Chapter 380: I Can't Lose You
"MIRA" yelled Dante, horror filling him as he watched Mira fall to the ground with a serious wound. Rushing over to Mira, Dante prayed that he could do something. Stopping next to Mira, Dante dropped down to his knees as he continued to speak.
"Mira! Please be okay" stated Dante in a worried tone, hoping that he wasn't too late. Inspecting the wound, Dante felt more worry fill him. The wound was bad, and checking Mira's pulse Dante could hardly feel it. Panicking a bit since he wasn't a trained healer, Dante looked around as he shouted.
"SOMEONE HELP" yelled Dante in a panicked tone before he turned his attention back towards Mira. Seeing the gaping wound on Mira, Dante tore off a strip of his shirt to use as a makeshift bandage. Wrapping the makeshift bandage around Mira, Dante hoped it would slow the awful bleeding. As Dante tried to think about what he could do, he heard Lisanna's voice behind him.
"Mira! Dante is Mira okay" asked Lisanna in a worried tone, dropping to her knees beside Dante. Turning his attention towards Lisanna, Dante started to speak.
"I don't know Lisanna. It's bad and I'm not a healer" responded Dante in a worried tone. Giving Dante an equally horrified look, Lisanna started to speak.
"There has to be something we can do" responded Lisanna, praying that Mira would live. Lisanna's words caused Dante to think of a solution. Standing up, Dante started to speak.
"I think I have an idea, hold on" responded Dante before he started to speak through Warren's telepathy magic.
"Wendy and Sorano can you hear me" asked Dante through the telepathy magic. Dante didn't have to wait long before he heard a response.
"I'm here master" responded Sorano.
"Master! I was worried about you when that flash of light separated us" responded Wendy in a relieved tone.
"Yah I'm fine but Mira is badly wounded. I need one of you two to heal her" responded Dante before he turned his attention towards Lisanna as he continued to speak.
"Lisanna watch over Mira for a moment while I go find help" stated Dante as he channeled his magical power and transformed into his Agnel Soul Gabriel form. Spreading his wings wide, Dante took off into the air as he continued to speak through the telepathy magic.
"Sorano and Wendy, I need you to fire off a flare so I can see if your locations are near me. I'm going to fly towards the closest one and bring you to Mira" stated Dante in a hurried tone, hoping that Sorano or Wendy were close by.
"Okay master" responded Wendy, before she fired off a flare. Looking around, Dante started to speak.
"Did you fire the flare yet Wendy" asked Dante through the telepathy magic.
"Yes I did master, just now" responded Wendy. Taking another look around, Dante didn't see any flare smoke trail. Cursing his luck, Dante started to speak.
"Damn I don't see the flare; you must not be nearby" responded Dante before he continued to speak.
"Sorano you're up, hurry up and fire a flare" stated Dante grateful that Marvis had the foresight to make sure everyone in the guild had flares so they could signal for help.
"Fire it now master" responded Sorano before she aimed her flare gun towards the air and fired it. After Sorano said these words Dante saw from the corner of his eye a trail of smoke fire into the air. Relived that he could see Sorano's flare, Dante started to speak.
"I see it Sorano. Stand by for pickup, I'll be there in a flash" responded Dante before he channeled his magical power to enhance his speed. Using his wings Dante flew quickly through the air, rushing towards the area he knew Sorano was. Soon Dante flew into the area right above Sorano, soaring towards Sorano as he continued to speak.
"We don't have any time to waste Sorano" stated Dante in a hurried tone as he landed in front of Sorano. Nodding her head, Sorano started to speak.
"Right" responded Sorano as Dante picked her up bridal style into his arms. Spreading his wings wide as Sorano wrapped her arms around his neck, Dante started to speak.
"Hold on tight Sorano, I'm going to be moving a top speed" responded Dante in a hurried tone. Nodding her head, Sorano started to speak.
"I understand, please hurry master" responded Sorano, just as concerned as Dante was. After Sorano said these words Dante flew high into the air. Soaring through the sky, Dante rushed back towards were he left Mira and Lisanna. In record time Dante made it back to Mira and Lisanna, quickly setting Sorano onto the ground.
"Sorano please save Mira" stated Lisanna in a worried tone as Sorano rushed over to Mira. Nodding her head, Sorano started to speak.
"I'll try my best" responded Sorano in a worried tone as she examined Mira's injury. As Sorano examined Mira's injury, Sorano continued to speak.
"This injury is bad, I don't think I have enough magical power to" stated Sorano before she was cut off by Dante.
"Take my magical power Sorano, as much as you need" responded Dante as he placed a hand on Sorano's shoulder, ready to lend as much magical power that was needed in order to save Mira. Shaking her head, Lisanna started to speak.
"No big brother, let me give Sorano my magical power" responded Lisanna as she placed a hand on Sorano's shoulder.
"Lisanna I have way more magical power to give" responded Dante. Shaking her head at these words, Lisanna started to speak.
"Yah and you need to save your magical power. You're one of our best fighters, you need to save your magical power to fight" responded Lisanna before she turned her attention back towards Sorano and continued to speak.
"Sorano take all the magical power you need from me, just not from Dante" stated Lisanna in a determined tone. Still not ready to let this matter drop, Dante started to speak.
