It was like every other day in the port city of Melen. Ships were coming and going carrying cargo and people from far and exotic lands. The traders peddling goods on the streets and in the square were hawking their wares in the hopes of attracting a buyer.

The sound of metal striking filled the air as blacksmiths and craftsmen worked to fix broken fishing spears and ships damaged by the rough seas.

"Ahhh another glorious day..." Njord smiled basking in the sun as he inspected the mornings catch.

"Hmmm there seems to be less then I expected?" He thought to himself with a curious look on his face.

"Njord is something the matter?" asked a young fisherman in his early twenties as he carried a bucket of fish.

"No..." He said rubbing his chin. "Have the others gotten on yet?"

The young man shook his head and replied. "No, not yet. There are a few more yet to return."

Njord rubbed the back of his head. "Which team?"

"I'm not sure it might have been the third but I don't know for certain." The young man replied.

"Alright go on ahead and take care of those that did come in." Njord headed to the Docks inspecting all the boats. One was particularly damaged and the crew was severely injured.

"What happened?" Njord asked as he approached.

The crewman who seemed to be in charge tried to sit up but winced in pain.

"Ahhh I don't know. Monsters appeared out of nowhere..." He winced in pain clutching his arm.

Njord almost didnt believe them thinking they might have been drinking hard the night before and getting Into fight. But as he noticed the scratches and scars on the ship and men he knew they weren't lying.

'That shouldn't be possible... The leviathan seal should ward of any monster in that area...'

He thought to himself as he helped the injured man.

"Take him to a healer and get this ship repaired. We'll need it again in the coming days."

The crewman nodded and slowly moved the injured man off the ship.

"Get me Rod tell him to get our strongest I fear something has happened to the seal!"

The crewman nodded and yelled for Rod.

"Yo whats up sir?" Rod said several men at his back. The black haired man knew his god wasn't the type to gather people unless it was serious.

"We need to inspect the seal... monsters have been sighted in thr area. If somethings happened we need to know now before it gets any worse."

The man nodded and looked behind him. "You heard him boys were going hunting!" He yelled with a smile.

Njord joined them on the ship as they headed out.

"Something isn't right." Njord said rubbing his head.

"What do you mean?" Asked Rod.

"This is the first time in nearly a decade that the seal has let this man monsters nearby.. " they had been killing the random monster that dared come close.

"Okay that should be most of them let's find out what's going on..."

They all dived beneath the waves following the few markers left by Zeus and Hera to find the seal.

As they approached Njord had an uneasy feeling which only got worse as they neared it.

'Somethings not right...' He narrowed his eyes only to look on in horror. 'Shit...'

...

They surfaced "Ahhhh quickly get us back to shore!" He yelled.

"Why what's going on?" One of the ship hands asked as the men rowed furiously back to shore.

"The seal it's..." He looked to Njord. "I need to get back to Melen and speak to Murdock!" He yelled as he swam back to shore.

The crewman looked at each other then to Rod. "Let's move it!" He yelled.

When they finally arrived back Njord looked to his men. Halt any ships going out! Go!"

He ran to the city hall nearly busting down the doors.

An old large muscular man sat at his desk with papers scattered about. He combed his long beard as he shot his eyes up at the unexpected visitor.

"Whats wrong Njord? I'm not interested in any of your guys drunken antics today." The man said in a gruff tone.

Njord sighed as he shook his head. "No please you need to contact the guild it's..."

The man sighed. "There are adventurers in town I'm sure if you need assistance they can be of..."

"The seals been destroyed!" He shouted. Suddenly an eary silence fell over the hall. Two assistance looked to Murdock who nodded. "Contact the guild!"

...

"What do you mean it's destroyed?" The man asked clearly upset.

"I'm not sure what happened but the seal was broken!" Njord said trying to explain.

The man rubbed his temple. "Details Njord. Its not something that just breaks?!"

Njord nodded and explained. "It looked like it was just shattered. Piece were all over the place but..."

"But? What about the leviathan remains?"

Njord shook his head. "Gone. Completely gone. I know its strange but that's what happened."

The man sat there rubbing his beard thinking. "Ughh I just hope the guild takes this seriously..."

He stood up. "Keep the general public out the water. If the dungeon is one to the outside it won't belong before monsters reach the shore!"

"Also if they haven't already get the guards to start evacuating the civilians!"

"Gods protect us all."

...

Meanwhile at the guilds man hub in Orario. Royman groaned. "Ughh what dose that insufferable Murdock want now? He does now there is a guild branch in Melen right?!"

Eina nodded. "Y-Yes sir but this came from the melen branch sir. They said they require additional support."

The half elf stepped back seeing the fat elfs face twist into a scowl.

