Not bad at all...but now...it's my turn!" the boy grinned as he drew his card, "And I'll summon X-Head Canon!"
X-Head Canon
ATK: 1800
DEF: 1500
"Our monsters are equal...so this should defend me for now..." he hummed, "Next I'll also lay a face down and end my turn!"
"Right..." she said softly, "I'll summon Twin-Barrel Dragon..." she said softly, "And with it's effect If I flip two heads...I can destroy a card on your field."
"Uh-Oh..." Rally Gulped, "Here's hoping luck is on my side..."
Unfortunately for her...it was.
"Well...worth a shot." Rally chuckled, "But my monster can destory yours, so hopefully you have a back up plan."
"I do." she said softly flipping over a trap card, "This trap card...Reinforcements...grants 500 points of attack to a monster for this battle phase." she stated, "And I think I will use it on Barrel Dragon- to make up for the effect that failed."
"Awe man..." Rally groaned, "Good thing I have Waboku!" He grinned.
"Awe man..." She pouted softly, "So my attack is negated then..." she sighed and looked through her hand, "I guess I will have to end my turn then..." she sighed, "Your turn..."
"Don't worry though!" said Rally, "You're doing great!" he drew, "Hmm...But I think I'll go ahead with my attack-"
"And I will go ahead with this trap then?" she said softly flipping over one of her face downs, "Security Orb...it allows me to change the position of your monster." she explained, moving Rally's canon from attack mode to defense mode.
"Oof...nice move...well then I guess I'll end my turn by setting another monster in defense mode for now."
It was her turn to draw...
"For my turn...I will tribute two monsters...in order to summon The Creator in attack mode!"
The Creator

DEF: 3000
"Oh wow...he looks tough." Rally gulps.
"He is...with an interesting ability too." she said, "I can special summon a monster from my grave...by discarding a card from my hand." she said, "So with his Ability I will also bring back Dark Valkyria." she said "And now I will go on the attack."
Both of Rally's defending monsters were destroyed...
"And I'll end my turn with that."
"Nicely done!" Rally beamed as he drew, "Hmm...man...I'm gonna have to defend." he said placing another monster face down, "I'll end my turn with a face down! Your turn, stranger!"
"It's my turn then...I draw." she saiid, studying the card in her hand, "I will place one card face down...and attack!"
But he had another Waboku so the attack didn't go through.
She had to end her turn...and he ended his, after laying a defensive monster and another face down.
"I'll also set a monster." she said softly, "Now...let's try this attack again-"
This time it was successful... Though she still couldn't hit his life points...this time.
"I summon Ganex Controller in attack mode!" declared Rally, "And with it I'll attack your face down monster!"
"The monster you've attacked is Mecha Bunny," she staed, "When this card is flipped, 400 points of damage will be done to you..." she said, "And also...if this card is destroyed...I can special summon another one from my deck."
"Ahh!"

"It's my turn now..." she stated, "And I'll start by summoning Jutte Fighter." she said, "With this card, Once per turn, I can change the position of your monster." she hummed, "And now I'll flip over Mecha Bunny."
"Ahhh Rats!" Rally grumbled as he took another hit of 500 points.
"Now I have the means to synchro summon..." she explained, "So by tuning my Jutte Fighter, level 2 and Dark Valkyria- level 4- I can now Syncchro summon Gaia Knight Force Fo Earth!"
Gaia Knight Force Of Earth
ATK: 2600
DEF: 800
"Oof Now he's a heavy hitter..." Rally gulped.
"That's not all either...with the trap card Birthright- I can bring back a normal monster from my grave to my field, And While Dark Valkyria is a Gemini monster...it is treated as a normal monster- so it counts."
"Oh I'm in trouble..." Rally Gulped.
"It seems you are..." she smiled, "Thank you for this opportunity...but I'm afraid I must end this now."
"Awww MAN!" Rally whined as his life points dropped to zero from her attack barrage...falling to his knees with a heavy sigh.
"Wow..." he chuckled softly, "You're seriously good...like REALLY good! Unbelievable!" he laughed softly.
This behaivior was a little odd for her...but she didn't mind it...in fact, she appreciated such a bright and pleasant personality.
"So...What do you think?" He asked warmly, "Did Dueling bring back any memories?"
"You know...I believe it did..." she said softly as she helped the boy up from the ground, "While I still can't say I really feel connection to these cards I used..." she said, "But...I do remember one thing..." she smiled, "My name... is Hoskiko Mirai."