"Lisanna don't be" responded Dante before he was cut off by Sorano.
"No master, Lisanna is right. You need to save all the magical power you can, the war isn't over yet" stated Sorano as she began to pour her healing magic into Mira while drawing power from Lisanna. Watching as Sorano began to heal Mira, Dante started to speak.
"If you need more magical power don't hesitate to take it from me Sorano" responded Dante, relenting under Sorano and Lisanna's arguments. Nodding her head, Sorano started to speak.
"Okay master" responded Sorano as she continued to focus on healing Mira. Sparing a friendly smile towards her big brother, Lisanna started to speak.
"Don't worry big brother, I have plenty of magical power" responded Lisanna with a smile. Smiling back at Lisanna, Dante started to speak.
"Alright sis I'll leave it to you but don't give away too much magical power. I can spare some if you need it" responded Dante with a smile, proud at how far Lisanna had come. After saying these words Dante turned his attention towards Mira. Watching as Sorano continued to heal Mira, Dante continued to speak.
"Is Mira going to be okay Sorano" asked Dante in a worried tone, praying that his little sister and wife would live. As Sorano continued to pour her magic into Mira, she started to speak.
"I think so, it's early to tell but I think I am able to heal the worst of it" responded Sorano in a somewhat strained tone as she focused her magic on Mira's injury. Dante breathed a sigh of relief at these words while he started to speak.
"Thank you Sorano, this means so much" responded Dante in a grateful tone. After Dante said these words Dante and the others had their attention drawn to Mira as she started to stir.
"Ahhh Sorano when did you get here" asked Mira in a weak tone as she opened her eyes. With tears in her eyes, Lisanna started to speak.
"Mira" yelled Lisanna in a relieved tone, happy that her big sister was going to be okay.
"Why are you crying Lisanna" asked Mira, confused why her little sister was so shaken up. Before Lisanna could respond, Dante enveloped Mira in a strong hug as he started to speak.
"We almost lost you Mira" responded Dante with tears falling from his eyes while he continued to hold Mira tightly to him. Holding Mira tightly to him, Dante continued to speak.
"I almost lost you Mira, I can't lose you" stated Dante in a shaky tone. Smiling sweetly as she wrapped her arms around Dante, Mira started to speak.
"I'm sorry for making you worry Dante" responded Mira in a sweet tone despite the throbbing pain in her body. Mira could feel her big brother shake in her arms as he sobbed into her shoulder. Wrapping her arms tighter around Dante, Mira continued to speak.
"You won't lose me Dante. I'm not going anywhere" stated Mira in a sweet tone. Leaning back from his little sister's warm embrace, Dante looked Mira in the eyes as he started to speak.
"I can't lose you Mira, I love you" responded Dante with a tearful expression as he rested his forehead against Mira's. Smiling sweetly at her big brother and husband, Mira started to speak.
"I love you too Dante, and I promise you won't ever lose me" responded Mira in a sweet and loving tone before she leaned forward and kissed Dante on the lips.
Smiling into the loving and passionate kiss, Mira imparted all of her affection for her big brother and husband through the lip lock. Kissing Mira's sweet lips, Dante felt his worry melt away as he enjoyed the blissful moment. Pressing his lips harder against Mira's, Dante was grateful that Mira was going to be okay. For serval moments Dante and Mira continued to sweetly kiss one another, enjoying that they had each other. After serval more moments Dante leaned back from Mira's sweet lips as he started to speak.
"You're so important to me Mira. I'm so glad that you are okay, you terrified me just now" stated Dante with a blissful smile. Smiling back at her big brother and husband, Mira started to speak.
"Sorry for making you worry Dante" responded Mira in a sweet tone before she continued to speak.
"I was worried about you also Dante. You seemed to get really dark when you were fighting against Irene" stated Mira, thinking about when Dante was being influenced by his Lucifer soul when he fought against Irene. Giving Mira an embarrassed look, Dante started to speak.
"Yah sorry about that, I wish you didn't have to see that. That is the reason why I don't like using my Lucifer form. My Lucifer form grants me a ton of power but the more power I draw from it, the more my personality darkens" responded Dante in an embarrassed tone that his little sister had to see his dark side. Seeing the worried look that Mira, Sorano and Lisanna were giving him, Dante continued to speak.
"Don't worry about it you three. The personality change only happens when I'm in my Lucifer form" responded Dante with a warm smile, stepping back from Mira's warm embrace. Still somewhat worried about her big brother, Mira started to speak.
"Are you sure Dante? I know how takeover magic can be, how you can lose yourself to a strong takeover soul. Are you sure you can handle your Lucifer form" asked Mira in a concerned tone. Smiling lovingly at Mira, Dante took hold of her hand as he started to speak.
"Yes Mira I'm sure" responded Dante in a confident tone. Smiling sweetly at Dante, Mira started to speak.
"Okay Dante, just remember that I can't lose you either" responded Mira in a sweet and loving tone. Smiling back at his lovely sister and wife, Dante started to speak.
"Don't worry Mira, you won't lose me" responded Dante in a loving tone before he leaned forward and kissed Mira sweetly on the lips. As Dante lovingly kissed his little sister and wife, he hoped that he would be able to keep his promise to Mira.
