Getting in was a simple enough task thanks to Blister's desguises and forged IDs. Yusei and Akarii waltzed in raising no suspicion creeping around corners as he studied the blueprints and the map of the places we needed to hit.
"As someone who's more experienced with this sort of thing than I am...I'm counting on you, Akarii."
She could feel her body twitch as she recalled the last time Yusei said those words to her...
"I'm counting on you Akarii..."
As he held me close in a warm embrace.
That was just before Kalin got taken away...
"...A Horrible idea, really." She sighed.
As time passed by more memories became clearer to her...and she remembered Kalin.
She remembered him so well because he reminded her of...
Kai...
But then...he lost his mind...
And got taken away...
And just like Kai...we haven't seen him since.
"I wouldn't rely on me too much." she said softly"I'm not used to pulling something like this off without Crow around so I'm about as nervous as you are."
"Don't tell me you're nervous... because then I might get nervous." he stated,"And it will be no good if we're both nervous."
"Well...first thing's first." she stated,"We need to find the Control Room and unlock the card vault...that's where our decks will be." she stated.
The card vault was an area she was more than familiar with. "Once we do that I can take the lead from there."
"...Got it." said Yusei.
They had to move carefully now.
Any mistakes in here and they would be thrown right back into the Detention Center.

"All right, I'm in." Yusei said as he fingered away on the Control Room's computer system.
"Awesome!" Akarii stated,"Yusei, You rock!" she grinned,"I am a woman of many talents...however computers are not one of them."
"Yeah neither is mechanics." he smirked.
"That's not true!" she huffed," I can totally fix a duel runner!"
"Suuure of course! All it takes is knowing which-a-ma-call it goes into the whatsa-ma-jigger."
She puffed her cheeks and pouted stubbornly while Yusei gave her his innocent smile.
Anyone who says Yusei doesn't tease anyone clearly doesn't know him well enough.
Of course, it takes having spent a lot of time with him, to pull out his playful side.
"Let's get going." she stated,"We have less than 3 minutes to make it to the vault."
"Right behind you."
So far so good.
They had retrieved their decks.
Now all that was left to do was to make it to where they were holding their duel runners without raising any suspicion.
And that was going to be hard enough to do, especially since the initial plan once they have their Runners is to run them right out of there.
"My Baby~!" Akarii beamed once she had her Duel Runner back in her sights with her Rose red glory.
"Be quiet Akarii." said Yusei,"You're gonna get us caught again..."
"Too late for that!" A bellowing voice sounded from above.
"Oh no!" Akarii cried out.
"Dammit it's Trudge!" Yusei growled.
"Go figure the two of you are still getting in trouble together~!" Trudge huffed,"And Akarii, I figured you would have learned your lesson after what happened to your own brother 10 years ago..."
"You shut your mouth!" she growled.
Officer Trudge.
She remmbered him vaguely.
While he may not have been the reason himself for what happened to Kai...he certainly knew about it. Then again there wasn't really anyone who didn't. Trudge was a regular as Akarii and her friends grew up.
More so with Yusei whenever they were caught breaking curfew.
Of course, this was a time before Arcadia...
I'll have to deal with that baggage on my own time...
She thought to herself.
"I thought you Satellite punks would try something like this..." Trudge laughed,"So I waited for you right here!" he smirked,"Sorry to have interrupted your little joy ride...but I hear you broke out of the Detention Center..."
"We didn't break out of nothing!" Akarii huffed.
"That's right, Trudge! We were released!"
"Oh really now?" he laughed,"Well I think after this little stunt you won't be released again for a really long time!"
There was no doubt about that...
This stunt alone is considered a felony.
"I guess you're right..." Akarii sighed,"We will get thrown back into the Detention Center..." she blinked,"...If we're caught~" she smirked.
"What!?"
"Yusei! Let's ride!"
"You sound like Crow when you talk like that!" Yusei laughed as he hopped his runner and she did the same.
"Well what can I say~" she shrugged,"When you live with the guy for so many years...he kinda rubs off on ya!"
"Haha...Come on then." Yusei beamed,"Let's revv it up!"
"Hey, you punks!" Trudge huffed.
"You won't be able to catch both of us Trudge!" Yusei scoffed.
"Not only will he not be able to catch both of us.."Akarii smirked,"He isn't gonna succeed in catching either one of us!"
"That's what you think!" Trudge huffed as he took off running toward his own Duel Runner he had hidden.
"Prove me wrong~!" Akarii smirked as she started her engine and took off like a bullet,"YeeeeeeAHAH~!"
"HaHaHa!" Yusei's laugh could be heard as he took off in another direction after her, no doubtedly though they were both heading to the same place.
His face appeared before her on the video monitor screen.
"How about we make this a race, Akarii?"
"Bring it on! You know I never refuse a race!" she smirked,"Still though, I wonder how he was able to find us so quickly...we were so careful!"
Just then there was interference with a third video feed. This transmission belonging to Officer Trudge.
"You can thank your markers for that!" he scoffed,"You only partially jammed it! So it was like catching fish in a barrel!" he laughed,"Everything in these storage units belongs to New Domino City!" he huffed,"Thieves like you will be punished! It will be back to the detention Center for both of you!"
"Yeah, just try it, Trudge!" Yusei challenged.
"That's right...you'll have to catch us first~" Akarii smirked.
"Get back here, you punks!"
