Chapter 379: Rematch! Dante vs Irene
"Where the hell am I" asked Dante to himself as he looked around in confusion. One moment Dante was fighting alongside Wendy and Sherria and then the next moment everything was enveloped in a bright light. After the bright light faded, Dante found that he was in an entirely different location than he just was. Looking around Dante didn't see anyone in his general area, he was completely alone.
"What the hell was that just now? Was it the enemies magic" asked Dante to himself, hardly believing that someone possessed that level of magical power. As Dante pondered what happened and where he was, he suddenly felt a familiar surge of magical power. Looking in the direction of the magical power he just felt, Dante started to speak.
"That's Mira" stated Dante in a worried tone as he channeled his magical power and transformed into his Agnel Soul Gabriel form before he continued to speak.
"The magical power Mira is using is huge, she must be using her Alegria form" stated Dante in a worried tone thinking that Mira must be in a lot of danger to be forced to use her most powerful form. Spreading his wings wide, Dante continued to speak.
"Hold on Mira, I'm coming" shouted Dante in a worried tone before he took flight.
Flying high into the air, Dante soared through the skies as he made his way towards where he could feel Mira's magical power. After a short while Dante flew over the area that Mira was fighting, and he became more worried when he saw who she was facing. Dante could see that Mira was back in her normal form, she must have already exhausted herself. With her being in just her normal form, Mira was quickly bound to a pillar where Irene started to torture her with magic. Hearing Mira's screams of pain caused a surge of strength and anger to flow through Dante as he flew towards Irene.
"What's wrong little girl? Can't you fight back" asked Irene in a mocking tone as she continued to torture Mira. Just after Irene said these words, Dante crashed his fist into Irene as he shouted.
"DON'T TOUCH HER" yelled Dante in an angry tone as his fist collied with Irene, sending her stumbling backwards before she righted herself. Turning around, Dante quickly used his magic to blast apart the pillar that Mira was bound to before catching her in his arms.
"Are you okay Mira" asked Dante with concern in his voice as he held Mira in his arms. Smiling weakly at her big brother and husband, Mira started to speak.
"A little hurt but yah I'm fine Dante now that you are here" responded Mira in a grateful tone. Smiling warmly at his little sister and wife, Dante started to speak.
"You were great Mira, leave the rest to me" responded Dante with a warm smile before he leaned forward and placed a short and loving kiss on Mira's sweet lips. After leaning back from her brother's lips, Mira smiled at him as she started to speak.
"Okay, and Dante" asked Mira in a sweet tone. Smiling at his lovely sister and wife, Dante started to speak.
"What Mira" asked Dante with a warm smile. Giving Dante her signature sweet smile, Mira started to speak.
"Kick her ass" responded Mira in a playful tone. While Mira was worried about Irene's immense magical strength, she knew that her big brother would do anything to protect her. Smiling at his little sister, Dante placed another short and loving kiss on her lips before he leaned back from Mira as he started to speak.
"You got it sis" responded Dante with a confident smile before he let Mira down before he stood up and faced Irene. Irene flashed Dante an amused smile as she started to speak.
"So the rumors I've heard about you are true. You really are in a relationship with your own sister" stated Irene in an amused tone before she continued to speak.
"How naughty of you two. Don't you feel any shame at all for fucking your own sister" asked Irene in an amused tone. Smiling back at Irene, Dante channeled his magical power as he started to speak.
"Not at all, and it's sisters not just sister" responded Dante with a smile before he used his channeled magical power to transform into his Lucifer form. Spreading his midnight black wings wide, Dante continued to speak.
"Now are we going to talk about my sexy sisters all day or are we going to fight? I've been itching for a rematch" stated Dante in a confident tone. Amused at Dante's words, Irene started to speak.
"So the little man wants a rematch? Trust me, this won't be much of a match" responded Irene in an amused tone. Smiling back at Irene as he radiated dark and holy energy, Dante started to speak.
"I couldn't agree more, this will be over soon" responded Dante in a confident tone as he prepared himself for battle. After Dante said these words he took off high into the air and pointed his hand towards Irene. Pointing his hand towards Irene, Dante shot a beam of dark and holy energy towards her. Irene smiled at the attack being fired towards her, with a simple gesture with her staff the attack vanished. Smiling at Dante, Irene started to speak.
"This form is certainly stronger than the one you previously used against me, but you will have to try a lot harder if you want to beat me" stated Irene in an amused tone.
"I'm just getting started" yelled Dante in response before he fired multiple beams of dark and holy energy towards Irene. While his multiple attacks fired towards Irene, Dante used his enhanced speed to fly quickly towards her. Again with a simple swipe of her staff, the beams of energy vanished, but those were not the entirety of her problems. Flying towards Irene, Dante charged his fist with dark energy as he shouted his next attack.
"Hellish Fist" yelled Dante, aiming his charged fist towards Irene. Smiling at Dante, Irene used her staff to block the punch. The impact from the block could be felt by Irene, who flashed Dante an amused smile as she started to speak.
"That's a bit bitter but still not nearly enough" responded Irene in an amused tone before she released a strong surge of magical power that pushed Dante backwards. Hovering in the sky, Dante started to speak.