"What could they possibly have to deal with that requires this level of request. I mean Loki or Freya familia Haa don't make me laugh!"

Eina flicked through the report. "It says...Ohhhh..." She said as she covered her mouth.

Royman looked up from his desk. "What spit it out already?"

"It says that the Leviathan seal has been destroyed!"

Royman's eyes went wide. "W-what how is that possible?!"

Eina shook her head. "It doesn't say, the only thing it does mention is that several monsters have already started to appear in the waters surrounding Melen."

Royman sighed and nodded. "Fine, fine. Tell Loki I want them to take a team and head to Melen and see whats going on. If the seal really is destroyed then we'll need to put together a proper expedition.

"Yes sir right away!" Eina nodded and hurried out.

"I hope this is just a massive joke!" He said with his hands in his head.

...

Loki looked at Eina and frowned. "So whats this I hear about Melen?"

"Its seems the leviathan seal has been destroyed and monsters are appearing in the surrounding waters."

Finn rubbed his chin. "But that's seal was made with the remains of the leviathan... even broken surely the remains would still ward off monsters?"

"Well that's what they want you to find out..." Eina looked down. "Please be safe... "

Finn nodded and stood. "We will."

"Alright you lot get your stuff were heading out!"

"Awww I don't want to go back to that city..." Aiz muttered as she feared the idea of even stepping foot near the water.

Loki rolled her eyes. "Ughhh fine stay here. We shouldn't need everyone. Finn, take Tione, Tiona and Bete."

Finn nodded. "Right let's move out."

...

Meanwhile at the hostess. A certain familia was celebrating their expedition in the dungeon.

"Bell!" Lili cried as she grabbed his arm. "Stop ignoring us..."

Bell rubbed the back of his head. "S-sorry I guess I'm still a little tired..."

Lili frowned but noticed his attention was focused elsewhere. She knew who it was. A certain elf waitress.

Hestia pulled his cheek. "Eyes front Bell!" She pouted pushing her breasts into his arm.

He blushed but smiled. "Sorry."

Bells eyes drifted back to Ryuu. He had been worried about her since the events on the 37th floor and with the juggernaut. But more then that the two of them had been getting much closer

He smiled as he thought of how she would laugh and smile when they trained together. However recently they hadn't had chance to talk to one another and the odd looks they kept giving each other only solidified that point.

'I should try and talk to her...' He thought to himself.

Though he was finding it difficult with Lili and Heatia both trying to keep him from talking to her.

"Come on Bell..." Lili said in a whiny voice. "Let's go home we can eat more food at home and I know you want to rest after the expedition."

"Umm master Bell." Haruhime said shyly.

He turned to the fox girl and smiled. "Yes Haruhime what is it?"

She blushed. "I-I was wondering if you'd like to read something together when we get back to the mansion?"

Lili and Hestia turned their attention to the fox. "Ohhh no you don't they pounced on her. Releasing Bell from there grasp as they punished the fox's suggestion.

Bell blushed as Haruhime smiled and winked moving her head towards Ryuu.

'Ohhhh thank you!' He mouthed as he stood up. "Umm I'll be right back." He said excusing himself.

Bell stood up and headed over to Ryuu.

The elf waited until he was close. Before turning to face him "H-Hello Bell...' she smiled trying hard not to blush despite everything she couldn't help it.

Bell smiled as he rubbed the back of his head. "Hey..." He said as he stared into her blue eyes.

The two stared at one another for what felt like hours before the silence was broken. "Soo I was wondering if you'd like to meet up tomorrow?" He asked nervously.

Ryuu smiled and nodded. "Y-yes I would love to. I finish work at noon maybe we could train afterwards?"

Bell grinned and nodded. "Yes that sounds great" He laughed nervously as the two began talking more naturally. Syr pouting off to one side as she cleaned tables.

As the night came to a close and everyone returned to their beds. The peace of the night seemed like it would never end. Little did any of them no. A ancient threat had awoken beneath the seas.

...

Within deepest depths of the ocean hidden within the darkest of trenches. A beast of legend slumbered though as if awaking from a bad dream two large red eyes pierced the darkness and the very currents shifted around it as it began to move.

Its jaws opened revealing rows of razor sharp teeth which cut through the water devouring a large shoal of fish that passed in an instant. "It's time I remind the fools of this world who commands the seas!" The creature began unraveling its huge body as it began coiling around nearby rocks and coral formations its fins and tail slicing and smashing anything they touched.

It raised its head once more letting out an ear piercing roar that echoed through the waves shaking the surrounding area and scaring off every aquatic lifeform for miles. "First that pathetic little village! Then Orario itself!"

Its eyes looked up past the darkness to the dimmest of lights above. "All shall be swallowed by the rising sea, and I leviathan shall finish what I started!"