"You are going to regret asking for more" yelled Dante as he drew more power from his Lucifer form. Drawing more power from his Lucifer form, Dante could start to feel the effects on his personality. Dante would have preferred it if Mira didn't see his darker side, but he would push himself if it meant protecting her. Summoning more of his magical power, Dante shouted his next attack.
"Rain of Ruination" shouted Dante, a storm of dark beams erupting from his body. Irene was still not intimidated by Dante's attack; Irene used her magic to form a spherical barrier around her. Dante's attacks were strong but not strong enough to break the barrier that Irene had conjured. Smiling at Dante, Irene started to speak.
"I'm still waiting for when you are actually going to give me a challenge" shouted Irene in a mocking tone. Drawing more magical power from his Lucifer form, Dante felt his personality darken as he started to speak.
"I'm going to destroy you" shouted Dante in an angry tone as he felt a powerful surge of dark energy fill him before he shouted his next attack. Flying towards the barrier, Dante charged his fist with dark energy as he shouted.
"Hellish Fist Barrage" yelled Dante as he crashed his fist into Irene's barrier. Crashing his fist into Irene's barrier, Dante felt a strong surge of power as he continued to speak.
"I'm going to wipe that smirk right off your face" yelled Dante in a dark tone as he continued to slam his charged fist into Irene's barrier. As Dante continued to pummel Irene's barrier, Irene smiled as she started to speak.
"Come on you can do better than that" responded Irene in a mocking tone, watching as her barrier held strong against Dante's attack. Smiling darkly at Irene, Dante drew even more power from his Lucifer form as he started to speak.
"I'LL SHOW YOU BETTER" yelled Dante in a dark and sinister tone, his power reaching even greater heights as he continued attack Irene's barrier. Soon Irene's smirk faded as she felt the massive increase in Dante's magical power, her barrier beginning to crack as Dante continued to speak.
"When I get through that barrier I'm going to kill you" shouted Dante in an angry tone, venom in his voice as he continued to pummel Irene's barrier. Larger cracks formed in Irene's barrier as Irene started to speak.
"You really have this much power" asked Irene in a shocked tone as she watched her barrier form even bigger cracks under Dante's assault. While Irene was still confident that she was far stronger than Dante, she was shocked that he had this level of magical power and it seemed to only be increasing. Feeling even more dark power surge through him, Dante had a sinister look on his face as he started to speak.
"I'm going to kill you and I promise it won't be a quick death" shouted Dante in a dark tone as he continued his relentless assault.
"When I'm done with you, you will be begging for death and only then will I end your suffering" shouted Dante in a dark tone, his magical power reaching his greatest heights yet as Irene's barrier threatened to break at any moment. With a fist charged with a dense amount of dark energy, Dante slammed it into Irene's barrier as he continued to shout.
"I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU WISH YOU WERE NEVER BORN" yelled Dante as his fist crashed into Irene's barrier, shattering it. When Irene's barrier fell apart, Dante crashed his fist into Irene's gut and sent her tumbling backwards. Steadying herself, Irene smiled at Dante as she started to speak.
"I see you have a darkness within you. Do you want to test your darkness against mine" asked Irene in an amused tone. Radiating dark power, Dante smiled at Irene as he started to speak.
"I'm going to destroy you" responded Dante in a dark tone, Lucifer's influence making him want to actually kill Irene instead of simply beat her. Just as Dante was about to jump back into battle, Irene gave a pouting look as she started to speak.
"Unfortunately, our fun has come to an end it seems" responded Irene, giving Dante a fake pouting look. Giving Irene a curious look, Dante started to speak.
"What do you mean? Don't tell me your scared" responded Dante. Smiling at Dante, Irene started to speak.
"Scared? No, I wasn't scared a bit. In truth seeing your inner darkness excited me but it seems duty calls" responded Irene as the wizard Dante knew was August walked up beside Irene.
"Irene our emperor has requested our presence" stated August. Nodding her head in understanding, Irene started to speak.
"Very well, let's go" responded Irene in a disappointed tone since she wanted to play with Dante a bit more. As Irene and August started to leave, Dante shouted after them.
"I'M NOT DONE WITH YOU YET" yelled Dante in an angry tone, dark power pouring out from his body. Turning around, August gave Dante an unamused expression as he started to speak.
"But we are done with you boy. You have much bigger things to worry about" responded August in an unamused tone. After August said these words he aimed a powerful beam of magical energy to Dante's amusement.
"What the hell are you aiming at" asked Dante in an amused tone before he realized that August want aimed for him. Turning around Dante's anger faded away as it was instantly replaced by horror. Dante watched August's attack shoot through a defenseless Mira as she feel to the ground with her gaping wound. Irene and August had already left but Dante didn't pay them any mind, his focus entirely on his mortally wounded little sister and wife. The horror that filled Dante caused him to lose his focus and he reverted back to his normal form as he rushed over to Mira's side.
"MIRA" yelled Dante, hoping that something could be done as he rushed over to Mira's side, he couldn't lose her.
